Rasha, around 2-3, we got the whole family as they were originally abandoned cats, I inform all of my cats they are adorable just to make sure they know
Good. It is very important to inform one's cat that they are adorable just in case they somehow forget.
-
Some very important discussion questions:
What is their name?
How old are they?
Did you just get them and if so, how?
Do they realize they're so incredibly adorable? If not, could you please inform them so they are aware?

Easily the most important discussion this forum has ever seen

OH MY GOSH, CAN I COPY THAT
That LITERALLY sums up my experience of DBD with my friend, lol
I basically just used the Snip Tool to Snip the three images and pasted them in PAINT before snipping the full image but if you want to use it, go for it :D

This only works with lower skilled survivors. They gotta learn to take what chase they can get, then immediately hop on a gen if killer won’t commit. If they can last in chase that is.
That is true but at least based on the criteria the OP put in their post, the survivor who doesn't know when to stop trying to bait the killer and stays off the gens just trying to get the killer to chase them is the survivor I'm going up against. And if that is the survivor I'm up against, I'm going to ignore them because nothing makes them saltier than being ignored :D
-
As a killer, I love those players
It's amazing how insistent they are that I chase them and when I don't, they just stay on my ass trying to get me to chase them. It's free pressure! I especially like getting messages from them later asking if I was scared or something. Not scared, I'm just not an idiot who gets into chases with the guy who is very clearly baiting me to the strong loops 🤣

Played evil dead for a while. Gets super boring cause it’s the same thing over and over, you know what people have with the characters they bring. And the setup being the evil one is so tedious
Same
I bought the special edition hoping for something else to play but I got bored of it relatively quickly. It's like DBD but even more tedious as being the Evil in the game usually involves 10-15 minutes of me flying around not interacting with anyone until either a survivor does something dumb like get in a vehicle or shoot a gun, I get lucky and I happen to run into them, or they find the three pieces of the map and half the game is over before I've had any interaction at all.
Then either I would curb stomp the hell out of the survivors now that I've found them or I would get the hell curb stomped out of me. I had very few close games I felt (EDIT: Though Note, I haven't played since whenever the Castle level was added so it's been at least a month so maybe they've got it better situated by now).
It was fun for a little bit but The Evil Dead game is the last thing I'd want to have the devs take notes from...
-
As a killer, I always make sure the snitch is the one who dies. Snitches end up in Ditches bro.
Ideally I also am able to allow the non-snitches to survive. It doesn't always happen as sometimes it looks like they're snitching on each other so I'm not sure who is the bad guy and who is the good guy, in which case I'll likely just kill them both and let God sort it out.
-
I find hag irritating to go against but that's a design issue, not a player issue. Her powers are just boring to go against, especially as most hag players just trap spam the hook area. But I'm blaming the killer, not the player for it so I'm not going to throw a fit in the chat about it.
-
I do not unless I am purposefully trying to apply pressure or if it's a bully squad that I'm hoping to catch unaware with Bloodwarden
After the gens are done is a time when you can really snowball the game from a dead game to a 4K if you're survivors are cocky and/or stupid enough

I have been informed by my brother that the code still works and it's such a good code that it deserves another day in the spotlight so here's a rare second picture of Holly for everyone to love!

I understand why they made the change but I too miss old BBQ. Getting those stacks was always a fun side thing to do.

Conniption (down 30 survivors using Yamaoka's Haunting)
I've got most of the achievements so I decided to start going for the few I don't have. I never got the hang of Spirit so I never really used her until now to get the achievement. It was funny though that I've been playing this game now for over two years but didn't have such a basic achievement unlocked.
-
Very very very rarely
As a survivor, I use crouching as my way of communicating
As a killer, the only time I'll ever nod "No" at someone is when I catch myself a cheater or they were an absolute jerkface at me (like macro clickers). I'll nod "Yes" if I'm trying to tell a survivor to go ahead (so like if the last survivor drops an item for me at the EGC to "trade" their life, I'll nod Yes to that to let them know that I have accepted their offering and will allow them to live).
Since I'm on a controller, nodding very fast just doesn't work very well

It's not just landing the chains, it's landing them at the right time during the loop. Similar to a clown bottle, you are trying to get them at the apex of the loop while you are at the pallet. If you randomly land a chain sure, it might not do very much.
I don't see why you wouid ever play a killer and then not use the power. All the slowdown in the world doesn't make that worth it, you might as well play a dedicated M1 killer like Wraith instead. A good survivor team will dumpster a 115 M1 killer with no real mobility or chase power
It's not that you can't use the chains, it's just that I find it's rare that they are actually useful. In the situations they are useful in, I'll launch them
For me, Pinhead's power is the Chain Hunt, not his actual chains. My goal is to make the trial last as long as I can and let the Chain Hunt whittle away at the survivors.

This is bad advice imo. With this you give up half your build and it's relying on RNG. A big map and this build is useless, small maps it can be good still.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3183321#Comment_3183321
Also bad advice. Playing him as an M1 killer with a 10s slowdown? If you can't land the chains at loops, play a different character. He is labeled "very hard" for a reason. The chains are plenty to shut down most loops if you land them at the right time.
I would reccomend running 3x slowdowns and a chase perk. He is a killer who can be very painful at loops if you don't land chains like a robot so having something like bamboozle will make your life 10x easier.
His addons are still insane and he's got plenty of DC inducing combinations.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/54BJENG3MB4A/capture-png.png
This one gets the DCs flowing. You can nail people on gens with the fang from outside his terror radius which is stupid as hell; and then hysteria usually has people running around blindly trying to figure out where you are even coming from after they eat the fang hit
I respectfully disagree
I've gotten pretty good at hitting the chains. It is very rare that I hit someone with the chain to slow them down that saved me more time than just walking like normal and smacking them. Once in a while it does pay off (especially if they're a console player who hasn't changed their bindings so they do the slow crawl over the pallet they just dropped) but more often than not, I find it is a very risky power to use that rarely is worth the risk
But ultimately it's your call how you run your Pinhead
NOTE: This is my playstyle based on base kit Pinhead. YMMV on this advice pending your add-ons like the add-on screenshot you posted above
-
I do
Hell, chances are I never even noticed the killer gave up. I might sit on the gen wondering how the killer is doing so badly that they don't even have someone injured all this time but if the killer has given up, I'll get ish done ASAP and leave because if you're quitting, I don't want to be in that trial any more than you do at that point. I'm here to play the game and a game with no killer isn't playing the game.
-
It's unfortunate but for the most part, your powers of the chain are absolutely useless. They are a high risk, low reward power that you almost should never use unless you are REALLY good at it (and even then...). The chains in the best case scenario is that you save a two seconds of chase time but the worst case scenario is you miss and the survivor just got even farther away from you (or a lot of times it's a wash as they break the chains so fast that it would have been the same amount of time for you to just keep walking to the survivor). If you insist on using your chain powers, try to put the spawn point of the chain on top of the survivor so you basically just launch it and it hits right away. That takes some getting used to but once you get used to it, it's the best way I've found to use his chains.
If a survivor starts working on the box and you see their little heartbeat thingy, teleport to them only if you are doing nothing else at the time and they're far away. If they are close, walk to them as you might get able to get a hit before they see you (since they are oblivious when they hold the box) and best case scenario you get the hit AND they keep the box in their hand (if you down them with the box in their hand, it'll trigger Chain Hunt). If you use Franklin's Demise with him, that will also cause the Chain Hunt to trigger. I do not do this but I know many Pinheads will.
Personally I find the box so hard to see and it's so quiet that I don't really bother looking for it. Play like a normal M1 killer and keep pressure on survivors like you normally would and let Chain Hunt be an additional pressure cooker. Chain Hunt is when you can really snowball things because survivors can't really do anything while it is happening.
Hopefully something in here helps you

I've received toxic messages before. I just LOL at them because it's funny.
-
I hate when they have these ones but I especially hate when it's towards the beginning of the Archive so you kind of have to do it right away instead of being able to let it sit there and get it done eventually.
It REALLY sucks now that the blast mine nerf took away one of the more reliable ways to actually get some damn stuns...

Example of a game of mine. I maxed out Objectives, 10,000 is max.
I did 3 generators, 2 of them by myself. I didn't get any more credit for the rest of the gens I did because of cap limit of 10k. So yes, rest of team was running killer, but I was doing my job doing Generators. I also unhooked and healed people, with 5k Altruism.
Yet I was 3rd on the scoreboard score at end game. Here you come along and say I didn't do anything by looking at the scoreboard.
I never said that. At all.
I said I'm good at determining who did stuff in the game and who didn't. The Scoreboard is a helpful piece of data for me to confirm my suspicious but I also...you know...play the game. I can generally tell when someone actually did stuff and when someone just hid the entire time and didn't do stuff.
But at this point, we're just going round and round in circles so I refer back to Dr Cox on my thoughts and bow out of this
-
I try to say GG to people when it is actually a good game but since I'm on Console, it seems pretty rare that my opponent happens to also be on Console. Although I never send GG when I win as enough people took it badly for whatever reason that it just wasn't worth the effort (though I will return the GG if the losing side sends it first).

So be it? I'm showing you that scoreboard is not indicative of team effort. There is a cap on how many points you can get for a category, like Objectives, and if you keep repairing generators after that, you don't get any credit for it, doesn't show up on scoreboard.
Someone can do a lot for the team, but if they take only 1 chase but do a bunch of gens and heals, their score won't be as high as the guy you chased all game (Boldness category). People who play the "hidey person" playstyle suffer from this problem.
How can you sit there and then say the hidey person did nothing and then play favorites. This is why you would frustrate people.
Yes, so be it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JODwetfioWAI've been playing for a long time and have a ton of hours (way way way too many hours...). I am very good at determining who did stuff and who didn't. When I do inevitably do get it wrong?

You have no idea what was going on behind the scenes on survivor side. Scoreboard does not tell the whole story. Someone can do 2-3 gens, unhook 2 people, heal 3 people, but because they were very good at hiding from your patrols, they didn't take much chases and so they don't have 5k+ from Boldness category (killer chases).
So here you are, giving credit to the guy you chased, but not credit to the guy who did gens. According to you, the hidey person did nothing. Except they did a lot, but you have no clue as to the full picture of what's going on survivor side.
Shrugs

The onyl thing i like to add here, some killers think its the other guy who's a snitch, while hiding so the killer teams up with the "non snitch" to get that guy out.
Other of that, its ok when the killer picks a favourite.
Its just funny if you loop a killer all game and he wants to kill you to give the hatch to a guy, who didnt do a single gen. XD Thats the only thing frustrating, cause it feels like the other didnt deserve it at all.
I've talked about my "rules" for getting the hatch previously and while they're absolutely not bullet proof, I get a pretty good sense of who was useful during the game and who was the hidey person not doing a thing. I have let people go who, upon seeing the Scoreboard, I went "Whoops, that person didn't deserve that" but way more often than not, the person I choose to let go is easily on top of the leaderboard, even taking the 5,000 points away from me letting them go.
Or in some cases like the survivor I just let go right now, they asked nicely! The EGC started cause I shut the Hatch but they dropped their item and pointed at the gate. How could I refuse such a wonderful trade?!?!?
(He also was at the top of the leaderboard by 10,000 points, which I had a feeling would happen given that match and what I saw out of them)
-
If a survivor attempts to snitch on his partner, I'm going to make sure the snitch dies. Snitches end in ditches bro!!!
However, if you're asking that I don't ever allow anyone to escape (including the last person I absolutely have dead to rights), that's gonna be a big No Go. I have my own internal rules for when people are given the mercy escape and I have no intention of changing that, even if it makes the other survivors who I have killed and may be watching feel bad.

I don't think a killer who is face camping would care if you point.
Plus if I'm going to do anything, I'm going to crouch and slap their bum
-
I don't know if this is an option since you're asking but...
Neither
Both of those are Original Chapters, which means both of them can be earned without having to pay money
BUT if you do insist on buying one or the other, @FFirebrandd pretty well nails it. Both killers are considered to be on the weaker side (personally I find them both super fun but they are both pretty much C Tier killers).
The write-up Fire did on the perks is solid advice.
-
I feel like I'm either lucky, my years of playing this game as solo queue has numbed me from caring, I never used meta perks so my playstyle didn't have to change at all, or maybe it's the shiny new Happy Pills my doctor has me on but I have stayed pretty much the same on my opinions on solo queue.
I've personally really enjoyed the new solo queue experience, though I do seem to be in the minority in that opinion. I get to play a much wider variety of killers now (because killers can play more than just Blight or Nurse now without getting their teeth kicked in) and I find it way funner to play against the variety with the tradeoff being that I get killed a lot more often.
Solo Queue absolutely does need some love (the Icons that BHVR supposedly was putting in at some point some day maybe possibly in the potential future of one of the multiverse timelines that @Nick above posted would be super) but I've really enjoyed the new solo experience a lot more than I would have expected considering how often I get killed in it.

Honestly? I think the survivors that instantly dc/suicide at first down/hook for no reason at all, should think about taking a break. They´re obviously not enjoying the game and ruin it for everyone else.
This
I for one am still enjoying solo queue but right now the main thing that would make it 1000 times better would be the babies throwing a fit who just DC or Suicide the second things don't go their way would just leave the game. That would go a long way to making solo queue far more enjoyable.

With how wonky MMR can be, I've gone up against opponents that had no business going up against a killer of my level. The kind of matches where somehow not ONE generator is finished as I just cut my way through the entire team like a hot knife through butter.
I always feel bad when that happens and try to take my food off the gas if I recognize the signs while playing.

Honestly, the big meta patch is a major reason for me not using him so much but in a positive way
I used to use Bubba a lot because in general, he was kind of an equalizer for me against really good teams. His powers made him a constant thread so people were kind of forced to respect him (and if someone didn't, I could very easily teach them why it's a poor idea to mock a Bubba).
With the big killer patch, my variety of killers expanded greatly. I always feel like no matter what killer I play as now, I always have at least a chance to win. So instead of feeling like I HAVE to play as Bubba to have a chance to have some fun, now I can play just about any killer on the roster and feel like I can have some fun.

Old DH was absolute hell and should never ever even be remotely possibly considered even being thought about maybe deciding to potentially bring it back.
While Survivor side could absolutely do with a little bit of love right now as the scales balanced a bit too far with the big meta patch, bringing back old DH should NEVER even be considered. That perk made playing killer absolutely miserable and I'd seriously consider dropping the game if they chose to bring it back again.
EDIT: Apologies, I quoted the wrong post, which seems like a hell of a feat on my part since there were only two posts...
-
I greatly hate that as well
On the "plus" side, I've determined I can kind of work around it. If the killer goes to the side, you'll see them right away but if you never see the killers aura, you can usually safely assume they're headed in your direction since unless they walk directly away from you, they'll always be in that bubble if they are walking towards you and therefore you won't ever see their aura. If they're going to facecamp or whatever, you'll see that once the aura goes away.
It's not the perfect fix but it at least helps a bit.
