I was playing a match as the doctor, on the Myers map, no biggie. Well I don't carry ruin any more because it is literal trash now. I got into my first chase pretty quickly and downed the person, but when I went to go hook them, three gens went off all st the same time. Now ######### is that bs. I've noticed a common theme among the threads regarding ranking systems, difficulty of matching skill level and "burnout factor" from having to try too hard. I know there is an MMR system on the horizon, which is good and I think it would couple nicely with the following idea for the rank systems. Some time ago I made the comment that if you scape as survivor then you should get rank progress, or if as killer you get 3 or 4 kills, then also you should get rank progress. This because those are the main objectives for each and it sucks that when you had a good match you get no progress or even lose progress because either the killer or survivor actually did poorly. Can expect that we will ever get replay feature in this game? I know you can record your games, but seeing it from the perspective of other players is something else. You should be able to see footage from all players, or maybe it should be the whole map rendered with a free camera, like in some games. Why is this important? I'd love to see the ability to break small trees and bamboos as killer. Started off thinking that Billy and cannibal should be able to go through it with chainsaws, but then thought that any attack from any killer should have the same effect (for example throwing a hatchet as huntress will break it, shred as demogorgon will break it, m1 attack from clown will break it etc). What do you think of players exploiting bugs in the PTB? Would you report them? What if they were trying to spread awareness of such bugs? What if the "victim" agreed to have the exploit used on them for the sake of demonstration? To me, I wouldn't report people during the PTB since I see it as a time to play casually and discover bugs. Since the ruin rework, I've noticed that the killers remaining in the high ranks are exceptionally good and have forced me to improve how I played as a survivor. I'm seeing a lot of unique perk combinations I never really saw and it's making me rethink a lot of my own builds. I have three builds I switch between, but lately I'd like more, for memes, casual or just to laugh. My three builds are Tenacity, DH, Unbreakable, DS Pretty standard BUT I use it as late game if possible. Like exit gates opened and killer is standing above me with his timer ticking down. Please for the love of god, make the ruin a permanent status effect instead of a hex totem. The effect of ruin isn’t even drastic really, and with enough pressure the game can still be won by survivors with or without the ruin. Let me know what you guys think.0 comments 11 views last activity

Just an idea I had. When introducing a new friend to the game, if I play SWF with them, they're going to get crushed going against a red-ranked killer. If they reverted matchmaking the way it was, the killer will get frustrated going against a red-ranked survivor, but what if that red-ranked survivor was handicapped? For me: -Spirit Fury, it's complete BS (and boring to counter by throwing pallets like a rank 20) and it makes trash killers who can't loop actually feel like they're good at the game. -Sprint Burst. It's freaking annoying to go or sneak to a survivor only to have him sprint to a window or a pallet. So I have been playing DBD for a little over a year now on PS4, I had a daily ritual to do with Plague that took me quite a few matches to complete. In that past I saw myself as an alright player as I usually have ranks between 12 and 8, having reached red ranks only once. Dead By Daylight is a 4V1 game. You need to have a much greater survivor population than killer population. By that, the survivor population needs to find the game to be as relaxing (not to stressful) and casual as possible to some degree so the likelihood of the player to come back is increased. I live in Russia near to China, thats why its nearly impossible to play Killers bcs people from China, Korea, Thailand, etc always have red ping and dodge my lobby. I've started to use VPN, finding game as Killer became possible, but... survivors became laggy. I use Windscribe. Question for the community should a survivor that quits, should it count as a sacrifice? If a killer quits it counts as the survivors escaped so shouldn’t a killer get a sacrifice for a quitter instead as a quitter bonus? Everything was ok, than she reached rank 16, and here we are with rank 9-10 survivora, or rank 17 with p3 swf going at that rank just to bully the killer. Result?
