This is your best argument for why people shouldn't be considerate in game?

Sports have rule sets around decency between players and penalties for a lack of. Dbd does not. It's left up to the players to decide to either care about the other human beings also trying to enjoy the game or not.

A person getting tunneled didn't make a mistake by being offhooked outside of their control, and there is a misunderstanding about the game being a team game, like a sports team. Unless you are a SWF, dbd matches are comprised of individuals who have to work together toward a common goal. But they are not a team. They did not select each other. So it is ridiculous to hold an incapacitated person accountable for the neglegent actions of someone else. Assuming they are neglegent because a lot of the time its less a wreckless decision and more the only decision because killers seem to gravitate to the hook.

Just don't be a dick. It's not rocket science and there is no reason to be, unless someone else is being a dick.

Bullshiz they are not a team. The only way to win as survivor is and always should be, team-play. That's why SWF is so powerful, their team-play is par none. Mistakes made by one person definitely should affect the entire team, there are even perks for that (Thana, infectious, mad grit, etc)

  • Ghost face can use his ability right as the unhook happens so that you are not technically "in his terror radius" when you're pulled off, therefor no borrowed time. Nice little bit of tech with Ghosty boy and also one of the reasons he's considered pretty darn good.

  • If the killer can't catch the first person they find (they have to find them quick too) and immediately find another person to do the same. Then they lose... That one survivor could just throw pallets almost instantly and it would still give the team enough time, at say 20 seconds per pallet which I feel is being conservative.

    Shid's busted.

  • Because I like being the seeker more than the hider/runner. Feeds into my primal instinct to hunt or something like that.

Apparently decent Nurse should always result in 4k because Nurse. Good logic fellas.

Considering how hard it is to GET decent with nurse... Not far off. High skill cealing means that if you're considered good with that character you should do really well. But even a good nurse can't stop survivors, so what hope do other killers have?

Camping, tunneling, mori's, map offerings, object of obsession, DS/BT/DH, gen speeds. That's probably 90% of what I hear people complain about in post chat.

Sometimes tombstone if I am on a tombstone spree.

Stories! NOW! That is the real purpose of this thread. Not even just for killers, survivors welcome!

  • If 90% of the time you're downing survivors as soon as you see them, all that is left is for them to do gens and save people when the opportunity comes up. Sure some minor mistakes where made, every human will make some. Those survivors however, where potato's in every aspect that didn't involve holding M1 or saving a team mate. As @Chewy102 said, Nurse is the only killer who could have done ANYTHING, here. As decent nurses are the only killers who CAN down good survivors so soon after seeing them.

I think the Devs would be too scared from the backlash that they would get if they were to touch DS. The salt would be enough to fill the Grand Canyon.

They said the same thing about ruin, but since DS is a survivor perk it probably wont be touched for real.

  • Sometimes the survivor rulebook really does feel real, yeah know... The only other thing I could have done was chase the obvious bait into God window. Seriously, some people really don't like smart killers

  • Honestly the new matchmaking just sounds like MMR in league, CS:GO or Rainbow 6. Those games do pretty well with matchmaking so if DBD uses them as a framework then I think they can probably fix it up to be pretty good.

Tru3 camps to win, his video about gen speed is perfect evidence. 2 hooked in basement and he saw both other survivors.... He just sat there. I think this is what OP is talking about. He even says "there's nothing they can do". Great, I like playing games where there is nothing I can do, it just sounds so ######### fun.

Almost like how a good amount of the time most killers can't do anything about 3 gens being done before the first down. Real fun that.

  • I consistently get over zealous and swing just a TINNNNNY bit to early, then proceed to say "Screw it." and just start taking the balsiest drift-king swings you've ever seen. Usually doesn't work out.

  • Came here specifically to see if this was a thing we where ACTUALLY doing. So yes, yes I will be. If we can't have any fun, then neither can anyone else.
