Fun: Artist, Dredge, Sadako, Pyramid Head, Ghostface, Wraith.
Not Fun: Huntress, Nurse, Legion, Hag, Nemesis, Pinhead, Bubba, Blight.
-
I occasionally run Ruin, Plaything and/or Pentimento, but that's about it.
-
It's literally like playing Mending Simulator. Nothing fun or engaging about their power, just run hit and run away.
-
It's still a strong perk despite it's nerfs. Yes, it loses the information aspect, but it's still strong.
-
Artist, Sadako, and Pyramid Head's PTB chase music.
-
Survivors got barely any buffs this update. The Calm Spirit and Pharmacy "buffs" are a complete joke. Lightweight, BT, Off The Record, and Hope are about the only good buffs we got.
Meanwhile, DS, Self Care, Iron Will, and Spine Chill got nerfed into complete uselessness. And on top of that, survivor running speed when getting injured got nerfed and killer breaking animations and weapons cooldown got buffed, which will lead to shorter, meaningless chases. Killers got the best out of this update.
-
You kind of have to just memorize the gen spawns on this map. Like one can spawn in the music room, one can spawn in the chemistry lab, one can spawn in the library (either on the top or bottom floor). It's just about memorizing where the rooms are and where the gens can potentially spawn.

Basic survivor heavily nerfed? With free anti tunneling? gens take 10 more seconds lol, 10 seconds is nothing for survivors but never enough for a killer. The problem isn't gen speed per se it's how long it takes a killer to find, chase, hook and prevent gens from being completed. Chases can take however long a survivor can make it which means chasing alone can take more time than multiple gens.
IF you abandond the chase then you gotta restart the whole process again with someone else which is an even bigger time waster.
What survivor Perk is useless? Survivors synergise well with every Perk since survivors are a blank sheet where anything makes them better at something. Killers don't work like that, they powers are suited for something particular, so you need specific things to compliment that. An M1 killer can make decent use out of most Perks but decent use means they don't use them very well.
The gen speeds being increased without increasing the hook timer in compensation will just make camping a more effective strategy, which isn't needed. And it's not only the gen speeds, it's also the chase mechanics. Killer's breaking animations and swing cooldown has decreased and survivors Sprint speed when getting injured has been reduced, making it too easy for killers to catch survivors. Also, the 5 second base BT is an absolute joke. 5 seconds is nothing, the killer will just wait then down.
Also survivor perks that are useless:
DS - The 3 second stun is an absolute joke and it deactivating in endgame makes the perk pointless.
Calm Spirit - It still keeps it's current effects with the "bonus" of quietly searching chests and cleansing totems, but at the cost of those action speeds being unnecessarily reduced drastically, making the perk not worth running at all. It hinders more than helps.
Self Care - An already bad perk turned worse. With old Self Care it took about 35 seconds to heal. Now it's going to take 45. That's literally half a generator. The Medkit efficiency was it's only saving grace and that was completely removed for no reason.
Spine Chill - Unnecessarily removed the vault speed and now only work when the killer is looking directly at you. Oh and the flickering thing was removed too. So this perk was made completely useless too.
Iron Will - 75% quieter injured sounds is pointless and any killer with a good headset can counter it. And the effect being completely cancelled when exhausted is unnecessary, too. Makes this perk entirely useless.
Also, shout out to Resurgence, Solidarity, Poised, This Is Not Happening, Buckle Up, Up The Ante, Left Behind, Boon: Exponential, Boon: Dark Theory, and so many others.
-
I already own the full outfit, but yes it should come to the store. I hate exclusive, limited time things.
-
Everything good was handed to killers and survivors got nothing out of it and nerfed to oblivion (Save for the Off The Record Buff).
-
His knives are more difficult to use on a controller, but it's doable.
-
It's probably not gonna happen, but hopefully the fog returns one day. It would make mist offerings actually do something, too.
-
If the proposed changes go live (which they sadly most likely will), most definitely.
-
I've had a very busy schedule this month, so I barely got to play much of the event. It would be nice to have the event extended, but I highly doubt it will happen.
-
So the only good buffs coming for survivors this update can't go live? Hm, ok then.
The buffs to Lightweight, Hope, and Off The Record are fine. Besides, basic survivor mechanics are getting heavily nerfed and a lot of survivor perks are getting nerfed into complete uselessness, so these perk buffs are the only shining light for survivors. But these will probably be nerfed too because killers will complain about anything that's viable for survivors.
-
No, leave it alone. Survivors have already been nerfed enough.
-
Yep. Self Care was really popular among Solo players because they cannot rely on teammates, and now with it's unnecessary nerf, will be thrown into the dumpster with all the other useless perks. DS was also unnecessarily nerfed to complete uselessness. The only good perk that's going to be in this update is Off The Record, which will probably also be nerfed upon release.
-
It's between Self Care and DS. Self Care more so because it was already a bad perk, and now it's been nerfed into complete uselessness.
-
Maybe I'll P3 Haddie, Yoichi, Adam, and Jonah before the rework, but that's it. The "reward" is not worth getting every character to P3.
-
This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. This "reward" is not worth the billions of BP, perks, offerings, items, and addons wasted.
-
Self Care was really only popular among Solo players and for good reason. And now the players who Self Care in corners while others are hooked or dying will just do it for longer, effectively killing their teammates.
What great changes. /s
-
Dead Hard, Iron Will, DS, Calm Spirit, Spine Chill, Ruin, Self Care. All made completely useless for no reason.
-
Spine Chill didn't need a nerf, it was a well balanced perk and the only counter to stealth killers. Now it's garbage, just like every other survivor perk in this update.
-
Yep, it's ridiculous. The 3 second stun is a joke and will not counter tunneling. Also deactivating in the end game is pretty dumb because you can still get tunneled during the EGC. Just another buff to tunneling, which wasn't needed.
-
Yeah, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Camping is already an issue and with these changes it's going to be even more common.
-
I use it for the BP. The aura reading is a bonus, especially when playing killers like Artist and Sadako.
-
Probably because they're not fun at all to go against. It's literally just Mending Simulator.
-
Doctor's power is fine as is. His power is already complicated enough with the moving skill checks, static, fake pallets and illusionary Doctors.
-
He's nearly unplayable and unenjoyable. He's a difficult killer not worth learning.
-
Sometimes I miss them, sometimes I don't.
-
It's most likely because of the event. People have been playing greedy/sweaty during this whole event.
-
Silent Hill - One of the best chapters ever released. Cheryl and Lisa are two of my mains (And two of my favorite SH characters), Pyramid Head is fun to play and I love the creepy atmosphere of Midwich and all the easter eggs.
Portrait Of A Murder - As soon as Artist was introduced to DBD, I absolutely fell in love with her power. Her power is very fun to use and I love the overall design of her character. Her lore is also great. Jonah is meh and I never really play him. Eyrie Of Crows is beautiful and probably one of my favorite maps in the game.
Roots Of Dread - I love the Dredge, he's probably one of the creepiest killers we've had I this game in a while. His power is very fun to use and I love surprising survivors during Nightfall. I didn't really like Haddie at first, but she kind of grew on me and now she's one of my mains, next to Nea, Zarina, and Cheryl. I also love her lore.
-
Yeah, I really love his Masquerade skin. It's one of his best cosmetics next to the Dolls one. I also love Haddie's event cosmetic too.
-
I'd gladly take Dredge over the mass amount Nurses, Legion, and Nemesis's (who are by far more annoying) I've been getting during this event.
-
I really like Artist because of her lore. I also love art IRL, so that's something we can relate on.
I also like Haddie because she's not conventionally pretty and she's experienced things from the supernatural/paranormal, which I also have. I also really like her lore.
-
Survivor meta perks are getting changed too. And you never really know if the perk changes will be good or bad, we just have to wait and see.
-
Just to give the killer less BP and just to spite the killer.
-
Another reason to hate Coldwind Farm.
-
I actually have a lot of fun playing against Dredge on Garden Of Joy. I find him fun to go against in general, but the locker placements provide for good jumpscares and the map itself looks creepy during Nightfall.
-
The event has been ok. The first day was absolute hell, but now killers seemed to have chilled out on the camping/tunneling/slugging and survivors are actually decently slow on gens. I've also been getting a lot of 5 flan games, which is great because more BP. The Anniversary Tome is a pain, though.
-
Sometimes I get tired of killer, sometimes I get tired of survivor. I will say that killer is the more fun role, but I like playing both sides equally.
-
I can't take it out of my builds.
-
First match: Sweaty tunneling Nurse
Second match: Sweaty tunneling Nurse
Third match: Sweaty tunneling and camping Myers.
Yeah, I'm definitely not bringing any Flans and just using Escape Cakes. I'm not giving these toxic killers any free BP.
-
The first 3 games I've played so far I've been tunneled out of the match and camped. Can't even get my event rewards and event tome challenges done because of this. Killers ruin events more than anything.
-
Nope, I'm still going to stockpile them. Killers tend to camp/tunnel/slug during events and I'm not going to waste my offerings.
-
Jake, Haddie, David, and Elodie.
-
It easy to use and I don't have to worry about survivors body blocking me.
-
Yep. I keep getting a "Initialization Error" and I've tried everything to fix it and it still shows up.

I'm on Xbox and you can see my screenshot above. It is very much not bright 😅
Oh, then it must have been a bug or something. I've only played on the map like 2-3 times on console and the map was extremely bright every time, so I don't really know. This was when the chapter first came out too.
-
Yeah, but the weird thing is on console it's really bright (at least from the times I've played on it on console), but on PC it's very dark. The Haddonfield houses have the same issues.
