I’ve played solo que for most of my day and have noticed that myself and my teammates have been tunneled and camped in almost every match. The crazy part is that the camping starts At the beginning-middle of the game which makes no sense, I could understand if it was endgame then yeah… cause the killer has no other option. Where do I begin….. I started playing Dead By Daylight around mid 2018 and stopped playing right before 2021. I loved this game so much, played non-stop with friends, and as killer, but I don’t play anymore. It’s crazy ro think about a game you absolutely loved and now you barely even touch it. I don’t get why people are saying he’s so strong. If I had to put him on a tier list, personally he’d be at C+ or B. So far, he’s loopable if the player isn’t perfect with their tentacle strikes, he has to do more work to injure you in his power, (hit you 2-3 times with tentacle strike) and even with that if you’re good at jukes and loops you don’t really to vaccinate which is a plus. Til this day I still don’t see why SWF is so hated and looked down upon. As someone who used to 4 man SWF EVERYDAY I can definitely say that it’s the best way to make sure you’re enjoying your matches. I don’t SWF anymore but I talked to someone from my OG group and I’m gonna get back into it. Solo has just been a pain. Idk if it’s just me or if I have bad luck but solo que is just so boring, annoying, frustrating, you name it. I knew that when DS got changed that matches were going to be hell for solo que-ers and boy oh boy was I right. There have been matches where there is no obsession and the killer no longer bothers to go after the unhooker and purposely goes after the person who just got off the hook. Idk if it’s just me noticing this but I just had a match going against the trickster on the PTB and I noticed that my lacceration meter was going up pretty quickly, like really fast. I assumed he had the melodious murder add-on (green/rare) that makes it so you don’t have to throw that many blades to injure them but they weren’t. I started recently playing Dead By Daylight again, mostly solo survivor cause that’s the side I enjoy more, and ever since the DS nerf I’ve been finding solo que hard. I climbed my way back up to red ranks after being a green rank from being so inactive with the game and most of them have resulted in the killers going after the survivor who just got unhooked and immediately picking them up (with17 comments 191 views last activity

This is one of the reasons why I love Scott’s content and videos. He’s brutally honest, I’ve seen him say the hurtful truth about stuff on the survivor side and killer side but man, he nailed this one. I feel like a lot of threads that are posted on here are laughable. Does that mean they actually have experienced survivors with knowledge and know how to play efficiently? I haven’t even played the PTB cause I’m at work right now, I’ve watched some streams and gameplay and IMO this “killer” seems like a joke. Another projectile throwing “killer” who looks like he just left a Korean Pop Band after party. It just doesn’t feel like Dead By Daylight. The game is just so stale. After playing the game for 2+ years, I personally find killer boring and survivor is just unplayable at the moment. The main reason is the broken hit boxes and the survivor movement.... it just doesn’t feel like dead by daylight. The main reason for that is because even if you do not interact with an objective for the timer to reset, the killer can immediately chase you off hook and then just slug you and set their 1 minute timer until it goes off. Object needed to be changed but it’s completely gutted along with DS. It’s honestly to the point where campers will camp you no matter what, if you’re white, black, brown, yellow, red, tall, short, short hair, long hair, Afro, Mohawk you get the point. They’ll camp even though they allowed themselves to get ran for 5 gens but will be indenial about themselves no matter the reason. When I look deeper into it I can’t be mad... I’m a survivor main, or at least I prefer survivor more than killer and I mostly play solo que when I get on as I haven’t talked to my go-to SWF group anymore. Killer is plague and brings a mori.
