I just dont understand the idea behind bringing a breakable wall in killer shack. It is completely unnecessary given it's a wonderful design and the loop is decent within it and not at all OP. Just for the record, once the pallet is down you eliminate strong loops so why would you insert a breakable wall then as u have just killed the fun inside of the shack. Please reconsider this and I hope sincerely other maps having killer shack not to resemble this new Mao's one. Otherwise, I am afraid that I will be leaving this game cuz Dead by Daylight has lost its iconic design and killed the fun in the game. Please let me have your thoughts on this. Not to mention that the new map having no legit loops. It makes me want to have the killer killing me right from the start because I wont enjoy those nonsense design loops.
Later, nerd

I welcome the change.

Clear out some of the useless things in the blood webs. If I could add a feature, it'd be being able to sell things back to the blood web.
This is a fantastic idea!

I brought snacks

Definitely enjoy the map from both sides.
Killers like Legion, Freddy, and Trapper thrive on it due to narrow hallways.
Survivor wise it's super satisfying when you manage to lose the killer while looping.

Did I claim this is driving me to PTSD?
Not you ya doofus. Referring to the OP when taking to you.

Maybe it's good he has this game as an outlet to prevent some road rage or shoulder check incident in public to incite a violent reaction.
You truly might be on to something. Especially if you're letting this of all things drive you to claiming PTSD

Probably not the Jeepers Creepers killer, especially because of what happened with the actor...
Believe you're thinking of the director being an actual creep

Yo if a game affects you this much, stop playing. I don't care how much you enjoy the game or whatever you say because at the end of the day, your health and sanity is waaay more important than this.

I agree. He is a complex killer. Maybe it would work with add ons and creating different Tiers (like Myers have). But I think the devs won't really put time into such a complex killer.
If she had Infectious Fright built in and worked on different tiers of fear akin to the Doctor then maybe. But there's isn't really a ton of lore considering Pennywise to go off on.
Don't get me wrong, I'd enjoy seeing Pennywise in the game. "It" is one of my favorite novels of all time but i dunno
-
I don't think Pennywise would really work in DBD. Pennywise is able to tap into your deepest fears to "salt the meat". I don't see the engine being able to handle Pennywise changing into 4 different creatures (if each survivor is different and has different fears). At best, she would be either the massive spider or the Deadlights but again, I don't see how the Deadlights would even work.

Spirit is fine. The difference between a good Spirit player and a bad one is night and day.
-
Awful bait
-
This is actually a terrible idea
-
The Prisoner
-
It's about damn time. Now he just needs to be able to carry more than one at basekit
-
Bad bait 2/10
-
Rancor is fine. You have so much warning even before it says after the last gen pops.
Don't get caught slipping at the end. Really that simple.
-
Bait 4/10
-
The Creeper, Pennywise, FNaF, and Chucky. Zero desire to ever see them in the realm.

You don't need to move the camera to get 360 degrees of movement on a controller.

... please say you are just joking and isn't that dense
Dense? Nah man. Playing with a MOUSE AND KEYBOARD on a console is 200% cheating. That's why competitive games like Siege and PUBG will ban you if it's proven you are using it on console.
If you want to play with it, play on a PC.
-
Play on PC if you want Mouse and keyboard support. Really that simple
-
Bait 6/10
-
It's up to you as the killer. Sometimes it's better to tunnel one into the ground (example: you manage to down the best survivor in game. You know he's gonna be a pain in your ass later on so you decide to kill em now to save a headache)
Sometimes it's a bad idea (organized teams).
It's up to you.
-
Doctor is super easy to counter even without calm spirit. Bait the shock and make sure you can loop if you can't pallet drop/ vault.
Or run head on with quick and quiet. He'll hate you

Tip learned the hard way and still learning: theres probably a reason the killer is basically letting all the gens on one side go without much of a fight.
This is my strategy and I'm upset you posted it hahahaha

Imagine thinking sprint burst is OP
-
I normally use sprint burst and pre vault when I notice him going for his shock. It's especially useful in the shack or bus loop

Ghostface lead our conga line into the basement to where we all died :( It was fun though, started of with me t-bagging and Ghostface t-bagging each other and then somehow it formed into a conga line after a few head-on stuns.
I love matches like that because we all bad fun. Although 4 of us died we had a great laugh
I love when people come together for a laugh in this game. Last time I played Ghostface, I trapped a Bill in the survivor shack and we just traded teabags while the rest worked on the gens. Ended up slugging two of em and watched em crawl towards the exitgate almost like a race.

The only time I run OoO is when I'm using head-on doing memes. Last time I used it I formed a conga line against a Ghostface
God I would have loved to have seen that hahaha.
@Accullla said:
Well OoO and decisive go hand in hand. For the other two slots I like unbreakabill, because you as the object you get slugged a lot and adrenaline, cause you'll probably be in a chase when the last gen pops. There's always the vault build as well, I. E. Resilience and spine chill
I really need to unlock unbreakable. I've actually never played as Bill and don't even have BT unlocked

1st Pick Ghostface
2nd Legion
If I'm feeling extra sweaty:Spirit

Hence why killers need better tools...
Both sides need some love but man, that shouldn't even be possible.
-
Was Billy on Swamps. He was chasing one survivor but said survivor swapped out with another (probably in a party together going off of how it looked).
Regardless. 5 gens popped in 4 minutes is actually gross.
-
Killer: fall for the most obvious loop. Like the ironworks ledge. Every. Damn. Time.
Survivor: I am waaaay too altruistic and it gets me killed more often than not.
-
Legion is great once you understand what your Feral Frenzy (FF)is capable of.
I love to hit everyone with it once then when I get to the last person, I'll hit them then immediately snap out of the FF while keeping an eye on the survivor so when the animation ends, I can resume the chase and down them.
Run Sloppy Butcher, Pop Goes The Weasel(if you have it. Ruin will work, too but you really don't need it for Legion), BBQ n Chili, and Bitter Murmur. Add-ons get a little different but anything that increases the killer instinct detection range and reduces the cool down on your FF will work.
-
Didn't get a chance to play much last month but
Survivor: Rank 8. Normally 4-6
Killer: Rank 5
Age: 29
-
Old Saboteur was one of the most broken perks ever at launch are you kidding?
Do you remember the basement camps? I sure as hell do.

I’m still going to buy things, even if I dislike the changes, I still like dbd.
Believe me, I love the game too. It's one of three games I play on my days off from the hospital but this is a bad move 200%
-
@BeanieBoyBob said:
Agreed. I've been avoiding mentioning Survivor-sided bias for the devs - but this is really showing how they are assessing the game. I don't feel like they are playing high rank Killer with some of the comments I've seen about the role.
Truth be told, I don't think they're playing at all outside of trying certain mechanics. It just doesn't make sense how most of these changes get through. It's like dealing with the PUBG team.
-
Hex's are high risk/ high reward. If I'm running a HEX perk, I expect a STRONG perk and this rework is not one.
Killer matches will now be over in a matter of minutes at higher ranks and that is fun for no one.
-
It all depends on my mood at that moment. When I start booking and killing survivors, I try to decide
A. Do I want to let one live?
B. If so, which one?
But it's still up to them because it can always change with how the match is going. If they start getting super sweaty or start tea bagging, it's curtains for all.

After I saw Solstice I had to play Legion for awhile
I literally binged the second season in one night and did the same with the third when it came out.
Shame we gotta wait like two years till the fourth (if we even get one)

Spirit and Wraith are among the best killers when you put some practice in and understand their limits.
Keep playing. You'll get there.

Strangers is another good pick. We could get by with legion cosmetics for them though, I love Legion because they fit into so many slasher roles. The killers from the different seasons of the Slasher series on Netflix would be cool and Joey's his-vis horror outfit is basically The Druid from Slasher season 3
I'm so happy someone else has watched Slasher. God I love that show.
-
Also sack guy from THE STRANGERS
-
Dracula
Map would be Dracula's castle. Probably use Ormond as a template.
Power: turn into the fog and float around the map. Think Spirit level invisibility mixed with Demo's tunnel vision (you can't see the survivors but you can hear em/ detect their heartbeat)
Perk ideas
Smell the blood of injured survivors. Bloodstains are more vibrant and stay much longer.
Teleport to the crows around the map. Huge cooldown but having a killer that is tied to those little winged vermin would be cool and Dracula/ vampires are known to take the forms of various animals.
Some type of bloodfury ability. I was imagining something akin to sloppy butcher but with a mend feature added to it. Survivors bleed out and risk going into the dying state if they can't heal fast enough.
I just really like the old movie monsters and am a huge horror movie buff. I have so many different ideas in my head hahaha. But gimme Dracula, Wolfman, and for more modern ideas THE COLLECTOR

I'm not comparing the genres. Please read the post before commenting. I compare how the devs of both games develop the game. I'm not comparing that you can use guns in one and the other one is horror.
I did. Multiple times at that because I honestly can't believe you came here with such a terrible take.
FN has the backing of a major studio. DBD does not.
FN has a playerbase that stretches into the millions. DBD does not.
Said MILLION PLUS players provide FN with near limitless funds. DBD is like living in a two-bedroom apartment while you make making slightly above minimum wage and are trying to make it.
What I'm getting at is you have a game that is HUGE WORLDWIDE and a game that made a minor splash. Of freaking course FN will be updated regularly/ tweaked consistently while we wait for fixes and patches.
Want DBD to be on par with FN? Give the devs a billion dollars. Bet ya it'll be perfect by week's end.
