Surveillance perk quality of life change to avoid perk from ceasing to function
I would like to suggest that Surveillance's white generator aura be prioritized over other generator aura colors.
Surveillance has an effect where a kicked generator that is regressing has a white aura. If the regression is interrupted, then it's temporarily shown in yellow then loses the effect. If gen progress goes to zero, it loses the effect entirely.
It's an interesting information perk, however, it has a glaringly bad issue that prevent it from being used.
There are a lot of other gen kick related perks that turn a generator yellow. Most of those yellow aura's aren't all that important (it's usually just a, hey, you kicked this gen and applied an effect - fyi). If used with conjunction with these other perks, the Surveillance perk entirely ceases to function. The ONLY thing it does is provide you information if a generator is regressing, but if you use it with, say call of brine or Eruption, despite the generator continuing to regress, the generator shows as yellow due to Call of Brine's or Eruptions color prioritizing. This causes Surveillance to completely fail to function. If you try to mix it with other gen perks such as Pain Resonance and it explodes and start to regress, you didn't kick the gen when it started regressing, so Surveillance wouldn't work with that either.
Examples:
Surveillance + Eruption = Always yellow until Eruption triggers. Surveillance fails to function as an information perk.
Surveillance + Call of Brine = Always yellow till 60 seconds completes. Surveillance fails to function as an information perk.
In general, utilizing Surveillance with other gen perks just causes it to fall flat. You're FAR better off utilizing Call of Brine, as it is superior, as that generator aura is yellow which plays nice with the majority of other generator auras, and Call of Brine also has BONUS regression, as well as letting you know if someone is working on the gen. It essentially outclasses Surveillance in every way except that you have to reapply it every 60 seconds.
This causes Surveillance to simply not be an attractive perk unless you run it by itself...but even then, Call of Brine would do a better job.
In other to turn the Surveillance perk into a useful information perk (and it does nothing else, remember!), I would suggest that the Surveillance perk should always prioritize generator colors over other gen aurora perks. That way, once you kick it, you flat out know if it's regressing, even if pair with other generator aura perks. It's the ONE thing it does.
Alternatively, have the ORDER of the perks you select in your loadout decide which generator aura colors are prioritized. If I put Surveillance on the far left, it would prioritize it's white gen. If I put Call of Brine on the far left, it would prioritize it's yellow gen. This gives player choice.
