Now that their Archives is out, I feel like there's no better time to talk about one of the biggest and most concerning issues of Dead by Daylight. The massive disconnect between player opinion of power, primarily focused on kills, and balancing around the Emblem system. How DO you balance a killer around that? Seriously, dodged 5 hatchets with massive distance and still got hit. Dedicated huntress is already strong as she is, but high ping dedicated huntress is a whole new can of worms that absolutely needs fixing. Fix the netcode bois, stop making new skins for a week and just fix it. Games with 10x the amount of players can prevent dedicated hits with worse servers. Back when people could leave while loading in: I spawned into game vs billy. Started doing a gen for like 20 seconds. He finds me and i run him for few minutes. I was so confused as to why no gens are popping after all this time. I looked down to realize that i was the only survivor in the match. For me it was the most fun I had in Dead by Daylight since before the Legion DLC update. For starters match making actually worked as intended, red ranks would play against red ranks. Whilst rank was still not that important, but if you were at red ranks you were confident that you'll get competent opponent and competent team mates. Hello, topic says all. Survivors have enough perks or playstyles to counter it. I know it can be frustrating but stop complain about it. It´s like with Noed, Bloodwarden and stuff like this. Anyone else playing and realizing they're just getting rank 20 killers consistently as of recent? I mean, I understand there isn't a huge amount of red rank killers, but I haven't had this problem until a couple days ago, I used to get a decent amount of red rank killers and at least purple rank killers.. Recently I found out that these two addons (pictures down below) don't work for some reasons. I have no idea when it started, but i believe and hope it will be fixed soon. I had a quick thought a moment after playing as Ghost Face vs three survivors with Spine Chill. I am not here to complain about the perk, because I have used it many times and find great use out of it, however I will say that I find it peculiar that Spine Chill (and OoO and others) has such a potent effect against stealth killers, that often give up movement speed or time to kill, in favour of be0 comments 31 views last activity

So, with the new patch, survivors can no longer take the game hostage by struggling on hook (Also denying the last survivor/s from their struggle points). Another way that survivors have been denied of taking the game hostage is by having a timer on when gates open. I really like to play survivor, but everyone is play with friends and I can't find a lobby. I'm a ps4 player and sometimes I wait 10 minutes to play as a survivor. When I finally find a match I can understand that the other 3 survivor are communicating and the don't care unusually to save from the hook. Lovely perk, only problem is that it drops the item exactly where the survivor was hit, even in front of hooks and vaults. I’m sure my fellow console players know where I’m going with this, but those that don’t know the interaction button and pickup item button are mapped to the same RT/R1 button. There is a bug with Laurie where if you put her prestiged chest with a non prestige head, her lower neck area still has blood. I was trying out cosmetics and I tried to do her Feathered Gold-Brown hair, prestiged chest and flower power skirt. I’ve been playing this game since it dropped on PS4 and honestly it the past 3 months playing as killer has become PAINFUL. It’s not fun anymore simply because gens get done in about 3 minutes now and no matter how hard you try once you meet an actual capable team you can’t stop the gens. Killers really shouldn't be able to see survivors' names in pre-game lobby. Some killers love to get their sick kicks by tunnelling/mori-ing survivors whom they've played against before.... and it's really disgusting and unfair. I played a game yesterday where a Spirit recognized one of my teammates and took a mori.... my teammate asked them why they used it and they responded very nastily. I played a game of customs with random people I got to play killer after a while so I chose wraith. In that game I played silent bell wraith with wall hack. I wanna put In that there was no rules plus they all ran spine chill I didn't camp or tunnel and plaid fair even let them heal in front of me. EV...VA...REE...DAAAAY! Every day, at least one time, I'm booted out of the game for unknown reasons and I get a DC Penalty for it. End game result screen shows that I DID NOT disconnect, usually the Killer shows a DC icon next to their name, while my icon shows I "escaped" but still... I get a DC Penalty. Hi developers. I thought and decided that if you do not want to see endless (well, or very long) chases in your game, then why don't you develop the game in terms of stealth? I mean, not just adding more grass, perks, but adding something new in terms of mechanics. At the moment, in the game is very poorly developed "hide and seek."
