I buy every chapter, regardless of the killer changes and whatnot. So either way, I'll be getting it.
-
This is ridiculous. Blast Mine was fine as it was and now it's garbage. It takes so much work to get it already and that was fine before because if the killer didn't kick the gen at least you had it to use elsewhere. Now it's stupidly situational like almost every other survivor perk. It feels like survivors can't have any fun perks anymore without them being unnecessarily nerfed into uselessness.
This needs to be reverted.

I personally kind of like how cartoony he looks. I do not feel the rest of the killers are close to "realistic" so it is not as though he stands out THAT much, to me, at least.
Yeah, that's how I feel about it. I don't really care as he looks normal to me.
-
Old insta-heals: They were really fun to use, but were completely unfair for the killer, so it's kind of a good thing they got nerfed.
Old Freddy: He was considered very weak back then and only played by skilled players, but he was really fun to play and play against. Seeing a survivor getting carried outside of the Dreamworld was also cool since it looked like they were floating.
Old Sabotaging: It was time consuming, but it was really fun to do. Although going around and 99'ing all of the hooks was kind of unfair for the killer, so maybe it's a good thing that was changed too.
Old Toolboxes: Not gonna lie, these were straight up OP. Gens took only 70 seconds back then (I think?) and Mechanic's Toolbox or Commodius Toolbox with Socket Swivels and Wire Spool basically lasted the whole game.
Also, not really a change but something I wanted to mention: the unhook bug where when a survivor unhooked you, you would still have the hooked animation and was basically floating across the map. It was the funniest thing ever when that happened, but it also got you caught easy. I kind of miss it.😆
-
Not really, as he still looks like Michael Myers to me. But he does kind of look cartoony compared to the rest of the updated killers, though.
-
For survivor, Blast Mine, Residual Manifest, Overcome, Appraisal, and Sole Survivor.
For killer, Pain Resonance, Deadlock, Eruption, Call Of Brine, Merciless Storm, and STBFL.
-
I am excited for Ada and Wesker. There might also be a Sheva legendary outfit, which I am definitely going to get. Also, the cheaper bloodwebs will be nice.
-
Alert is fine as it is. It's a good information perk.
-
Not Nemesis, but Wesker will definitely be fun to play.
-
Because Hag can instantly teleport and she is a defense killer, so guarding a part of the map is essential for her. She can also instantly injure a s
Artist is basically a M1 killer and requires survivors to be very close to her crows (when not swarmed) to get any use out of them. It's very difficult to injure swarmed survivors because of the timing and it requires a lot of skill to pull off.
-
Definitely Wesker. It's more fun when you can throw survivors across the map. He also has a stronger power, cooler design, and better chase music.
-
Robin and Eddie are my favorite ST characters, so I would rather have them as survivors. Hopper is cool, too, but not really my favorite.
-
Yes, sometimes I will be nice and let the last 1 or 2 survivors go. Or if a survivor does something adorable or funny, I'll let them go.
-
No, there's no such thing. That's just called gen pressure, which is what the killer is supposed to be doing.
-
Cheryl, but since she's a licensed character it's very unlikely she'll ever get one.
As for original characters, definitely Zarina. Her lore could be expanded by a lot and a new tome for her means new cosmetics for her.
-
I'll buy it whenever, but I'll most likely buy it when it's still new.
-
The map will be changed soon, so people probably want to play on the old version before it goes. It could also be because of the RR chapter coming out, too.
-
Because now the perk is useless, just like how they made other good survivor perks be. It's pointless in solo queue and only really useful with SWF.
-
Bill is probably the closest to his source material. His lore fits perfectly into DBD, he looks like he did in L4D (Just in DBD graphics), and he even sounds a bit like him, too. His perks even fit him well.
-
I don't know why, but when I read "Siren" in the title I thought you were referring to an actual siren alarm.
But in all seriousness, this sounds like a good idea. We've been missing an aquatic-like killer and a siren would be perfect for that.
-
It basically turned into dust clouds. The fog is what made the game scary and unique, but for some reason it was thrown into the dumpster.
-
Eh, nonsense and immaturity at its finest. It's best just to ignore it because all they want is a response.
-
Oof... Adding this to the list of "Tome Challenges That I Will Never Get Finished".
-
Yes, 2018 DBD was the best. And the old graphics were better, too.
-
Sometimes. I will admit, some of the survivors I spectate are kind of funny.
-
Corrupt got the same treatment that Self Care did. Unnecessarily nerfed for no reason and making the perk way worse.
Corrupt was fine as it was, it was a decent slowdown perk. But now it's kind of situational and "meh". Didn't need the change.
-
Artist's noises and her chase music. Her noises perfectly portray a bird and her chase music has the solemn/tragic feel, which perfectly fits her character.
Also the clinking noises for the AOT skins. It's kind of satisfying running around and hearing the clinking sounds.
-
I would move Artist to S tier and Deathslinger to high A tier, but other than that I mostly agree with this.
-
The same issue occurs with the Haddonfield houses as well. I play on both PC and console, and the console versions of both Haddonfield and Garden Of Joy are bright while the PC versions are dark. It shouldn't be that way.
-
To be fair, the killers were the ones complaining about RPD being too big, not survivors. So... Yeah.
-
Ah yes, because last patch all of the killer buffs didn't happen. /s
-
The current SBMM doesn't even work, so I'd rather take the old ranked system.
-
Myers is probably the closest to his source material.
-
I definitely will be buying both of them. Ada is my favorite out of the two, but I'm also starting to love Rebecca as well.
-
Exactly the point that I keep trying to make. The double standards are absolutely insane. Survivors can't have DS or OTR at Endgame, But killers can have perks like NOED and Rancor. One side shouldn't get free wins, killers and survivors should be held to equal standards.
-
Nope, they'll be longer. A popular villain is being brought into the game, so everybody will want to play him. And Reassurance is probably going to get nerfed into uselessness like every other good survivor perk, so yeah.
-
I just want old Freddy back, but I know that's never going to happen.
But current Freddy is so boring, he needs something to make his gameplay more fun.
-
I've never once seen anyone use it, other than for adept Ash.
-
Yes, even though they won't be. Perk tiers are now used for Prestige Level "rewards", so it's pretty clear they're not going anywhere anytime soon
-
Yes, occasionally. I mainly base my builds around gen defense, so BT usually never makes it into my builds. But when I feel like bringing it, I will.
-
No, leave Prove Thyself alone. It's one of the few good perks survivors have left. Gen times were increased and killers refuse to give up their 3-4 perk gen slowdown builds, so PT is a reasonable counter for that. And having two or more survivors on a gen is more beneficial to the killer than having all of the survivors spread out.
-
They're kind of bad. Leon's is probably the best out of all of them.
-
Yeah, probably. Mainly for Ada and Wesker, since they're two of my favorite RE characters. Also, Wesker looks really fun to play, so obviously I have to try him out.
-
I disagree completely. In fact, Artist is one of the most balanced killers in the game.
To get the most use out of her power, you have to be sneaky when you place her crows and predict where the survivors are going to go. You also have to know the cooldown time of her power and how long her crows stay idle. You also can kind of force survivors to run into crows you place at loops, and if they get swarmed and run to another loop or pallet, try to hit them with another crow before they repel all the birds. You can also apply a lot of map pressure with her Dire Crows and potentially get a bird snipe across the map if you do it correctly.
Artist's power is all about timing and prediction, and she can be hard to master at first. But once you know her power, she's one of the best killers to play.
-
Prove Thyself is fine. Besides, it's more beneficial for the killer when two survivors are working on a gen.
Also too many stealth options? There's barely stealth in this game to begine with.
-
It would make levelling in the blood web more bearable, so yes.
-
It's a waste, imo.
-
I would say Eddie, but I'm going with Robin since she's a main character and I've been wanting her in the game since the first Stranger Things chapter came out. I would love Eddie to be in the game, too, though.
-
I don't really like how new RPD is cramped and small with a ton of junk getting in the way of loops and basic pathways.
Current RPD is just as bad though because of it's gigantic size.
