Just prior to hooking, killers should get a notification of hook state counts on the survivor
I know it was explained that killers can't see hook states as it promotes opportunist tunneling, however, seeing the hook count notification as a killer comes up to a hook while carrying a survivor would not promote tunneling considering they about to hook the person, anyway. What this would accomplish is actually the opposite, it would allow killers who DON'T want to double-hook someone to decide at the last moment if they want to go through with the hook. While it hurts the killer to not hook when they have the opportunity, some of us killers actually prefer NOT to double-hook someone, and it would be nice to see just before hooking if it's someone that I would rather drop and go for someone else. Again, this hook count would only appear once coming up to a hook. It would give the option for a killer to decide NOT to hook, and it wouldn't encourage tunneling as the killer would not get this info until they've already downed and are carrying the survivor to the hook, anyway.
