legit, I think I have only survived this map half a dozen times since it’s been released and it was all because the killer was new or just not a killer main. Most of the time I get the average killer that refuses to go into the castle and just monitors the grounds or I get a trapper or hag that just makes the castle a death trap. went against a good Dracula, and it was the most annoying match near SM levels bad. Between hug teching as Wolf, insta hit while switching modes with zero cool down, his zoning m2 fake with a power that makes a loop completely useless or a 50/50 whether he can hit over it and also not in sync with positioning. as someone that’s been grinding survivor tome challenges and just play solo survivor. This glitch has improved solo significantly for a couple of reasons. I’m getting more killers spreading out hooks, not immediately trying to tunnel someone out AND the ones that tunneled out quickly don’t automatically shift the game in one direction and it stays competitive. I was doing a killer daily, zero slowdown as it was the modifier. 4 bnps and they brought a game map. I was playing an m1 killer, and every single person I chased pre-ran and pre-dropped only caught them twice being out of position otherwise I had to bloodlust and full brute force everything. so I just went against a streamer, playing silent chainsaw Billy because he’s “going for jump scares” He downed someone, hooked them in the middle of the cornfield with zero cover then proceeded to hover around the hook on harvester and downing anyone that tried to unhook. Gens flew so quick before I could get 1 survivor to lose a health state. I’ve seen some really spicy end game chats so I thought I should post this. If you are struggling and getting tilted by the killer’s gameplay or teammates farming especially during a BP event. For some, not using any BP offerings or only using cakes or envelopes is the best way of dealing with it. Usually when a new chapter comes out, I steam through the survivor achievements and then 3 months or so I'll do maybe adept on a killer. So I’m 3 levels away from reaching the goal. I stopped playing this survivor because of myriad of issues around p50. I have exhausted all cakes on all other survivors and killers that I have. So today I decide to play using the cakes I have and just power through. So yesterday when I played survivor, I got killers hard sweating as if they were scrumming against comp teams at 10 in the morning. Most of the matches, the match was decided in the killers favour before the first gen popped mainly due to being matched with soccer moms that just discovered lithe as a perk and abandoned their sprint burst ways. So today, I’m working on my generalist achievement this morning. Seriously, my first match today I had the displeasure of being bled out on the floor because I was one of the last two left. You might ask, what did you do to make him do that? Well… nothing. I had minimal interaction with him as he tunnelled 1 person out immediately and their friend left on hook right after. Lots of tough matches and Twins downsides would eventually tilt me and I would move on. I was thinking about this the other day about different types of horror that could fit in the game. Hunger Games as a dystopian type came to mind. I do think a survivor mid chapter with an interactive map would be really amazing… you have things like the giver, the maze runner and divergent etc that were massive in the ‘10s. is this type of genre one that would fit into DBD? So today, it was a big struggle to break 30k bp in my matches. It was especially noticeable today as I had an unhook as Dweet daily to complete. It took 5 matches to unhook 3 times. Most of my matches went as follows: First - I immediately get on 1 of the gens within a 3 gen. Mine was very recent and I have been able to recreate it another time. Basically, I had a Wesky that only had eyes for me. He had everything in his favour, very bad survivor map RNG and survivors opening up chests and totems. The hard tunnelling has gotten so bad, at least in my soloQ games. To define it, I mean only going for 1 player at 5 gens remaining. It’s a strategy that works… especially against soloQ, it incentivises itself as a 3v1 greatly stacks the odds in the killers favour. After my 4th match in a row with a killer having 4 gen regression perks which 2 of them used to max efficiency resulting in 4k with 1-0 gens done against soloQ.
