There is a strong and established belief that devs never bother with banning people for says horrible things to others in post game chat. Often they will outright say that there is no punishment and that this is ignored so they can insult as much as they want. Is this true ? Generally curious as we currently only have a matchmaking system, I know it's called SBMM but its definitely not. Doesnt track personally skill what so ever and is just a coin toss of who will be on your team, could be someone actually your skill or it could be a new player who cant loop or hit skill checks. I was playing doctor for a daily and I got 4 spicy survivors. 2 brand new parts and an insta heal. The survivors were Zarina, Ace, Claudette and Meg. I hook Ace, I go for Claudette. Ace gets unhooked as I down Claudette and something interesting happens. Meg unhooks Claudette right behind me. What do I do? There seems to be a misconception that Doctor is this awful killer and one of the worst in the game to go againts or play. To me he's close to what a perfectly balanced killer should look like. There will be times where I get an amazing 4k and I still just end up getting brutal killer. It seems like moris just don't count much towards match results but my grade almost never goes up when I play tombstone Myers. I get that I'm supposed to do a lot more during match but a 4k is still something huge. Seen a serious increase in BNP getting used lately. Like it's 1-2 every other game I'm playing these days resulting in 2-3gens popping rapid style and basically forcing you into a tunneling game. When you're looking for glyphs... Green ones in particular are annoying, and this perma tier 3 myers won't wait 2 god damn seconds for you to finish. It makes no difference to him. Just finished a match against a SWF. Was going pretty good and managed to get a 3k. Went to the TTV's stream to say hi and gg's. I think that DBD is probably in it's most balanced state, but it still possess many issues that need to be addressed. And i wanna talk about them. Map design . I don't think i need to say much... most maps are way too safe, open and sometimes even too big. The Eyrie of Cringe fits perfectly into this description. I've been musing over ideas for how to buff Trapper, but I sometimes question if an idea would be better as an add-on or part of his base kit. Yes, some things are obviously better as base-kit and others are obviously better as add-ons. Slowly over time I've gotten to really hate the meat plant and most recently Midwich. I'm actually at a point now where if I get any of these 2 maps I'm just going to camp the first hook until they decide to sort these maps out. A person can literally run the killer for 5 gens on meat plant without even coming close to going down because of the insane amount of pallets. Dead hard is just as strong as it was before,its just harder to time it,but after you use it a while,its pretty easy. Until it gets rid of the endurance effect that's still an extra health state,againts some killers is a guaranteed extra health state.
