Everyone is talking about Billy update but no one has mentioned this. Billy is currently bugged. His camera is messed up and the hitbox of both his swing and chainsaw are janky. Now obviously there is a lot to be said for great loopers than can extend chases for 3-4-5 gens using jungle gyms and mind games... not trying to make that sound unimpressive or unnecessary. But a great many players would be so much better just holding W and making distance as often as possible rather than waiting and trying to play every loop. Im currently at the Challenge Dwight the Brave (hide within 10m of the killer for 60 seconds as dwight WITHOUT getting caught) and its not possible to achieve this challenge without ruining the game. Why? About 90% of games I'm in now killer can walk about 5-10 feet and have clear line of sight in both doors. Make sit impossible to get out once your team inevitably dies from either sucking or vs a good killer. Now I'm not saying they should be opposite of the map every time just a little more balance on the distance. Obviously good killers deserve their dues. It's clear that they are normalizing the strength of killers. Weak killers are getting buffed. Top killers got nerfed. This is good because this lets them buff perks without making it too strong on the top killers and not needing to make it too strong for it to be good on weak killers. Did I miss a message from the devs about removing them? Is this an intentional test to try and prove that the DC penalty system wasn't needed? Is this a bug? So I noticed you get scoring events for many things in the game, but some are missing imo - Last survivor You get no reward for being the last alive and even get punished if you die as last survivor on 1st hook. I think there should be a reward for this. Survival - hooked everyone. So i know BBQ rewards it, but i think accomplishing this in a game should be rewarded anyways. I very rarely play survivor but when I do, I’ve always had a fondness for Technician Perk. Except, the last time I decided to put in some hours as survivor, a sound bug was preventing Technician from working properly. In all honesty, bugs can last a loooooooong time, or disappear only to reappear. Just wondering if Technician actually is reducing the sound by 8 meters or not. After not having my console for several months, finally hopped into dbd and had a challenge to kill 4 survivors by any means. I know Furtive chase is a bad perk, but I've thought about this scenario and it could have some use here. Use this perk with PWYF+Nemesis+Infectious Fright on the new Bubba. You will slowly decrease you TR in a chase because of Furtive chase and at 4 stacks you'll have a 16 meters TR. Why is it that 50% or more of my matches right now. Where all I want to do is get decent points from the event as Rank 3. Result in me getting paired with ACTUAL rank 20s on the regular? I know this can't be due to lack of players. Sometimes its even a red rank killer it puts us against. At least it would be somewhat fun if it was a RANK 20 killer because he would be terrible. So a mate and I had an idea about giving characters in game face masks. Make them cheap to buy and give some/all/most of the proceeds to a Covid-19 charity or research into a vaccine. Why you changed it in the middle of the event? That was the dumbest thing you could do. I spend 2 million BP before the 4.0.2 update and i got 5 event med-kits and 5 event fl. I understood for certain licensed characters it might be necessary but I wasn't happy with the idea for originals. However, after seeing this skin I'm definitely more open to the idea. I was thinking about it and DBD isn't in the same realm of other competitive games. Vocal people on forums always talk about how the game isn't balanced around the top players, shouldn't be balanced around the top players, and I've never seen any indication from the devs that said otherwise either. I, as well as many others, heavily disagree with the overheat mechanic, and find it contradictory to what they themselves have said they wanted to do with billy. In the developer update, BHVR have said that they are largely happy with how billy functions, and only want to give a small penalty for "misusing the chainsaw". If I get hooked right away (like literally right away) I usually end up the lone escapee. If I get hook last the Killer usually decides I'm their husband now and we burn in EGC together. 😢 Also if I go to a map where there is no offering, the next match will be the same map(if there is no offering). There is no justifiable reason to touch the hillbilly's power. I can list all the reasons why this change will hurt billy and downgrade him to yet another B grade killer, but i feel it would fall on deaf ears. There are plenty of posts already doing that. So he can't just hold it ready on someone on the hook and it is impossible to save. As he holds the charge it eventually stops and there is a period of time he simply cannot use it. Not sure how this is not a thing with how his power is. All of the perks have been brough up to a decent or good level. Tinkerer seems to be strong. It will make defending 3 gens much easier and killers that can traverse the map quickly can defend gens before they pop. The new Knock Out seems to have made slugging builds more viable.
