Even though Myers is my favorite horror movie icon, I personally don't like playing him in DBD. Spending so much time just standing around and building up evil within instead of chasing survivors is so detrimental to the game. Plus he's the only Killer that has a cap on his power since each survivor can only be "sucked" for a limited amount. That being said though, I still want to knock out dai12 comments 111 views last activity

I'm no developer so I'm not going to pretend like I am, but BHVR has acknowledged that survivor daily challenges are not popping up as much as they should. In fact the killer challenges seem to be glitched because I keep coming across the same challenges for the same killer. No joke, today I came across my fifth Freddy challenge within a week's time. Now Freddy is one of the killers that I main18 comments 181 views last activity

While solo survivor is certainly no walk in the park, being able to have three other people watch your back can certainly make things a lot easier. And if you're playing with friends, having constant communication over what everyone is doing and where the Killer is at can make a world of difference. Whereas with Killer you're on your own, so is it any wonder why meme builds are a thing? Personal31 comments 641 views last activity

Seeing as of how Victor doesn't get access to any perks, what would you consider to be a good build? I know passive perks like Ruin/Undying is a popular one, but personally I hate hexes as it's very RNG dependent.11 comments 1,082 views last activity

This is going on right now in DBD mobile. I've never wanted a console/PC game to be more like a mobile game in my whole life. Frosty eyes and a 2021 charm just doesn't seem as special for some reason. ๐22 comments 381 views last activity

I don't mind the Tomes, but I've never wanted a console/pc game to mirror a mobile game more in my life. Right now DBD mobile is doing a 3x bloodpoint/XP event. And here I am trying to pallet stun a killer five times in a single match just so that I can earn a few more blood points.๐3 comments 41 views last activity

For five straight games tonight I had teammates that didn't even come close to my rank, and who were all facing off against killers they had no business competing against. Because of this glorious matchmaking I de-pipped in every single match(I was rank 4). And what made matters even worse was having a Huntress with iridescent heads, and a Pyramid Head with maxed out perks who was a "level 20" go8 comments 231 views last activity

Seriously, it happens all the time! The survivors leap back like it's a blown skill check and scream. And to make matters worse Killers can hear that. In one match I was being carried by the Killer, and I heard two survivors scream to my left because both of them started working on a generator. Unfortunately this meant that the killer knew exactly where to go after he hooked me. It's been over 47 comments 641 views last activity

At first I had a lot of fun with the Twins, but as you get higher in rank it starts becoming a sweat fest, and it's not hard to see why. All the power is in Victor, but if you play as Victor none of the perks that you have equipped apply. Tericho uploaded a recent video talking about this, and he had a similar experience that I did where perks like Tinkerer went off, but I had no way of knowing53 comments 3,361 views last activity

DBD is one of the grindiest games out there, and it's not even a free to play game. It's the main reason why I don't purchase any of their "battle passes", because the amount of grinding that it takes just to unlock everything is absolutely ridiculous. Right now they're testing daily login bonuses, but instead of giving you cells (the top currency which free to play games occasionally do) they o3 comments 101 views last activity

For example, if a hex like haunted ground gets broken and you're running around with Victor, does the perk still work or just with Charlotte? I'm assuming just Charlotte but I didn't want to throw on perks if they're not going to work.4 comments 311 views last activity

Some survivors have more than one Christmas outfit, whereas others still don't have any. David is one of those survivors, and there's nothing more that would put a smile on my face than trying to survive as Ebenezer David! ๐31 comments 391 views last activity

I've never had a game cause more anxiety than dead by daylight. LOL For every good match I easily have five terrible ones where I'll either be outmatched by someone far more experienced, or worse, toxic. Because of this there have been so many nights when I will fire the game up only to immediately turn it off and watch uploaded YouTube videos instead. Thank you BHVR for the recent fixes and the changes to the moris (look forward to see what you do with keys), but admittedly I'm really hesitant to play because I'm constantly being matched against players that are far more experienced than me. One of the last killer matches I played had my rank 14 Bubba going up against an all-rank 4 SWF. I know the MMR is coming soon, but matchmaking in its c26 comments 511 views last activity

King just uploaded a video to YouTube that reveals a lot of source code indicating bot actions for both killer and survivor. I really hope this proves to be true because even with the penalty in place, dc's still happen far too often. Not to mention it would be awesome to be able to activate bots in custom matches. The Twins unfortunately won't be fully fixed until the next mid-chapter update, but there are a plethora of killers that are bugged right now that I would like to play. For obvious reasons I'm holding off until the hot fixes are applied, because as much as I want to play, my desire to not want to have to endure a buggy game is even greater. I've avoided playing dead by daylight since the game is a bug-filled mess right now. However tonight I was really eager to play a killer match, and I thought I would risk playing a match with Bubba despite knowing full well that there's a glitch that reduces his speed. Well I hop into the match and everything's going fine, until I come across a hacker. Because of course I would. Every time I got6 comments 121 views last activity

If there's one good thing I can say about BHVR, it's that their art department is on point! That being said, with killers working in a first-person perspective, as well as so many moris also operating from the first person perspective, what point is there in purchasing Killer skins? I bring this up because the new Krampus skin looks amazing, but not only can you not see it in action, you can't e21 comments 701 views last activity

While in the Q&A they did say that they were aware of the bugs and that they're working on hot fixes, the sad reality is that the Twins won't be fully fixed/finished until the next chapter which is three months away. It certainly entices me to hold off until then before purchasing them. I have an 85-in television, which you would think would make seeing icons and print a lot easier. As evidenced in this picture, it doesn't. I can only hope that there will be a fix upcoming with the next chapter since there hasn't been any acknowledgment from the devs yet. But it kind of goes without saying that this UI is really annoying.0 comments 51 views last activity

The PTB revealed some very glaring issues with the twins. Survivors could take Victor hostage, Victor couldn't interact with lockers, and charging Victor's attack slowed him down too much. These are all things that BHVR addressed that are being fixed in a future update, yet the chapter is still being pushed out come December 1st. Why??? The chapter is incomplete. I know that the devs have stated that they're aware of how fewer survivor daily challenges there are next to killers, but it hasn't been this bad (for me) since this week. After 4 years there are a lot of perks to be had between killers and survivors, and getting all of these perks to rank 3 takes a hefty amount of time and bloodpoints. Simply put, it's time for prestiging to receive a rework. My suggestion is that prestiging a character either reduces the amount of bloodpoints necessary to unlock perks, or it automatically unlocks tier 3 for perks that you had pre40 comments 921 views last activity

It's no secret that a mouse/keyboard is a lot more accurate than a joystick, and being to perform certain actions, like juking, is also easier with a mouse than a controller. Lately I've been trying to tackle Legion on PS4, and the quick movements that survivors can pull off is making me miss a lot of my attacks. Deathslinger always looked like he could be a lot of fun, but playing a first-person shooter without a reticule is unbelievably hard. It's my third match with Deathslinger, and all I got to say is....๐คฌ. Trying to use a gun in the first person perspective without a reticule is so damn difficult. I just started playing DBD back in March of this year, and while it has certainly held my interest, I'm now getting to the point to where I understand why so many other players wish that there were additional modes. Playing survivor is literally a progress bar simulator. Granted it can be hard sometimes to play killer, but at least playing killer involves more than holding a button. I just started playing the Blight, and I can barely hit one survivor let alone six to complete this tome challenge! Hell I've even watched plenty of rank 1 streamers barely get six lethal rush attacks in one match. Not saying the Blight isn't a strong killer, far from it, but it is incredibly easy to dodge that rush attack. One of the things that I've been saying for a while now is that DBD on mobile has a far better setup than the main game itself has. They've been using bots for awhile now, and it's through those bots that they've been able to implement a practice mode. Ten matches (10!!!) in a row with the sweatiest Killers that I have ever had the misfortune of playing against. Every single one that me and my group of friends played with tonight has either tunneled or camped. What's worse is that clearly they're doing this for the double bloodpoints, but because of these ridiculous tactics, most have walked away with less than 20,000 (before double bp), which88 comments 3,401 views last activity

So I decided to go ahead and tackle Spirit since I've always heard how good of a killer she is. As with all killers it'll take practice getting used to her ability, but practicing against clearly more skilled players makes tackling a new killer almost unbearable. As everyone is pretty much aware by now, playing on PS4 has been downright unplayable. Supposedly a fix is coming later this week, which is great, but that leaves only a few days that PS4 users will be able to play the DBD Halloween event without having to worry about poor fps affecting their games. I've been playing survivor everyday since the event started, and this lag has been absolutely atrocious. I'm worried that the lag won't be fixed until the event is over (we're practically halfway through already). I played with some friends last night, and we encountered seven(!) straight games with levels 16 and 17 killers that were equipped with four slots of maxed out perks, many from multiple killers. BHVR is clearly invested in building up the lore of DBD, and tbh I think that's great! Reading up on the background of Killers and survivors can be a real treat, especially when this lore is accompanied with the very lovely animated art stills. That being said, it all feels like such a waste since the lore doesn't tie into the game at all. It's incredibly hard to feel like the badass Killer the4 comments 71 views last activity

The MMR was wildly inconsistent when it was first implemented as high-ranking players would be matched against newer and/or casual players far too often, which prompted the devs to turn it off. The devs keep saying that the MMR continues to collect data in the background, but given how poorly implemented matchmaking is in DBD, how can we trust anything to be different? I just purchased the Blight chapter, and after leveling him up a bit I'm eager to play him, but given the poor state of matchmaking and the level that I'm at (12), I tend to be matched with red and purple rank survivors. I don't like to use what's considered "meta builds". I understand that some perks are certainly more useful and powerful than others, but going with what's popular isn't what I necessarily find fun. For survivor I've always found value in Small Game. It combines really well with Inner Strength, and knowing where totems always are is a great counter to Undying. For killer I enjoy Bloodhound. Some people want bots and some people don't, but anything is better than the never ending DC's. Tonight in my first match I literally waited 15 minutes to get into a survivor match, only for the Killer to immediately quit less than a minute in. Not a campaign in the traditional sense, but one that mirrors what we saw in the Twisted Metal games. Twisted Metal was very much centered around multiplayer, but each character had their own campaign with a unique beginning and end. I would love to see that for the killers. I have a love/hate relationship with Dead by Daylight. There are many things that are fun, while at the same time there are many things that are frustrating. I used to wonder why so many frustrating aspects of the game would seemingly be overlooked, or not given any attention to at all. That is until I recently saw the interview that Mcote had with the streamer King. In it, he said that the gam20 comments 871 views last activity
