Ds needs to turn off if the killer hooks another surv, at the least.
This would make the perk entirely useless. The killer could just tunnel and slug you and then down and hook the unhooker and your DS would be gone.
The perk is fine as it is imo, and I don't even use it anymore because 9/10 games it is just a wasted perk slot.
Also as killer I don't see any problem, I try not to tunnel and when I run into the unhooked person again, I just slug them (one person on the ground and one busy picking them up while I go for someone else means 3 people not doing gens, which is perfect) or sometimes just eat the ds if I have enough pressure anyway, so I don't have to deal with it anymore.

Absolutely, because they were trying flashlight saves too. Oh, the game after that, everyone was running a flashlight, so I used franklins to screw their day up., The point here is there are too many tools for survivors to be bullies, which is idiotic in a horror game. Then there's the fact that a level 10 should NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be going against red ranks. Someone like me is only going to take so much BS before dealing it back out.
You are aware about the rift challenge where a survivor has to blind the killer while he's carrying a survivor?
Also when I play killer I'd rather see 4 flashlights than 2 toolboxes. Flashlights have easy counter and you can even bait them if you fake to pick up a survivor or just check before picking up if someone is near. You'll most likely get easy hits. Flashlights themself are nothing toxic. Just learn how to efficiently play against a group of flashlight users. Because it is different than playing against toolbox users who just rush gens.
-
I think it would be too strong against solo survivors. Blindness does not do that much against swf, but against solos it already can be pretty strong. A combo with oblivious would be pretty bad for solo survivors imo.

I can't imagine that we would ever put this in the game, due to the fact people would end up just blocking players that were better than them and beat them in game. Something similar has happened in the past and I can't see that they would ever want that to be repeated.
But what about a list where you can only add a maximum of five people? That way it would be possible to avoid certain players, but due to the small amount it would most likely not affect the game or matchmaking in general. And people would probably think through who they add to that list and not adding people to it just because they were better.

What pressure can you add when you are busy eating a 4 second stun with no scratch marks or blood to pick up the trail with when you finally do injure a survivor. Real great 🙄
Literally none. Survivors can even finish a gen in your face or open the gates while you're busy with eating that 4 second stun and can't do anything to stop them. Legion is like old Freddy imo...

For me the Doctor is by far the most annoying to go against. Also Hag can be kinda annoying sometimes.

Numb. That's a good word for it. Maybe when that wears off I'll be in the fight again... but for now I just can't. I want a full rework and a removal of DW from there power... I've been fighting for months and eating a ban in the process, fighting to keep my threads of Legion rework ideas alive through forum bugs and everything else. I just can't anymore, not right now.
I never understood why they connected their power to DW anyway. There are so many issues if there is a killer power, which is the same as a survivor perk (BT), who came even up with that idea in first place? I think Legion needs something individual and not a power which must also be balanced along to other perks...
I always saw how dedicated you fought for Legion and when you got banned I really was afraid to never see you around here again. I was really glad when you were back. But I think I also can relate how you feel... And it is better to take a break from this game and maybe even the forums, until this numbness fades. Because having this "feeling" is not healthy at all...Maybe you'll find new energy or motivation when some time has passed...take your time and take care bro. You are not alone with this.

I can't believe you did it. Good job. You have successfully made me lose all faith in BHVR and any hope that you listened to your community. All of this feed back and what do we get? The Deep Wound Changes... the Legion getting all that taken from them with just some movement speed to try and make up for it... even the Oni nerf in a small way, since you gave him no time to settle in like you said you would. Giving Legion the movement speed while removing all threat of Deep Wound... what? It's like you are giving us maggots to eat and expecting us to be happy cause "At least it's something." Are we supposed to be happy about the movement speed cause "At least it's something"? All these "Buffs" are just nerfs you slapped on Legion for no reason and are reverting. The Add-on changes are negligible.
Survivors can get hit with Feral Frenzy and just run around. Something that is supposed to be them bleeding out from a wound deep enough they have to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding... and they can run around no problem. Survivors run around anyway in matches so this is literally harmless, it's basically a free health state. You didn't even reduce Deep Wound Timer, You didn't even revert the reduction to mend times... You made Legion even weaker, cause none of you know how to handle their power or the Deep Wound mechanic which was flawed to begin with. You couldn't just replace Deep Wound. No, you just made Legion's power literally a punishment to ever use. You made walking after people and M1ing the best strategy.
So yea.... You did it. You made me give up. You killed The Fanatical Legion Main. Congratulations. I no longer want to play. I no longer want to support this game at all.
I totally can relate how you feel right now. First, I was so hyped for the new chapteer but when I read about the planned legion changes on the ptb the hype was almost gone. When I read the actual patch notes yesterday, I felt nothing but disappointment. I didn't even wanted to start the game (and I'm a survivor main btw and don't play killer much), but seeing my most favourite killer, who already was the weakest, getting gutted entirely, literally depressed me.
Usually I play every single day and I always look forward to it, but yesterday I just felt numb. For me this is probably the most disappointing patch that ever was released. Not even because of the nerfs themself, but for the fact that they seriously nerfed the weakest killer with the most useless power in the whole game.
I can see why they did these changes, but implementing them without buffing Legion first is just not fair. That he's slightly faster does not make up to it at all. He needs more buffs. Actually all I want is old Legion. The moonwalk exploit is gone, good perks don't work on him anymore, deep wound is useless, so they could at least give him back the multiple stabbing and reduced stun time and he still wouldn't be overpowered, because he never was.
However, it really hurts me to read that you want to give up. I could understand, the whole thing is just depressing, but I hope you'll still keep fighting with us. Maybe one day they will buff legion again. I really hope they will. And I hope you will be here when they do.

I was so hyped during the last few days but now I feel nothing but disappointment...
-
Depends on the role I played. As survivor I mostly feel neutral, sometimes happy/satisfied.
As killer I mostly feel stressed out and exhausted. There is a lot more pressure as killer than as survivor imo. That's why I enjoy playing survivor more.
(for record I am red rank survivor and yellow/green rank killer and for me killer is still more stressful than survivor on these ranks)
-
I have the same problem, but the other way around. As red rank survivor I keep getting rank 9-7 killers who facecamp and tunnel me to death a lot.
I guess it has something to do with the dedicated servers. They kinda also brought a form of regio lock with them and you'll get matched with people in your region who are available. That's what I think happens and an other reason why I don't like the servers.
-
As a survivor I'm always more than thankful if the killer does not use their mori at the first opportunity possible.
Getting tunneled from beginning and mori'd in the first 3 minutes always feels like beeing completely robbed of time and the game. But I also ran in a few killers who only used their mori after 2nd hook or sometimes at the end of the game. These killers have my whole respect. They show that they really have skill and that a game still can be enjoyable for everyone, even with a mori. They really eaned it and even the survivors can enjoy the showed animation.

Nea will always be my only waifu even though I'm probably alone with this opinion. But idc.
I don't really like Yui's face in game. She looked great in the trailer, but in game she looks a little strange imo.

The hitboxes and delay are way worse than in a 200ms ping killer lobby.
I have constantly 30-40ms ping to dedicated servers, but get hit after vaulting pallets, through closed walls and by hatchets flying through walls or clearly missed me. It wasn't that bad before, but now I know I will get hit through windows if I can't make at least 4 or 5 steps away from them after vaulting.
My most favourite moment was on haddonfelt, where I jumped from a window on second floor, hit the ground, balanced landing activates and then I got hit by the clown, who was still standing at that window on second floor.
Never experienced something like that ever before.

You are hopeless. It is stated that it is reportable. Working with killer/ not playing game as intended. What you listed is not.
I just posted a video earlier of the stream where the devs themself stated that beeing a friendly killer it is not bannable.
But if you want to believe, I am not going to destroy your dreams. Keep reporting, I honestly don't care.

Again my statement is true if someone reported it that means their experienced was ruined. No matter how you spin it it is reportable what bhvr does from there is on them.
True, I could also report tunneler or facecamper because they ruined my experience. But nothing would happen because it is not a bannable offense. Same for farming killers. You could report for anything, but thank god bhvr will not ban anyone for things that are not bannable.
The only thing that happens is that it fills the queue and reports regarding truly bannable offenses are probably getting delayed.

You can report basically anything, but nobody will get banned if it was not a bannable offense. Farming is not a bannable offense, so nobody will get banned for that. It would be bannable if the killer keeps one survivor slugged for example to prevent them from getting any points. Basically griefing.

The source? The game itself man it's called working with a killer.
No. Working with the killer is if you show the killer where the other survivors are, sandbag them on purpose for the killer to get them. It is basically what they mentioned in the video that I linked a few seconds before the time stamp I used, in case you want proof.

Sadly, it's never possible to make everyone happy but this is a start.
The notes part doesn't have to be there, both sides could still get the same notes, same lore. I just put that part there because I felt Casual should have specific downsides but I get the notes also don't mean much it's the more casual part of the rift (just a cool side thing to obtain), I just couldn't think of many other things to make a difference between the modes.
But Expert Mode would be meant to be super challenging, people upon choosing expert should know what they are getting themselves into at that point it'd be their fault for choosing a path that could lead to toxicity and whatnot. However, before choosing what mode you do, you'd be allowed to see the challenges in each mode to better see whether you want to or not. There are people who don't want the challenges changed as they are in Tome Level 3 right now, so basically they don't seem to care for toxic or unhealthy gameplay if they really want the challenges to be like this.
The problem is even if I want to have normal games and choose the casual mode, I'd still have to play with people who choose hardcire mode. So I'd still have to deal with unhealthy gameplay, even thought I didn't sign up for it.
To avoid that completely, the player base would need to be split up, which would probably result in long matchmaking times.
As additional reward I could imagine getting more rift fragments maybe? The rift is really grindy, so maybe leave the rewards for casual like they are now and increase for hardcore?
It's a difficult topic in general.
-

TBH though, I'd actually rather slug someone and let them get healed if they just got off a hook. And, not just instantly, I mean a good 10 seconds after the unhook.
Some might call it farming, but I see it more as an anti-tunnel thing.
I actually find it WAY more fun to toy with survivors, rather than rush killing them. Survivors have also thanked me and said it was an extremely fun game too. Maybe more killers should adopt this approach.
Exactly this is what a good game feels like for both sides :)
-
Tbh I don't really like this because people who play casual will still be missing lore and maybe feel disadvantaged if they want to complete the lore, but also don't dare to try expert mode due to possible lack of time.
I'd be all in for higher bp rewards, but anything else could still cause the same problem and not solve anything imo.
And there would still be a lot of people who chose expert mode, and with challenges like unhooking a lot of survivors or hook multiple survivors in the basement at same time, the problem about toxic gameplay would also still be there.
I see where you are coming from, but I don't think it is possible to make everyone happy anyways.
-
Well, it got my upvote and I'm a survivor main, so...
I don't get what farming has to do with toxicity.
-
No. From time to time I really enjoy rounds like this, especially if they are funny.
It is not bannable. If you don't want to farm, just rush the gens and leave.

You really don't get how anti-consumer all this is.
No, I don't get how anti-consumer it is to be able to unlock almost 90% of all skins and DLCs literally just by playing the game.
-
But still it should be possible to complete a challenge by your own action and not be 100% dependent on what the other party or teammates are doing. Like unhook 2 people during EGC. First you have to activate EGC, while there still are people alive who can be hooked again. They must be hooked, not you. You must be the one to unhook them, not any other teammate.
It is almost impossible, even when playing with one friend. As soon as you have one random in the group, this challenge is almost impossible, because they will most likely also help to unhook.
Even beeing able to choose different challenges to work on wouldn't help that much, because it is still frustrating if someone wants to collect all the story parts and can't, because of an completely luck based challenge.
And there are people like me, who have a full time job. I still manage to play about 2-3 hours a day, sometimes more on weekends, and I just finished the 1st killer challenge and half of the first survivor challenge. I certainly do not know how you managed to get so much challenges in 6 hours done. I'm red rank survivor and green rank killer, but alone to unhook 25 survivors takes a lot of time if you don't want to throw the whole game over a challenge.
Challenges should be challenging, but not completely frustrating. Also, not everyone has the same skill level than you have. There are a lot of people who have difficulty to blind killers at all. Imo every player should be able to complete these challenges and they should not be balanced towards red ranks, but rather to the average skill of the whole player base.

DING-DING-DING! This game costs $20 and has a crapton of paid DLCs.
...which all still have nothing to do with the skins.
You pay for the game. To play it. It has to be programmed, updated, continuous development, new content, bug fixes, balance, servers, growing,...
Most DLCs are available for shards. Only the licensed one cost real money, because, guess what, licenses cost money.
Skins are made additionally. They literally have nothing to do with the DLCs.

"Devs Are Greedy".
AKA Having to pay their artists to make the stuff they constantly churn out.
FWIW: I've heard it'll be 21600 Shards @OP.
Sadly a lot of people don't want to pay for art. There are so many people asking for free art because they do not acknowledge the work.
In the store are a lot of skins available for shards, which basically is "for free" if you play a lot. But people still want them for less.
I think it is totally fine how it is now.
-
Thank god, I was so happy to read this!
A lot of these challenges are just frustrating, pure luck and have nothing to do with actual skill or anything.
I'm so glad there is even a chance they gonna be changed.
-
Especially saying "ez" as a rank 4 to a rank 10.
Do they seriously feel that good and incredible when they survived against someone 6 ranks below their own "skill" level?
That's just pathetic.
-
I just would delete the challenges based on luck and how other people play (like unhooking 2 survivors during EGC). Or probably make them as "side-challenge", but not as one required to proceed in the tome.
Also I'd like to select more than only one challenge to work on.
I'm okay with thinks like break 40 gens/pallets or unhook 25 survivors safely. These challenges might take a while, but you can be sure to be able to complete them during regular gameplay.
But I really do not like these luck based challenges. We should be able to archive these challenges during normal gameplay, and not be encouraged to hide in a locker the whole game in order to escape without beeing hooked once...
-
Yesterday I already helped a trapper to get his 5 traps in the end, because I would have been dead anyway. He let me go and thanked me like 10 times in the chat.
I like the idea and I think we all should help each other a little. Not necessarily with farming, but with a pretty normal game and in the end, when nothing really matters anymore anyways, might as well do the other one a favour.
-
actually I'm really happy about the planned changes.
With the current state, red ranks get mixed with yellow or brown ranks, which is the worst.
I'm a red rank survivor and a green rank killer. Everytime rank reset happens, you get mixed with teammates who are scared of the killer, crouching in the corner while you run the killer for 3 minutes and no single gen gets done and they probably won't even unhook you or the killers facecamp. It is the most frustrating thing in the whole game for both sides imo. As killer I don't even dare to play for one week after rank reset, because I know for a fact that it would only frustrate me to a point I don't want to play killer at all anymore, if I have to face former red ranks.
Such a huge difference of experience should not be mixed. I really look forward to the rank reset changes, so I finally can play with people who have about the same experience level like I have.
For the adept killer archivements, I think they should change the requirement to a 4k anyway. It already is broken, but I don't think it should influence the rank reset, since rank reset is part of the whole game experience and I don't think a few archivements are worth to destroy the experience in general.
-
That's why I wish there was something in the lobby, telling the killer how many swf people are in there....
I have stopped counting how many times I got tunneled to death and mori'd, because a killer thought he's going against a full strong swf team, while I only played solo or with one friend.
It's frustrating and some killers even apologised in the chat after realizing they assumed wrong.
An indicator in the lobby would not only help the killer prepare, but also help the survivors not to go against the strongest builds and "sweatiest" killers when playing solo.
-
As far as I know it is not bannable.
The stated in a stream once that they think "nice" killers are weird, but it is not bannable.
(I'm at work rn so I can't look up the link, but the video is on youtube still)
You are not holding the game hostage and the survivors are not even forced to farm with you. They can go anytime they want, so I don't think anything about it is bannable.
But what would be bannable is, if you'd prevent one specific survivor from participating in the farming and getting any bloodpoints. Like targeting that one survivor and keep them slugged while the others do gens or unhooks, etc. If you actively and on purpose hinder one person in getting points, it could be bannable as far as I know.
-
Iron will. Killers get so much information from sound alone, it is hard to mindgame or even hide if injured. I started to use it to counter Spirit better and now I almost always use it. Also balanced landing, but after it will get nerfed I might not use it anymore. It will be too situational.
-
They will nerf BL in the next update anyway, so this should be solved soon...
-
I think logically she should have a stun.
She only does not have collision with survivors, which she can't see. But she still has collision with her surroundings. She can't phase through walls or anything.
-

I really enjoy playing Legion because of their design. I just wish that they would buff their base power in duration, movement speed, cool down, and recovery. I just don't know what the numbers should be I know the recovery should be shorter and not be negated for m1ing survivors and the cool down should lower than 4 seconds. Maybe they should make frenzy 12 to 15 seconds and recovery about the same.
But this is if they don't want to rework them entirely.
Thats basically all i wish for, since the big nerf happened.
-
From lore standpoint it might be, but from reality standpoint, where we are all just human beeings who enjoy playing the same game and probably just want to have fun, it is not imo.
-
Other reason: even though hes by far not the strongest, hes still super fun to play and you don't have to use Nemesis or BoP if the changes go live if u don't want to play like that. There are still other perk builds that will still work on him.
-
The main thing that gives me unfair feeling hits are dedicated servers tbh...
It's true, sometimes as survivor I get hit even when I'm standing behind the killer and he faces the other direction, but auto aim on the other side also has taken hits that should have connect.
I had one game where this problem accured a few times. I was right behind the survivor, but while hitting the camera suddenly moved to the side and made me hit objects instead. This happened about 6 times in that one game...

Spirit and Nurse's power is still a hit because it has no side effects and it is still and m1. Plague should get stacks when hitting a survivor with her m1(just like she does), and not get stacks when she uses Corrupt or Vile Purge (like she does).
Still doesn't make sense to me. When Legion uses frenzy, you still have to hit them with m1, like every other killer does. Frenzy is just running and vaulting, but to hit, you need to m1.

All killers have unique powers, but they share the same aspects. That is like, written on the first line of the tutorials
So it is fair that nurse gets stacks after teleporting through walls and hitting you, spirit gets stacks after phasing at you, hag gets stacks after porting at you, Plague gets stacks after hitting an infected survivor, but Legion, who can't even down anyone with his power, shouldn't?
Doesn't really make any sense for me but well...
If you use the killer ability and hit someone right after, you get this hit with help of that ability. Even the game knows, since you get extra points for that. The only difference for Legion is that he's getting hits during his ability, but therefor it does not do much and the main use is to get information and buy a little time (which got nerfed to 12 seconds now).
-
The 4 second stun time is ridiculous, especially as punishment for missing one hit. 3 seconds would be enough.
Tbh I just want old Legion back with the deep wound change that it does not go down in the TR. That was literally the only thing that was really bad about him.
-

Look, I like legion to play as, but the reason he got the massive ass nerf is that it was super unfun to play against because he would break chase then just let you bleed out without getting a chance to do anything to counter it. You can't mend or he caches up, you can't run or he just bleeds you out. The was no counterplay.
Thats why the only nerf, that was ever needed, is the deep wound timer not going down in the TR.
Every other change they did on him, and there were many, were completely unnecessary imo.
