Yesterday in the Chaos Shuffle I've cured a survivor who was giving up. We were on my strongest map. The Meg was my third hooked survivor and that time she went down pretty easily. They were still at five gens. She tried to suicide on hook but was saved. When I came back to the hook, her healing teammate fled but he she stood there doing the "come" gesture. I love the event. I don't know most of the perks I'm getting. I've either not used many of these for a long time or I've never cared about using them in the first place. It's kind of fun. During my last game, I felt like chilling before going to bed. Long version: From the start, I found and hooked two survivors. Then I went looking for the two others that didn't seem very active. They even let the first survivor lose one stage on the hook while I was roaming. I did a first generator round, avoiding the area I expected them to be so they could reset. I've just played a few Nurse game and about a couple of times per match something strange happened. The most notable events: A couple of auto-miss that made me turn more than 90 degrees away from the survivor. I was doing some cleanup and I've found this screenshot taken right when the old match-making system has been replaced by the new SBMM. The way I see it, that's when it started to go downhill. In another thread, it has been suggested to use what amounts to an activity detector to check if a player is letting himself die on hook, essentially giving up, or if he is trying to hold on. As long as being able to suicide on hook is a thing, it may be used to give a slap on the wrist of players who give up. I was playing a game against survivors way too weak for me. There were some kind of lag issues with at least two of them. e.g. Sudden move forward or backward during chases. At some point, with Nurse's Calling, I see one of these guys self-healing behind a rock in a corner of the map. I decide to patiently wait for him to heal so the chase would not be instantaneous. I just had a match against four "not-Steam" players. It was on Hawkins, as Nurse. At some point, tracking survivors, I've felt a kind of lag/glitch while blinking and I've found myself landing several meter away from the location I was supposed to be. Just thinking that if I sweat my way for a while I may get stuck "forever" in the highest bracket only make me want to stop playing before even trying. Not that I'm playing that much anymore. In the comment for the player survey, I've ended up ranting sarcastically about the removal of skill expression in the game. This is probably the main reason I play about once a month, if that much. I was playing a skill-checks Doctor on the game. Despite the map, the game went pretty well. Once only two survivors were left, I've noticed that one of them was pretty much nowhere to be seen. It was weird because given how small the map is, it was unlikely for her to always be in a locker every time I was using the the AoE blast. I've found the remaining survivor and downed her. I've asked a question on the forum and somebody has answered it. But I'm on a trackpad and the "yes" and "no" words are pretty close. While tapping it I've moved and clicked "no" instead of yes. I can't mark the post as an answer anymore. I find this very annoying. There should be no "no" option. If a post is the answer, then it can be marked as such when pressing "yes". I've played 3 matches with Chucky, total. I've won one, lost the other two. (I can't handle his dash yet.) But from that point all I got in front were teams of prestige above 50. When I have already trouble with beginners. Needless to say it didn't go well. As survivor, the rate times I was face-camped the counter was usually for the team to push the gens and maybe do an exchange right on time. Now, the killer only has to wait right at the limit with the Bubba and will still manage to get the unhooker down and, if he presses on, probably also the unhooked. (Just had a match like this.) I was in the Borgo map with a survivor hooked. Right from the moment I've hooked, another survivor was looping around and I was chasing her. With all the clutter and the one pallet it took me a while to even hit her. No matter : the survivor was able to unhook herself. (First hook of the match : no deliverance) What was I supposed to do?
