It frees up my other hand to go and grab a drink while I can still play. Idk it’s more convenient as I won’t really have to worry about not hitting a skill check, because now when I’m working on the gen and have to reach for something on a table I can easily hit the skill check rather than get off the gen.

Old Sabo when hooks didn’t respawn because the only way to counter this was with basement hooks. So imagine a entire swf going around Saboing every hook in the map, it made it almost impossible to hook anywhere except basement
-
Shadowborn or Beast of Prey. (probably Beast of Prey because even though Shadowborn doesn’t really do anything… I still love it for being it’s own thing, and it’s pretty mean on Blight)
Edit: numbers messed up on me
Beast of Prey:
- doesn’t help you in chase
- Undetectable statues effect does nothing in chase
- Undetectable ends immediately after chase
- Takes up a perk slot for something like Hex: Ruin or Pop
- Shadowborn:
- Doesn’t help you in chase
- the only time this will help find survivors if they’re in your FOV already
- Same as number 4 for Beast of Prey
- has a niche effect that isn’t even noticeable

Doctor’s laugh is so original because of how inhuman it is, you know that whoever is laughing like that… is someone that definitely wants to kill you, Clown’s laugh gives off a 20-year smoker vibes to it but very memorable, Freddy’s laugh is very cool and gives off “you’re playing my game” kind of vibes to it which is pretty cool, The Deathslingers laugh is kinda basic even though I do like it, and The Trickster’s laugh is more psychotic and more frequent that some of the other ones but similar to Deathslinger’s. They’re all really good but The Doctor’s laugh comes from someone you already know that’s lost their mind and the others could be replicated in real life except for The Doctor’s because of how devoid of humanity it is. The only one I would say that almost beats it is Freddy’s because, as I said before, it gives off a “there is no winning” vibe because of how demented it is and how in character it is, but it’s so quiet that you can barely hear it half the time. You only really hear it when you hit a survivor and hitting a survivor is loud and their grunts of pain mute the laugh even more unlike Clown’s or Doctor’s which you can usually always hear.

I think everyone for the most part agrees already, I feel this poll is a bit out of date and looks like something that would have been discussed at the time Discussions about DS were a dime a dozen and no changes had been made yet.
For the first time in years ever since DS was released, it is finally in a good spot. It protects survivors who needs the protection, but prevents survivors from abusing that protection in ways that overtly progress the match. Which is exactly what the community was asking for. I don't think anyone is looking for any further changes to DS anytime soon (unless it's to add lockers to the list of things which deactivate it, which was on my original list and I'm still open to making happen).
Now if only the devs would take that same thoughtful action where and apply it towards perks like COH or NOED.
i wanted to see if people changed their minds like if they were with it as first then they realized it wasn’t as good as they thought it would be and then they’re against it kind of thing. Because people may have after thoughts about this
-
Probably NOED if I’m playing survivor, but if I’m playing killer… probably Dying Light as it’s a perk that buffs the survivor
-
I’m with Scott Jund on this and just make it to where you have to get hit for No Mither to be revealed

If you unhook another survivor, DS should not be active.
It was annoying when survivors would just unhook chain each other due to DS and there wasn't much you could do besides slug everyone. Don't go for unsafe rescues if you don't want to risk being hooked.
I totally agree
-
None of them are OP but The Artist is the strongest out of all of them with her power that’s a good anti-loop and survivor finder
-
They would have to do it right, but I think Big Daddy could be an interesting killer. They would have to make his power around the little sister and the map would have to be underwater but I think they could make it work
-
I would rather it be competition that makes Behavior work harder to make the game better which is a win win because I get a new game with new interesting gameplay and it makes DBD try to make their game better and something that is more fun to play.
-
I’ll play as her but we’ll see about maining her
-
I loved how Freddy used to be original. I think it should be more of a mix because right now he’s one of the most boring killers to play as because of how simple he is. Maybe do something like you can use the nightmare realm to move your progress bar towards your m2 (like Myers) expect it could be something like a ranged attack that could insta down, i don’t know but at least he would be fun to play or at least different

hehe English army go British

I think "The Woodsman" is actually an incredibly unique and provoking name- and I'm disappointed that more people didn't vote for it.
Although I get it conjures up images of a crazed lumberjack, I think it's still aptly fitting enough. Jason literally lives in the woods around camp crystal lake killing camp counselors and anyone foolish enough to wander in and encroach on the hallowed grounds where he drowned.
The Slasher is such a generic name you would skip right over it on a list of the killers in DBD, and it really doesn't hold up over more creative titles like "The Shape" and "The Nightmare" or "The Executioner" and so I hope that wouldn't be the real pick.
The Slasher reminds me of that Janitor killer from Last Year: The Nightmare who is their mascot killer that goes by the exact same name. So there's also that.
But generic is sometimes good. For a killer that started a slasher genre it would make sense you would name him after something he’s associated with like naming Freddy Kruger “the nightmare” because he kills you in his dreams and it makes sense. “The woodsman” sounds cool don’t get me wrong, but you don’t think of Jason with that name. If I told someone the name “the woodsmen” and they would probably would have no idea who I was talking about even if I told them the person came from a horror movie, but if I told you the name “the slasher” instead, one of the first people you think about is Jason. You don’t want a name that no one recognizes, you want the name that people that don’t even play the game realize who they’re talking about.
-
VHS because it already looks really good in beta and The Ash game because that’s just sounds awesome as an Ash vs. Evil Dead fan
-
Scrappy-Doo so I can punt that little thing all the way to the moon so hard it will be like dropping the sun on him twice. Seriously tho probably Spooky Space Kook, and Captain Cutler because they had some really cool vides about them
-
Change the trickster oversight and this perk is a great perk
-
Either 2vs8, trading/crafting system, or a story mode because those would be cool
-
Probably twins but I haven’t played against them in a while so take it with a grain of salt
-
I like it because of its lore. Every year these pus flowers appear in the entity’s realm and has to get rid of them each and every year because it’s the entity’s only know weakness. It wouldn’t match the lore if it was “these flowers appear every year but now they don’t for some random reason.” That isn’t good and if it’s the only thing in the realm that gives us more knowledge on the entity because these flowers are it’s only know weakness and if it just stops then what’s gonna weaken it now. It’s like saying that the only way to defeat a boss is to throw bombs at it and then halfway through the battle the game got rid of bombs, then what are you gonna do. From a lore standpoint the blighted season needs to stay because it’s the only way we know how to kill the entity. (From a cosmetic stand point you can get rid of it but the blighted skins look really cool)
-
I’m sorry but necromancy sounds really cool for dbd
-
If you’re from America you pronounce it No Mither, but if you’re from The United Kingdom you pronounce it No Myther.
-
Mr. X or Jack Baker because they would make sense and everyone loves to hate them
-
Otz did a video about ghost face with it and you can get him out of his power behind a wall where, with normal resolution, you can’t do it’s terrible
-
Kindred and Open Handed so you can see where the killer is going from farther ranges and helps if you’re going to unhook and the killer makes a u-turn so you can predict it. Also helps in chase to where the killer can’t mind game you.
-
Blight because you get him so rarely and he’s already a fun killer so when you get him again so when you play him you’re like “cool a blight, haven’t played against him in a while” which is always a good attitude to have against a killer rather than “ugh a *killer name here*” kinda thing
-
Supervillain ace or a Myers skin because that would make sense

I had an Idea
When there is Hex a survivor has Two Options they can Cleanse or Destroy the Totem.Cleansing a Totem takes 6 seconds & deactivates the Hex that there is but does not Destroy the Totem. If a Hex is Cleansed or Destroyed the Hex goes on a Cooldown & after that Cooldown the killer can re place the Hex.Survivor within 8 Meters of a Hex could hear it.
Some Hexes would receive a Small Nerf to Compensate
Ruin has a 60 Second Cooldown when it gets Destroyed & losses 20% of it regression speed when it gets everytime it gets Replaced,
Devour has a 60 Second Cooldown when it gets Destroyed & losses a 2 Tokens when it gets Replaced.
Undying is no longer a Hex & it just auto Places any Hex if they are gone
i actually like this because they’re like should I cleanse the hex or use it as a boon adding more of a dilemma of should I do this or that

Either Harry Mason because I think it would be cool to have that family dynamic or Jason Sunderland because he's one of the most memorable characters in the franchise.

That's the point. Since she came out I've never once played a match where someone said, 'Sure, I'll play with No Mither just because the killer wants me to.' They always use the pools. If they're smart sometimes not right away, but it is always available, and it takes about 1/10th the time to use a pool as it would to heal with self care. Plus, they are everywhere. The killer has to be pretty good at aiming to even hit once with the damage shot, which is the only benefit from all of that downside. Definitely the worst killer in the game.
To say the Plague nullifies all healing perks tells me you need to rethink this. The Plague hands everyone that was even slightly concerned about healing the fastest healing device in the game, and also gives that same healing benefit to everyone that wasn't prepared to heal themselves at all.
All the killers on this list of 'worst' are better. Legion sees everyone on the map, and Legion and Pig both give survivors secondary objectives that keep them VERY busy (mending/traps). Myers downs everyone easily one after another. Trickster is a machine gunner that basically has Plague's damage with better aim all of the time. Trapper takes some work but is pretty easy for anyone that knows how to trap a building/shack. Finally, the Twins, which I don't know enough about to comment on. They don't give the survivors insta-heal pools every five steps though, so they aren't as bad as Plague right away.
Yeah, but if you use that "insta heal" gives her access to an almost instant down. Only one drop can take you down one state and you can cover such a large if you charge it up for a second. That instant full heath state doesn't matter if her ability can down super easily.

Why not? It’s not a huge power change and it saves some map roaming.
Yeah, he also loses the add-on dependent killer title and people that play him don't have to bring a add-on just for this simple fix so we can have more add-on combos. Like tar bottle mixed with iridescent stone instead of a trapper bag every time.

You left out the actual worst, Plague. No other killer gives you full heals all over the map. No other killer has to work so hard to power up with such a huge detriment. Plague is mechanically the absolute worst killer.
But the plague changes the entire match you play, yeah she isn't the best but no where close to the worse. If only one survivor cleanses then that's at least a couple downs. And if no survivors cleanses then if there medkits won't do them any good; self-care and other perks that have to do with healing are instantly unusable and she gets one free corrupt purge. So that makes her pretty good good in my opinion.
-
It's fair to do it whenever, if you're losing a game then camping for an extra hook state is perfectly fine. Don't let survivor mains that have never played killer tell you that you can't camp because there is no rule stating that you can't camp. If you absolutely need to camp don't feel bad about it. You're just trying to win the game... like you're supposed to.
-
Killer main here and I don't cry about dead hard, it's fair and balanced and if you learn to be patient with your hits then it's usually useless. And yeah it's annoyingly present in every game but it's a exhaustion perk, It's obviously going to be a top tier perk.
-
Yes she may be the strongest killer in the game but her skill level is so high some of the best players in this game can't play her well because of her high skill threshold. I can't even get one blink hit at all even with baby survivors (true story there)
-
if you wanted to implement this, it should proxy chat. So you have to be quiet most of the time so the killer won't hear you.
-
@MadLordJack said:
There is absolutely no way that any form of killer with a power even slightly linked to looking like (and thereby hiding as) a survivor will ever work in this game. It doesn't matter how it's implimented or how large a part of the killer's kit it's supposed to be, it's just not happening.
Because people play with their friends. A lot. Far more than most people seem to realise. Like, seriously, most of my killer trials are against 3-4 person SWF teams. It's kind of how the game is balanced at this point.
But if they ever let you opt out of swf (which is probably going to happen) it wouldn't be bad because no one could make callouts to say "that's the killer" but I understand you.
-
hook because you have to watch your teammates crouch walk over to you because they brought urban evasion while a bubba sits in the corner waiting for something to finally happen
-
Steve is the best prettiest. But on the list it's Felix
-
I think instead of making the zone bigger it should give you more of a progression bonus. Like a 15%/20%/25%
-
A good death-slinger or blight is fun to go against... but spirit or hag isn't really fun to go against because it's kinda the same old story
-
Even though it may not seem like it to some people, 3 months to make and release a chapter and make it but free is almost impossible. I think they should make it where it's 3 1/2 months or 4 so they have extra time to work out glitches.
-
SCP-106 can walk through walls and telport and (if I remember correctly) knock you out by touching you. Now, ignoring the one-touch thing, he would be amazing. His power could be where he can hold m2 button and he moves super slow (like crouching speed or slower) and if he touches a wall he can phase through it. He can get understandable after he goes through and he can have a penalty where he can't instantly hit afterwards. Making certain loops harder but isn't the end of the world if he goes through a wall that your near. Making where during loops he can phase through the wall or pallet and punish you if you're not watching out, but makes it to where it's useless outside of a loop. Making him balanced (in my opinion).
-
Ok so two things, 1. Myers already has a movement penalty in tier one and also has a shorter lunge range, 2. If you mean make it to where he only has the movement speed debuff then I think it would be ok and I personally I think he's benefits getting out of tier one. I do think it could be good buff to his tier one... but you could run trail of torment to get a similar effect but be out of stage 1. Do I agree with you? Yes. But he's supposed to be better out of tier 1 (I do agree with you but 1. Can't change answers and 2. I think there are better ways to do it.)
