You make the same thread over and over. Truly thinking blight has no counters destroys any credibility. He has tons of counterplay.

c33 and alch ring need changing. His basekit is perfect and should be the example of a fun, interactive killer. Unless you’d prefer the majority of the roster that is m1 killers, that are just plain boring to play against. I don’t know how anybody finds a challenge in looping against basic m1 killers anymore.

I would happily take all your blight games in exchange of all my m1 games. Atleast the game is fun.

Blight will get his nerf and I think it will be very soon and hug teching will be gutted so hope you enjoy it while it lasts

They've literally said that they are working on changes for her kit and for the separate issue of gens spawns. In the short term they have buffed Deja Vu to help survivors find and break up 3 gens.

Changes take time and they have an very packed schedule that they most likely can't just throw off considering there is another licensed chapter coming up.

Deja vu isn’t gonna do anything to a skull merchant that 3 gens from the start of a game

You're playing stealth killers that can crawl right up on someone and smack them before they're aware. If I'm playing Trapper, and I outplay a survivor at shack, they shouldn't still make the window safely because haha funny injured haste perk.

People are making a big deal about it because it is a big deal. A lot of safe tiles are designed to be safe for default survivor speed. When you cut the speed difference by 20%, they become exponentially safer.

Dude you need to chill lol made for this is fine and the fact you can’t handle a killer main saying it’s fine is just so funny to me most killers don’t care and I don’t think made for this needs a nerf or will get one anytime soon with texas chainsaw massacre releasing if behaviour start ruining survivor more than they already have then people will just switch to that if you can’t counter made for this and this is no shade against anyone you just aren’t a good killer

  • @Feneroe said:

Kill switch is for game breaking bugs, not unfun strategies, and it should stay that way. We don't need to give the DBD community the belief they have the power to have anything they don't like kill switched. Ask BHVR to rework her faster or fix gen spawns to stop three generators from spawning within spitting distance of each other (or both).

Behaviour don’t care they just act like this isn’t an issue

I don't think you understand how Sadako works, It is objectively better to keep survivors on their feet to spread more condemnation. If you are slugging to build condemnation you are playing her wrong. I think there's a bigger issue here that is minor and huge. Against solo queue, she is a steamroller, and against the best of the best, you have no fighting chance. This either means something needs to be changed to the killer's power or you simply need to learn how the killer works and understand how to counter her. Old Sadako would Slug way more than the current patch. She is overall more healthy just with polar extremes of winning and losing.

refusing to hook and slugging someone is still an issue with her tho and when I play in a 4 man it’s not an issue but why should things only be easy for swfs solo always gets left to Rot

  • I’m sick of going against 3 Gen skull merchants and getting a dc penalty if we leave we shouldn’t have to endure the mental torture that is playing against the skull merchant why did you guys ever think this killer was gonna be fun to play against

  • @kit_mason said:

Her only viable build prior to this buff was to slug and play for condemned, using Ring Drawing and Iri Tape.

Her update has been live for only a day and a bit, so people's strategies are still developing on both sides. At least wait to see if survivors take on board means to counterplay her new methods of gaining Condemned and if killer players find an engaging yet rewarding strategy to undertake on her before asking for reverts to a version of Sadako that requires an Iridescent addon to be functional.

Who wants to be slugged on the ground all the time it’s boring gameplay and the devs know how awful it is to play against

just admit your a bad survivor crutching MFT. What, was LITHE too hard for you?

do you mean I’m a good survivor using made for this too it’s full potential oh man I love my made for this and dead hard combo I love that fact you cry literal tears over it and nah I used sprint burst see when you are a good survivor you can 99 it or I was a balanced landing gamer I would run you 10 gens

Oh yeahhh and the singularity FLOPPPPPPPP boring to play boring to go against I don’t even see singularity’s anymore sometimes once a day if that so 3 of the worst chapters Ever thank you behaviour but you don’t get why someone would want to leave a match do you ?

Perfect example of why the devs almost never reply to forum posts lollll

cause I told them what they didn’t want to hear that they have had 7 years designing a game while slowly running it into the ground but shoving cosmetics down our throats and expecting us to forget about the hundreds of issues the game has or the fact they literally back to back released two of the worst chapters and killers I have ever seen that promoted the worst style of gameplay sorry I’m not one of behaviours mindless zombies that forgets about all the issues because they give feng another cosmetic

Maybe you guys accept that some of your killer roster is insufferable and sucks every ounce of fun out the game or maybe getting camped tunnelled and especially slugged or the fact skull merchant exists and why should we be locked out of a game we payed for cause we didn’t want to play a 30 minute skull merchant match or sit on the floor slugged for 4 mins pathetic in my eyes

  • @nars said:

Except with sprint burst it just gets you to a tile, and thats it. It doesnt extend how long that tile lasts, it just helps you get to a new one. And if you want it to proc again or sometimes at all you need to actively lose distance via walking mid chase just to manage exhaustion.

MFT helps you reach tiles, MFT extends those tiles excessively, MFT is unearned and has no purpose in dbd.

And it’s in dbd and it’s gonna be in dbd cry more

  • @nars said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3489994#Comment_3489994

    Completely incorrect.

The distance at which a chase can begin is 12m. Lets say that a chase starts at that distance. The speed advantage of a killer over survivor is 0.6m/s or 15%. Since the survivor will be running away, 12/0.6= the time it takes to reach them and hit them. Without mft, that time is 20s. With MFT, its 25s.

mft gives 0.12/3% speed bonus. This decreases the killers speed advantage by 0.12, down to 0.48. So now we divide 12 by that 0.48 instead of 0.6.

12/0.48=25. Thats a 5 second increase just from having MFT. 5 seconds doesnt sound like a ton of chasetime, but think of it like this: Thats 5 more seconds to reach a pallet. Survivor speed with mft is 4.12, 5 x 4.12 = 20.6. So with MFT, you can cover an extra 20.6m of ground before you go down.

In this example, if we look at where the survivor would have gone down without MFT, if there is a pallet within those 20.6m then the survivor would not go down with MFT. Now imagine that on the chase wide scale.

Other exhaustion perks are oriented around tile chaining, mft just flat out increases chasetime for nothing. Thats a rather specific scenario I know, but it isnt about that scenario. its about the fact that MFT will provide that much extra ground in just 12m of running. No earning it, no activation condition beyond being injured, just equip the perk and you cover so much more ground.

A side effect of MFT is also providing an extra 8s of distance of onhit burst.

onhit burst gives 165% speed for 1.8s.

Killer hit cooldown makes them stand still for 2.7s.

    Without MFT:

    6.6 x 1.8 = 11.88m of distance

The killers hit cooldown still has 0.9s left, so thats 0.9s of 4m/s. another 3.6m of distance. So overall onhit burst will provide 15.48m of distance. Some killers have methods of regaining that distance quickly or have the range to just not care, but the vast majority of the roster will just have to walk it. Regaining that distance as a 115 killer will take 15.48/0.6=25.8 seconds.

So without MFT it takes 25.8s.

    With MFT:

Onhit burst will now be 168%

    6.72 x 1.8= 12.096m

killer animation takes 0.9 more seconds so thats 3.708 more meters. 15.804m. A 4m difference than without MFT.

    15.804/0.48= 33s to regain it.

25s without it, 33 seconds with. Thats another 8 seconds of covering distance.

MFT is not a balanced perk.

Cope it won’t be nerfed for a long time and I hope killer mains every where suffer you got dead hard nerfed and you guys still hate sprint burst lithe mft ect and it’s just funny to me the math you guys literally sit and do about made for this it proves some people don’t go outside like we don’t care about the math it’s a useful refreshing perk and you guys are gonna have to Cope

  • Buff decisive back to five seconds heck I would even give it 2 times per game tunnelling someone out early game is a powerful thing why shouldn’t the survivors have a powerful tool to counter it Decisive used to be feared not because of usage because the stun was not worth chasing someone who has just been unhooked they would go after the unhooker but now it’s just a joke and waste of a perk slot

You cant just go "well they should have been in the game already so they arent buffs" when they are, by definition, buffs.

No they are QOL changes that should have been in the game since the start spirit has needed this for a while remember prayer bead spirit ? Spirit with no directional audio most times none at all Blight needs to be brought down a peg and in my opinion nurse needs completely reworked

  • Add the five second stun make it available both hook stages and that’s the perfect anti tunnel perk disabled in endgame even though imo that’s bs but what can you do

  • @Pulsar said:

I do not believe perks should be "feared".

Respected? Perhaps. You need to respect PGTW, PR or things like flashlights.

But perks shouldn't be feared, imo.

A anti tunnel perk should be feared Decisive strikes good quality was because the stun was long enough to make the killer think twice about tunnelling you and if they did they eat a 5s stun and it’s a punishment which with how powerful tunnelling someone out can be the survivors need a powerful counter

  • Bloodlust 2-3 shouldn’t exist in the first place anyways all killers do is play ring around the pallet so they don’t have to break it

  • Would love for behaviour to actually check this out and give us their thoughts on decisive being buffed

    #BUFFDS

3 second DS might aswell be the surv accidentally standing on the killers toe

  • @Jhei said:

I loved the idea that DS has a number of tokens equal to the number of uncompleted gens on the map. So at the start of the game, you have 7 tokens. For every token you have, if you use DS, the stun lasts that many seconds. So if you are getting tunneled before a single gen has been done, then yes, you deserve to be able to use a 7 second stun to get out of there and gain some distance. When there's only one gen remaining to be done, a 3 second stun is more fair. Once the final gen is done, there are no incomplete gens on the map so your tokens become zero and you can't use DS since the gates are powered.

I agree with that idea I just hope the devs do something about it soon because tunnelling is just boring no counter play and too powerful in solo queue

Its easy to do that on a lot of killers.

I think people hyper focus on Nurse because a lot of survivors are one trick ponies and when the one trick fails, to them it's clearly a game problem not a player problem.

Nurse can be oppressive but so can almost any killer in the right hands.

I think it’s because nurse negates survivor recourses and the only counter play is breaking line of sight and weird pathing it’s not very fun sure it’s fun when the nurse is absolutely awful but if a nurse has the slightest idea of what she is doing it’s just boring and sucks the fun out of the game

  • What do you mean the survivor buffs ? You mean the Brand new part nerf the prove thyself nerf oh yeah the healing and medkit nerf COH being absolutely gutted so it’s only useful in a coms with a swf dead hard being activated after being unhooked the only good thing a survivor has got this year has been made for this lol and every killer main on the face of the earth has started a witch hunt for that perk we don’t need secondary objectives

My point is we don’t care about trapper and big they are old outdated killers that if you play and lose it’s your fault they were made when dbd was a different game survivors and killers are 10x more advanced now than they were when pig got released I should know as I was playing before pig was even in the game stop making bait posts exhaustion perks are here to stay my advice for you is to practice and get better

i have 2000 hours on the game i'd say im relatively knowledgeable. Blights addons need nerfs, not his basekit and as far as I know thats the general consensus in the community.

Yeah, but when ds was 5 second all i see is unhooked survivor bodyblocking unhooker even if he is healthy. It was not perk only against tunneling, it was also perk against killer who plays "fair". SWF with 4 ds who just takes hits for each other because they have active ds was a nigthmare.

Current ds is absolutely fine if u r good looper and don't get down in open field. That's why best survivors even on tournament still using it. Because it still buys a lot of time in the right hands if killer tunnels you. The only difference is, you can't abuse him like you used to before, bc it's too risky. And that's great.

Bro we aren’t playing tournaments and most of the community is casual players I’m a good looper and still find decisive strike to be pretty much useless and yeah balance the game around swf when again most of the community is solo queue

Agreed. The "hug" tech is just a non intended feature that should have been patched out ages ago. I mean, let's make a killer super speedy AND make it so he goes 180... As for his add-ons. Yes, they are some of the most busted in the game. Alchemist Ring, Blighted Crow, Adrenaline Vial...they all need a hefty rework.

Why has it taken so long and yet still nothing has been done to balance this killer properly even though Blight is on a whole different level power wise compared to other killers?

it’s bad that killers get a couple good add ons if they are lucky but spirit and blight already two powerful killers got the most amount of busted add ons and let’s not forget how long it took for them to remove prayer bead spirit

What would you call a perk that has just 1 task to do and that thing is to protect survivor when being tunneled - but the perk does not do basically anything, if you get tunneled hard?

Trying to be very kind - I would call it bad design. No matter the effect - if it does not work upon being hard tunneled AND IT being anti-tunnel perk, then I don't care how good it is when being just soft tunneled. The perk is just bad. It basically asks killer to a, hard tunnel b, being abused by taking up to 3 hits. So no. Calling it bad perk is 100% deserved.

My point exactly 80s of endurance off the hook isn’t gonna do much when 99% of the time you get hit through the basekit bt anyways that’s why it is a waste of a perk slot especially when if you try to heal yourself or do anything the endurance goes anyways

  • @Annso_x said:

yeah, im still clapping survs even with all those surv sided maps, just its not fair for weaker killers like pig. also imagine saying someone bad without seeing them playing the game XD

You can kinda tell by you saying exhaustion perks need removing you must not be that great at the game but that’s my opinion and yeah let’s just balance the game around pig and trapper when 80% of the killer roster has stuff to deal with exhaustion perks

it leads you to lose-lose situation on pallets, it was absolutely broken. survs using it with mft, but its not much of problem right now.

Dude you are so bad if you complain about exhaustion perks you should just play survivor you obviously can’t play Killer

I think 4s would be enough maybe longer agains't high tier killers. Also I think it should not have skill check punishes new players most who need it the most. The timer also should be 80s like otr. Current ds could be just basekit.

i just wish behaviour would put it in a ptb and try it out cause yes I know tunnelling is necessary sometimes but it can make a game impossible to win and is a powerful thing on the killer side and I do think survivors should have a powerful tool to combat it

I don't intended to be passive-aggresive, but a lot of your comments and responses seem to show that you play very little killer because you refuse to look through the killers scope.

I don't wanna kick a dead horse because i've read 60% of the comments here, but I think you need to spend more time playing killer and get to an Average MMR, so that you can get a better of understanding that BL really isn't a crutch, but more of a band-aid fixing for a CORE GAME ISSUE that is still a problem for the game today.

P65 bubba play a good amount of killer because solo queue gets unbearable after a few matches and I do look through the killers perspective as a killer I have no desire to 4K every match and sometimes even throw just to have fun I always give hatch and never tunnel the only map I ever tunnel on is mothers dwelling because that map is unbearable for killer the whole killer side of the game is more chill and less frustrating because if you lose it’s your fault no one else’s and I’m a pretty good bubba imo
