I know it was explained that killers can't see hook states as it promotes opportunist tunneling, however, seeing the hook count notification as a killer comes up to a hook while carrying a survivor would not promote tunneling considering they about to hook the person, anyway. What this would accomplish is actually the opposite, it would allow killers who DON'T want to double-hook someone to decid0 comments 11 views last activity

Wanted to give kudos to the team who does the cinematics. Phenomenal. One thing I wanted to point out, which REALLY stands out to me for some reason in the Skull Merchant cinematic, is when she is working on her equipment, the tracker buzzes. The Skull Merchant genuinely seems a bit surprised, and doesn't directly head to the tracker, but sort of takes a quick glance back at what she's working on0 comments 11 views last activity

Considering the token limitation on PR, there is something that was missed on maintaining the decision to keep tokens in. In the current system, killers can be entirely penalized for hooking survivors and get zero use out of PR tokens. Ignoring the fact that scourge hooks are already heavily RNG if you're able to get to them, and ignoring the fact that survivors have a literal perk to counter th3 comments 71 views last activity

I noticed this happening about a week ago. If you destroy a door, the level does not re-drawn everything behind it fast enough. This causes the killer to have a single frame of seeing survivors through walls and even in lockers. Below is an example of said bug: https://youtu.be/St1nA_YeU-c1 comments 61 views last activity

Now we're going to be forced to always 4k if we're going for merciless. I mean, I suppose it makes sense in the name, no mercy LOL but still, would be nice to have options for killers who aren't sweating for a 4k. If the match is over, I tend to not try to rub it in and just let the last survivor hatch.20 comments 301 views last activity

I would like to propose that every time a killer unlocks something on the bloodweb, there is a chance that a Glyph Gift is also unlocked (in addition to what they intended to unlock). This is so the Gift Glyphs don't "take up space" on the bloodweb for those who do not want to utilize them. These are special offerings that can be equipped that propose a glyph challenge to the survivors with the e0 comments 11 views last activity

I've had some people show some concern in regards to how to viably use Ghost Face since he has to blow a lot of time being a sneakyboi (unless you're playing rambo ghostface in which why are you playing a stealther at that point, ha!). You have to shave off time everywhere you can to make up for it. I've mained Ghost Face for awhile and someone had suggested I throw in what goes through my mind a0 comments 41 views last activity

You can use stealth to bypass bodyblockers if you have your power available for activating. Handy when in the middle of a chase and your power happens to be ready. https://youtu.be/N821wZ6Qj-00 comments 31 views last activity

Right now, crouching doesn't serve much purpose. The Ghost Face is particularly weak to stealth plays at mid to high MMR. It's very map dependent, as many generators have very open lines of sight making sneaking up impossible. Throw in that anyone using spinechill is given a guaranteed "he's within 36 meters of you", and they'll hightail it out of there by the time The Ghost Face manages to get u11 comments 151 views last activity

I'm not a fan of tunneling, however, sometimes I do some fake tunneling to bait out bodyblockers, or fake pickups to bait out flashlighters. Here's a fake tunnel. I know the guy has OTR so he's in no danger (hence him running out to distract while having "secret endurance"), but I needed to keep NEA engaged to wrap up her stalk meter. There's so many ways to get endurance protection, it feels every hit is always rolling a D20 to see if you can even hit. I see this type of thing VERY often. This is at the very beginning of the match. I had stalked and downed a survivor in the first 30 seconds of the match. She was nearby with him, so the chase began. It's not a medkit endurance, it's not Off the Record for obvious reasons (I w11 comments 171 views last activity

Currently, there is a strat where a survivor with the boil perk will simply run to a safe zone and stand there until downed (no loop attempts). This usually a 2nd or 3rd floor. These areas never have hooks. The issue for the killer is that it is literally impossible to reach a hook from these areas, so the survivor is completely safe from ever getting hooked. This extended chase gives other surv9 comments 131 views last activity

At higher MMR, The Ghost Face tends to be a fairly weak killer (unless you're sacrificing your perks for gen regression to counter the high repair speeds). One of his biggest weakness is that he has absolutely no chase power, and the one thing going for him, his stalking, can easily be taken away from him by the survivors. He sneaks around and all, but the majority of the maps, you can see him co4 comments 81 views last activity

If a survivor runs up to a generator with Overcharge applied, taps it (interact and run off with no intention on working on the gen) and runs off, while running off and away from the gen, they can counter the skillcheck despite not actually working on the generator.3 comments 81 views last activity

I've had this happen multiple times ever since the last big patch. It's the beginning of the match, and when I hit a survivor, they'll be protected by endurance and get deep wounds. It's not dead hard, as there's no animation. They aren't in an injured state, so it's not the medkit add-on. Also, in the match, I'll hit people who have just run from repairing a gen and they'll have endurance prote16 comments 481 views last activity

There are some killer generator perks that create an aura color for no real good reason, and they overwrite the more useful generator aura notifications. For example, if you run eruption, discordance is useless, as eruption causes the generator to be yellow for no reason other than "you kicked this", but you already know what gens you kicked anyway. However, if you ran discordance, it's aura colo6 comments 91 views last activity

Saw an art piece of Deathslinger shooting his harpoon, missing a survivor and it impaling the harpoon through a wall as the survivor looks at it in terror, and thought, yeah that'd be a scary fun addition. Fire off a harpoon at a destructible door shatters it (but stops the shot). Just for rule of cool.7 comments 31 views last activity

There's a load of perks that just don't work together due to to auras. Whether it flat out breaks perks (using surveillance and call of brine, for example- surveillance ceases to function entirely as call's yellow overwrites surveillance's white), or you get unreliable information, such as when a survivor has a perk that shows their gen yellow to other survivors...but killer also has a perk that6 comments 81 views last activity

Suggestion: Removing generator regression and generator repair speed perks. Crazy sounding at first, but hear me out. Survivors feel they have to bring repair speed perks due to longer gen speeds, then killers feel they have to bring gen perks to counter that. In the end, survivors are shooting themselves in the foot if they don't bring gen speed perks because killers are compelled to run gen pe3 comments 101 views last activity

I posted this the other day on Reddit but figured I'd share here, too. There's a hanging ghost above one of the exit gates on Haddonfield. There's nothing inside it if you look up from underneath, but if you attack it with a ranged attacked, it has a blood particle splatter effect. I keep seeing comments that using overcharge is bad for the killer if they tap the gen before 12 seconds to get to 100, but I see others say it starts at 75 on top of the standard regression rate of 100 for a starting value of 175, and somehow overcharge + call of brine = 300% Doss overcharge actually hurt the killer if the gen is tapped before 12 seconds, or is it additive to the base regressio19 comments 561 views last activity

Dead Man's Switch running solo was fine as it was, especially considering you'd have to chase survivors off to make use of it. However, now it's getting a significant nerf just by the chance that someone might combo it with Pain Res. Can you guys perhaps come with a combo system where perks act as intended standalone, but have registered combos where perks will act different if utilizing such a0 comments 1 views last activity

It's far less optimal gameplay, but it's fun to play a bit more on the spooky side. For example, as Ghost Face, hit them with an attack, then mid-chase when you are right on them, vanish off to the side and stealth. They usually panic wondering where you disappeared to. Give them a false sense of security by following them off to the side. When they feel safe, follow up with Nurse's Calling to sn8 comments 121 views last activity

I would like to suggest that Surveillance's white generator aura be prioritized over other generator aura colors. Surveillance has an effect where a kicked generator that is regressing has a white aura. If the regression is interrupted, then it's temporarily shown in yellow then loses the effect. If gen progress goes to zero, it loses the effect entirely. It's an interesting information per0 comments 11 views last activity

I'm not sure fan of blowing multiple perks just on gen control. I primarily play Ghost Face, so my perks are more on keeping survivors pressured and off gens. Here is a video showing the new spinechill. The killer is The Ghost Face and is facing away from killer shack. As long as the killer is within 32 meters anywhere regardless if he's looking in my direction or if I'm looking at his, I instantly know. This is making it impossible for stealth killers to sneak up on anyone - effectively removing their whole killer concept from the match.2 comments 81 views last activity

Before, killers could at least "crabwalk" to try to bypass spinechill, but now there's absolutely no counterplay to it, at all. This makes it absolutely impossible for a stealth killer to ever be able to sneak up on a spinechill. It was already commonly used due to how powerful it was pre-patch, but now it's been supercharged where it's uncounterable. This will make it even more attractive to use15 comments 221 views last activity

Unusual suggestion to address tunneling off hook vs endurance solutions. Let's get the entity involvThis is rather unusual, but considering nothing thus far implemented or planned to be implemented helps off hook tunneling without serious side effects, why not something very different? The current problem the game has is when getting unhooked, you need something that not ONLY prevents an unhookee from getting attacked again but ALSO a strong incentive for the unhookee to evacuate the area (oth10 comments 151 views last activity

The new OTR buff has an issue that can be exploited. SWFs could easily just pick the same character skin, and once they get hooked, they just turn into decoys. They just need one person on a gen off in the distance, and the other 3 just running around looping and drawing the killer away. The problem here is, the killer won't even know which person is protected for 80 seconds. It's even worst if14 comments 141 views last activity

I get why BHVR doesn't want hook counts to show on the UI for kilers (to prevent tunneling and so on), However, it's a problem for killers who specifically are trying to actively AVOID tunneling. Some people say "just remember", but it's hard to do so sometimes in a chaotic match or when survivors are dressed the same. Blinds happen fairly often, mostly when breaking pallets. The issue is the 30 seconds where the killer is unable to see where gens or hooks are. This is a non-issue for experienced players, as they generally know where their gens and hooks are, but for new killers, it's a complete shutdown where they are just bumbling around. 30 seconds is a long time for them to be completely lost only to get fl0 comments 151 views last activity

At the moment, Spinechill is a flat out easy early warning for those who run it. Generally, this isn't that big of an issue for most killers. However, it does really become a problem for true stealthers like Pig or The Ghost Face. Other killers generally have abilities that help them chase down survivors and such. However, for Pig and The Ghost Face, they are essentially just M1 killers. They ha33 comments 311 views last activity

Forced mandatory mori for the killer means killers can't offer a friendly hatch at the end of the match. While the idea is to prevent killers from holding someone hostage on the ground as they bleed out, why not do this instead? If there is one survivor left, two things happen: Killer has mori available to perform if they so choose. This allows them the option to give hatch to the survivor. I tend to play killer more thematically and for fun as opposed to going try-hard to win. I generally tend to be a kind killer overall (no hook camping, let people get glyphs before attacking, usually let last hatch, etc...) Sometimes I play to win, and sometimes I play just to generally try to create a fun experience across the board. It would be nice if I'm in the latter mood, if I could burn o5 comments 41 views last activity
