Another Q&A once again results in more Q than A.
While in the Q&A they did say that they were aware of the bugs and that they're working on hot fixes, the sad reality is that the Twins won't be fully fixed/finished until the next chapter which is three months away. It certainly entices me to hold off until then before purchasing them.
They also once again fell back to their tried and true statements to requests that keep coming up in every Q&A. For example, the community clearly wants custom games to serve as a way to practice, but once again they said that they're "looking into it", but that they couldn't guarantee devoting a lot of resources because a lot of people don't play custom games. While that is indeed true, it's not hard to see why. Not everyone can arrange a full party of online players. The community has been asking for a practice mode for years, and after 4 years either say it's coming, or it's not, because these non-answers aren't helping.
And what had to be the worst slap in the face was them offering us blood points as a way of saying "I'm sorry" instead of actually saying it. Standing behind a chapter that is so broken that it breaks the game in more ways than one, and feeling comfortable selling it to the DBD community, was perhaps one of the worst things I've ever seen BHVR do. The devs are good hard-working people, that I don't deny, but whoever green-lit releasing this chapter in the state that it's in should have addressed the DBD community and apologized. A simple apology would have gone a long way.
Regardless here's to another year of keeping my fingers crossed and hoping we'll actually get the features that we want. More than likely we won't, but if anything this recent chapter has taught me patience. Sadly it's patience for a working game more so than the features that we want.

I prefer the 300k bloodpoints as an apology, but that's just me. Neither one makes the problems go away, but one is at least a practical compensation.
And that's fine, to each their own. But like you said it doesn't solve anything. Blood points are too easy. Yes apologizing is hard, but it's the more respectable thing to do.
I agree. Practicing while being expected to compete makes for a very lousy experience. It's hard to "git gud" when you're constantly being stomped over and over.
