We have all been there. Someone gets hooked and instead of being patient letting the team progress gens they just kill themselves. Now from a killer perspective having seen first hand how good some of the bot's can be this also concerns me. DBD is moving away from horror and more into something action-based with horror elements. I personally feel the last four chapters didn't really have a horror feel to them at all, sure there are some grotesque elements and gore as usual, but nothing really scary or unsettling. I've faced this situation afew times recently and figured I should say something after seeing posts of ppl that hate slugging. Hooks for SOME reason are permanently broken if a survivor dies on them. This can put me as the killer in a situation where I have no hook to get the last survivor to because they're either broken or occupied. I tried to find a game as killer and it took too long so switched to survivor because it has +100% incentives, it almost immediately got "match found" but then it just stayed like that for a good while so I gave up and closed the game. is it just a me problem or is there something wrong with matchmaking right now? While cloaked, The Wraith, used to get stunned for double the time of a normal stun, now I noticed in game that this does not happen anymore. Just had a match where p9...Ada was just urban evasioning, most likely for the past 5min, because she neither went for a save or touch a single gen while 2 others were still alive. She was literally just crouching around the map/hiding for whatever reason. Now this looks to me like "not doing objectives" which, as I always thought, is reportable. Youd think with a Killer chasing them, some Survivors would look back to see where the Killer is, or just see what is chasing them, but nope, they just run in a straight line away from the Killer while facing forwards the entire time. I've been rinsing dbd these last couple of weeks for the masquerade, it's pushed me a considerable way through my prestige 100 jeff grind, it's a good event. But I've noticed these last couple of days people are getting mad triggered. Had more toxic messages in one 3 hour game session tonight than I usually get in a month. So i have around 600ish hours on the game. Id say around 500-550 are on survivor and the minority is on killer. I'm not too sure if its a ME issue or not but im inexperienced so im going to say im just not good enough yet. Whenever I play killer without 2-3+ gen regression perks i just get genrushed and lose so fast on the vast VAST majority of characters i play. Shortly before the exit gates were open I managed to get to a pillar. The moment I finished it, the exit gates opened. As you can see, the game gave me the invitation on the lower left But because it was a tad too late, the game didn't register that invitation when the gates opened, so I didn't get a mask. I know Killers can hit over windows, but sometimes I'll be over a vault for almost a full second, and I still get hit anyway. Here is a video comparing running while injured down the midwich hallway using both Made For This and Hope. The time it took with MFT to go from one side to the other was exactly 18.15 seconds down to the frame. Hope on the other hand took exactly 17.38 seconds down to the frame. I have been week already on silver 4 and probably will be there unrit rank reset because depip mechanic. Almost everytime I gain pip I lose it to gen rush squad. I have tried to balance my matches by never going over 2K (hoping mmr works) and I actually tried hard to get next grade. I had 3 good matches were I did that and gained 2 pips (almost 3).
