  • It hurts everyone but especially him. Even killers use it and its BS.

  • Didn't see this thread as I made one. THe more the better. This is ridiculous that such an easy way to cheat is just left in the game that can be f ixed.

Oh, I faced a Leon as well and I was unable to perform actions after picking up a person. The Leon proceeded to teabag me as I was unable to fight back at all.

It happened to a Leatherface on a map I can't recall and to a Nurse on RPD.

  • It is 100% hacking. The guy did it again. If a mod could somehow contact me I can tell the name?

  • I am loading into a lobby again with the SAME GUY.....lets see if it happens again....

  • I actually think it might've been the EXACT same person both times. Then the killer will go on thinking I was the one hacking. I gotta wonder how many times people fill out elaborate hacking reports on the wrong person. How will those be dealt with?

  • Did BHVR release this? Where?

Also some of these seem weird. Nurse was 42% on the last data now she is 49%??

How in the world would Deathslinger go up 1% after his nerf?

It also seems like all the top killers down to Trapper dropped by 1% except Trapper increased by 1%.

  • Plague is unusually popular right now. Did someone promote some crazy build or is she getting some type of buff?

  • Just when I thought I was gonna beat Myers again he CLAPS the other remaining person with the tombstone.....and he had no way out....yet another Myers death to the tally. 😐️

I'm not quite sure why some survivors hate farming killers. I personally love playing as and against a farming killer. I enjoy it because if I'm playing as a survivor, and I'm getting back to back face campers and tunnelers all night, it's nice to have an easy break to help me reset my mindset.

Same thing with playing as a farming killer. I like strapping on my bloody party streamers, and letting survivors just chill and farm me, help them get their challenges done, maybe get some pips in. Plus I get to hit them a lot and watch their blood go splat.

The craziest thing is I actually get hate mail from some people for letting them sit there and flashlight me all game or stun me with pallets. I get more endgame messages from that rather than if I just camped all game lol. It's crazy to me the mindset of some people in this community.

I agree, I feel like if I ever got to the point where I couldn't stand farming I would just quit playing. With as many horrible matches that can happy I will gladly take a max points match. Most people seem to think farming takes forever too thats because they don't know how to do it.

Some of those stats surprise me. Five Pyramid Head games in 500 matches. He must be very rare in your neck of the woods.

  • @TheOptimiser said:

I like it when someone posts stats like these cause I do them for myself as well, but mine ones are extremely basic, basically I just count the amount of killers I encounter per 100 matches, maybe should do a depth analysis and include perks and escape rates as well.

What I find interesting from your encounters is the Myers statistic compared to the other ones, you had almost 70% death rate with Myers whilst with all other killers(except Spirit) you had over 50% escape rate... What happened in those Myers matches?

Lol the Myers thing has been part of the storyline of this entire experiment. I think Myers FEELS very balanced to me because at a point he was beating me like 3-1 and I would've never guessed it. I guess losing to him doesn't bother me? I was surprised to see he was kicking my ass.

Then OF COURSE since I realized he has been smoking me he became rare as hell. I was eager to try harder on him to see if I could turn it around. Thats why I listed it as 2-2 this time since he has done so well against me overall.

Spirit also had the same thing happen except early on I had like 4 matches against Spirit with awful teammates throwing the matches. Hundreds of matches later it still taints the results.

  • @GannTM said:

How in the world did you get Spirit 19 times?

Is that a lot? I figured it was not that much considering how much people seem to hate the Spirit.

  • @ImBrakingBike said:

I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere in the middle, definitely nowhere near high MMR but also not a potato. That's probably the reason why I don't get so many S or A tier killers that much, but it's still a strange mix I got there.

It can be a regional thing too, I'd love to know if other South American players are getting these kinds of matches or if they get the more powerful killers more often.

The one thing that's probably an international truth is that almost no one mains the Twins.🤣

One thing I've noticed that is weird is even though I am in North America (Northern USA). I still like 2-3 times a day seemingly end up on the South American server and IDK why it happens. My ping is still good and it happens on both roles. I will suddenly see multiple survivors with obviously Spanish type names. As well as killers with Spanish names.

Don't worry about that guy I'm like 99% sure he's a troll, responds negatively to every post and never has anything of actual value to say

    I was gonna say.

If MMR truly only values escapes then simply having a survival rate of 50.01% or better over time will lead you to the highest MMR.

  • @ImBrakingBike said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2756015#Comment_2756015

I play in the South American server.

I'm noticing more Nurses now than before, but that didn't surprise me because I always read here that they are pretty common killers to face (like Blight, even though I don't see him that much 22/874). But I didn't expect Leatherface to become so popular in the last few weeks, that was weird to me.

This is how the list looks for me now at 875 (I just finished one match):

    Spoiler Spoiler Warning ▲ ▼

    82 Huntress

    63 Wraith

    57 Cannibal

    56 Artist

    48 Nurse

    47 Trapper

    47 Shape

    45 Ghostface

    38 Doctor

    38 Spirit

    36 Nemesis

    33 Hillbilly

    32 Plague

    30 Legion

    30 Trickster

    28 Executioner

    25 Clown

    22 Pig

    22 Blight

    20 Deathslinger

    17 Nightmare

    17 Cenobite

    13 Hag

    12 Oni

    11 Demogorgon

    6 Twins

Do you know if your're high or low MMR?

Those are strange as hell in how they can be so different to mine. I get Huntress being high but not that high. Also Trapper and Myers being that popular?

It's extra weird because there is "new player friendly" killers both at the top of the list and the bottom. As well as higher tier killers also on the top and the bottom of the list.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/305656/500-solo-match-results

This is really interesting. I've been keeping track of the killers I face too (but not as detailed because I don't have the escape/kills ratio), and I'm seeing way too many Huntresses and Wraiths. And just like you, I see the number of Artists is dropping, she used to be my number three but now Leatherface is ahead of her.

Twins, Demos & Onis are the rarest for me, and I'm quite jealous that you see so many Cenobites, I've only had 17 and I'm 874 games in :/

Anomalies like that are why I decided to do this. 17 Pinheads in nearly 900 matches is outright bizarre to me. What region do you play in?

Yeah geez Artist wasn't even the most popular killer in the 100 matches she got released in. Nurse out did her there too. Now this 100 she as one of the least popular killers. Clown technically showed up more than she did.

  • @LoneSlinger said:

Those are some really great stats please keep tracking and posting stuff like this I love reading numbers about sbmm

Also everyone that says solo survivor is so miserable should reference his 60% escape rate

If I had to guess your a pretty good survivor though I would imagine

    That's the crazy thing.

I don't consider myself TO BE.

Before I started all this I would've guessed my escape rate to be like 35-40%. I was shocked to see it above 50% at all 100 marks.

I could be sooooo much better of a looper than I currently am.

My main contribution is I play under the assumption my team is going to be useless as it gets. I instantly hop on a gen and I don't get scared away from a gen easily. I understand the killer HAS to waste a certain amount of time on things and understand we hold the advantage. I let people heal me right away I don't do stupid things.

  • I can't take anybody seriously who says it's not an advantage. You are literally seeing things the devs didn't intend for you to see. How is that not an advantage to be able to see more of your surroundings at all times? I mean there is literally a PERK that does this very very slightly.

Now compare that to 100 matches of survivor perks, and see if they have even that much variety.

They will because they have better perks.

  • Different experiences I suppose. I liked Lethal Pursuer at first but now think it should be reworked because I think it's weak very weak.

What normally happens. I spawn and see 4 survivors far across the map in different places. This tells me I would find them anyways and by the time I get there, they will have had time to move or shuffle out of the way. I just sacrificed a perk slot for something that didn't matter one bit. This information it gave me wasn't worth it.

I think it should be 12 seconds instead of 9. I think it should give a 5-10% speed bonus for those 12 seconds. That's even more true to the name of the perk IMO. THEN...I think it should activate again at some point.

  • I'd say no. While it can surely end up not mattering at all especially if survivors are patient and sneaky. When this perk actually works it gets the snowball rolling much earlier. The effect feels similar to old ruin if you ask me

  • @Laluzi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2754210#Comment_2754210

Ruin/Undying is pretty much just doubling up on Ruin. Having two totems instead of one is still very susceptible to getting blown up a minute into the match, so it doesn't patch Ruin's main weakness that effectively. I see many people run Ruin/Pop to have a before-and-after gen regression perk, and just use their other two slots for other types of perks.

And personally, I'd pick Haunted Grounds over Undying every single time when it comes to totem defense. Has a useful effect and doesn't announce to the team that I'm packing a dangerous hex the first time somebody walks by a dull totem. That's worth the 33% failure rate to me.

I was gonna say pretty much this. Plus with Scourge PR out a lot of people are opting to use that as backup with Ruin now instead of Undying.

  • I hate how in DBD world the word "boring" simply means "strong things that survivors don't want to have to deal with".

As with most things its totally avoidable and pretty much the only thing that makes Pinhead decent. Maybe if gen regression without perks wasn't so insanely weak things could be different.

Right, just leave you on the hook, got it. I'm sure you won't complain about that either.

Yeah I would totally rather see the killer be given another free hook and payout from his camping. I still remember the days when lifting your hands up and down meant you were being camped and not to come. Careless players have ruined that as noone seems to understand it anymore and seems to take it as the exact opposite.

This t opic isn't even about camping. It's about clowns running up and doing an unhook at a completely unsafe time when it isn't needed. Quit twisting it to make it into something else.

Just assuming EVERYONE has DS And then doing careless unhooks is as dumb as anything. Why try to force someone to have to waste their DS when you could just safely unhook them.

  • @Sakurra said:

Most of times when both survivors are just doing gens they won't bother to save. It's only me the one who can save the hooked one even if sometimes I don't have BT. It's better to not let him go in second stage even if the killer saw me and he's after me or he's proxy camping. He might have DS, who knows? That happens a lot when I use kindred and I know for sure the others are not going for save so I have to. If I'm not injured I try to take the hit for him if I don't have BT ofc. So I don't agree with your idea. Why should I be punished? Because I'm the only one that can help when others are just selfish doing gens...?

You wouldn't be punished if the killer hit you.....

  • @Fantasy said:

What a dumb idea. So if someone tries to stop you from going second stage by unhooking next to a camping killer they get punished? Like what if you had DS?

Yeah, dumb. Dumb like unhooking someone in front of the killer without BT. Killer might as well crown you MVP.

What is the point of saving someones hook state to lose someone elses? Do the gens and make the camping not work.

  • @Adjatha said:

I agree. Survivors who bomb-dive hooks right in the killer's face (especially when it's 3 seconds after they just finishing hooking) should be significantly punished and the person who had no control over their team mate's atrociously awful gameplay should not.

The game has copious stealth and sneaking options specifically so that survivors can creep up carefully and rescue when the killer has moved away, but all the most-used perks are designed to just excuse bad players from playing badly, no matter how much they harm their team mates.

Yup, just had a match against Wraith we were winning so easily. Thren my teammate decides their going to unhook me in front of him for no reason and I instantly go down. OFC he picks me right u pand throws me on the hook only for the guy to do the EXACT same thing and yet again OFC the killer targets me. Like why?

You should also have 5,000BP deducted if your unhook is INSTANTLY voided. So he would've lost 10kBP for doing that.

  • So I guess eventually LEather will need to be deleted along with the bucket of chicken charm.

Absolutely pathetic that this generation literally twists and turns until they are offended. YOu all stand no chance.

  • I've maintained a 60% escape rate as a solo survivor for over 450 games.

  • @Marc_go_solo said:

These are some great stats, and love it that Myers was proving himself quite the monster! I'm appreciative of the the data you're keeping.

This may be too excessive, but it would be interesting to see maybe the top 5 most common perks per killer and your build. However, I completely understand if this is too excessive and may turn this from somethih fun into a bit more of a chore.

I started tracking what the survivors perks are AS killer.

Doing this so far there is a few ideas I don't get why I didn't think of and that is one of them lol. I SHOULD be tracking the killer perks and ya know what I might just do that. Perks for specific killer might be complicated though.

I tell you Corrupt Intervention is hands down top 3. I see that perk CONSTANTLY.

So that will be 3 lists I will be doing now.

  • @dugman said:

    60% is quite respectable, nice!

Not surprising there are a lot of Blights and Nurses, consensus is they're very good killers at that level.

Nemesis being the third most popular killer is a little surprising. Not only is he paid DLC only (can't buy with shards) but most of the killer tier lists have him as right smack in the middle of all the killers. Not too bad but not great either. He even appears more than Wraith and Huntress who both come with the game and more than Artist and Pinhead who are both newer killers. I never played Resident Evil personally but I wonder if the license popularity is why he had so many matches? Or could just be dumb luck, who knows? 🤷‍♂️

(Coincidentally I had a fun game with him tonight using the add-ons that make zombies faster and respawn them faster and give me more infection when I kill them. Just used them as radar and then killed them after to level up the whip. Even got to see a zombie hit someone for once! ... I still killed him but I'm sure he understood it wasn't personal.)

Nemesis is pretty insane when they can aim the tentacle well. Oh there's a pallet...oh there's a vault...BOOM downed anyway.

  • @Marigoria said:

    Which perks did you use?

I'd love to see someone from Europe do some stats like these.

A variation of Prove Thyself, Built to Last, Boon Circle of Healing, Overcome, Kindred, Alert, a few more.

For some reason, I end up wit ha lot of South Americans,

  • Lol now as soon as I start tracking past 400 my luck does a 180. One escape and 5 deaths to start 400.....

  • @Adjatha said:

Very interesting project you have there. By all means, keep it up.

I'm not surprised to see Twins, Demo, Freddy, Pyramid Head, and Clown in the least-played killers. Three of those characters got nerfed severely, making their core ability feel bad to use. Clown got a "buff" in the least useful way possible, addressing none of his problems. And Demo can't be bought anymore, so you're just going to see less and less of him as people who already bought him leave the game.

Deathslinger's at 9 games, but I wonder how many of those were in your first 300 versus the most recent crop?

Deathslinger appeared in 4 matches in the last 100. 4 escapes 0 deaths

I agree about all of that. Freddy's add ons are trash now. Clowns speed bottles feel too hard to implement in a meaningful way etc.

It'd be interesting to see something like that for a number of killers. I don't understand how the game doesn't provide these numbers tbh, I suppose they must have some kind of data stored with all these numbers. I don't know why they wouldn't make them public for people to see themselves. I wouldn't even mind if it was some kind of paid benefit, like paying a certain amount in order to access your own data. I remember a looong time ago CS:GO did something like that for the first time, with a lot of stats, best maps, number of headshots, etc etc and many people bought the pass ticket.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2719330#Comment_2719330

That week was painful. I'm an average MMR survivor, so I'm in no position to carry a team, and I had people with less than 50 in-game hours. Sometimes it was a teammate, sometimes it was the killer, neither option was fun :/

If you ever do something like that as a killer maybe you could focus on things that are not directly affected by you. Like for example, you could keep track of what perks the survivors use, how many times/how soon they clean Hex Totems, how many times they use exhaustion perks in-game, etc.

That is actually a really good idea....I think im gonna do it....lol

Also, you'd be surprised how "good" you are. I don't consider myself good. My looping could use work. People are so much better at it than I am. My main contribution is I am a no nonsense teammate. I jump on gens fast and don't leave nearly finished gens. I always offer to heal or get healed quickly with no BS. I also have common sense on where to run the killer to waste time.

    Otherwise gj

That is the fun part about this. Seeing weird anomalies you wouldn't expect. Like Leatherface for instance. I didn't realize I obliterate him so much.

The funny thing about Deathslinger is there was like 2 matches where the guy bombed the team and I got hatch.

  • @ImBrakingBike said:

    I love numbers <3

I wanted to do something like that but I saw way too many DCs, deaths on the first hook, and suicides during the week the game was free on Epic. The matches were awfully weird too :/

Yeah, I know. It gets very annoying when you lose DIRECTLY because of the team especially when it's a game you're winning by a large margin. It can become super tempting to not count the match.

I had intended to track killer stats too but I couldn't resist doing things like extending the matches for points so the results wouldn't really be true if I tracked them. I didn't like being a try hard killer.

  • GOod, they're never going to address or make any sort of change that impacts the fact console survivors against PC Nurses is absolutely BS. Nerf Nurse into the ground.

Lol, expecting ppl playing nurse for 4 friggin years to lose against people playing on consoles.

  • You do not need to be a new killer to get totally flipped by Shadow Step. I've had it happen to me plenty. If they're not injured some people vanish into thin air.

  • @Akumakaji said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2703225#Comment_2703225

I started my own little statistics suevey today. So far I got 7 games in and I also take notes how many DH, BT etc I encounter

The problem is for me it gets complicated to count it all later on. I wish I knew of a better way to do it. Then I would be tracking EVERYTHING. Perks used etc etc.

At 300 it gets kind of tricky to count it.

Although by far the most popular killer perk in my experience is Corrupt Intervention. 70% or more of matches contain that perk.

  • Here is another thing I didn't mention in the notes that I mean't to.

I am either crazy or the games MMR functions BACKWARDS to an extent. When I am on a big win streak the killers I play seem to get worse and worse. When I LOSE a ton I start facing the super oppressive streamer type players with meta builds etc etc.

I am on a crazy run 10 escapes in a row 27 escapes and 3 deaths my last 30. The game just gave me a Pig SO NEW this guy tried to mind game at a friggin DOWNED god pallet. Like really....

  • I agree about clown. I find his other bottles way too hard to implement in a meaningful way and it also feels like there is barely ever a time where the speed bottle will do what the other couldn't. You should just get the damn speed boost instantly and the survivor not get it. See if hes OP if hes not then okay moving on.

I was originally tracking killers too but I kept finding reasons to not count the matches. Either people would DC or I would not be able to resist throwing the match in favor of more points.

Yeah Nemesis can pretty much ignore pallets and vaults if he is good with his tentacle. I actually hate going against him for that reason. Plus hes from RE so it makes sense he is so popular

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

16 Mikeys and 12 of them killed you. That's my boy.

I'm rather surprised that in 300 games you only got one Clown. He must be super unpopular in your neck of the woods.

Myers was the most interesting stat. I would've never guessed that. I suppose it feels balanced when I die to him?

Then of course he became rare as hell as in showing up once in like 150 matches now that I know he does so well against me. Was eager to see if that trend continued or if I come back at him.

At one point Nemesis had me down to 0 escapes 7 deaths. Then I came back on his ass with 8 escapes in a row.[

  • @clowninabout said:

This is really interesting thanks for posting it. Also 4 twins yet only 2 ph and 1 clown!

I was very surprised that PH is so rare. I have since tracked past 300 and the funny thing is PH randomly showed up 3 times in a row after only appearing those 2 times in 300+ matches.

Clown being super rare is weird too, especially with Christmas approaching, I was expecting to see Santa clowns start popping up.

How do your team-mates do? I pretty much lose all my survivor matches but usually the killer 4Ks or I get 1-hooked at the end.

Yeah, I regretted not starting off with also tracking the overall result. I will say though from memory the more I escaped the better chances my team had to escape as well. Me escaping alone is the rarest outcome of the match. If I escape there is usually all 4 with me or 3 others. If I had to guess in range of popular to least

4 and 3 out including me tied for probability. I even think 4 out might be more popular than 3. High MMR is pretty painful on killers....
