William Afton having that goddamned axe.
I waited 10 years BHVR, and you spackled Xenomorph Tunnels in paint and gave him a throwing axe. All the cool ideas and mechanics that could've come from a FNaF chapter, just to fall back on an easy archetype cause they know it would work. Reusing half the Greenville maps and leaving out the Springlock rooms is also criminal.
Man, I'm gonna miss this place. Going out as one salty sailor.
-
Wow. All our years of love and analysis and discussion and memories, and they just wipe it all away. Like it never was to begin with. So much time spent here.
That's cold Behavior.
I know it's cheesy, but if there's any solace in this, anything positive I can take away from time spent over the years of my life DBD is flagrantly disregarding, it's that I enjoyed spending time and getting to know all of you.
-
Some part of me will always hope for Old Freddy back, knowing that you'd have a field day with it. Always a pleasure reading what you had to say General, here's hoping we face each other someday again in the Fog!

GOD MusicNerd, that's a name I haven't heard in ages! Absolute G, changed his name in solidarity with Cheers, I hope he's doing well
I hadn't even finished schooling or moved yet back when I was conversing with him (though I was very into SCP at the time, if you remember me), MusicNerd pushing me back into reading did a lot for my hobbies and personal aspirations. Wish the guy the best!
-
Been a long time, but thanks as well to @MusicNerd_TC. You introduced me to The Dark Tower series, and it eventually led to me reading over a quarter of Stephen King's catalogue.
Really puts things into perspective to think about just how many years I've conversed with some of you.
-
I don't use Discord, Reddit, or Twitter, I just scroll YouTube and read my chosen forums. This is likely going to result in me just caring about the game less tbh, seeing as I no longer have my chosen outlet to discuss it.
-
Welp, we had a good run guys. BHVR banned half its forum regulars, and now doesn't consider the forums big enough to support.
As a user whose been here since I believe Singularity, and was lurking long before that point, this is both entirely unsurprising and an awful confirmation that all of our time here has been undervalued and overlooked.
-
I honestly still enjoy 2v8 survivor a lot, even in games where it's clear the killers are going to stomp from the beginning. The match goes from trying to complete objectives and outpace killers to avoiding the massacre and looking for powerful tools or allies for when you need help.
It's a pretty different but fun experience, and it makes me wonder whether 2v8 would be better positioned as like a 10 minute hide and seek mode where the exit gates open or hatches spawn after the timer is up. It would firmly set in the modes roles as a more casual way to experience DBD, and provide an easy way to face and killer powers in a learners setting while ignoring more in depth mechanics like juggling gens and perks.
-
I would like Manual Scamper to return, just add a couple second buffer after using it that disables him from using Slice and Dice so he can't mindlessly guarantee hits like on release.
I love Chucky, but the devs cut ability after ability from his arsenal. He went from a killer based a fair amount on deception, and turned into a Dash Killer with a spicy form of undetectable.
-
You never get positive responses for using AI on these posts, and your topic would get more actual discussion if you didn't.
-
Downvoted for Ai Slop. A Dino killer could work but they need to be about Nemesis/Alien Queen tall in-game, sizing up a TRex in lobby and back down for in-game could work, but it'd probably be easier to just grab a Velociraptor.
-
It feels like since BHVR knows M1 Killers have had a much harder time in balancing as of late, they've just stopped making them. It's not great for the game because it encourages the team to ignore these killers even more than they already are.
Springtrap or Jason should've been M1 killers, or had M1 play styles as add-ons (the team should still do this). Attacking from a distance really isn't their style in source media and it's weird that learning a ranged power is necessary for both characters.
-
I feel as if Lithe has become the defacto exhaustion perk now. It's easily the most consistent perk out of the bunch for the various situations the killer roster will put you in.
Dramaturgy has been my perk of choice for the funnies since it released, so I'm glad at least my general load out is unaffected.
Hard to believe such a popular and kmd perk like sprint burst got taken down a peg honestly.
-
When the Walking Dead was initially added to the PTB, there was all this talk about when selecting Rick and Michonne, a unique tile would spawn on Greenville maps, and would be playable on the PTB through a test map that let you see the tile but was otherwise empty. This was officially communicated through BHVRs Socials at the time (a map wasn't even listed on twd roadmap).
Then, suddenly BHVR just changed tune entirely, and now the test map was a new map. Did BHVR add anything new aside from the tile, filter, and a fence? No. No they didn't.
It's clear that the licence holder changed their mind about having TWD content on og/licenced maps (it might've been able to spawn on Fazbear's), or BHVR just couldn't make DBDs jank ahh map generation play nice with tiles that spawn in relation to specific survivor and had to switch gears at the last minute.
It's pretty ridiculous Forgotten Ruins is still in the game untouched from its launch state given how clearly unfinished and unintentional it's existence is. I hope BHVR just redesigns into a new beast entirely, hopefully actually following through on the fused hospital and Prison concept the Devs hyped up initially.
-
I think I mixed up the effect with All Shaking Thunder cause they released at the same time. My mistake (bit embarrassed ngl)
I get so disheartened playing Houndmaster. She's one of the most fun killers in recentish memory, but it's just so frustrating to deal with the jank of selecting gens with the search mechanic followed by Snugs outright ignoring you 15% of the time.
The fact such a clearly useless addon is left untouched, with BHVR changing their stance to something clearly untrue to cope not doing anything about it, is pretty much the cherry on top.
annnnnnd I forgot to quote. Guess something about Knotted Rope really throws me off my game.
-
@MechWarrior3 said:

The devs later on had mentioned that the 2% is sufficient enough for a bonus. That they will not be adjusting it.
As a Houndmaster main - I personally disagree, which is why recently I did a addon on pass for her (Just addons) on the feedback side. It's still such a funny statement in retrospect. When the change was initially made, BHVR noted the 40%→2% was an intentional decision to kill the perks viability so they could safely revisit the addon later. They openly communicated the uselessness of the current effect of Knotted Rope.
Then? Suddenly it was viable and working as intended. If I'm not mistaken, the current stbfl increase isn't even within human range of perception compared to base.
Like wow. They genuinely think we're stupid.

Regarding #6, as someone who went to HHN Hollywood and got to see "The Terrifier" haunted house in real life, it blew my mind and made me so giddy as not just a Terrifier fan but as a horror fan. Would be awesome to see it added to DBD in some capacity (outside of just the lobby).
Exact same boat lmao. It was surreal as hell to see the Haunted House recreated in real life at HHN, and it would be right at home in Father Campbell's Chapel in game imo

man sucks to hear bhvr didnt Mocap David Howard Thorton… wonder if it was a schedule issue or if bhvrs internal system cant handle mocap to that degree
I just don't think BHVR incorporates mocap into their design process. It's already extremely difficult sometimes to convince celebrities/actors to allow BHVR to use their likeness or VA ingame, add in needing to hop in a mocap suit to make the model? BHVR would probably prefer to just make it themselves and skip the negotiations.
Not saying that Horton was difficult to work with or refused to do mocap, he seems very excited about the Collab, I just don't think BHVR does it in the first place.
-
1. David Howard Thorton has confirmed he unfortunately didn't do any Mocap or other work to realize Art in the fog, but did mention the DBD team has been painstakingly hard at work recreating his likeness and mannerisms for the character. We'll see how it goes since DBD is infamously rough with faces at times, but I have faith in the team to handle this.
2. I agree. A clown suddenly packing heat is one of Arts most iconic and best bits. Even parodies of the character like Needles in Fear and Hunger 2 does it. In some form, this should included, even if it's just in the Mori or smt.
3. I also agree. As someone whose two most anticipated characters were Springtrap and Jason, and who doesn't favor the design of ranged killers, I'd be a bit miffed if Art was added to the list. His personality is 100% an up in your face torturer, he can't be a distance killer.
4. We've seen a lot more increased gore from the devs in recent years, I heard Art is going to the most brutal character in the game by far. Here's hoping they follow through on it.
5. Yes, and for basically every reason you described.
6. Can we get the Terrifier Horror House added from the movie? Even it's to a prexisting map, it would be sick to loop around it in the fog.

It's such a bummer too because Freddy Carter in terms of casting is pre-scoop Michael, he's grimey and scrawny and has that Afton family charm to him. But the writing that they forced that poor guy to read and act out is just… FNAF is a joke and Scott is his own worst enemy.
All the FNaF movie castings are top notch imo, Mathew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich are the literally people I imagined in the roles since 2015 and both Josh Hutcherson and Freddy Carter did the best with what they had and could've been perfect a Mike/Michael had their character not been split in half.
Have no idea what FNaF 3 is going to look like after all the backlash, but at least it won't be boring?

Anything for Michael Afton. Seriously, I am never going to let go how disappointing it is that Scott wants the PC to be faceless despite giving him multiple appearances throughout minigames and cutscenes (sorta). And with DBD being the darkest FNAF has EVER and presumably WILL ever get, it's a colossal bummer that the purple corpse that is being fueled by Remnant and rage isn't allowed to join his dad in the Entity's realm.
I understood Michael being absent to preserve the mystery and interpretation of the character, since at the time he didn't have an official design beyond silhouette and knowing what he was about required proper understanding of the lore.
Then the second movie came out and made a complete mockery of his character for the sake of one the cheapest and most laughable plot twists ever put to film. Seriously, FNaF 2 is one of the funniest movies ever made and it is entirely unintentional on the movies part.
A proper interpretation of game Michael in DBD would become my new survivor main 100% no questions asked. Maybe alongside adding Elizabeth?
-
Getting a FNaF rift would be interesting, potentially showing character interactions with the Pizzeria in the fog, or giving a unique lens to certain game events like Afton being springlocked or his family dynamic.
The team still has yet to follow up on Foxy being absent, which has sprouted a conspiracy/cope theory from me that he was initially intended as a Blight skin but is being saved for a chapter of his own (Please don't do the Mimic for the love of God). Could be included or timed to coincide with a rift depending on which it is.
Him aside, Burning Springtrap feels like a no-brainer skin to be added imo (they added Gooptrap first for crying out loud), and the Mimic or Ennard could work as solid legendary/viscerals if chosen.
FNaF aside, a Silent Hill or RE rift would open my wallet too

I agree with you, but sadly some people claim
Tunneling will still happen so because it will still happen it won't work. But let's be honest unless you straight up make it impossible that croud won't be happy because tunneling will still happen.
There will always be this group who will do so.
True, but it isn't like giving a BP incentive for unique hooks is going to make tunneling more common either.
It'd just be a nice feature that does double duty of hopefully making Tunneling a bit less common tactic, and reducing the grind.
I can't see a downside to the mechanic, honestly.

ah thats interesting, do you have the source? Haven’t been around before Clowns release so i only really know about what others have said about it.
But it still stands that such statements are not meant as 100 percent future proof, which as i said can also be a very good thing! I would prefer more transparency about these kinda decisions like the reasoning you have given, interesting that they did such detailed explanations including another party back then, seems like the Community communication were on another Level then
Sorry, I can't find the original quote where it was said Starbreeze specifically was the one against a clown killer, it's scattered across the years of interviews and trivia in my recollection.
I've been invested in the game since seeing YouTubers play the beta, so I remember how odd the switch up from "we wouldn't want to alienate our audience" to naming a mechanic after Coulrophobia was.
I can definitively say that BHVR bought the publishing rights to DBD in March 2018, and Curtain Call followed shortly after in June of that year, so at least timing wise things seem to match how I remember them.

@Mooks said:

funnily enough there was a very early dev interview or something where they (iirc it was Cote) stated they would very likely never release a Clown Killer because coulrophobia was so Common and… well. That Statement didnt age that well.
So, cant take their word on such statements too strictly as they also may go back on their words (and rightly so - otherwise there would also be less room for improvements and positive evolution of the game)
Mcote did say that, but in the context that BHVR fully wanted to do a Clown chapter but was told no because Starbreeze thought a fear of clowns would drive away some players.
After BHVR bought complete creative control of DBD, the first Chapter they made was Curtain Call, which added Clown with the perk Coulrophobia.
I understand that was an instance of BHVR saying one thing and then immediately doing the exact opposite, but they basically got forced into their original stance and changed gears when they got handed the steering wheel.
-
FROM, LOST, and Fear & Hunger are probably my biggest wants for nontraditional Licenced Chapters. In terms of characters and settings that mold perfectly into DBD, these 3 licences bring something entirely unique to the game, and BHVR has multiple avenues to execute on that if they want.

removing Jason from June stats would then be incorrect though - because he was the top naturally during that month - its unfortunate timing on the release, but if we'd removed him we'd have an equal amount of outcry that we "cherrypicked" the data.
Nobody suggested removing Jason from June's stats though, you'd be separating the time in which his Killrate is inflated vs when it evened out after players figured him out, and hopefully be showing both to the community to better explain the amalgamate Kr we just got. Other killers don't need that treatment because their KRs didn't vary when the data was recorded.
To be frank, you can find 1000 reasons not to do something. I'm just letting you know that I think the way you have chosen to do it is dumb and misleading for a lot of the playerbase.
-
@Mandy said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4103587#Comment_4103587
Jason's kill rate has dropped since the stats were created, its in a much more regular spot right now. Krasue's didn't - hers was stronger. Not saying that maybe too much was nerfed on her, but her kill rate was pretty high.
Right, I get that. But like, why am I taking your word for it? Why is BHVR releasing stats that show inflated numbers, just for Community Managers to immediately pop out and explain how actually none of the stats are indicative of current performance?
We just had this conversation with Krasue, and people had trouble understanding it then even though she got very sizable number changes a little after release.
You already have plenty of people just straight up not believing you about Jason's kr in this thread, and honestly, I don't blame them. I don't really believe you either.
You have to understand that from where I'm sitting, BHVR is bringing this misunderstanding entirely unto themselves.
-
@ThatRyanB said:

The important point I do want to emphasize regarding The Slasher is that these stats only take into account his first 2 weeks in the game. During this time, players were still very much figuring out his counterplay, which likely had an impact on his kill rate. Rest assured, we're continuing to monitor his kill rate over time to see how this evolves.
Respectfully, this statement is a real headache for me.
If you know those two weeks skew the data, then...why are they included in the data? Split it off and release it on its own and avoid the inevitable flood of misunderstandings.
That aside, this is the exact logic that was used during the Krasue killrate debate all over again. Why was she nerfed and Jason isn't?
-
Jason is killing it (too much)
Kaneki, Huntress, Wesker, and Afton forming the popularity clique is unsurprising, but still interesting to think about with how different the 4 of them are.
Windows and Deja Vu + Pain Res are very understandable as most picked perks, as they're among the easiest to use for such powerful effects.
Shane players are a cut above the average survivor, I will remember this the next time one leaves me to die on hook.
Sable, Feng, and Meg continue in their quest to make BHVR a billion dollars.

Big Castlevania fan here and Dracula main since his inclussion.
Im surprised people here are saying that Castlevania content in this game is lackluster while it has been one of the chapters with the most content they have ever released. The only thing missing is a map (which is a shame tho, i would have loved a Dracula's Castle map).
But for CV chapter we got:
- Killer
- 3 skins for the killer
- Survivor
- 3 skins for the survivor, one of them legendary
- Dominus Rift pass, which i think it was the first licensed rift pass we got
- True Form legendary skin for Dracula
- Deep rift recolor for the legendary
- Soma legendary skin for Trevor
- Deep rift recolor for the legendary
- 3 "cosplays" for existing survivors (Jonathan, Shanoa and Maria)
- 1 "cosplay" for existing killer (Death)
- More charms
- True Form legendary skin for Dracula
- Dominus tome, with stories for Dracula and Trevor
- Easter eggs
- Wall chicken easter egg
- Dark Lord Soma easter egg
And thats ignoring the post launch Dracula and Richter skins we got (even if the Richter skin is rightfully "controversial"..). Dracula new skin is incredible.
The Castlevania content was bloated. As i said the only thing missing is a map…
There is also one issue i have with Dracula. As i said he became my main killer and i love playing as him, but i somehow still feel like his abilities could have been different…
And i dont mean that they seem to be directly the same from other killers (95% of the killer cast is like that) but more like in the games Dracula almost never goes into Wolf form for example. I think it only does in his Dracula X Chronicles fight in the PSP. The developers literally said in the Castlevania chapter streaming that they knew Alucard could turn into a wolf in the games so they though it was "cool" to do the same with Dracula in DbD.
I think Bat form is fine as he does seem to transform into bats more times, but instead of the Wolf form i was expecting him doing different spells similar to Vecna. Dracula in the games is still a sorcerer that usually attacks with fire magic, blood magic, necromancy…
But hey im still happy with him and the content we got.
As Shanoa said, it's not the quantity of the content that I find lackluster but the quality. FNaF launched with 2 Springtrap legendaries, 2 very rare outfits, the neat survivor shirt set, and later added a blighted skin, and I still consider the Collab lackluster for halfassing the map and power and not going for a survivor.
We've all said our piece regarding the cosplays, so I won't mention them again, but that aside, I don't find Trevor or Dracula's nonLegendary/visceral cosmetics appealing. The outfits themselves are rather unremarkable to me. There's nothing wrong with them, I just only tend to open my wallet for skins that swap the characters (and even then only if they're on sale or in a rift). It doesn't help that both their base models and Bloody cosmetics are some of the best in the game, and that Dracula spends a fair amount of the game as a wolf and bat that don't change with cosmetics.
Even still, Richter looks like Zoolander with his face stuck doing blue steel, and he, Alucard, and Soma only getting voice acting in lobby just makes me wonder why it was so hard for other characters like Simon or Sypha to get the same treatment.
There being no map is such a big missed opportunity that I'm probably going to consider this collab lackluster until we hopefully get one. They added Castlevania, and they forgot to include Castlevania.
On a certain level, I am just glad we have the ip in the game at all. I play Trevor and Alucard all the time and this is one of the best versions of Dracula for the game to grab (though I agree Wolf form is a bit unfitting for him), there's just a lot of opportunities left on the table that I can't help but feel unsatisfied.
- Killer

Did this seriously get 5 downvotes with no feedback? Did people really just see Jason get praised in the title and immediately click on it just to downvote, not realizing OP is talking about bloodpoints? Like seriously?
On topic, I agree, Jason's bloodpoints generation feels very on point, and it feels like the devs took previous complaints about killer releases into account for him. They should continue shooting for about this level in the future.

I agree with everything you said lol, I even alredy had an entire 2nd chapter post in the suggestions/feedback section with death as the killer, the castle as a map, and legendaries of the cosplays. Bhvr doesn't realise they set a standard with resident evil and silent hill having legendaries of each character BEFORE any cosplays were made, they broke that standard with the Castlevania chapter making cosplays of nearly all the characters in bulk without regard for bigger fans of those characters. Other players see the cosplays as "good enough" but fans of those characters certainly feel like they got slapped. That rift never should've had cosplays and they should have taken the time to bring those characters into the game gradually with the time required to make legendaries. I have no idea why they rushed it all in.
Thats also my first time hearing of why the castle wasn't a map lol
It's a pretty disappointing half measure yeah. I don't want to play Trevor wearing Simon's clothes and a wig, I want to play Simon!
Not being able to complete the Alucard, Trevor, Sypha or the Alucard, Richter, Maria trio bothers me a lot. We were so close to the Castlevania 3 cast and Rondo Blood cast reuniting (except ig Grant but even the anime couldn't be arsed to include him). It's just strange.
Richter and Alucard only have voice lines in lobby too, which is just lame (though I love Alucard's model). Ik we're basically just retreading the same ground, but Castlevania deserved the whole 2 Survivor Killer + Map combo instead of just Survivor and Killer. It kneecapped the Collab from the start imo
Thats also my first time hearing of why the castle wasn't a map lol
I believe it was on a King or Slasher Radio interview that Mcote stated a Castlevania map was too samey an idea to do right after Forgotten Ruins.
Strahd was also the initial choice for being DnD's killer (he's literally the mascot of their horror book after all) but got passed on for Vecna because doing a licenced Vampire killer right before adding Count goddamn Dracula to the game was a silly idea.
It's just a case of poor planning imo. They couldn't make the obvious DnD killer because he'd be cannabalized by Dracula, and they didn't want to add the obvious Castlevania map because they had literally just made a dark fantasy magic stronghold.
So then why'd they do DnD and Castlevania back to back in the first place?? L BHVR
-
The Castlevania content in DBD is lackluster, which is a massive shame because the series has so much more to offer the game.
Perks? You'd think we'd get unique items like the RE Collab with mystical subweapons or magic abilities. Instead the perks we got were wacky, but still completely forgotten about after release.
Killer? Dracula is cool, his visuals are peak vamp. There's just not much to talk about since his abilities are similar to other cast members. Still love his inclusion.
Map? Personally, I think the team could have put more effort into it, given it doesn't exist. The game's biggest missed opportunity by far aside from Englund Freddy, and it sullies the DnD map because the devs explicitly stated the only reason we didn't get a Castlevania map was so Vecna could have his Dungeon.
That aside, I think Alucard should have been a full second survivor rather than a skin, but it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things. I wish Simon, Shanoa, and Sypha were Legendary skins rather than costumes, but it is what it is.
I hope we get a sequel Chapter with Death (ignore the Nurse skin), Rose Belmont, and a map. Rework/buff a few Drac and Trevor perks, and I'd be much more positive on how the series is handled in game.

I would rather not see Slenderman in DBD. For BHVR to pass on it means internal polling for now agrees.
Not necessarily, this just means that Marble Hornets was passed on. BHVR could have chosen to licence the video game or an original interpretation of Slenderman and we'd still be seeing what we are now.
As someone who would like to see the Operator, could I ask what turns you off from the Collab? Something like issues adapting his abilities into a power?

Except you have ppl ignoring the obvious reasons people would want to use the skins OUTSIDE of volume. Even if the skin sounded identical, that were-elk skin having a different model and unique mori is gonna get more attention than a your average different outfit. In the case with this new iron maiden skin... The thing plays guitar sounds when you M1. Thats kinda awesome.
Again this is true, but if you're referring to the others users you've spoken to in thread, they are right in pointing out that the use rates of these skins skyrocket whenever they're broken.
Obviously people buy these cosmetics because they like the aesthetic, and then get demonized when they just wanna use their nice skin. I remember getting cussed out for playing Glitchtrap on launch when his footsteps were overly quiet when I just wanted to hear the cool laugh he makes.
It doesn't really change the fact that the majority of people that buy them flock to these skins whenever they do cause issues for their source character and leave whenever the problem is fixed.
Since BHVR has seemingly forgone playtesting in favor of just releasing Eddie broken, they kinda walked into the accusation that this pattern is a result of them catering to that audience, though I don't believe that is the case in the end. Imo, they probably just biffed it the way they normally do.
@LordGlint said:

Sidenote... there actually is survivor equivalent, lol. We have several skins that change the character and thus voicelines. Michonne for example has a Maggie skin, Dustin has an Eddie skin, ect. Thats very similar to what's happening here with an Anna skin that stops being Anna.
I wouldn't call this more equivalent than your original comparison back to base survivor noises honestly.
You won't say "I wanna play a quieter version of Cheryl's kit" and then pick James Sunderland, you'd pick Ada or Ace or whoever because you just want a quieter survivor. The addition of a new survivor skin, ignoring perks, is gameplay wise the same thing as adding a new survivor.
Conversely, you won't say "I wanna play a quieter version of Huntress" and then pick Ghostface, you'd pick Were-Elk/Eddie currently.
While you are right that these issues are similar, I'd say meta survivors and their most drastic differences have been around much longer, whereas getting meta variants specific of killers (outside ig addons?) is a newer, less common, and thus more jarring experience.
I do still hope we get survivor audio evened out eventually, but I don't think it's wrong for survivor players to be raising a stink over these killer skins being broken when they pop up.

It IS abit of selective outrage though. Its pretty common knowledge that different SURVIVORS are also different volume levels. Obviously ppl arnt using Ace for his perks, but I wouldn't go as far as to accuse everyone who plays him of being sweaty and "abusing" how quiet he is. While sure you probably have some people who pick their survivors and cosmetics to squeeze every advantage they can, alot of ppl are just using what they think is cool.
This is true, but the difference is there's not really a base "this is how a survivor should sound" character. There are notable characters like Ace and Ada that most people caught on to being quieter than others, and the devs should obviously raise the volume on these characters, but there's always going to be some expected variety when it comes to the survivor cast.
Huntress always sounds a certain way, so when cosmetics come out that make her variants noticeably harder to face, I think it makes sense that it ruffles a few more feathers.
-
The skin lacking bells & whistles is one thing, but having literally the exact same problems as the last Huntress Visceral is the exact kind of baffling disappointment that often holds this game back.

Totem builds are in and Jason is great at defending them? The devs must have timed this to torment survivors! The event gives many powerful effects to survivors whilst hardly giving the killer anything? You just know this was the devs sending us killer mains a message.
Everything is evidence of a vendetta. Every change is made with malicious intent. The devs are nefariously scheming about how to make your matches worse this very second. This legitimately feels like the attitude of half the people here.

Not letting Springtrap disable his axe and go m1 only with certain add-ons was a massive mistake. They could tweak his power to be much more camera focused and enable both play styles much better, but instead to play Afton you need to use the axe no matter what. It's just annoying.

It's sad to see no midchapter after getting so many high maintenance announcements. We know what the team is currently spending its time on, but it doesn't change that we've been getting table scraps worth of balances changes, and the little tweaks we do get are the usual amount of controversial among the wider community.
I hope next year focuses itself more on the current cast than adding new members to it. Plenty of killers need minor changes to be brought up to current level or have pain points facing or playing as them addressed to just make the game more fun.

It's a shame because Pinhead is not only one of the best adapted characters in the game, but has one of the mosy unique play styles out of any killer.
I hope he does get readded eventually, but the NFT debacle is what I feel probably soured Barker on the DBD Collab. Hopefully in a few years after the new game has come out and made its money BHVR will be able to renegotiate to get Pinhead back, maybe with a Deep Throat skin?

This game boils the blood, and attracts people who can't control themselves.

I've just been playing Regular Queue and accepted waiting a little longer for matches. The reduced cakes just make me sad.

A fellow From watcher! We absolutely need Boyd and the rest of the cast in DBD, it'd be such a natural inclusion!
I don't wanna say any spoilers, but there's also a fantastic option for Killer. If someone out there reading hasn't seen the show, please check it out!

It's an original cosmetic for an original character. I'm not informed enough on indigenous culture or regalia to warrant taking a stance on that front, but idk why it isn't at least available for shards to begin with by nature of being unlicenced, even if it is how things have been for awhile.

(Soldier 76 voice line plays)
"ive got you in my sights"
If they really wanted to make Art scary they'd give him Roadhog hook 1.0

A once per trial use ability where he pulls a Tommy Gun out of nowhere and starts blasting survivors away would make my heart flutter, though obviously introducing a hitscan rapid fire weapon into the game would be an entire process I imagine.

The whole controversy over whether AI was used in the music video (think it was established that it was just bad cg) was already embarrassing, but this is unacceptable behavior from a partner affiliate imo
It's the 10 Year Anniversary Livestream, of course people are going to stream it. There were Streamers/Fog Whisperers attending the event in person that got to be interviewed (shout-out my man Paulie Esther).
If Ice Nine Kills doesn't want people using footage of their low quality maybe ai slop music video, tell them to release the damn thing themselves and keep it out of the Anniversary Stream. I had no opinion of them before but think little of them now.

Anybody complaining about a Jason spike need to face more huntresses
Exactly. A good Huntress will make the game feel like an interactive cutscene where you watch your entire team get dispatched by Agent 47.

… Right having access to a fully charged hatched all the time at a much faster rate is totally not great for zoning and being 115 movement speed also totally does not make it easier and less skill based than huntress. I don't think I'm capable of making an argument you like so hope you have a good day.
Jason needing to reload between each shot is already such a massive difference between them, Huntress can down 3 survivors and get an injury before needing to find a locker.
