The game isn't dying because of the frequent new content. However they're really trying doing their best to annoy and push away their community.
While I think DBD isn't in the best spot right now & is going downhill, I don't necessarily think the game is dying.
Before they implemented this update, things were fine for the most part with a few minor complaints here & there. There has been frequent content along with a lot less biasness, with both Undying & DS getting a nerf around the same time.
