Getting slugged tunneled or camped is not a survivor's mistake. Dead Hard works just the same whether or not a survivor just made a mistake.
Getting genrushed with map offerings and toolboxes while playing a midtier-killer also isn't the killer's mistake.

Things like this is why I am a Nurse-main. If I am having a good day, I can deal with that #########

- Wraith's super-lunge fixed
- Wraith actually uncloaked after getting Lightburned
- Wraith consistently uncloaked after breaking a Pallet using Spirit Fury+Enduring
- Wailing Bell Charm
- Being able to sell back Items, Add-ons & Offerings for 5-10% of how much they're worth, or simply being able to delete them
- Being able to buy however many Auric Cells you want instead of packs
- Buff more (Within reason.), nerf less (Within reason.)
- Being able to change Aura colors to your liking
- Matchmaking at least no longer like how it is now
- Optional crossplay
- Blood Lodge massive changes to not make it so open & Pallet heaven
- Being able to go into first-person in the shop when shopping for Killer main weapon cosmetics so you can see what that weapon will look like while you're playing
- Being able to look at your cosmetics separate from your character so you can see what it looks like from as close as possible, like how you can with Charms now
- Killer Charms on more objects so Survivors can see them more often than just when on the Hook/rescuing a hooked Survivor (I nominate at least Generators & Lockers.)
- The volume of just-hooked Survivors' screams turned down
- The disconnect punishment system in its finished state
- "Emblem Bonus" XP being more than close than nothing
- Luck affecting more than Bear Traps & unhooking yourself (Naturally, i nominate at least Chest searches.)
- Blindness rework?
- Haemorrhage buff/rework?
That's all i can think of for now.
I would like to add a few fixes.
- Fix Nurse's blink sometimes taken away by the game. Turning you into a 1-blink, sometimes even no-blink Nurse for the rest of the trial.
- Fix Nurse's post-blink lunge. It sometimes legit goes further, and sometimes goes less far.
- Fix Myers's and Ghostface stalking. Being able to stalk survivors through walls, and sometimes not being to stalk them even in plain sight.
- Spirit's post-phase lunge is bugged just like Wraith. They changed her speed curve, but she still is supposed to get an extended lunge.
- Clown's bottles sometimes don't do anything. They explode on the spot, but without releasing any gas. Though, maybe thats dedicated servers?
-
Devotion 7, on the brink of devotion 8.
I always thought that was much, but looking at this thread, I am just a small fish in the pond.
-
Bug fixes. Like sound, "auto-aim", et cetera.
Better optimisation for all platforms.
Better dedicated servers, if possible.
Quality of life changes, like making struggling on hook automatic.
Balance solutions regarding chasetime and/or generatortime, as well as controversial perks like Insidious, NOED, DS, BT (which keeps getting buffed with every patch as of now), and map reworks.
Closing the gap between solos and SWF.
-
Deranking as killer won't get you anyhere. Matchmaking now matches yellow rank killers with red rank survivors on a regular basis. You can't escape them!

whats the point of getting to high ranks as killer there's no fun from it anyway
Yeah, it kind of says alot about the state of the game when its desireable to rank up as survivor, but not desireable to rank up as killer.
-
I would give up 3 years of new content just to get the current game fixed.
-
Don't try killer adept. The 2-pip requirement is just too brutal compared to survivors who just need to escape. Its just unfair.
-
I mean yellow rank killers already get matched with red rank survivor on a regular base. So it wouldn't make much different in terms of difficulty for people. But speed up queuing times for everyone. Matchmaking is beyond repair, so might as well abandon it.
-
Nurse.
If she is good, you are done for.

TydeTime has some videos showing that OmegaBlink is better than it was before, since you can use 1 Range AddOn to get to nearly pre-change distance, and take a recharge AddOn to make the charge system less annoying. Anyone who knows TydeTime knows he’s an average Nurse player (definitely no Ardetha), and he did quite well.
https://youtu.be/pwxPGsKuhkk him playing seriously
https://youtu.be/3X6C-LH2FV4 him memeing, but still a good match
I very much agree with Tyde, because I was never good with Nurse (still not), but always tried to play her. I do decently well with her changes, and I’ve played torn bookmark builds, omega builds, scream builds (add on that causes survivors to scream if blinked past.) My favorite is the scream with recharge reduction, which means if I blink past an immerses survivor, I find em’. I feel people miss the old “I can travel across giant maps in 4 blinks back to back” and since they lack that OP pressure, they feel she’s garbage. You might not be able to Blink between the furthest gens without cool down, but you still have a massive amount of pressure that if used right, can mess up the Survivors rhythm.
How is a lower range, with higher charge time plus with a cooldown better than a higher range with no cooldown? That makes no sense at all.
Also Ardetha is not that great with Nurse. He did use Omegablink and still struggled alot pre-nerf.
-
High rank SWF is the easiest and single most powerful thing in this entire video game. Voicecomms and knowing everyone's loudout and playstyle is a giant massive buff, with absolutely no downside whatsoever. Its like stacking the 2 old range add-ons for Nurse (Omegablink). And ontop of that, it takes absolutely zero skill to gain those buffs.
-
I am missing an "Other" option.
Personally I would say Spirit. She is the easiest to learn of the top tier killers, so naturally she attracts people that want to win, and rub it under people's noeses.

His latest nurse video was mostly just him cursing the devs and PRAYING that nurse would function correctly. He DID eventually win though so...
Yeah, but OP asked for someone who says Nurse is still the strongest killer in the game, while also being really good with her. Zubat falls under that category as far as I gathered.

What was the point of posting that video? 3 people escaped and it was from the PUBLIC TEST BUILD, where people are barely trying to win. As I said, I want video evidence from the people calling Nurse the best killer or top tier. This is not really about whether she is viable or not.
A streamer called ZubatLel is prolly the closest you can get to someone conssitently winning with new Nurse.
-
Honestly, no. I stopped the GG thingy in Dbd some time ago. Its rarely appreciated, often seen as a taunt or salty message. I would rather stay quiet, check everyone's loudout, and then move on to the next match.
-
Only when playing Nurse, because I can influence the outcome of the match with her quite consistently (if bugs or dedicated servers won't ######### me up). Survivors have reached the point in their looping skills, where pallets and windows are just so much in their favour, that I personally simply can't keep up with it.

Inb4 swf with coms reports you for using third party programs to aid with your game
There are legit people who say visual aids like increased gamma/brightness on your screen, or a crosshair is cheating. Those are also the same people that group up with Discord voice communication.

You can fast vault any window you desire, if you practise it a bit. Here an example:

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Nurse players before the nerf, as a whole, were the most boosted group of players I've seen.
Competent survivors fear Competent nurses still. I never feared nurses who weren't good, or were just decent. Those players aren't the reason she was nerfed. But those players are most vocal right now about her nerf, now that it isn't super easy to 4k with her just by learning her a bit.
You could say the same about survivors. But you don't see survivors getting nerfed, just because a handful of them are close to reaching the skill ceiling. Double standards, as usual.
-
Nurse.
Nothing more intense than strangelling someone to death with your bare hands. Looking into their eyes, and seeing the fire of their soul slowly fade away. Until they stop moving, and lie there lifeless. Petting their checks. A last goodbye.
Legion, Ghostface, and Hag are close second for me. But because they are showed in 3rd person, as opposed to 1st person, they feel more like from a cheap slasher movie.
-
All of these confusing things here. Old basekit Nurse was completely fine. She was difficult to use, very rewarding if used correctly, and still offered counterplay to the survivors. What was broken about her was her add-ons. Range add-on (with no downsides), and additional blinks (also no downsides) were everything that needed a change.

I never once said ranks didn't matter. He had a disconnect. It was 3v1, with none of the survivors using incredible meta perks that would help them against a Nurse in any way. This Nurse had full meta perks (including ruin, which...OOF, running ruin on Nurse). It's not so much about ranks not mattering, but more about this guy had every advantage at his disposal and still failed.
You arew assuming alot of things here. You don't know the map, you don't know the time Ruin was cleansed, you don't know when the person disconnected.
But most importantly the killer was a rank TWELVE. Rank twelves for the most part don't even know the map layout properly. How can you expect a Nurse with that little experience to stand a chance against red rank survivors with potentially thousands oif hours into the game?
-
On survivors, they are just bad. 5 minutes minimum. On killer, instantlobbies 9/10 times.
-
@The_Second_Coming said:
I would feel bad for you, if you weren't a Nurse, with ruin, and other extremely meta perks (noteably, ruin, on Nurse. OOF), and the survivors had perks that were actually game changing. They didn't.
Basically, if you lost to them, as a Nurse, with ruin, BBQ and Nurses Calling...I don't think it's the games fault, no matter the rank. You had a significant advantage.
So you are just gonna ignore the rank 12 versus red ranks? There is a giant gap between green rank Nurses and red rank Nurses.
-
You physically can't ignore it. The loud noise notifications are so loud you are basically a deaf killer. Only way to counter it is turning sound off, but then you are, well, a deaf killer too.
There really should be a cooldown on it, or someway to mitgrate the sound volume of them.
-
I mean, Freddy too was reworked because old Freddy was apparently "frustrating" to verse. No killer ever gets reworked because the person playing them find them frustrating or boring. Its always all about the survivor's fun.

@Quol said:
From the data that the devs showed it seems that they are content with killers having ~65% kill rate so its slightly killer sided, but they failed to properly take into account/balance highly skilled swf. So you have killer mains looking at the top 10% survivors (highly skilled swf) confused at how this is fair, while the rest of the 90% survivor plebs are looking at killers confused at what they are talking about.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/106566/stats-november-2019#latest
Keep in ming that half those 65% killsrates invovle games with disconnects, people suiciding on first hook, survivors throwing the game, or messing around. Those stats don't tell anything about survivors who actually attempt to win.
-
It would be logical really, and makes the atmosphere of the game more realistic.
And the best thing, survivor-mains cant cry about it being a nerf, because sound is so bad in this game, killers can't hear you anyway.
So its a win-win. Make it happen, devs.!
-
If it makes you feel any better. the PC version also runs extremely bad. Its just not noticeable for most people, because most people have good PCs.
-
Low quality bait.

What if i hook everyone once? LIke bbq is life.
Gives you atleast bronze in devout. Also more in malicious, because survivors automatically heal a health state upon being unhooked. Do at your own risk.
-
Honestly, if you wanna depip, without getting banned, just don't hook anyone, unless you managed to slug all 4 at the same time (so you are not being a dick by letting them bleed out)
That way you will get no devout emblem because no hooks, pretty much nothing in malicious emblem (because all injuries you deal get healed). So only chaser, and gatekeeper. If you above green ranks, you are physically unable to pip. If you are doing mediocre, you will depip most of the time, thanks to busted gatekeeper emblem.

The reversed skill checks replace the Exhausted status effects. So it's possible to get a shaking off-center counter-clockwise skill check.
So Doctor will not be able to counter exhaustion perks anymore? That makes me sad.
-
Before the EGC traps killed survivors no matter their state (active or inactive). There was only 3 ways for the survivor to escape. Either by taking it off at the boxes, escaping through the hatch, or the killer dropping the survivors past the pillars in the exit gate area, bypassing the activation.
After EGC, inactive traps pose no threat to the survivors other than making noise when walking or running. Active traps still apply the same rules as before the EGC, though.
-
Nothing compared to Sally's glorious hips.
-
Nurse.
She can gently put me to sleep at night.
-
Only on gamebreaking bugs. Bugs where I am physically forced to disconnect, or where one side can hold the game hostage.
-
Survivors are STILL compaining about BBQ&Chilli? Its aura reading has SEVEN counters, and only 1 needs a specific perk to pull off. Meaning you can foool the killer in SIX different ways? Is that STILL not enough for you??
-
On PC, survivors disconnecting prematurely is like 20 times more prevalent than it is for killers.
-
I only have those problems as survivor. As killer I get instantlobbies, unless its like 5 o'clock in the morning.
-
Nurse has the best Prestige 3 outfit.
Its so good, it legit allows you to blink anywhere you want. Truly ascending to God status.
-
In theory killer. Its more interactive, and interesting. In practise, its also very stressful, though, so I am quite often switching to survivors for easy games.
-
Survivors footsteps.
Shame they removed those, though.
-
Thats just latency at work. On P2P, the only latency was you to the killer. Now that there is a 3rd party between, the killer has a latency too. The real latency doubled.
-
Maps used to way darker, and clothes too. However back in those times we also had a functioning sound system, so atleast you could hear those Blendettes rustling the grass.
-
Hits look weird because they are clientside for the killer. Dedicated servers make this look worse for survivors, because they increase the latency between the players. Blame the servers, not hitboxes, they are mostly fine.
-
I assume you are low ranks, because you play the strong killers only for dailies.
