If the killer is hard tunneling or camping in the basement, I'm not staying in the match regardless of BP. It's a waste of time to stay in a match where you can't do anything.
-
No. Toolboxes were nerfed to the ground a long time ago, no sense of making them even more useless. And with all of the slowdown builds killers are bringing, especially with the extra gen time, survivors need a way to counter them.
-
Because they STILL haven't added an Artist profile picture yet, so I went with Nea, who was my first survivor main in this game.
-
Pyramid Head, Demo, Cleon, and Sadako.
-
Killers haven't been weak in a long time, even before the killer buffs. Thanatophobia still works as it's supposed to and Reassurance is a good perk to counter camping. If you don't want to worry about Reassurance, don't camp. It's as simple as that.
Also, as all the killer mains told the survivors post-update: Adapt and get good.
-
If the killer spots me and chases me or if they're camping, I'll leave. But if not, I'll definitely go for the save.
-
Nurse, Legion, Nemesis, Huntress.

Her lore ia actully pretty good. It provides alot of world building and shows alot of monsters, which ties into her personality. I doubt their are many people who would willinly fight monsters at such a young age and win, which shows her bravery and determintation. She is also shown to be resoursful and smart, as show with the vampire she fought

Disagree on the lore department. She's pretty interesting since she ties into the entity well
Fair enough. Tbh, I just skimmed through her lore and haven't read it in it's entirety, so maybe I missed a couple things. I might go back and fully read it through.

Doesn't need any changes? You sure about that? Because that same argument could go for old Pain Res. Didn't need any changes. Still oppressive as heck. Reassurance is at least 4x more oppressive and you can have 4 instances of that perk.
Yes, it does need changes. No killer should deal with potentially 30 minutes of hook time.
Old Pain Resonance was fine and wasn't even oppressive.
And that "what if" 30 minute wait scenario for Reassurance would rarely occur, if ever. Just don't camp, it's that simple.
-
These are more like nerfs than "fixes". Reassurance doesn't need any changes, don't camp and you don't have to worry about it. Leave the perk alone.
-
It could be because of lack of cosmetics. She doesn't have that many cosmetics to work with and two of her good cosmetics are exclusives (The Amazon Prime skin and the Event Tome skin). Her only other good cosmetic is a set, which you can't mix and match.
She also doesn't have any memorable qualities. There's nothing really interesting about her character, she's just kind of there. No interesting lore, no interesting cosmetics. She's kind of just bland.
-
Yes. Like those "hide within x meters of the killer for y seconds" challenges that you have to do in a single match. You basically have to follow the killer around all match to get any progress towards it.
-
Pain Resonance and Hex: Bloodfavor. They're not particularly OP, but just very annoying to face and I've been seeing them a lot recently.
-
I main Artist because I love her visual design, her cosmetics, her power, basically everything about her.
Dredge because I love how spooky their power can be and they have some of the best cosmetics in game.
Still currently learning Pyramid Head and also hoping to main Spirit again since I basically have to re-learn her power because I haven't played as her in so long. And Wesker will definitely be one of my mains when he comes out.
-
Because his tentacle hit box is weird and sometimes the size of a truck and his zombies are very annoying. Also most Nemesis's tend to play in the most toxic way they possibly can.
-
Artist - I love her power, her lore, and her visual design. However, she has very mediocre addons and her Dire Crow hit boxes can be a little weird at times.
Dredge - I love their power and visual design, however some of their addons work a little weird. (Like Boat Key and Iridecent Wooden Plank).
Sadako - I love her power and visual design, but she's held back by a weak power. Condemned doesn't do anything and survivors can remove her map pressure (TVs), which honestly shouldn't be a thing. Also her jumpscare in the lobby. I could be zoned out levelling her up while waiting for a lobby and she'll just pop out of nowhere. It's cool, but I kind of wish there was an option to disable it.
-
Artist is great and I love everything about her. However, if I had to rank her, she'd be in A tier. She can apply map pressure (via Dire Crows), counter loops, and even down survivors from a distance if precise enough. The only issue she has is that Dire Crow hit boxes are a little weird, so you never know if a crow will actually hit a survivor or not.
Dredge is also cool and I'd rank them around B tier. They have good map pressure (via locker teleportation), has a mini stealth mode (Nightfall), and has a decent Anti-loop ability (Although it can be countered quite easily).
Sadako has a nice power, but it's very weak and very unsatisfying to use. I'd rank her around low C tier. Survivors can get rid of her map pressure, TVs take ages to reactivate, Condemned is a complete joke. She's basically a M1 killer with limited map mobility.
-
Maybe, I don't know. But I'm not keeping my hopes up because even if they do release any new cosmetics for Wesker and the other RE characters, they're more than likely to be sets.
-
Honestly, I'm fine with her being less popular and not talked about enough. If she were, survivors would be complaining to get her nerfed and I don't want that to happen.
Some people find her boring to play, though, which I guess is understandable. You really have to know how to use her power to get the most fun out of playing her.
-
Yeah, pretty much. If I get matched with a cheater I don't bother reporting them because the reporting process is so tedious. And then most of the time nothing is done about it, so yeah.
-
Boons aren't even that strong, especially compared to Hex perks. Shattered hope doesn't need to be basekit.
-
I run Residual Manifest a lot, so getting a blind at any time is satisfying. Might as well get use out of it when I can.
-
It's probably just for the RE characters since Project W is coming out. I do hope they fix Cheryl's face eventually, though.
-
I don't know anything about AOT because I've never watched it, but I really like the Mikasa outfit because it looks cool. That's all I can really say. 😅
-
It's a ok game. I love the Fallout games, but New Vegas didn't really stick with me like the others did. The desert setting just didn't really appeal to me, but other than that the game was ok.
I actually like how your choices impact the game and your character, though. It makes it worth playing and creates a lot of replayability and a memorable experience.
-
I loved FNAF back when it first came out and played all of the games until FNAF World, then after a while I kind of just lost interest and stopped playing the games for a while. It still has a special place in my heart, though, as I have fond memories of the game and it got me through a lot back then.
I did play FNAF: Security Breach when it came out, though, and it was very disappointing to say the least. The newer games aren't even scary anymore, which is kind of sad. And the newer games could've been better if they would've stuck to the horror elements that made the original so great and memorable. It's kind of sad to see how this franchise turned out, tbh.
-
Never noticed how similar Felix and Wesker look until now. 😂
-
Tier 19 or 20, I think. I haven't been playing that much as of late because of life stuff and burnout, so yeah.
-
Yeah I don't get the point of last second switching. It's a waste of time, imo.

You're really just describing every other pig player out there
Fair enough. Tbh, I only go against Pig rarely so maybe I just don't go against enough of them to form a solid opinion.

The complaining and threads about this is out of control we get it you all do not like tunneling and camping how many threads and posts are you all going to make regarding this and the countless other pleas for DS to be reverted.....Maybe PVP Style games are just not for you.....
If a lot of people are complaining about it, then it's clearly an issue. People are allowed to voice their opinions and concerns about the game.
Also 2 second DS is a joke, which is why a lot of players want it reverted to it's previous version. 2 seconds isn't enough to get distance from the killer.
@Tsela said:

nah just probably your interpretation for camping or tunneling is way too broad so you blame that in each game
Ah yes, because the killer standing right next to the hook isn't considered camping, and the killer waiting out the 5 second BT and chasing you all game isn't considered tunneling, which is what has been happening most matches.
@danielmaster87 said:
5-second DS wouldn't have saved you there, btw. Neither would 2 DS's. The only chance you have against Pig there is for your team to do 5 gens, all leave, and then hopefully you get hatch. It takes efficiency and coordination, but it can be done. And you're taking a pretty extreme example of tunneling, a tunneling Pig who has an active head trap on you, to justify why the current anti-tunnel isn't good enough. I'm also guessing you don't run Off The Record or an exhaustion perk.
True, but 5 second DS would've bought me more time to get away and my team more time to do gens. Anti-tunnel doesn't even exist in this game anymore, thanks to DS being nerfed into the ground. And no, I don't run OTR and the only exhaustion perk I run is Overcome, which can only do so much when you're injured.

@Seraphor said:
That's just every pig. They always tunnel, despite having one of the most effective slowdown powers.
I mean, not really. Usually when I go against Pigs they're good, but they don't tunnel. The Pig that I recently went against had many opportunities to grab survivors off of gens and pressure gens, but she chose to tunnel me all game. Plus I had an active trap on, so she was kind of being counter productive with her power. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
-
STBFL was always a part of my main builds, so slowdowns
-
I've had hackers on my team as survivor and I've went against killer hackers.
-
I mean, the chat filter is kind of necessary because some people can't just be nice and can say very nasty things out of anger/hatred. But the way it was implemented wasn't very good and it needs a lot of adjustments.
-
Pinhead and Hag
-
Nope, I've seen him constantly before Project W was announced. And quite frankly, I'm getting very tired of seeing him.
-
Doctor because of the flashing and weird visual effects that give me a major headache.
Plague because her power is annoying to go against and I have bad vomit phobia, so everything about her makes me feel grossed out.
Nemesis because he's just plain annoying and I hate facing him. His zombies are also very annoying, too.
-
Cheryl had to live life on the run from a cult, had to relive her past memories when she was Alessa, had to go through the many horrors of Silent Hill, had a literal god growing inside her and had to fight said god. She also has to live with the pain of Alessa's memories and has to live with the pain of the death of her father. The poor girl needs a break.
-
No, that's not going to help anything. People are going to DC no matter what. You can't force players to stay in a game they don't want to. If they can't DC, they'll just go AFK or intentionally throw the game.
-
Ada (and somewhat Wesker) is the main reason why I'm probably going to get this chapter on day 1. I've been wanting her in the game forever and now I've finally got all of my favorite RE characters in the game so I'm happy. I'll definitely be maining Ada along with Claire and Leon. :-)
-
Survivor: I would say Mikaela and Cheryl. Funnily enough, I used to hate Mikaela and everything about her character, but for some reason she's kind of grown on me and now she's one of my main mains. I used to primarily main Nea, but I kind of abandoned her because of playing other characters for a while. She might return as one of my mains, though.
Killer: Artist. I love everything about her. Dredge would be a close second.
-
They make playing on Shelter Woods a bit more bearable, But other than that I hate them. They're too confusing and can sometimes lead into loops where you can't mind game or loops that connect to each other.
-
I'll probably buy the chapter on day 1 since it has Ada and Wesker. Not too sure about Rebecca since I barely know anything about her character, but she might grow on me.
Excitement wise, I'm not that excited. I'm not expecting much from this chapter and I'm assuming that the RPD rework is going to be the "map" for this chapter, which is kind of disappointing.
-
Favorite - Artist. I've been maining her since she was introduced to the game. She's really fun to play and sniping survivors with crows is really fun.
Least Favorite - Trickster. He's really boring to play as and feels very clunky to use.
-
Ada definitely will get her RE4 outfit and possibly her undercover/trenchcoat look from the RE2 remake.
I don't know much about Rebecca since I haven't seen her any of the RE games I've played, but she might get some of her outfits from the RE1 remake.
No idea about Wesker since the only game I've played with him in it was RE5, and he didn't have many different looks there.
As for the previous RE characters we have gotten (Leon and Jill), I'm hoping we can finally see Jill's STARS outfit and/or her look from RE5 or Revelations. And for Leon, hopefully his RE6 look and/or some of his outfits from the RE2 remake, or maybe his alternative outfit from RE4.
As for legendaries, Ashley seems like the most likely one. I don't know about Sheva since a lot of people didn't like her in RE5 (from what I've seen, at least), but she could be a possibility too.
-
For killer, I would say RPD, but that's getting reworked so I'm going to go with Mother's Dwelling. It's way too big and has a bunch of long and safe loops, and a couple infinites (unless they got fixed already).
For survivor I would say Dead Dawg Saloon. The map is super small and gens are close together, and there are very little strong loops present in the map. The only strong point is the saloon, but once the walls in there are broken it becomes a weak main building.
-
Trickster, Twins, Ghostface, Freddy, and Nemesis. I bought Trickster, Twins, and Nemesis's chapters solely for the survivors and haven't played them since their releases.
I got Ghostie to try him out, but ultimately ended up disliking his power because his reveal mechanic keeps getting messed up.
And I bought Fredward way back when he had his old power and was actually fun to play. Now he's just a shell of his former self and probably one of the most boring killer to play as.
-
Eh, I don't know. Maybe a little? I love Ada, Wesker is ok but not my favorite, and I don't know about Rebecca since I haven't played any RE game with her in it. Also, I'm a little skeptical about the RPD rework considering map balance hasn't been the greatest.
-
Been playing mostly solo survivor last night and the games have been surprisingly ok. Got a couple of bad games, but that's about it.
As killer though it feels like I've been getting paired with elite SWFs. And toolboxes every match. I haven't played killer in a while because of breaks from DBD and long queues, so maybe that's why.
Overall, it's been an ok experience though. Not too bad, not too good. Just in the middle.
