Some killer games, you promise to never play again, but 5 hours later you still havent put down the controller....
I love this game, flaws and all. Its the players that makes your hair grey, not the game. The days I dont have the time to play dbd, I go to bed feeling empty inside. Haha, and this is horribly sad. You have no idea how I happy danced when I saw the new cosmetics today, having saved my cells for the golden winged meg hoodie. Beautiful in game. No other game gets me like that when I need to spend money on it.
We all love it, deep down. Even the crybabies. -
Ofc it depends on the build, but I do love dance with me. It is my new fave. Countless times you see the poor killer look around in panic to see where you went. Like magic if you use it right. Before that, I guess premonition.
On killer I do love brutal strength. -
I joined a friend on rank reset day, and played for some time, ranking up from 19 to 14. When he left, I went to the start menu and the rank reset signs came up again, putting me back on 19 again, as if I never had ranked up. Fun day.
Not complaining, because 15-10 on ps4 is horrible. Everyone dc constantly. But it was a similar thing to what happened to you, progress went missing. Back on 1 now, but poor Tapp, he worked so hard. -
No, this happens. I used a bloody ps with a friend, but got dc and it said the killer did it. He on the other hand was in the game playing. Few weeks later it happened again, but the other way around.

- Vaulting a window in killer shack / crouching behind rocks.
- As I was vaulting during a chace, I got stuck in the window and all of a sudden I was stuck in a trap elsewhere. Was hiding behind a roch i the middle of the map as he downed someone else, all of a sudden I was downed, but he was hooking the other survivor on my screen.

- I chased a claudette but she got away. Moments later I found her running towards the chapel and before she could vault into it, I downed her but she disappeared. Found out after match she had been working on a gen with others and all of a sudden she was down. Later in the match I tried to hook her a final time but every time I tried we were sliding away. Tried 6-7 times, different hooks. Had to step in my own trap to drop her, and then she dc, but on her screen it showed that I was the one to dc, but I was finishing the match by taking out the last survivor. This match is on video from her side.

This happens all the time. You get hit and the killer is on your side of the pallet, but the he slides back to the other side and has to break the pallet. Played killer today, and chased a survivor (i thought) and downed him, only to have him magically disappear. Turns out this poor survivor was working a gen when this all happened and all of a sudden he was downed next to the gen. The others there could heal him, but it was the weirdest thing.
We all had green connection, and we got a good laugh after, but as it happened it was all strange. Then I could not hook the guy, kept sliding away from the hook everytime I tried. Had to walk into my own trap to be free.
It happens weird things now. -
Find it more fun these days to run perkless as survivor. It really makes the game more exiting and I survive more now.
I am ashamed as a survivor main how the community treats the devs with the review bombing, because honestly, it is not the end of the world. But I never used SB as a main perk so..... -
Survivor main too and I like the changes. It has not affected my style of play one bit. So I find it more fun now.

Lithe, as always. That wont change. I never liked sprint burst, since the other works better in combo with other perks.

Ofc more people will play trapper or hag now, just like when new killers are released. No surprise there. Nice change from hillbilly all the time. It will settle down as always....

I play to have fun, my future doesnt depend on me killing one person. I like the chase, the fun of finding the survivors. I do not play to stare at someone or just stand still, because I am pretty sure there are cheaper ways to do that, I would never spend money on a game where I camp, and miss the whole point, never ever.
So if they live, they live, I just move on to the next. Why should I see that someone only got a couple thousand points and had a ######### time, so that I could feed my own ego. Makes no sense to me.
But whatever floats someones boat I guess, it is not against the rules, just saying that I would never pay for a game to do that. -
I dont run ds myself, but some survivors wrote and called me a cheater as killer because they hit ds and nothing happened. So it might be bugged, but I cant say for sure.

So why have other killers if nurse is the only one working? And isnt this like saying all survivors should stop whining over camping or quit the game?
Many swf groups are to killers what camping and tunneling is to survivors. What this game really needs, is ofc some balance, but most of all, its players need to stop being #########, and actually play the game as if, surprise, another human being is playing with you. But until then, just deal with everything, hopeless as it is sometimes and go to another lobby after and cross your fingers for a better game. And have fun and chill, dont let them ruin your game. -
Don't have a stare off. If survivor finds it, let it go, dont let your pride keep you from moving on to a new game.
And the logic of thinking one survivor shouldnt have the option of the hatch because they faild and died, isnt that like saying why should killers who cant get the job done get to rely on NoED.
It is what it is. Both sides have crutches. I see no problem at all with either. Be the bigger man/woman and end the match, let them have the hatch. I had to leave spectate mode because while I got coffee and went to the bathroom, they still kept staring. Just dont let pride ruin your time. -
Lag switching happens many times on ps4. It is the other hacks I think we are pretty safe from, but lag switching is common.

It happens. And sometimes it stars with 3, but you end up being 4 when the game starts, but that fourth person cant be seen on the list in the end. Like a fairy helper who was never really there

It is sad that people use swf to hurt the game. I love this game because I can play it with my best friend, and that is what got me into the game, that I am now obsessed with. We are on ps4, but have never talked as a party in it. It is a horror game, and I love being scared when I run into a trap or someone has monitor.... Without the scare factor, it is just a game about over and over repairing generators, and that sounds, well.....
I play single, maybe 60% of the time, but I really would hate to lose the swf time I have with my friend.
As a killer, I know these groups that take advantage, and they really take alot of the fun from playing killer. But then again, a troll will be a troll no matter if they are alone or not.
Hopefully the part about making killers perks a secret will happen, I think that could change alot.
But it doesnt really matter what game you play, there will always be people out there who tries to ruin it. Sad really, because it is good fun playing with your friends in dbd. -

But now I find myself stuck on dbd, and I have no clue why. -
Puppers and Hybridpanda. They are the most fun to watch. But always Puppers, he is so cute, and he puts the fun and chill into the game. Since I started watching him, my whole mentality as survivor has changed, so I have more fun now, and don't start chanting curses when I get camped. It is a game, and it should be fun, so make it fun instead of boiling over.

It was worth the wait. The clown is amazing to play, probably from watching all the streams, I had so many tips on him, but he is really funny to play. Just happy he isnt as bad as everyone says, so I guess, as always, its all about how you play.
As a survivor main, I dont care about the pallet change, so far it hasnt screwed me over and it is a good change. And the ragequit change is so great now on ps4, finally. I am over the moon with this. *back to the clown, he is everything atm*

It is true. Everything is lost, and we get sent to the main menu so we cant even see the id of the host. It happens several times a day, killers just turn the game off and its all gone.ThePloopz said:I heard differently. BP weekends happen so rearly, what does it matter to you all if other platforms get it too? Does it affect the everyday life so much?
We get the update. We get the dlc. We get 2 bp events. Smile.
I have a million points saved too for the new ones, great, I can spend it on someone else and still have time to collect it again. It is not the end of the world, and being greedy is not an attractive feature. -
Only gen I think. HybridPanda did a RIP video for insta hatchets. So the perk will change completely.

I have been a console player since nintendo 8, I just prefer it for most games. But I love my pc too, but it is mainly for world of warcraft and lol. I tried dbd on my pc, but it just didnt fit my style, probably if I had started on pc I would have liked it more, but now i am used to the ps4 and have waaaay too many hours is it to ever do the change.
People will always think they are superior on things, so why bother. Love the platform that floats your boat and the hell with everyone else. No point arguing about it. -

Well, not only the new players will be in the lower ranks against a nerfed killer. Many players that should be in the higher ranks will stay down there, as they do now.

You have to wonder what loveless childhood they must have had to want people to die and get raped just because they werent as skilled as their ego thought. -
Why is this always a thing? Killers have perks survivors hate, survivors have perks killers hate. We all deal with it. Sometimes you live sometimes you dont, just like sometimes you get a 4 kill and sometimes you stand in a corner hiding from the survivors.
Some players will have tactics that is op to yours, just like its the other way around sometimes.
And just because you say it is not about camping, borrowed time is one of the only chances we have to atleast try and get the camped guy a chance to get some points.
Some perks could use some re work, which they are doing, but otherwise, deal with it. Sometimes a killer is terrible during the whole game only tp rely on no one escapes death in the end, but it is the game. Adapt your gameplay, get creative with what works for you, but dont blame the perks.
Sometimes we win sometimes we lose, easy as that. As many times as we curse at the world, we feel like a god of the entity. Good survivors will survive no matter what perks they use, same as killers. I see perkless killers that get 4 kills without camping or tunneling, so its all about how you play the whole game, and not what perks he or she uses. If there are 4 ds, it is annoying as hell, but once they are gone, they are gone, and then they only have 3 perks left. It is not the perks fault, just the randomness on what skilled players you are paired up with. -
However frustrating the situation is now, everyone deserves their holidays. Life is more important than any game.

I have done p3 on all survivors but Tapp now, he is p1. That's how long we've been waiting, haha.
Love this game, so I just keep playing it as always, waiting for that one moment when the ps4 says I have to update to access the game *happy tears*

You almost always pip. And to say that you dont want to do other objectives then to kill, its like survivors saying I just want to escape, but not do gens, run or save. Odd. It is a strategy game, for all of us....

I can't wait for the update, and if we dont get it in the next couple of days, yeah, it will be sad.... But you are acting as if there is no game to play without it. I have saved everything to for the new characters, maxed both, and the shards have been maxed since pc got it. But why are you playing this game? For the ingame currency or updates? I play because I love the game and that does not change only because we dont get the update.
Some people are treating this update like they are waiting for some medical results (been there). It is only a game, not life. And yeah, this is coming from someone who plays it 7 hours a day. More on weekends. We will get it, one bright and sunny day in July, and we will all be happy. But being pissed and dev wont get it faster. Life is to short to be pissed. Its summer, go outside and wait. -
Ðon't care too much about the aura reading. When I first was up against bbq, yeah I thought it was terrible, but as always we adapt and make new gameplay. You know the killer see you for a few seconds, then just pretend to be on your way somewhere and then change direction. I only use bbq when I want to farm some points, but I play Freddie atm so if I were to use it to know where they are, they are long gone when I get across the map.
Empathy is not wrong, because it gives an advantage, plus is helpful when needed. Not everyone runs self care. Survivors have their good stuff, killers have theirs, its all about how you use it.
And look at it from the bright side, with the new changes coming to some perks, maybe some will take other perks off their build that you hate. Cant have it all now can we? -
Puppers taught me the best advice, if 2 gens get done and you are still chasing the same survivor, break off him, he is clearly better than you. The only thing that really gets hurt here is your pride.

This happens so much on ps4 too. Last week killer worked with 2, so when exit gates had power, they blocked both switches so we could do nothing but be farmed. It is an issue, a sad issue. But people cheat and are a$$clowns, its something all games has to deal with.

It's just random. Sometimes you have 3 hooks right next to eachother, and sometimes you just know the survivor will wiggle free and you curse at yourself for not having iron grasp in your build
Hooks are not there to be a crutch to killers. It's like yesterday, I was spawned near the basement and plunders showed me the basement chest and the 2 others were spawned right outside on each side of the killer shack. Or when you run 3 totems and they are all on the same place.
It's random. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you dont. One of the things that makes it fun. -
Noob3 isnt as bad anymore. His streams are full of fails, so I guess he is more "human" now. But on the other hand I only just started watching him, because I never had a reason to before since I know he used to be very toxic, and that is not my gamestyle so I never had an interest in watching him. And I saw one glimpse of Ochido in a HybridPanda video and knew I would never watch him, so I have no thoughts there cuz I never watched a full game with him.
But then again, I am a hardcore Puppers fan, and besides toxic quentin, he's not that bad

Yeah, sorry that it came out wrong. I dont camp them for being good, I love playing against good survivors because not only does it test my skills as killer, but I also pick up things to use myself as survivor. You should never be punished for being good. I dont find any joy in camping, and I play the game to have fun, not to stand and stare at someone. And I know how it is, I am survivor main, so I always want to play fair, that is how I find the game enjoyable.
But with that being said.... I help my brother out when he only get killer dailys, and he just never plays killer like I do. So he is low rank killer, and there are so many survivors that clearly depip to stay in the lower ranks and therefor play their higher rank tactics against the new players and people that might not master the killer part, but still they tea bag all the time and are really toxic. So at that part I can understand why some killers camp, because we all know, the survivors can be real #&€# sometimes.
Its just sad that some killers has to feel like they need to camp, because they do miss out on actually playing a fun game. Because that is what it is, a game, and behind every killer and survivor is a real person, something both sides needs to think about many times.
So if you get camped, enjoy the break, and then join a new game. Hopefully your team can escape and your sacrifice was worth something (kindred) because some days all you do is get camped and tunneled or as for us on ps4, the killers dc because you survive and we get nothing, and some days you will have most matches that makes you remember why you love the game.

Lag Switch is more common, and can be confused with Speed Hacking as the game literally lags your character model if you running so fast it can’t keep up with your placement. Few Lag Switch Killers, several Lag Switch Survivors.
Though I play DBD way too much, so after about 1200 hours I can still safely say it’s extremely uncommon.
4 speed hackers in one game? Wow, yeah, that must have been interesting.
Good to hear that it is uncommon, I play quite a lot too, so that is why I thought it didnt happen because exept lag switching, I have never encountered anything else. Guess we are lucky like that on console.
