Plus crows circling is an afk player. If he just gave up, it was probably to go find that person. Who was afk.
I'd be interested to see the clip to see how long he was gone/at the player.

Hence the whole point of saving time of the body blocked and the moderators who have to examine the footage of said people being body blocked and decide whether or not to ban the killer involved. There's an argument to be had that implementing something like this would take away the time of the programmers involved in creating it, but I personally feel it would pay off in the long run.
Here's the links to the videos

I don't think this is reportable since it wasn't holding the game hostage. However, if you didn't file an in-game report, you're screwed.
I did report after the game ended but I wasn't sure if there was something else

Long days and pleasant nights. Welcoming all hot takes, unpopular opinions and tough questions, and we argue in this segment. What add-ons do you think are terrible on both sides? Some can even hurt your playstyle. My pick is speed limiter on Billy, why would you do that to yourself?
Alright gunslinger.
If I had to choose, either padded jaws, donut ring doctor, or speed limiter
-
Honestly, no. I would rather use pop, surge, or corrupt. Playing the RNG game on totem placements just isn't worth it.

Do you play on console or PC?

It's not the cool streamer kid Unbreakable/Decisive/Dead Hard/Adrenaline meta, but it sure performs for me consistently, up to red ranks. You all need to get on board with the AGGRESSIVE STEALTH meta. :D
I can definitely get behind this build. I just wish lithe had a bit more time with the speed boost. Even an extra second for the speed boost!
-
Ok I stand corrected. This is the greatest image of all time

This is the great image of all time.
-
I can dig it. I like to run perkless in high ranks for the extra challenge.

Survivor looping/ escape build: spine chill, resilience, dance with me, lightweight.
First 2 perks for quick vaults (especially when injured) and the other perks to lose the killer easily when you break line of sight.
That's why I run For The People with Resilience. I use FTP in a pinch and escape quickly. It has saved me and my random teammates a few times!

no addons
It's nice for farming BP and got a surprisingly strong synergy. Fire Up synergises with EW3 and PGTW. PGTW synergises with BBQ. BBQ synergises with EW3 and Dark Devotion.
Wait how does Fire Up work with EW3?! Explain to me

BBQ is understandable, its literally free double bloodpoints and a decent detection perk aswell. If We're Going To Live Forever also had a killer aura detection whenever you unhook someone(which it should, no reasons not to), you'd be running that perk almost always aswell.
NOED has different uses and while it can be used as training wheels for some killers, its mostly used as a speedboost for other killers(and pretty much the only counter to Adrenaline).
I'm not disagreeing on NOED. I just find it boring to play against when I do play survivor. After the last gen pops, I just assume the killer has NOED and okay accordingly
-
If you run BBQ and or NOED, I automatically assume you're a bad and boring killer.
-
Imma go against the grain and say skip on Leatherface. BBQ, while a great perk to help mitigate the grind for BP, doesn't really justify the purchasing price. And to add to that, I just find him very boring to play as.
If you're looking for a challenge get Ghostface or Myers.
I enjoy the pig but I'm not a fan of RNG deciding if my RBT goes off in my favor or not.

It's a second chance by nature, because it isn't the exit gates. It can even open when no gens have been done. But I get it. Hatch is a flawless jewel of a mechanic.
Dawg I'm a killer main, currently rank 2, and even I see why it's there. I didn't say it was "flawless". There are faults with it as I stated; like multiple survivors escaping with one key being used, but calling it a second chance mechanic because it allows (when used at the end of the game) a SINGLE survivor to escape the trial when the REST of their team has died does not make it a crutch.
Accept the fact that not every game is a 4k and move on. This thread is literally pissing in the wind and complaining that you're getting wet from it.
-
Freddy. He can not be harmed in the real world. All he would have to do is wait for all of them to fall asleep and bang, it's over.
-
If anything, the hatch enables the game to actually come to an end. Otherwise, a lone survivor would not be able to complete the final gen AND open the exit gate without being spotted by the killer.
Least the hatch gives them a chance to escape since it is RNG based.
While I do believe keys need to be looked at (least when it comes to more than one survivor escaping), calling the hatch a "crutch" or second chance mechanic is entirely incorrect.
-
One thing that works for me, especially if they managed to do it before, is to simply stop and back up a step or two then swing. Survivors tend to not expect that and it makes the 360 into nothing more than a waste of energy.
-
Wait. Killers get too much information in a lobby?
Information given(if I forget something please correct me):
1. Survivor model/ skin
2. Survivor name
3. Items brought to trial
4. Offerings once trial starts
Killers do not see add-ons or perks but I'm assuming you're referring to killers being able to see items brought to the trial as "too much information given"?
That is completely fair and balanced. It's nice to know what to expect when you're playing killer.

Yeah, and I really don't believe the devs just don't know how to optimize console, and todays systems are more than capable of running a game like this perfectly. I think it's been a lack of interest due to numbers we are not privy to. Hopefully this crossplay will be what gets them to actually make the game run as it should on consoles.
Honestly I hope so. I want this game to succeed on all systems but I also understand it's hard to introduce it to some of my friends who may be interested when it runs incredibly poorly at times.

You honestly have to play the game on console to understand. You're lucky if you achieve 30 fps most times it is much lower than that. If someone were to come into my house while I was playing DBD on my ps4 pro they would think I broke out my ps2.
I'm saying. Just last night I was playing and when Freddy slapped me, I swear I was in single digits for a solid 15 seconds

why should it be "console only"? i want to play with my friends on console and just because we use a different input or have "better optimizations" doesn't mean we don't get to play with other platforms
The problem is the optimizations, or lack there of, on console. Constant frame drops, hiccups during gameplay, input delay, and straight up crashing on console is an everyday thing. The advantage PC users would have on us is incredible.
Like I said though, if you read my post all the way, if they turn on crossplay between us and PC I would be okay with it as long as the game is running smoothly on ALL consoles first.
-
Blindness is definitely more useless.
-
Honestly it is a good idea but how do you go about ranking perks? Even some situational perks are insanely strong and some meta perks are broken at times or, in the case of ruin, not as strong as they once were
-
I play on Xbox One X. Crossplay is something ive wanted between CONSOLES. The performance on console vs PC is night and day. If they want to implement crossplay between console and PC, fine but they definitely need to optimize the game on consoles first. Stable frames are a good start.

Rank 3 killer. Takes me upwards of 5-10 minutes for a match

I hate 3rd person mori animations. For some animations its essential to have them in 1st person, like Nurse. From the survivors' pov it looks like a low-budget horror movie, but from the killers' pov, you can really feel it. Staring into the survivor's face as you kill them with your bare hands.
Hmmmmmm
-
The Collector from the film series of the same name
Killer: Collector
Survivor: Arkin
-
Pallets are the same amount and to be honest, I find it easier to loop killers when I play survivor now. Strong tiles are closer together on some maps so it's literally just one big circle.
-
Dawg I just 4k using a killer I've never used before at red ranks.
@thai_libra said:
You're not alone man I keep getting the same problem, like I don't wanna meet the toxic AF red rankers with their damn perks and SWF orgy. I've played many killer games lately and can't help notice that gens pop way too quickly and it's so impossible to play as killer now. Here's an example.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/5O0ZVRNU35MV/screenshot-195-li.jpg
I know i'm in purple ranks man, but I just can't take this anymore, if I don't equip an ebony mori I don't know how killers are going to survive, I mean shouldn't it be the survivors doing the surviving not the slaughtering????
My advice? Drop at least one of your Hex perks. Focus on perks that help you locate survivors. Finding them is the hard part. Chasing them down is much easier because at some point, you will down them. It's basic math.

This was actually the first horror movie I saw and I was waaaaaay too young to see it. When I thought about my first horror movie, I updated myself like 3 times by refreshing memories and finally I got stuck with IT. I never thought about IT when thinking about horror movies I watched, because watching horror movies I always did intentionally. Except IT. I noticed that I did not treat this movie as horror movie back in the days as I wasn't familiar with that concept o.O
I watched it because it featured a clown and my parents were not around XD
I remember watching it when I was 3. My uncle's put it on and it scared me so bad. Honestly it's the first movie I remember watching and it definitely set me down a path of being obessed with Horror movies in general.
Pennywise is a staple in pop culture and anyone who disagrees is a fool.

@Deadeye said:
"Pennywise hasn't been all that impactful on the horror genre"
Dude, this movie kinda raised Coulrophopia in the world. Not sure if you grew up during Stephen Kings big time or seen the original movie when it came out, but I hardly disagree on this one.
Also Jason legal issues were bypassed by the boardgame that is released this year, see PaulieEsther. The Candyman actor confirmed that he is voice acting for a video game but is not allowed to talk about it.
Beneath that, we have currently a list of like 10 possible licensed killers. So your argumentation or sort-out approach is a bit thin
I'm saying. Did anyone here grow up in the early 90s!? That miniseries was HUGE! I still to this day remember being terrified of showers drains and freaking out thinking he was going to climb out if one.
-
Killer: Mad Grit, Play With Your Food, Blood Warden, Dark Devotion
Survivor: Red Herring, For The People, Poised, Second Chance
-
Or just use the matchmaking as a way to see how good you really are. Ranks mean very little in this game.
-
Clicky clicky gets the hook.
Excessive teabagging on top of pallet stuns, clicks? Yeah I'll just watch you die as the timer runs out.
And God help you if you have a key and run Object of Obsession.
-
It depends on how comfortable you feel. I've used both but definitely prefer controller.
-
Myers without a doubt. Dude is just evil distilled.
He doesn't kill because he likes it. He does it because he has too. It's apart of him.
-
If a team all gets slugged before one gen pops, that's on the survivors not the killer.
Look at it like this: would you be upset if you popped all five gens before the killer downed one of you? I highly doubt it.
Sometimes you get outplayed. Deal with it.
-
A pirate captain. Weapon would be a saber and pistol combo. Pistol has an extremely long reload (black powder weapons have a fire rate at about 1 per minute. Extend it further for balance though) with considerably reduced speed while reloading and is very, very inaccurate at long range but can instadown survivors if hit. Saber is just the basic M1. Other idea for alt weapon some type of thrown explosive?
Perk ideas:
Down With The Ship: when you hook a survivor in the basement and they are unhooked, they are affected by a random status effect.
Stolen Treasure: imagine Franklin's Demise but hides the dropped item in a spawned chest or maybe in the basement. Extremely long cooldown. Can only affect each survivor one time(listen I've never thought of perk ideas before)
-
Ghostface
Legion
Plague
Those 3 are definitely my mains. Though I'm starting to get a better feel for Wraith now!

Nah. Ain't no rules in the kill zone!

I always play solo survivor, rank 3, and I always have fun with my games. I'm not playing sweaty or complaining about add-ons. It's just a game and some of y'all would be better off remembering that consistently.
It's a horror game in which you are placed against a supernatural killer. Expecting to die sometimes; even dumb ways, and you'll have a lot more fun.
