It's getting really tiring at this point. Everywhere I go on this forum I see crap like this:
Someone has an idea? "The devs won't do this because they only care about 💲💰🤑"
Someone reports or asks about a bug? "This probably won't get fixed until half a year later because bhvr is [insert role] biased 🤡🤡"
Any balance change (or even a bugfix) is made? "See? They only cater to entitled [insert role] mains ☺️☺️"
Like, holy hell. I get that y'all are frustrated about the balance and how changes are made very slowly but have you ever considered that making a working 1vs4 game is VERY HARD and it will never be perfect? Not to mention that Behaviour is not a gigantic AAA game company.
Changes will come to both sides in time. The devs aren't ignoring either of them. Stop making every single thing into an "us vs them". Feel free to tell your opinions and criticism to the devs but stop assuming they only care about one side. If that was the fact, the game would be dead already.
It is a loud minority. Unskilled players and console gopniks.

Just another person venting I would think. I found the story a little hard to believe as well. I am thinking just mad he did not get the easy win so his plan is to take away more things until he can win. lol
I am thinking just take away survivor perks and give them pool noodles and when the killer comes up they can swat them on the noise and say BAD KILLER and run. rofl .....sorry just being silly
Yes definetly. It is just the same with all the other key nerf posts. It is just a minority of bad players swarming into the forums after bad games. Like all the rant posts.

Hey devs if we could go ahead and remove hatch key or change what it does that would be great. I'm tired of being well on my way to a 3 or 4k and then watching the hatch icon appear out of no where in the in the left corner. I'm a rank 9 and just had 4 red ranks against the ropes only to watch them all escape cause one magically found a key. I think it's a little unbalanced that even though they didn't complete their objective three of them escaped. Two were DOH one was second phase and the other was dead already. So even though I was doing ok at the least I still get punished? Come on devs I love this game but some one needs to start putting some elbow grease into all the unbalanced bs in this game. And of course it's not just the killer side of things. There needs to be some major changes to both sides. Survs shouldn't get punished with NOED because they did well or facecamped and tunneled because they slapped the killer one time. Or even mori'd cause they got hooked once. It all makes for boring unfun games.
We had dozens of key post like this already.
Not a single one of them was right about keys being overpowered.
Keys are not unbalanced.
It does not allow survivors to just skip their main objective whenever they want.
They need to repair *amount of survivors* + 1 gens in order for the hatch to spawn.
Your scenario was that you claim you were on your way to 3 or 4k. You say 3 of them were alive. Further this means they repaired all generators except one for the hatch to spawn. How will you get a SAFE 100% 3k when they did all generators but one and 3 are still all alive? They can just split for the remaining gen.
It does not sound like such a hard winning game when 3 are still alive during the last gen.
Furthermore you claim that the hatch spawned and they instantly escaped. This scenario is insanely unlikely. It means after repairing the last gen they needed for the hatch it must have spawned right next to them.
I don't believe your story in the way you wrote it.

What about this thread made you think the suggestion was you can't play the game in co-op mode?
And suggesting not nerfing swf because not every squad is a death squad is just as smart as suggesting not nerfing ebony mori because not all killers use ebony mori. If something used to it's maximum potential is deadly for game balance, it ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be nerfed regardless of how "some" people use it.
While it's true that BHVR should bring solo up to swf level, do you honestly think that's going to happen in any reasonable amount of time. It's far more simple a solution to bring swf down to solo and killer level rather than raise the other 2 up.
Multiple problems with this.
These days the problem is not only SWF but also that survivors sometimes just post discord links in the chat.
4 SWF is only 4 per cent of player base. At least to date of 2018. I doubt much has changed about that.
Often killers confuse normal solo survivors with SWF.
In my opinion the big mistake behavior made was not giving solo survivors voice chat to begin with. I get that they wanted this for atmosphere and feeling.
But now any survivors who use discord or teamspeak, no matter if SWF or not, have a clear advantage.

I feel you dude. I end chases in 16 seconds and gens still pop yet these devs want you to “pReSsUrE GeNs” I doubt MOST of them play their own game. And when they do it’s not high ranks. They don’t understand that gen speeds even by themselves are too quick even without toolboxes. Thankfully the new resident evil coming in a month is releasing their own 4v1 asymmetrical, and I can see a lot of this fan base leaving to their or other games (which has already happened)
Player numbers on Steam are still stable last time I checked.
There are no real alternatives seeing as how bad F13 and Last Year turned out to be.
And Resident Evil... I wouldn't put smoke up a game's arse that is not even released yet.
Also the game keeps improving steadily for years now. Yes the matchmaking is ######### at the moment. But they are working on it.
The only thing for me is to protect the few gens next to the basement. This alone often guaranteed me at least a 2k in late game if not more. Also there is no toxic playstyle. Anything that helps you win is OK. If survivors flame you, just ignore them and move on. Too many killer players play too passive and nice but then complain they can't win.
-
Man I wish I knew why I never experience all these issues.
Except matchmaking recently. But that's being fixed.

This perk is completely fine and punishes survivors for ignoring totems. You failed to cleanse the totems, you pay the price.
This perk isn’t even good to begin with either, as it can be taken out before ever being put into use, while other perks in the hex category are far better and Devour Hope literally gives out a greater reward. So asking for this perk to nerfed is gonna be like Freddy 1.0 all over again to be nerfed, asking for someone who wasn’t even op to begin with to be nerfed because you want an easier game.
If you throw out the stupid “ThIs pErK iS oNlY cOuNtEReD eAsIlY bY sWf”, then use small game or detectives hunch, as those 2 perks, and even detectives, counters every hex perk in the game pretty much.

Hook suicide isn't reportable, there's nowhere where it says it is. I'm not staying in a match against a camper or with immersed teammates, you can't force anyone to do that
Hook suicide is literally helping the killer and therefor reportable. At least if the downing and hooking itself is without any effort to get away.

The point of an asynchronous game is that four players combined need to equal the power of one player. That means that the killer needs to be able to easily win against a single survivor. That isn't the case in this game. It's completely possible to exclusively chase one survivor for the entire game and still not win against that survivor.
There may not be tournaments, but plenty of streamers making their living off this game. They play it for 8-24 hours at a time, several times a week.
Thinking and adapting will only get you so far with the current balance. Try playing Wraith on Ormond vs decent survivors and tell me how far you get with "thinking ahead". You're literally limited by your move speed and the map.
In my opinion a Killer vs a survivor with equal skill can win against him quite easily if the survivor would be alone. There was a time in this game when you actually could, in theory, play 1vs1 when people disconnected during the loading screen and it spawned fewer generators. 1 killer vs 1 survivor with 2 gens. I highly doubt the solo survivor would have much of a chance. Or even when they are 2 from the beginning the chances of winning would be pretty much non existent.
Ardetha for example got outplayed 3 times by the same survivor because that guy was smarter than the rest. It doesn't mean that the game is unbalanced. Matchmaking is not the best, we can agree on that.
I know the streamers but I highly doubt that the streaming is their only source of income. As far as I know unlike professional players they are not playing 50 to 70 hours a week. If you know one who does I would be very interested in a link to subscribe. Also them being decent and streaming doesn't mean they are all automatically good. Many streamers and youtubers, just like most killer players in general overestimate themselves a lot, just like Ardetha.
I played competitive games in the highest ranks. It was usually the people who couldn't get there who were constantly searching for excuses and boasting about how good they were and how it must be the game whenever they lost. I feel that it is pretty much the same with DbD.
The only things I can feel which are odd is the matchmaking, especially recently. And also that some maps need a few additional changes, I agree on that. I think that many do over exaggerate though when it comes to the base balance of the game. It improved a lot during the years and is currently not bad.
I can not talk about Wraith. I do not play wraith, trapper or pig at all.

Now that DC penalties have been implemented, people are just instanty killing themselves on the hook as a "legal" substitute for DCing.
If you aren't going to play the game, don't queue up.
I agree but it is reportable. Report the people who do it on the endgame screen.
I know some people though who do that when they have a game breaking bug and want to avoid punishment for it.

"Survivors don't need to play skilled to escape and I think it's fair".... This is the definition of unfair. If you need to be perfect as killer to win against unskilled survivor, every killer in the game needs a massive buff, because if the survivors do play perfect, killer has no chance at all.
This is the entire problem with the game right now, it's balanced around giving bad survivors a chance against good killers, which makes great survivors dominate great killers. Even the guys that play this game professionally are getting stomped by good survivors, and that's a huge problem. When monto can't get a single kill with body blocker hag, you know the game is horribly unbalanced.
"This the definition of unfair."
It is an asynchronous Game. The pressure is usually on the power role. If the killer makes too many mistakes the survivors can win without too much personal skill, but just with sharing tasks and good timing which is in a way group skill. It is fair to the extent of an asynchronous game.
"Even the guys that play this game professionally"
To my knowledge there are no professional players who earn their money with playing DbD. It is not their full time job.
"it's balanced around giving bad survivors a chance against good killers"
Not really. It is designed so that Killers can't just stomp survivors with just simply chasing around random survivors. Most people don't get this because they associate killers with overpowered Hollywood Brutes, but in DbD as Killer you have to actually think and adapt a lot.
The nurse is a good example. And especially the video is also a good example. Many killer players associate blinking, hitting and downing survivors exclusively with skill. They watch the video and think "but he played so perfect" just because he downed them fastly most of the time, ignoring all the many mistakes that happened. He could have made it minimum 3k many times.
As I said in my older post, the video is a good example, he is good at blinking but bad at decision making. It is a big part of playing Killer successfully.
Being a one trick pony is not enough to 4k against high ranks.

Not agreeing with much here... Certain maps do need to be looked at BUT killer is easier now than it's ever been. I don't know what people want. Do you want survivors to spawn on the hooks? I'm red ranks and even with 4man swfI can reliably get at least 3k. Latest statistics released showed most killers getting about 70% kill rate (nurse was the outlier at around 40% iirc). Do you need 100% kill rate to be happy? Sometimes you just have to understand you got outplayed and move on...
Not easy enough for the instant gratification plebs yet.

Enough reports may cause them to hit that "kill switch" they mentioned, which if the DC penalty system is punishing people when it definitely shouldn't be doing, then they should totally hit that switch.

It's not seeing both sides, you're talking about something off in a different direction.
The topic is whether survivors should be punished for completing their objective too fast. Killers are punished for doing so, but honestly neither should be imo.
And as for your original post, if enough survivors DC or even just kill themselves on hook the killer wouldn't pip either.
I think it is OK that the killer gets more points in a longer match. Though there should be a win duration bonus factor for both sides being added in the end.
So if you win fast you would get extra points.

Skill has more to do with game sense than it does to do with either generators or chases. The survivors were good not because they ran him around a lot, but because they knew how to manage their time and they made the most of it. He also made several significant mistakes - tunneling Claudette was one, slugging every single time Infectious Fright went off and allowing survivors to get up again several times was another. Some of those should have been slugs, but some really should have been hooks.
As I said, he played well, but he didn't play perfectly. Optimal players don't miss hits, or get surprised by DS, or fail to assume that their opponents are pursuing their objective at all times.
Yes. I find it very obscure how people always think the killer role is as simple as chasing and hitting random survivors.
Most play without brain and then wonder why the fail the power role 1vs4.
And then they think it is entirely the games fault because "bro I downed some survivors in a game im like a pro player".
That's not how it works.
It's just like the people in other games I experienced who complain all the time instead of improving and then blaming the game for not ranking up.

Considering how hard it is to GET decent with nurse... Not far off. High skill cealing means that if you're considered good with that character you should do really well. But even a good nurse can't stop survivors, so what hope do other killers have?
He was good at blinking but there were many bad decisions, failures and just the lack of awareness throughout the game.

Why don't Survivors need to play perfectly then?
Skill is a 2 way street for Killer and Survivor. Asking 1 to be perfect and letting the other half ass isnt fair.
I disagree. In my opinion the survivor role i might be insanely boring by concept. But if the killer knows what he is doing, and for the record isn't just mindless one trick pony playing through the match like in the video, then survivors also need a high level of skill and need to do more than just sharing tasks and cooperate to actually stay in the game. If he would have done the right things at the right time the other 2 also would not have escaped.

This is not "balance" doing generators doesn't equate to skill and do you even play nurse, that wasn't just "decent" it was tremendously good reads the majority of the game.
He did a one trick pony play and made many mistakes. He knows how to blink but that's pretty much it. He missed many attacks, wasted a lot of time, picked up the wrong people repeatedly, and threw a safe hook because he got greedy twice.
The survivors stayed focused and achieved unhooking and repairing simultaneously.
Survivors do not need to play highly skilled in order to escape. If they share tasks efficiently it already applies a lot of pressure towards the killer.
In my opinion it is fair. Playing killer means to sweat. If you want a calm and chill round killer is not for you. At least not in higher ranks. You need to do more than just run after people and hit them. You need to think what to do next all the time. You need to stay focused on what is the best action all the time. You need strategy. For example when he downed the 3 survivors he should not have been greedy and chase for the 4th but hook one. He should have rather focused on killing off one in these scenarios, rather than trying to slug them all. Taking away their ability to multi task. Their only strength in the video.
In competitive games I played it was pretty normal to sweat, think and act more situational. I would not want it to be any different. Always planning ahead and keep the current overall situation in mind.
But in DbD people think that the killer role should be like the killers in Hollywood movies?

Dead By Daylight is all about farming stats to rank up. Whenever I load in a game I have a mental checklist of the things I need to do to rank up.
- Get 2-3 safe unhooks
- Cleanse any totem spotted
- Contribute to popping 2-3 gens
- Heal literally anyone that comes near me
- Have all my chases last at least 30 seconds minimum and get a pallet stun in each one
And that's Dead By Daylight. Focus on the checklist, rank up or at least avoid de-ranking. You have a team, but you're really just working on your individual stats. Worked to get me to Rank 4 last season.
The problem is that there is no voice communication. Without it you can't play as a team. Some players post discord age teamspeak links in the lobby though.
Using voice makes it a team game but then the game becomes a bit unbalanced.
I know the devs wanted a scary feeling with the game, but without voice it just feels incomplete.

Those sorts of survivors are a difficult to handle bunch, but here’s some tips:
- if you can equip Franklins Demise or Lightborn, then do so. Even Overwhelming Presence helps if you don’t have the other two. They’ll run out of battery faster.
- If you’ve already been blinded once, don’t continue to pick up downed survivors straight away. Look for others hiding in the vicinity. When you DO go to pick up a downed survivor, then where possible look at a wall or obstruction.
- Anyone that blocks the hook just smack them. In a lot of cases you’ll down one survivor and still manage to get who you’re carrying onto the hook.
- If they’re trying to flashlight blind you while you’re TRAVELLING to a hook, look up.

Bad matchmaking is my guess. Magical teleport sounds like dead hard. How many hours do you have in the game?
The "magical teleport" also could've just been a short connection issue. Often players miss hits or evade hits due to connection issues.
Looking up is usually a safe way to not get blinded. I agree. And on PC it should be no problem to do so.
I think the OP is a bit new to the game and because he isn't responding I am pretty sure this is just another rant thread.

*Greedy for 4 man slug, giving them the opportunity to get back on track*
"Where did he go?"
*Wastes precious time with searching the guy he chased and lost*
"He disappeared."
"Oh I missed."
"Where did he go?"
*picks up slugged survivor with shortest down time.*
"This guy just vanishes, I don't understand."
*Greedily chasing instead of going for the guy who went to unhook.*
"Oh I missed the hit again, too far away."
*Picks up slugged survivor with shortest down time again.*
"Oh this freaking tree"
*Misses hits again and again.*
"Gone again."
*Plays like a goody two-shoes throughout the game.*
"That was "top preformance" right there."
The guy surely plays a lot of nurse and knows how to blink. But that's the problem when you just start to rely on one trick pony style gameplay.
2k was a fair outcome. He could have made it 3 to 4k many times but failed.

Clearly, you're not good enough to play in those ranks, especially if this is how most of your games go. It's ok, just learn from the many mistakes you're obviously making in game. While accepting this reality, the game favours survivors at the start, it then favours killers the longer it progresses. You can't waste time being looped, you can't waste time chasing survivors around dead zones take a look at your perks and how useful they are to your playstyle, maybe try other killers, learn how to mind game survivors.
Don't pop in here jumping on the gEn RuSh Is A tHiNg bollox. It's only a thing against bad killers and the very minority of games where you play against optimal 4 man SWF squads (remember, if anyone plays optimally, it's going to be tough to go against unless they play optimally too)
It is the game's fault. Skill is a lie.

Why is government funding a problem? Are you okay? Why wouldn't they apply for government funding if it is available? Everybody does this when it is available as did other polish studios and they also received funds. It is a normal business decision every sane and smart person in charge of business will do.
Heavily priced, literally the default price for each AAA game (just without the usual denuvo crap for example) while they also delivered quality as to other publishers and devs. FIFA should be what we want to see more of in the industry, damn CDPR for not releasing a game every year with little updates and charging full aaa pricetag for it.
Might want to check the price of DBD ( all DLC, all cosmetics) and compare that to witcher 3? Yeah thought so, the so called "overpriced goty edition" goes for 50€ on steam, without a sale including both expansions and all the dlcs. Check dbd again even without cosmetics.
The game they received funding for will have seamless multiplayer, also gog 2.0 but it is okay you just love all these diffrent launchers from each and every publisher.
My masturbation? What the hell are you even talking about? Also when it is so meaningless to get Game of the year, what does that say about games that didn't get it? CDPR defined AAA+.
I never said it is bad that bhvr charges money for the dlc they do produce. I just like CDPR's approach more which makes you want to play the game, instead of delivering a feeling of guilt for not playing while the season pass is up so you do not miss out on certain skins. Quite fascinating isn't it? Witcher 3 wild hunt has right now more average players than dbd, a singleplayer game that is 5 years old.
Well I don't know about the feeling of guilt while not playing. Skins are very optional to me. But yes I'm also not a big fan of season passes.
I'm not saying government funding is a problem, but it is a bit unfair to compare CDPR with BHVR in many terms. I don't think Cyberpunk will have seamless Multiplayer as they already announced that they will focus on Singleplayer first and put in Multiplayer later after delaying it to September, which usually means never. I experienced government fundings also from within companies. Usually they let interns or students work on it to produce minimum results and grab all the cash from it and end up spending the money for their normal development processes.
You can't really compare the pricing philosophy with DbD skins, as they are a pure bonus and strictly a funding strategy.
Yes the Game of the Year Edition goes for 50€ for a Game that is, as you are saying 5 years old.
Yes skyrim is a singleplayer game too, much older and has more players than DbD and Wild Hunt. I don't see much point in comparing them though because their numbers are roughly the same. Also why should a singleplayer game have less players than multiplayer? It often also depends if the style and concept of the Game appeals to what number of people and how "compatible" they are.
Game of the Year was still a nice thing in the beginning, but these days they call it GotY as soon as anybody in the industry calls it that. It is not protected in any way.
It does not say anything about the Games who didn't "receive" it. Not only The Game Awards but anybody with some weight in the industry can literally "give" this status to games. You will not know at first if it is The Game Awards GotY, PC Games GotY, Gamestar GotY, BAOG GotY, Czech Game of the Year Awards, EG Awards GotY, etc., etc.
In case of the Witcher it was The Game Awards. They use a pretty randomly selected Jury of around 70 Bloggers or Games Magazine Envoys from all over the world which changes every year. There is not any further standards or any quality with their judgement process. You could compare it to Metacritic.com.
These days GotY is just a label.
Im not saying that Wild Hunt is a bad game or even that DbD is particularly good. But you are comparing apples with oranges and just throw in things im not sure you understand the background of.
AAA+? They defined software as a service in games? Because that is literally what it means and is around much longer than CDPR even exists. It literally is describing Battle Passes or DLCs etc. CDPR are not unique with this neither did they define it.
Im not saying Wild Hunt isn't a great game.
But I think you are over exaggerating a bit.

Not a great solution. Some people will spam the voice chat with music/screaming, there might be dogs barking or some other distracting noises from one or more players, and they might not all even speak the same language depending on the area.

How would you even know if they are SWF? According to the dev statistics it was a tiny minority across ALL platforms.
In my experience many killers confuse SWF with solo survivors who actually are playing well.
Some survivors also just share teamspeak or discord data in the lobby. So if you buff solo survivors they will have it all.

Yes so your whole point of devs want money, is not true. You do not know what they want, it is the company that demands the money. So as far as I am concerned I do believe that the devs do care about the product and have to walk a difficult path on meeting the needs of the community and the demands of the company. Do not take this as a bash of evil corporate greed, no, that is just the way business works since the employees do want to have a raise from time to time, bonus payments for vacation, christmas and so forth.
Approaching that can be done in diffrent ways, CDPR, showed a way how to do this, something i wish more devs/publishers would take an example from. I know crunch is involved and their might be stuff that I do not see because luckily, I am just on the consumer side of things.

Reskins? Yeah other publishers usually ask you to pay 10/15 bucks extra for the super special edition with the skin of x, which totally wasn't cut out and all. Not only skins, animations and quests. Want to argue on this level? Fine, check the cosmetics for dbd asking 50% for the baseprice of the game.
The actual big content dlc were so good that they got game of the year but hey, please understand I do not want to paint a bad image of greed, I just wanted to show with CDPR that one can approach income in diffrent ways. No DRM etc.. not saying DBD is not consumer friendly but that season pass is not something to brag about imo.
"I just wanted to show with CDPR that one can approach income in diffrent ways"
Yes like extensive government funding, heavily priced singleplayer games and milking a hyped franchise in every way possible.
How dare BHVR charge money for the DLCs of their lower priced, more expensive to sustain and work intensive to maintain multiplayer game.
And I don't want to stop your Witcher masturbation, but Game of the Year means nothing these days. It is the Emmy of the Gaming Industry. It is not about quality it is about hype and influence.
And they were pretty fast to put together an overpriced GOTY Edition. Which is pretty much the first thing companies do with GOTY.

If this is the level of play all the GeN rUsH iS a ThInG, DeCiSiVe StRiKe Is OvErPoWeReD players talk about? Haha you deserved to get a 4 man escape.
4 survivors still alive at the end, I mean wow, you sweating into a rank you can't play?
You pick up a survivor, that intentionally baited you for the DS hit. I will mitigate this with being unsure as to how long he had left on his DS timer, but I will guess it wasn't that long.
You then down the next survivor, great! Then down the recently unhooked survivor, who was also baiting you for their DS hit.
You then proceed to hook her, right next to the gate! With another hook option further away or just slug her a little further away.
You then took the other survivors quite obvious DS strike, though tbf, there wasn't really many good options for you at this point, regarding Kate, but picking her up was just stupid as it gave time for the 4th survivor to unhook the survivor on the hook you just put her on.
You then down and pick up the survivor that was literally unhooked 5 secs ago....with quite obvious repurcussions.
The other survivor breezes past you, customary thanks for being a nooby killer teabag.
Where as, I would have left sailor boy with his ######### flashlight skills on the ground. Downed the meg and the Kate, would mostly likely have slugged the meg at some point between the back of the mound and the further hook. I would have then gone back for meg 2, who would have either been trying heal sailor boy or ######### around, depending on his proximity to the exit, I would hit meg 2 or picked up sailor boy, hooked him/slugged him other side of the mound. Maybe meg 2 would have stayed close to meg 1/sailor boy to heal/rescue them, leaving you open to the possibility of downing her too. You turned a very potential end game 3 kills, although definitely 1 kill, into a 4 man escape, thanks to your own bad decisions.
Survivors are only as overpowered as how crap the killer is.
Also, what the ######### was that perk loadout?
Chew your own fingers to the bone, they don't deserve to be holding your playstation pad.
Jokes, I wouldn't have done any of that, those survivors would have died long before the gate was open.
NOoOo sUrVivOrs aRe OP.
Pleeeease NEEEEEERF!!11!!!!!
Most people think they deserve to play bad and still 4k. That is literally their "balance" problem.
Most other games with a ranking system punish brainless plays a lot more than DbD.

Can anyone tell me if BHVR are actually acknowledging SWF whether on comms or not has an advantage over solos and even more when on comms (which mainly happens).
I was so bored waiting in survivor queues I thought, let's try killer again and yes just had a green rank killer play a 4 player SWF on comms.
Are BHVR going to balance this game as rework nerfs seem common but surely this is killing the game?
The problem is that even random players sometimes share discord links for voice communication.
So this is not an SWF problem rather than a problem with the naive approach, thinking that only SWF would communicate.
The game should have given all survivors the possibility to communicate ingame And then balanced it around that.
I understand that the devs wanted to give it a more horroresque touch by not allowing communications.
But that was still a bit naive, because in like every sixth survivor game of mine or so people post teamspeak or discord links or steam chat in the pre match chat.
Now there is the problem that changing this would make some perks like kindred completely obsolete.
They would need to rework a lot.
As to true SWF frequency I can not tell about consoles but on PC it should be rare to see SWF teams.
The difference between SWF teams or random survivors using voice comm is little tough I would say.
I do not think that in this stage of the game there can be done anything about it anymore.
I would just advise that as soon as you see signs of them being in voice comm or SWF go rough on them and try to salvage as many points and hooks as possible. Tunnel, camp it doesn't matter. Try protect gens that are closer to the basement. It doesn't matter in this situation if the other gens that are far away pop. Focus the weakest link and hook in basement and try to kill him off.
These are games that will not allow you to build up slowly or rotate around all gens. You have to seize the moment. Don't play for strategic 4k. Salvage what you can. Like scorched earth tactics in war.
Sometimes I got even 1 or up to 3k in the worst and almost hopelessly lost and bad games in the end vs SWF or teams with comm.
Good luck.
Oh and maybe buy a PC.

So I just got a 4k as doctor. I am currently rank 10 and use brown add-ons (low on blood points due to systematically leveling up my killers) and they had two rank 5's and two rank 4's. I didn't tunnel, nor did I camp. I type in ggwp in the end and they say gg. Then they notice I had NoEd and then said, nevermind, no gg because of it.
How does one compute that thought process? They cleansed my Ruin right after they completed their first gen. So I was already down to three perks left. Then I kill them all, except for one who died on her second hook because they took too long to get her. NoEd never activated since there was still one gen left, so I was basically playing the match with just two perks! Imagine if killers were able to completely two negate perks like survivors could and limit them to two perks for most of a match, they would riot.
I hardly ever see Killers complain in chat after a match, nor do I ever see them insult someone as often as I see survivors do. Are Survivors a bunch of 14 year olds these days?
I just don't understand Survivor mains thought process. Even if NoEd does activate, it would have completely been their fault. Seems like Killers can't get respect unless they go in to meme and let everyone escape. Why play the game if you aren't willing to lose sometimes? Just go play some Animal Crossing or something if you can't handle it.
A friend of mine plays on PS4. But I play on PC. He has the same toxic people in his matches, you are experiencing.
Additionally from what I read in the forums the experience on PC is a lot better.
People are a bit more calm.
I also sometimes have toxic people who verbally abuse or have a ######### attitude in my games. But very rarely.
-
It is not even real teabagging. For it to be valid you would need to stand on top of your opponent's corpse. The way people do it in DbD makes it just sport exercises.
It is pretty pathetic.
-
My condolences.
I stay silent as survivor.
As killer I usually ask Good survivors if they are swf. Most of the times they are not.

Yep potential toolbox rework is coming in the future. Thankfully i've only ran into a coordinated SWF with 4 toolboxes a handful of times over the 1k hours i've put into killer over the last few years. It's always been a very rare occurrence for me, even at red ranks.
There are not many 4 man SWF teams around. At least not on PC.
I can actually only confirm very few times I ever encountered them.
Most people just want to find excuses for a meaningless loss that hurt their ego.
Most who go SWF play duo.
-
I'm not angry or overly aggressive. I am just mildly annoyed by people who constantly misbehave and then pull back in some "oh but I didn't mean it" or "oh you just misunderstood me" way to pretend that there was no initial misbehaviour and then try to victimise themselves.
Have a nice day. And no hard feelings.

Says the guy who is literally the only one in this thread to have insulted someone. Yes, I must be the toxic one.
Somebody who pretty much tried to intimidate a player seeking advice with his toxic attitude maybe should be able to handle a mild insult.
He did not say the perk was overpowered.
He did not provoke such a response at all.
Stop trying to make every post a survivor vs killer thing.

(clearly someone only read one post and made a rage post - enjoy prying your foot out of your mouth)
I read your pretentious late defense posts. Ridiculous. You tried to say OP would complain about the perk but he didn't.
Everything you said after that was pure alibi.
People like you make these forums toxic.

Whispers doesn't give an exact location...how is that so hard to counter, and are we really complaining about "whispers" of all perks now?
He was asking for advice... Maybe he is even a new player... And you prick have nothing better to do than complaining and trying to start some weird debate.

Different bugs can take different amounts of time to fix. It's not a matter of preference. In fact, the same update fixed an issue with Freddy's trap placement (which surfaced the same time as the Decisive Strike issue). We'll also typically have a section in the bug fixes specifically for killers in larger updates, like this:
Man, Peanits. Don't confuse us with your actual facts. All we want to do in this forum is blindly insult the devs and behave like children.

Exactly. The devs can't replicate these bugs, how would they be able to fix them?
Only "bug" I experienced frequently is the hit box bug. And I'm sure that is because of players with a bad connection.
And yes as long as they can't replicate certain bugs they can't fix them. Only bugs that can be reproduced on any machine can be easily fixed.
I never experienced any of the bugs mentioned in this thread.
I'm also pretty sure that there are more bugs, even with UE4, on console than on pc.

Well all survivors are the same character, hag and billy are just one of many. Sounds are far from a simple solution and will likely require some form of engine fix. Thanks for admitting you only care about your biased narrative and you are not open to logical debate over the matter.
The chainsaw bug is just the same delay / hit box bug everybody is experiencing with all characters.
As for hag I'm not sure if it is a bug im not a hag player.

I will agree they do get a bad rep, but honestly I think it is because they lack a good PR team/training. They say things that are misleading or that they go back on way too often, but if they had someone(s) to watch their mouths; they would do a pretty good job.. So far. Or just play another game. Yeah. Those remarks are just bad PR.
As for the ending, it is MIS I'm going for in specific. To say it is not possible is a stretch, it completely is in concept. As for actual execution... Ehh? I can't imagine proper implementation of such. I can picture the concept and how to possibly.. Maybe do such on a smaller scale. Yet it is just very outlandish to see it actually working.
Yes. I personally always judge the product and features. I am more interested in their game dev skills rather than their PR/Social skills. But I agree that they should have watched their mouths, talking to their community directly.
Well I've seen people putting together algorithms to successfully predict disease outbreaks weeks before they actually happen. With a pretty small team even.
Also lots of other crazy things. So I think if that can work, an MMR System for this game should also be very well possible. I think it is more a question if they have enough time for it. Most things in the industry fail because they have not been given enough time.
