well talk when they reverse the twins nerf, but now, no thats all we have going for them
And I'll have to respectfully tell you to get good then if the only way you can win is spam a power until everyone is slugged.

I didn't say he needs his CD removed when he downs someone, just so that he doesn't get kicked, because you did a good play, why would you be punished for it? What's the point then?
It's because the counter to Victor is kicking him. Otherwise, how are you supposed to do anything against Twins? They get a down and now Victor becomes immortal instead of kicking him to make him respawn so you have a chance at reviving the person. Otherwise, he'll just jump on the next person, injuring them and making it impossible to help the survivor who is already on the ground. Would YOU like to get slugged without no way to stop it? Think of it like this. If Oni could activate his power every 5 seconds and keep slamming people, you wouldn't even want to deal with him anymore. You have to look at it from both sides. You don't have enough time to do anything because Victor and his sister can split and do their own thing. It's already bad enough that you have to worry about where his Sister is but seeing Victor down someone, kick Victor in the face and by the time they're at 80% healed, you see his Sister about to slap you in the face. That is IF they aren't spamming Victor respawns over and over again.

Ghostface. If I don't get teabags as him, I'll be upset.
-
I just want more BPs per challenge. 15k-25k is stupid.

Your username is ironic.
It's balance, like all killers should be.

Actually that's not what balance is called, you can't call balance when you are punishing the player after using his power successfully. It's okay to get hit if you miss, but not when you actually hit.
Nah, if you get a down with Victor, you should be able to react to it afterwards. That's like saying once Billy chainsaws someone, they should be able to instantly turn around and chainsaw someone else with no time for them to run.
-
@Maperson said:
Then Victor shouldn't be able to get kicked after successfull hit
No. Every killer needs balance. Victor shouldn't be able to be spammed every second just because someone dodged and kicked him in his little demonic teeth.
-
Just had a match as Doctor. I got head-on'd by a Jane then immediately turned around to go through the corner and got pallet slammed by the same Jane. Took me a second to realize what I did XD
-
Victor needs a 20 second CD for being able to be summoned again like any other killer power and I'd be happy.

Literally just ran a game with a twins player that did this. If Victor downed someone, and someone else crushes him, and he's back up and running only 5 seconds later. Just repeated this ad nauseum until the entire team was slugged. Heck, even if he leaped, missed and was squished, 5 seconds later like clockwork you hear the 'whoosh' and he's back out.
Yep. It's just non-stop.
-
If they let go, you don't grab. If the grab "breaks", its because they let go much sooner on their side than what you saw due to latency.
-
I use to watch it on YouTube years ago and wanted to try it. It seemed really fun and that's what got me into it. I still quite enjoy it to this day but sometimes, I have to take a break from it here and there.

for me its the blood debt challenges
for this challenge I often have to force myself to be hooked then hope someone comes to save (even with kindred some people are too afraid to try to save) then hope my teammate that saved me gets hooked and race to the hook before someone else rescues
like I get that varied challenges are hard to make but in a game where noone would otherwise go down challenges like this are telling me to throw the game to complete it and I feel like its wrong to tell players to do something like that
what challenge is your least fave?
That's the one that I cannot stand. Just finished the 3 that I needed after 11 games as survivor.

Id rather not ,some people are really vicious in DBD matches I've heard some awful things
There is always a mute button but that's what made Friday The 13th so much fun was talking ######### to each other while trying not to be killed lol.

Proximity chat >:D

Definitely agree. I think Chris will be a legendary skin since he's too iconic not to warrant one.

it was always canon because you had to do it to beat the game. It wasn't an optional event you could do during a boss fight to help win, you had to do it.
I've had people in the past trying to say that RE5 wasn't cannon at all because it was too action-packed. That was my point lol. Literal threads about it when capcom use to have forum for it lol.
-
It's not DBD. It's Steam that goes down randomly sometimes. I had No Network Connection today as Wrath and I was letting the last guy go and just before he left, I was kicked for it. Checked Steam and it was down for 3 seconds.
-
I first played when it was first released for console. I was so excited and watched tons of videos on it. It lived up to the hype for me. I was always scared and used to hide in lockers a lot. I remember me and my dude blowing the same gen 8 times, thats when you could get a skill check that was almost impossible to hit. In a span of 10 seconds, we managed to blow the gen 8 times in a row then we said ######### that gen together as if it was the gens' fault lol. Fond memories.
-
AY! Jokes on you! Chris punching that boulder is now CANNON based upon RE8 XD
-
I play both sides but I can't stand playing as the Twins. I don't like spamming Victor until everyone is slugged. Its just boring.
-
My only issue with Nurse is the buff they gave her awhile back after they changed her. She use to only be able to do a small, short swing so you had to be accurate with your blinks. Now she has a normal lunge after blinking so you can be a bit away from a survivor and still hit them. That's what I don't like. Old blinks required you to land almost on top of a survivor to hit them. Now you can be in the ballpark and hit them.
(Edit: changed if to is)
-
Playing as Hag with Dark Devotion then walking up past a gen then grabbing a survivor right off the gen without any effort lol.
-
Billy. He takes a lot of skill to use those turns well around corners and hearing him rawr when getting slapped makes me laugh. Besides, he always looks sad. Gotta give my boy some love here.
-
It's RNG-based. If you get bad RNG as killer plus decent survivors, you might lose. Same goes for survivors, if the RNG is bad with short pallets everywhere against a decent Killer, you'll lose as survivors. Sometimes the server just screws both sides, though XD
-
When I first saw that, I lost it lol. Thought it was really funny lol.

I don't agree on voice proximity and Killer's being able to see whose hooked and how many times.
Seeing the amount of hooks and who was hooked would help with better decision making in the long run. It wouldn't do anything for tunneling since if you're going to tunnel, you won't let that person go anyway but it'll help with general knowledge specially during farming. Voice Proximity so the chases are more interactive or the survivors can say someone is coming (stealth killers).

W H A T, what the heck was that? That sounded like some deep fried crushed soundbyte from a 2003 game
Why BHVR, W H Y?
That took 3 weeks to be fixed when she was released. Let that sink in.

Firstly, you are needlessly aggressive towards people who disagree with you. Seems to be a trend recently.
Secondly, your list:
- Ruin is not even close to the only way to slow the game down. PGTW, Corrupt and Surge can all do the job just fine.
- Undying's aura reveal is useful, but not extremely good. So, I agree.
- NOED is definitely good. Instant downs until the totem is broken in the EndGame? Pretty good.
- Haunted Grounds is 60 seconds of instant downs AND it can protect your other totems, depending on RNG.
- Huntress Lullaby can absolutely screw with players, and it can force them to play more attention to the gens, ignoring their surroundings.
I removed half the list because those perks did not directly relate to game slowdown. The only Hex perks that are actually bad are Third Seal and Blood Favor.
Just because you have trouble winning games and using perks effectively doesn't mean they are bad :)
AY! Blood Favor is good on certain killers! How DARE you lol. Seriously, though. I'm really starting to dig Blood Favor on Bubba. It's pretty priceless XD
-
You're just trying to heal some while being chased. You don't always get away with it but it doesn't hurt to try but you might end up with less distance to get away, though. No, it's not BM. You're just healing. If that's BM then Killers who don't let you wiggle off is BM. Why is that? It's because they're just doing what they're supposed to do. Carry you to a hook. I can't believe people even think that healing yourself is BM.
-
The screaming on certain characters are ear-piercingly loud.
-
Make SB activatable and see how many people use DH then :D Also, SB gives you more speed to dodge the first hit and get distance like DH does. The only difference is, you have to take a hit first to activate it and its not always reliable.

I wasn't aware that space could grab them. I thought you had to tap the attack button?
Yeah, they're right lol. I had a brain fart lol.
-
All she needs is to be able to insta-crouch like GF. That's about it. If you decreased her dash timer, she would just buttride you.
-
Give me 4 perks that just allow double bloodpoints on both survivor and killer and I would ALWAYS run them.

I have no idea how to get this achievement especially since grabs are so inconsistent. I try to time it correctly but it always just ends up being a basic attack. Has anyone managed to get this?
Just farm it. Be nice and swing at your trap but set 2 traps. Pick them up then step in the other so they get free and reset the first trap until you get the achievement but be nice afterwards since they helped you out.
(Edit: To grab, just stand behind them or to the side and just tap the attack button. If you hold it at all, it'll do a lunge instead.)
-
Billy because he can down instantly and has great mobility. Bill because come on, Bill gave his last dying breath to save his team in Left For Dead. Gotta love Pop-Pop.
-
Bloodlust is a helluva drug lol.
-
Make it so when he uses his power the first time, he changes into a survivor that has normal running speed for a very long extended time then clicks his power again to switch to Frenzy but Frenzy is reduced by .2 charges a second faster. This way he can get close to either Frenzy or do a normal health state of damage depending on the situation. It would be a better way of doing it than the current one so he can choose to do normal damage or a frenzy for multiple hits.

So Ayrun basically said that the devs had removed the ability for survivors to hear her footsteps while she's phasing. He said that patch was around a year ago
Why would they do that? I tested it out with a friend in a custom game, and I could not hear the footsteps at all. Also I had them move through tall grass to see if she could atleast interacting with the environment, and she didn't move the grass at all.
How is this fair exactly? I shouldn't need to run Lucky Break + Iron Will to bring her down to a manageable level. This means that Spirit currently is just pure guesswork, I've even tried looking at her shards ranging from low - Ultra graphics, no difference.
I've been saying this for awhile now but people would always say I was wrong. She has NO TELLS. That's what makes her unfun. She doesn't move grass, corn and makes no noise but a hiss.

THE GNOME IS GOD WYM
Oh, he didn't grab the Gnome? Probably didn't know about it. They need to do a better job of saying it to people. A message in the daily or something. You was very kind for helping her, though. Bless you.
-
I let survivors go if I'm playing Hag and they have not much of a chance against me.
-
That's a bit harsh. It's just a game. Get the challenge next time. They wanted the Gnome and you have to SURVIVE to actually receive the reward as a survivor. Killing the person after would have just caused a lot more hate.
-
@NMCKE said:
Pretty simple change, wouldn't remove tunneling and camping, just something to ease frustration.
Remove hook grabs, but increase the unhook time. If the killer is nearby, you as the survivor will be forced to into a trade (unless the killer messes up). At least then, if you're getting camped or tunnelled, you can still be saved and try to survive instead of hanging for two minutes.
As for other or extra solutions, add perks that benefit killer when they aren't camping or tunneling. Since these perks encourage fun gameplay, I wouldn't mind them being stronger than normal perks.
You wouldn't be able to unhook anyone then if the killer hits you first.
