Honestly I'm a little scared to suggest this because I know there will be the bad actors who take advantage of it, but I think that when an team of survivors abandons, when the killer abandons they should get the bp and ticks for killing them. In my experience, there have been many times in a game where the survivors have played poorly and let me snowball the game, leading to, say, one person de8 comments 102 views last activity

I mainly play survivor, but I've always played some killer since I picked up the game 5 years ago. That being said, I never really had a true main on killer. If someone asked I'd say I mained Blight and Billy (before the Billy rework at that), but that's just because I played them a bit more than the others. In reality, I played a variety of killers somewhat equally. Just recently I became a Sp21 comments 420 views last activity

I've been playing a lot more killer lately and I still don't get why some killer players will slug for minutes on end, often times going to such lengths as repeatedly picking up the 3rd survivor to prolong the game for a chance to find the 4th survivor. Like, I get it if you know where the last survivor is, even if they're halfway across the map, and you want the 4th kill. I do the same thing. Bu95 comments 1,798 views last activity

I saw a couple forum posts of people talking about how terrible the survivor experience is in Chaos Shuffle, where every game is tunneling, proxi camping, etc. I also saw a post about frustrations as killer not having any slowdown and survivors being able to bring medkits and such. I'm an 80/20 survivor main with ~2000 hrs, but I've been playing a lot of Springtrap in Chaos Shuffle and having a0 comments 80 views last activity

I know the net code is garbage which leads to terrible ping issues and hit validation issues, but even ignoring that the server crashes 1/15 matches or so. This is astronomically higher than any other PVP game I've ever played, if I remembered all the times this has happened in other games I think I could still count them on one maybe two hands4 comments 150 views last activity

This has been a problem since the beginning of this game and I have no idea why this still has not been fixed. When you get off a generator because you need to run away from the killer, get a teammate off the hook, etc, there's a 7% chance it just explodes because a skill check triggered in that moment: instantly giving a notification to the killer and regressing the generator by a whole 10% pr3 comments 120 views last activity

Totems have been impossibly difficult to find on swamp maps (without a dedicated perk or a map specifically with a purple addon) forever, but now with the popularity of Hex builds, with Thrill hardly getting nerfed, and most of all Hex Jason being in the game, it makes the problem that much more obvious. Without a dedicated perk/build or a map with one specific addon, the survivors could literall7 comments 180 views last activity

Personally I've had the issue that I started playing in 2021 before the Bloody Portraits, but the two that I have are on characters I don't even play anymore 1500 hours later. People in the community often ask for P100 rewards, so I thought maybe this could be it. Or do you think it should stay exclusive to older players?4 comments 70 views last activity

I feel like there's a simple way to nerf Ghoul in a way that makes it less of a point-and-click adventure absolute guaranteed first hit, while also making it so that the killer actually rewards being experienced with the killer rather than being one of the strongest yet arguable easiest characters to pick up. If we look at Blight, another movement killer with "rush" tokens and such, Blight has11 comments 142 views last activity

There a billion issues with bots. Wasting time with chests or dull totems, being too scared to do anything in the killer's terror radius, not doing anything helpful until they get a heal, etc. But by far the biggest, most frustrating issue is when at the end of the game all gates are powered, the team is in trouble and the bot just leaves , starting the endgame collapse in the process and doub3 comments 70 views last activity

Just found out in a match that you can just swing as a killer to avoid a pallet stun entirely, even if the sound still plays and it's well timed (the killer is already done with the animation). As long as you swing at the right time it's like it never happened, and now oops not only does the killer still have the survivor, but you might be injured from the swing, and you wasted a (potentially imp16 comments 260 views last activity

As the title says, ping is way too much of a determining factor to skill / what a player is capable of, at the very least on the survivor side. At least on the killer side, even if you have 200ms it doesn't matter because the way it's coded will always favor you, but on the survivor side if you have anything above 40ms it starts getting noticeable. I for one am right in between all the coastal se3 comments 150 views last activity

I remember a couple years back before I took a break from the game there were several killers who had broken pallet break animations that would make them look so far down while doing so that it made it impossible to blind them. Just this last game though I went against a Plague and was shining a beam in her face from before the animation even started to well after, yet I never got close to a blin3 comments 71 views last activity

Bloodlust as a whole is completely necessary to the game. Although I didn't play back then, the game was absolutely busted without it. Bloodlust 1 is absolutely necessary, Bloodlust 2 is still necessary as there are certain play styles, loops, or just giving the survivor a timer that they need to reset with a pallet drop is needed. But Bloodlust 3 really only serves to reward playing poorly. It's15 comments 181 views last activity

As above, what do you think of Diminishing Returns? Personally, for the most part I dislike it. There are so many perk synergies / combos that got nerfed and became unviable / a waste of perk slots, a lot of which really didn't need nerfing. Like if I want to waste all my perk slots on getting blazing fast heals with no chase/second chance/gen perks then damnit let me do that! The only thing I t33 comments 601 views last activity

Right now when you press tab (on PC), it brings up an info list of all the players in the match, their ping, and the survivor's perks when on the survivor side. The addition of survivor perks there is a huge change, however it's clunky to check your teammate's perks in practice, and because of this I think a lot of survivor's don't really check it. If you want to check any of the info while movin0 comments 21 views last activity

During the event, there was an astronomical amount of hard tunneling and camping in comparison to the normal day-to-day matches in DBD. Now that the event is over, I thought that it would return to normal, but I don't know if it's just how much I've been exposed to it recently but it still feels like when I play survivor 1/3 - 1/4 games is a hard tunnel or basement camp on me or one of my teammat32 comments 782 views last activity

This is mainly for Sadako. Whenever survivor's pick up a killer power item, whether it's a tape, an EMP, some sort of cleanse etc., it makes it impossible for the survivor to actually use the item they brought with them. With some, like a Nemi vaccine or Wesker spray, it doesn't make much of a difference since you can just pick it up when you need it and drop it when you're done. However, with ki1 comments 12 views last activity

As above, you should be able to see the speed of actions (relative to their default speed of 100%). With the addition of diminishing returns, it is way more difficult to know exactly how the perks we choose are applying. With Haste, thankfully unlike a few years ago we get a value alongside the Haste symbol, but for some reason the rest we have no way of seeing and action speeds are instead often0 comments 11 views last activity

As I said above, AFK crows should deactivate in a 2v1, specifically while one survivor is slugged. I'm an old player and forgot that they changed the AFK crow system a while back. I just got out of a game where we were left at 5 whole gens left, and my other teammate was on the ground. The killer slugged for the 4k for 3 straight minutes while I moved back and forth behind a snow pile. Eventually1 comments 12 views last activity

In a lot of my games recently, I noticed that when I load in there are already broken pallet remains on the floor in a lot of loops that never even had a pallet spawn in to begin with. Nobody has even had the chance to use these pallets let alone break them, so what's going on?1 comments 71 views last activity

I have been grinding DBD during the anniversary and playing the Black Banquet only because there are more bloodpoints to be had in the event mode. However, it gets so miserable. The little I played on killer I had a very difficult time getting kills with the all the event powers. When I used the poison a bunch it was somewhat manageable, but there was still a noticeable difference in balance. Whe34 comments 961 views last activity

The notification bubbles for when a survivor gets hooked, or a louse notification goes through for the killer has been around since I started playing 5 years ago, and I'm assuming has been around pretty much since the beginning of the game. Why on Earth does it cover up everything else on screen? The amount of times I have been on a generator as Survivor, someone gets hooked, the bubble pops up,5 comments 51 views last activity

As above, Jason shouldn't be able to see people on totems in Omnipresent Evil, at the very least not Hex totems. It makes it insanely easy to patrol totems with Thrill of the Hunt, making it painfully obvious when someone is on one. probably 2 in 3 of all the games I've played against a Jason have been a totem build with Thrill, Ruin, Blood Favour, and either Undying or Pentimento, and I don't kn0 comments 31 views last activity

Make survivor’s noises roughly the same loudness (different from volume). This doesn't have to be exact, but at the very least there are universally accepted quietest and loudest survivors, such as Bill and Jeff being louder than the flush of my toilet at 3am, and at the very least those can be adjusted to be slightly quieter or louder. More servers and more personally, a central US server. O3 comments 61 views last activity

Both Xeno and now Jason have proved that it is very possible to spawn in custom objects (tunnels/turret spawns and spike piles), and this mechanic could be extremely useful on some older killers that rely on things around the map as well. Add weapon rack / reload stations for killers like Huntress and Trickster, similar to how Jason not only gets spikes from hooks but also from custom reload4 comments 71 views last activity

These numbers do not need to be exact, they can always be adjusted. This is more so a general idea. Current: All killers: Gen kick: 1.8s Gen kick instant regression: 5% (7.5s or charges of gen repair) Gen kick regression over time: 0.25 charges/second (6min from 100% to 0%) Pallet/wall break: 2.34s Pallet stun duration: 2s Vault speed: 1.7s (survivor is 0.5s) Hook animation: 1.5s S0 comments 51 views last activity

I have decided I am bored and impatient LOL so I will be posting a bunch of my ideas for different game changes. I will be uploading them separately so that people can focus on one thing at a time and either like it or dislike it. I am sorry ahead of time for semi-flooding with new discussions, but I think it's great to have new ideas to consider! As of now, the auto spending button definitely is convenient, but it sucks that it isn't actually good for anything besides getting rid of bloodpoints fast. Spending bloodpoints manually can save you a couple hundred thousand bloodpoints in a single prestige level, and despite that the auto spender will still not pick up your most wanted items like bloody party streamers. I made a document with a bunch of changes I'd love to see and got some feedback from some friends and people on the forums, but posting in this category I want to focus on some simple adjustments to Anti-Tunnel and Anti-Camp. I've had a lot of time to kill as I'm waiting for a replacement part for my computer to get back up and running, and because of that I made a document with a bunch of changes I would make to DBD. None of these I am absolutely set on, numbers could always be tweaked as well, there are even parts where I give multiple options. I know because it's a lot more to read this post will probably get litt7 comments 151 views last activity

I think we can all agree that keys were WAY too OP before the update and needed to be nerfed. As someone who plays both killer and survivor, 4-man and 3-man hatch escapes are funny for the survivors but frustrating as all heck for the killers. However, now that hatch only spawns for the last survivor, there are a couple issues: I've had a survivor with a key hide in the corner of the map until8 comments 352 views last activity

As a person who plays a lot of Survivor, I have been in a lot of chases and have seen the different types of people that play as Killer. Everyone who has played the game, for example, is well aware of the face-camping killers, and you may also be familiar with the struggle of the killer sitting in the middle of a pallet so that you can't pull it down. When, in the title, I say a "new perk," I m2 comments 52 views last activity
