Jason should be the new standard
For bloodpoint gains.
He has a very good BP gain, which is one of the reasons I love him so much. The way he generates points, should be the new baseline for killers. This way, even when you have a bad match, it doesn't feel that bad because at least you get a good amount of points. Now compare that with other killers:
The worst offender: Plague
She basically gets nothing. Her power gives very little points when hitting survivors and basically zero when infecting objects. That is her deviousness, her brutality is even worse. 300 points when she damages a survivor with her power and the same 300 when hitting. But since survivors don't cleanse, she is stuck with the 300 per down. Jason gets 500 brutality AND 500 deviousnes PER HIT with his spear, so a down is 1k each. THAT is a strong gain. So Plague is basically at the mercy of survivors when it comes to BP gain.
So I would propose something like this: For every X amount of time spent injured due to infection, the plague gains a certain amount of points. Zero effect on her gameplay, but would make her more attractive to play for people that want some points.
Bubba & Billy
Are also pretty bad. They get a good amount of deviousness per down, but only the regular 300 brutality. So if you down survivors with your chainsaw a lot, you get so little brutality.
Ghostface for example gets 500 when he downs someone with his instadown. That is better.
Singularity gets 600 per hit when he slipstreams. Very nice.
Just some examples, but I think older killers should get looked at, the discrepancy between point gain is huge. And new killers should all be similiar to Jason, he feels actually rewarding to play thanks to this.
I hope the devs think the same way, but let's see. Survivors could get some changes too, but I don't have any ideas off the top of my head right now. The last BP gain buffs were very nice for survivors, so I am not sure if they need it. (I now get to 35k to 40k pretty regularly as Survivor, it feels very good in my opinion)
What you think?

Yeah I agree, BP events need to be added to more interactions. This also goes for survivor perks, we still don't have BP Events for:
-Wiretap
-Mirrored Illusion
-Pebble (I think)
among others, I just think the game could feel a bit more rewarding for using abilities/perks
Did this seriously get 5 downvotes with no feedback? Did people really just see Jason get praised in the title and immediately click on it just to downvote, not realizing OP is talking about bloodpoints? Like seriously?
On topic, I agree, Jason's bloodpoints generation feels very on point, and it feels like the devs took previous complaints about killer releases into account for him. They should continue shooting for about this level in the future.
Yes! Good idea! Makes playing Off-Meta perks feel more rewarding!
Yeah I guess people get so triggered by Jason that they don't even read further than the title. Ah well, it is how it is.
Yes, comparing Jason to older killers feels like night and day. Old killers like Trapper need to prolong the game as long as possible to get decent points, while Jason gets so much points in a very short time. Makes playing the oldies feel very unrewarding.
Upvoting just for title to post transition.
Yeah BP gains need to be rejusted for everyone. The incentives when first came out was x2, x3, x4 maybe x5 now it's barely going past x1.5 and BP gains for just playing needs to be much higher losing a game and getting only maybe 12,000 feels horrible but if gains were far higher say got 30k the loss wouldn't feel so bad.
But knowing how stingy the devs have been with BPs only reducing the amount we get it's only gonna feel like we're just wasting our time.
There's definitely a bunch of killers that need a bloodpoint pass. For example, ghost face gets bonus brutality when he insta downs but hillbilly and leatherface do not, resulting in them often getting far less bp per match. Similarly, sadako gets really low BP from killing survivors with her mori for hook states. Myers also could use more BPs when instadowning, and a bunch of others i can't think of right now.
On the survivor side, they should really do a pass to just give you passive BP in every category while you are being chased. Like, if you are getting chased you get some percentage of BP for each teammate doing a gen, or saving a teammate, or whatever. As well as increasing score events for survivability so you have more ways to get it.
They should also probably increase the BP you get for completing gens, right now if you unhook 2 teammates you basically have full BP in that category, should be similar for gens where completing a gen gets you half a bar.
Only for bloodpoints? ;-)
Anyways yes, up the ante for the less fortunate killers.
Necro (kind of) my own post.
And after thinking about it, I have the opinion that the overall BP gain should either be increased in regluar intervals, or older things need to get cheaper. The way it is currently, newer players need to spend a ridicilous amount of time to catch up on perk unlocks and with every DLC release the problem gets worse. Not sure what the best approach would be, but something needs to be done.
And also, holy crap is Lich bad at generating brutality points. Injures with his skeletons don't give brutality, only deviousness… In general it is a bit weird that most killers are loooong maxed on deviousness (The only actual exception being nurse, since she has basically a 1:1 ratio of brutality to deviousness) while they are like a third done with brutality. And Henry has a hard time getting chaser points, since often he stays out of range for the system to detect a chase, so he just gets hits/downs without ever initiating a chase. Maybe needs some looking into aswell.
Would be cool to get some feedback from the devs what they think of this. Since it has no impact to gameplay as it is only about bloodpoints, I am sure there would be no harm in buffing a few killers (and survivors in some aspects aswell).
