Say what you will about Chucky's viability, but his dynamic audio responses are hilarious. I'd love to see more killers have responses to things going on in the match. Mind you, they don't all need to be funny (and shouldn't be depending on the killer). https://youtu.be/SaFrDAyLvKs0 comments 2 views last activity

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: When a survivor uses a door, Springtrap can hear their footsteps as they run "invisible" between the two doors, and can also see the foliage interact with the invisible survivor's movement. With this, Springtrap, being in the right place at the right time, can figure out where a survivor is door teleporting to. Im not sure if this was intended or not, but I've been able to see hook states as a killer. It's been a significant positive change for me, because now I can far more easily spread out hooks on matches where survivors are having a difficult time. Essentially, im an underdog fan, so I mostly focus on killers such as ghostie, slinger, pig, and so on. This essentially means having to go in with you3 comments 51 views last activity

Ghostface is tired of all those tea-baggin' exit gate survivors and wants to turn up the heat. A while back, Legion came out with a super legit skin. I thought it would work pretty well as a ghostie skin. How about a skin where ghostie is ready to go all-in on his chases for those players less inclined for stalks and more inclined for full chase builds?0 comments 11 views last activity

I'd like to see ghostie having a basekit movement speed buff while in night shroud and while he's not in chase. One of ghostie's biggest problems is his major lack of map mobility. He can't afford to travel to far gens, so this effectively forces poor ghostie to focus more in the center of the map. This generally can cause the 8 regression limit to trigger far more often, especially with surge i13 comments 151 views last activity

At one point, the Community Manager said the following: "No report is actioned without solid evidence - so video evidence (screenshots are not evidence and are not used) is pretty much a necessity. If players are talking about chat harassment, we do have all the chat logs checked. I was thinking about a mechanic that would with create some room for strategy for survivors but also add in optional side objectives that would potentially give killers some breathing room on gen speed. I've been watching a few competitive matches, and a lot of time, the survivors stop short of finishing the last gen out of fear of potentially NOED coming into play - even if it ends up it was ne0 comments 11 views last activity

The Ghoul gets guaranteed hits with his ranged attack with his lockon, so missing isn't even a risk unless it's around a corner, but even then, half the time it'll count as a hit anyway. Ghoul also gets map traversal with multiple dashes, while Slinger is just slowly hopping along on a bad leg and has to take time to reel people who happen to get hit while still having risk of chains breaking fro16 comments 201 views last activity

A lot of the common complaints always revolve around getting eliminated from the match. It's less fun to sit around while you're buddies keep playing, and if someone gets eliminated in a party, it's not uncommon to see their still alive friends throw the game so the match can conclude and they move onto the next. Despite the popular view of the contrary, and the end of the day, this is a party\ca0 comments 21 views last activity

It's vital that GF be able to do ambushes, but so many times when sneaking up on a completely oblivious survivor does the chase music suddenly kick in even if crouching and slowly moving around. This essentially robs Ghost Face from successful ambushes when he goes out of his way to set up an ambush. Crouching literally had zero actual effect in the game outside of appearing smaller - it would be0 comments 62 views last activity

With the rampant bug going on where survivors cannot be healed\picked up\rescues from hook, this will be inflating kill rates. I'd suggest not counting kill rates until this bug is fixed - otherwise, BHVR will be having bad data.0 comments 11 views last activity

Prior to iron will's new change, killers were actively discouraged from chasing down people with OTR since it's just a waste of time (and let's face it, the OTR change awhile back was essentially intended to be an anti-tunnel perk). The killer chases them down endlessly, finally gets a hit, and the survivor gets endurance and flies off to another loop. Thanks, BHVR! High bloodwebs (ie level 50 and such) now have the usual 1-2 iridescents again. Before this patch, iridescents become very rare at high bloodwebs for some reason. No more! Huzzah. Even better if you're P100 and forever stuck at bloodweb level 50.3 comments 101 views last activity

Usually there is a nearly guaranteed iridescent offering at level 50 blood web and almost guaranteed 2 iridescent offerings at level 50 blood web. However, I've gone through 5 level 50 bloodwebs, and not a single one of them have had any iridescent offerings. Here's an example...note that the majority of all of these are just commons...and that's at a level 50 blood web. Something broke.0 comments 21 views last activity

You only need to be on the stairs to the basement to get the free self heal. It doesn't require actually being in the basement at all. If basement is in killer shack, you have the strongest loop in the entire map on demand. This makes the perk essentially risk free, as you can easily make it to the window or pallet before the killer gets to you. Expected behaviour: the perk is only supposed to0 comments 71 views last activity

I have 3 videos below that's relevant to the discussion. BHVR's intention for the 8 regression limit is to utilize a number where normal matches should not be affected by the 8 regression limit. It's supposed to essentially prevent killers who just camp 3 gens from the beginning of the match who generally refuse to actually advance the match. They won't chase, won't down, and won't hook unless i84 comments 1,932 views last activity

The design team did an absolutely phenomenal job on the theme of the map. A lot of great attention to detail from the looks all the way to the audio design with the computer bleeps and bloops. Seriously, the map was an amazing piece of work. This player here appreciates the effort put into it! The quality is just so much higher than expected. Even the alien visual design is fantastic. Well done whoever thought of Alan Wake for a chapter! Brilliant play. Accessibility options are still giving more information than what would be gained from standard gameplay. I get the purpose of accessibility, but there's a reason everyone is running it. Can it at least be toned down to more accurately represent what people ACTUALLY would be hearing, and in turn, react to? We could have some jumpscare potential like this: https://youtu.be/i8V8tmTXIl0?si=da_NSAIR8r3J1WPx They already have code that let's the Singularity shoot pods onto a wall. Why not re-use the same tech and let the Xeno pick a spot to pounce up to, then it could go undetectable after a few seconds if grapped onto a wall or ceiling. During this time, the killer can't move. H0 comments 11 views last activity

Why not just simply make it affect all players like bloody party streamers (even if it's only 25%?) Aren't we wanting to get away from the whole playerbase divide of killer opinions vs survivor opinions anyway? This would at least help bring people together even in a slight way and lessen the alienation of each side against each other.5 comments 101 views last activity

Survivor perks are getting so unusual it's getting difficult to distinguish between perks and cheatshttps://youtu.be/5ywFY8YrWzw?si=1OaKM0k07d-UoVfa Awhile back, it was at least noticeable that someone was cheating or not, but with things such as MFT, or the 101 ways to get endurance, or the new breakneck speed backbround player, we're getting into a confusing area where you just freaking genuinely don't know. Killers only get 4 perks. Survivors get 16 perks. The balance1 comments 41 views last activity

Some great changes to the antiface camp, but there is still a glaring problem. Survivors do gens. Killer downs someone near the gen (there's a reason jolt is reliable - happens a lot). Killer hooks the survivor on the nearest hook (often next to the gen). The killer at this point "isn't allowed" to protect the generator? Just has to walk away and let survivors work on it simply because the game i12 comments 231 views last activity

One thing DBD has an issue with is toxicity from both sides. One major factor that helps bully squads or pure slug builds\map-wide TR anti-heal shenanigans is the ability to play the game on your own terms - prepping a full squad or killer build specifically with a map in mind (such as ormand + boil over + upstairs). These kind of map votes just to prep for bullies just makes such bully tactics e1 comments 21 views last activity

Right now, perk ranks/tiers are pretty moot, as the whole upgrading them to purple is just sort of busy work that we go through for "some" reason. In the end, we are all running purple perks. Right now balance is all over the place with everyone running meta perks and such. We have strong perks that end up just being broken when combo'd with others. How about we change up our concept of how perk2 comments 31 views last activity

All people do is get healed to 99 and carry a medkit around. They gain all the benefit of MFT without any risk, as the moment the killer is in striking range, they just tap heal to be fully healed, get hit, run off at full recovery speed and then continue to get MFT benefits. Then they can just 99 again and rinse and repeat. Some people say it's "fair" because you're in danger when injured, but y9 comments 101 views last activity

At the moment, the item is just right around the corner, and everyone knows the code, so at the beginning of the map, they need only hop over, grab the item, walk a few yards, and bam - free purple item. We're at a point where survivors are being handed free purple items in a map now. At the very least, have the key spawn on the opposite side of the map, and if injured, it is dropped. PC When you throw a bottle, if you swap bottle types before the thrown bottle breaks open, its bottle type changes. This forces clown to wait until a thrown bottle breaks open before being allowed to swap to a different type. PC - Undetectable shouldn't be causing stingers, visual terror radius, or chase music. I'm assuming this is a bug, as it doesn't make sense otherwise. Undetectable shouldn't be giving off a visual heartbeat, for example. Video below. I've had a lot of times where sneaking up on survivors has gone to waste because of the game announcing I'm near despite them having no idea otherwise. If they are on a gen and I sneak near, the stinger suddenly screams out giving them an early warning. If I'm following behind them stealthed, they'll suddenly hear chase music and see a visual TR despite otherwise being completely oblivious that I0 comments 11 views last activity

Every time an M1 killer damages someone, they are punished with extended chases. Every chase, they are making it easy to another loop. Even if you catch survivors out of position, they are getting from safety to safety to safety. There's not even any deadzones any more unless you run around de-palleting everything in the entire map, but by then with how fast gens get done, you're at an inevitable1 comments 31 views last activity

NOT TALKING ABOUT REASSURANCE. The unhooking progress will merely slow down, not stop, when another survivor is near by. Loopers are just going to run to hooks. This will force free credit for a hooked person to unhook themselves despite the killer having no intention of being near that hook. If a survivor is near a hook, the unhook timer shouldn't slow - it should entirely stop. It's a bit silly28 comments 881 views last activity

Soma (last name of the new survivor) means "body" in Greek. To be more specific, it is the part of a person that is 100% separate from the mind. That's also why Dungeons & Dragon spells that require you to physically move in some way is referred to as having a soma tic spell component. The killer this chapter is also eerily similar to the types of monsters found in the video game "Soma" (8 comments 361 views last activity

For the past few chapters, every chapter keeps getting some sort of gen rushing perk. BHVR already acknowledged that gen speeds were a problem and tried to correct it with +10 seconds to repair time, but then follow it up with perk after perk to increase repair times. Gens are flying by super fast as it is, and M1 killers usually lose on average 2 gens by the time they can get a down with how st4 comments 71 views last activity

PC Two games in a row, different survivors have complained that their HUD had completely vanished (no icons, etc...). However, what's odd about this is the circumstance where they complain (rightfully so) about it. So, I was tier 3 Myers, and I downed an injured a survivor. However, that survivor did NOT get mori'd. They just simply went down. I figured maybe they were cheating or something. I3 comments 171 views last activity
