Not an image, but more birb content.
Birds.
Well, according to them they're going to go make their own thread about this "issue".
Who knows maybe they'll be able to stick to a consistent story over there lmfao
Nah, they'll probably get clowned on even harder over there, lol.
Probably because they realize they’re getting ratio’d all the time and don’t want to have that anymore.
If y'all are looking for more birb videos, I can always recommend mating rituals of birds of paradise.
https://youtu.be/rX40mBb8bkUA reminder - inclusivity is something important to us and something that we are proud of.
Hiding charms because someone doesn't want to see a pride charm is not now, or ever will be an option.
Imagine wasting resources on that @_@
Just out of curiosity what are the other two loadouts😂
slayed :)
Another day another slay
mega slayed
calling for a cult surrounding the gay birb rn
They're both empty because I can't find 2 more outfit combinations within a day of the new feature releasing
Holly does not tolerate intolerance
She becomes very frumpy when it happens
Holly however does appreciate codes for free stuff!
This thread is still going on? Love that for us.
@ BHVR please give us angy birb.
On the off topic discussion, I side with Karl Popper on this one:
"Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.—In this formulation, I do not imply, for instance, that we should always suppress the utterance of intolerant philosophies; as long as we can counter them by rational argument and keep them in check by public opinion, suppression would certainly be most unwise. But we should claim the right to suppress them if necessary even by force; for it may easily turn out that they are not prepared to meet us on the level of rational argument, but begin by denouncing all argument; they may forbid their followers to listen to rational argument, because it is deceptive, and teach them to answer arguments by the use of their fists or pistols. We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant. We should claim that any movement preaching intolerance places itself outside the law and we should consider incitement to intolerance and persecution as criminal, in the same way as we should consider incitement to murder, or to kidnapping, or to the revival of the slave trade, as criminal."
Yes, we want an open, diverse, tolerant community. In order to have that, we cannot allow intolerance to gain a foothold. Any argument of "Hide yourself so that I can participate even though I hate you" should be cut out as quickly as possible. (Yes, this includes your desire to not see the rainbow icons).
Can I join
Still waiting on that thread bestie <3
I won't be making it. Mandy said in a previous reply this idea would never be an option within the game so I see no reason to talk about it further.
How disappointing, I’m sure everyone here was very much looking forward to it :)
It really is a nice charm. I have it on Makela’s new outfit.
Im putting this charm on my Kate and leaving it to remind me
Omg that's such a smart move
I mean TBH I would love an option to hide all the Claudettes, but not because of race. I've just been traumatized by newbie/selfish Claudette players in solo queue a lot. While I'm on my soap box I'd also love to hide bird momma. She frightens me considerably.
oh great, another extremely useful charm...
Well Mandy has made the right decision. The idea was unnecessary and pointless to begin with.
This will go to my Artist hooks. She needs more birds.
Omg it's so cute! 💕
No, what's disheartening is that with everything that's going on in the world people can still be petty enough to be bothered by an inclusion charm in a video game. If it's that hard to deal with, maybe just don't look at it?
It's better than a plain pin I'll give them that. I like the model.
I love it. Thank god I'm not someone who sees a rainbow bird and immediately explodes with anger.
Can't think of a more unnecessary change. What's next, disable hats and backpacks?
You do realize that there is currently nothing that can get disabled like that? Like not even items, and there is a reason for it.
hmmm toucan sam
to be fair, the ability to toggle hats/backpacks for your own customization (not to change the appearance of others) would be pretty cool.
Must not be proud of Freddy though 😭
(I'm just messing around don't mind me too much)
I guess, I just don't see it needed for charms.
it's not unheard of for some games to allow players to disable other players cosmetics. Town of Salem allows it.
I think it's be cool to be able to turn them off. Also the ability to adjust an extended sound settings.
Other games also have different customization options.
The charms are already small enough that you can't even see them half the time. So I consider "hiding" them an unnecessary option.
It'd probably feel unnecessary to some people, but it's still something of an idea.
How is it destructive? Personally I think all charms are dumb and wish I could toggle them off as they look silly to me.
It’s definitely not needed for charm. Also it’s not needed like that for backpacks/hats - I just think if you had a toggle for backpacks/hats for your own customization on your own character that would be neat.
Also there are cases where hiding the cosmetics from other players could be a good thing: accessibility for certain phobias eg having the option to change Clowns cosmetics to be neutral/not clowns for those suffering from Coulrophobia. Though Homophobia is certainly not your usual phobia at all (and I hate the fact it’s even called -phobia)
You don’t have to equip them yourself.
they are part of the customization for players in this game and people like to equip them to show others what they have/like/support/whatever. They are easy enough to ignore if you don’t care for them (I think I have never actively noticed any charm on any other surv but my own…)
Sometimes, this community is amazing
I dislike them due to the immersion breaking aspect. I'm not saying they shouldn't be an option, being able to toggling them off would be a nice option though.
🏳️🌈❤️
