I was doing a tier list and knight came up. Without map of the realm (a brown add on that increases guard detection ranges by 4) he is easily the worst killer in the game as it's mathematically impossible to use his ability to catch people. Assassin and Jailor are too weak in chase, horse meat would help that Map of the realm is straight up required if you wanna play knight in a fun way . Call to arms allows you to play semi aggressively and go for fun guard predictions instead of hard zoning and 3 genning all game. I like when killers get changed, because you either see more variety or more fun matches to overplayed killers. Recently tho there's been almost no killer specific changes which has left survivor and killer feeling stale. I know the perk update did change a lot, but it was sad to see no twins, onryo, dredge, artist, slinger, etc changes in the mid chapter. So if you're in the boon, everyone sees you and you see everyone else, and idk maybe as a side effect you gain a 33% speed increase to healing others. (so no self healing and no self healing stacking with med kits) I just kinda wanna take sloppy off of most my killers but I risk having boon: "haha pressure goes poof" being placed down and insta losing. I've noticed that a lot of the recent killers have some add ons that would benefit being base kit, either because they're just nice or that there's never a reason not to run it. They should do what they did to legion, make QoL base (fatigue add ons) and rework the add on(s) that effected that mechanic. Emphasis on base kit. With add ons dredge is leagues better. Dredge is unbelievably reliant on haddies calendar (reduced time to exit locked lockers) + boat key/ottomarian writing (increased TP speed/reduced cooldown) it's surprising they aren't base kit. Roots of dread for me. This chapter was so aesthetically amazing I'm sad it's gone and there doesn't seem to be a chapter as good coming in the near future. Dredge and Haddie were 2 of the best additions to the game, dredge coming with the best soundtracks the game has ever heard, and although garden of pain is a chore to play on it's easily my favourite map from a looks perspective. Yes, hyperfocus working with toolboxes is a pretty substantial issue. But look past that and is the game really in a terrible spot? Honestly Id say even soloQ is in an okay spot. I'm curious. Why was the outside section added in? It gives the survivors an incredibly safe gen that you can W key away from and use as one massive loop, similar to upstairs midwich or gas heaven car piles, which is not fun in the slightest. The amount of utility an added 20% of extra distance on your first bound gives you outclasses literally every other one of his add ons, maybe excluding his iris. Trust me, this add on has singlehandedly gave me a lot of hits even against good players. The only killer it was super strong/bordering OP on was starstruck nurse, but that's much more of a nurse issue than the perk being "oppressive with lethal persuer". Since the grind for newer players is arguably worse than it was beforehand, it would be great if older characters had discounted bloodwebs to help them catch up with the people who play the game a lot. Obviously spoilers are up ahead. If you want to play the game id recommend it because it's incredibly self aware and kinda funny at times (especially on the huntress path). Also, you don't have to follow these exact answers, I'd recommend playing the game without a guide and just exploring the options. The reason thana was buffed many times in the past was because it just wasn't used on many killers. Patch 2.6.0 made it so thana had 4% slowdown on action speeds for each injured survivor. Later it got buffed to 5%, and with the recent patch it got buffed to 5.5% alongside a gen speed increase which indirectly buffed it by a LOT. oh it's so fun I love going against range add ons I'm so glad they're working as intended by completely deleting a killers counterplay I love it so much. I love how now that it's been confirmed to be "not a bug" the amount of range nurses Ive been versing has almost tripled. Unacceptable killer. When will this be nerfed? When you redesigned her you decided "hey lets give her MAD cake that pyramid no longer has". So many other killers/survivors needed a slight touch up with cake capacity yet you gave literally all of it to nurse. Killers have 6 full pages of perks and 7 perks on the 7th. That's a total of 97 perks so 291 tiers. Survivors have 7 full pages and 2 perks on the 8th. That's 107 total perks so 321 tiers. Back when I finally got every character P3 50 all perks around about pinheads time, I made a goal to P3 50 all perk the new characters and get all of the new perks on all older characters. Thankfully, due to double BP and the event, I've managed to get all perks on the new characters, and all of the new perks on older characters much faster than I usually do. Which is hard to do because every nurse player and their mother seems to run range add-ons. For real though I love playing against a double recharge or addonless nurse, range however is a plague to the game and I formally request that them add-ons get deleted because being able to travel 42m with 2 blinks is not ok.
