Because disabling the pods are far easier to do than skull merchant and the Larry doesn't know his biopods disabled until he walks near it or looks through it meaning he will basically take longer to reach that gen. By far his best playstyle is just full on chase early game compared to gen defense then a mix between both mid/late game.
Disabled pods have a yellow aura instead of a white one when you look at the with singularity

You got some good perk builds i could use on him?
Lethal is my favorite perk on him. That and bbq. Always knowing where survivors are,, are the best perks I’ve played on him so far
-
I’ll set up a few of his bio things, but I’ve found that they are better when used while chasing. Fire one off ahead of the survivor, take half a second to hit them with the slipstream. If they emp then, you just use another. Then the next half a second that you use will teleport to them, or just firing at them at that point also teleports you to them.
I think most people are using them primarily as gen defense, so survivors will emp the hell out of them.
-
I always walk backwards when reeling in, unless at a window. It makes the reeling so much faster
-
got super frustrated as wesker last night, 4 gens done and 1 hook. Then they thought they’d try a bunch of saves. Coming with flashlights for a save, and I picked one up at a pallet knowing they’d try to save as well (I was blocking it just enough to turn and hit him) got a 4k in the basement for sticking it out
-
I honestly like killer cause if I don’t do great, it’s mostly on me and I can’t blame a team member for it.
-
Not gonna lie, I enjoy running starstruck, agitation, lethal, and bbq wesker. It’s my favorite, cause it helps as makes survs leave gens when I approach. But guess what I’m not using? Any gen slowdowns…

I haven't played Evil Dead myself, but surely "the same thing over and over" isn't too different from DbD?
It is when the maps are even bigger, as the evil one you have specific places only you can lay traps/spawn baddies. Sometimes it can take two minutes when the good guys do an objective to even get back to them, then it’s back to laying traps again.
-
Played evil dead for a while. Gets super boring cause it’s the same thing over and over, you know what people have with the characters they bring. And the setup being the evil one is so tedious

I disagree. He's fine. How you can't catch someone in a loop when you can close 30m gaps and jump pallets is beyond me. Stop making mistakes and wanting the game to correct them with crutch perks/addons.
He’s still has a slow recovery after vaulting, and at most loops vs a competent survivor he’s an m1, especially if that survivor waits till the last second to drop the pallet
-
Only recently started using starstruck cause I don’t like gen slowdown, and when I don’t use starstruck, get the t baggers, and people that won’t leave once the gates open. Eventually I’ll settle into something I like more.

So now I'm getting sucked into his grasp while standing 5 miles away from him...great job.
Been playing as wesker since he came out, haven’t been able to come close to something that didn’t look like I shouldn’t have gotten the hit. Except a grab during a pallet drop that succeeds and puts us both back on my side

Yup Ive been using it main issue is most maps I play people get downed in places with like 0 lockers around the hooks.
don’t need the locker for this one, place your remnant down out of sight and keep using it as you leave
-
One of my fun options is make your choice, after hooking someone hide your remnant around a corner and run away. The unhooker will be exposed and you can teleport back right after
-
Wesker, dredge, and deathslinger
-
That there aren't enough offerings for bloodpoints, my biggest tho, is maps. Always get big maps when I play Pig, or the Game when I wanna be an M1.
-
My favorite at the moment is BBQ, Awakened, Starstruck and the one where you vault fast from Wesker, (Cant remember the name). With Weskie's 40m terror radius, I don't really need slowdown perks
-
Would make sense to have two separate modes, especially if there were exclusive rewards for rank in competetive
-
Perk: Heavens intervention
Once unhooked this perk activates, for the next 90 seconds if the survivor is downed and hooked again, the hook breaks instead, and another random hook spawns nearby (helps with abusing). Deactivates during ecg, or after using a conspicuous action.

If I assume they are heavy handed with the flashlights, fake a pickup, look at the survivor like you are going to pick them up, but instead, start charging your power or something so I looks like you are going for the pickup. Then they run out for the save “Whallop” Gets them at least once or twice every time. Although it’s annoying I also know I’ll be getting a lot of points and usually at least get three of em
-
Does the blindness hex perk make the hex aura gone also? For plaything I mean
-
Distortion, used it for the first time, killer had awakened awareness and bbq. Thank got it gets charges back (why I never used it before)
-
I think my favorite part of his power so far, is that you can’t use it if you’re directly on a survivor, it just won’t activate
-
Trick I’ve seen so far is that his survivor hit box is the the right of him, not center of him. So if a survivor is on your left when you dash you miss

I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if there somehow ended up being an alignment issue based off of not adjusting offsets after changing the values, especially if they weren't center aligned. It might sound weird but its not entirely unheard of, and part of the reason why people tend to prefer center alignment instead of just making compensation adjustments in the first place. Since their models change their overall x/y representation regularly, one would assume everything would be based off of the center of the representation, but they center it around the part of the character that is planted on the ground, which is why their feet up to the middle of their back is the closest thing we have to what type of alignment they are using and what causes it to go jank.
Also, watch weskers shadow, his legs don’t move lol

If I might make a suggestion, decreasing both collision variables by half was likely a big part of what caused most of the issues. Considering the power is based on first person perspective with locked movement, making survivor hurtboxes smaller makes it much more obvious that they are not aligned at all with their movement animations. Its basically like the huntress hatchets dilemma, but a lot more pronounced since survivors are straight up clipping through the middle of your screen as you pass by. I think thats also why some people havent run into it as much as others, they're always aiming for the middle of the spine rather than any other part of their model since thats the closest representation of a survivor's collision. People have posted videos of literally walking through survivors while charging the power due to even how much the standing injured animation is not properly aligned.
If you notice, it seems that you miss mostly when the survivor is on your left side, almost as tho when they made the grab hit box smaller instead of centering it back it aligned mostly to the right
-
Isn't OTR a better DS now distancewise?
-
If the killer doesn’t have stbfl then right after unhooking you can dead hard, boom solved, done it twice
-
Have been working in retail for 16 years now… Dbd is where I can smack random people with no downsides :)
-
I’ve noticed that his survivor hit box doesn’t seem to be centered, it’s more off to the right and most of my pass thru of survivors is when they are on my left
-
Something I’ve noticed is that when you go through a survivor, they are usually on the left side of you. Almost as if his survivor hit box isn’t centered. I dropped survivors 3 times in one match so far. Still love wesker tho, mostly the taunting he does
-
Only tunneled once so far with wesker, made it obvious I was going for the unhooker, but got bodyblocked in a doorframe counted to eleven and hit the unhooked, had bt. They even brought ds.
-
I don’t like being blinded by this perk, or that I have to kick the gen after, out of spite, and the survivor probably has a good lead on me. And I still don’t think this was needed
-
As a killer main, blast mine was never seen enough by me to change it. So weird
-
Wanna taunt survivors with mah voice lines with wesky
-
I remember the first time I saw a demo do that, I looked to the side and into an imaginary camera with a huh face
-
Waiting for something like bbq, except it would be like
Once you have hooked a survivor, the survivors aura with the least amount of hook states is revealed to you (within a certain radius), gain bonus bloodpoints each time you hook the revealed survivor, this is done consecutively or something like that

Thanks a lot, now I can say that Oppression is almost same as Ruin, but worse.
It works sometimes with dms tho
-
I was given the hatch the other day, never happens to me, and I’m sure I was annoying as hell to him. But I was also the one trying to save my team while doing gens, had a toolbox run out in the middle of a sabotage (confetti and everything).
-
i usually use that one on trapper

Dang is every killer running dead man's switch and pain res??
So much for meta change
Don’t anymore, don’t need the 30 seconds the first time them survs let go of the gen before hook

It's a tactic to get under your skin and get you to make mistakes. Oh wait the game is over when they do this.
It's just to troll you and taunt you. If you're not in the mood to go to gates, don't bother, get them open then go break stuff or tab out for 2 minutes.
It'd be nice with a notification from the game client when the survivors actually left. It's hard to know if they're staying for 1:59.99 or leave after 1 minute. You'd be surprised at how many will absolutely stay till the last microsecond to really try and rub it in.
A tip is to run Blood Warden every game and try to get the gates open as well as someone downed at the same time, then defend the slug. Or just run Blood Warden and keep gates open in endgame in general. Far more people just leave if they suspect Blood Warden. They're not exactly brave enough to stick around.
Did that once, there was about 30 seconds left in egc, when bloodwarden went off, so I just watched them all die teabagging at the exit before they realized it. (Last guy had deliverance and unhooked himself)
-
Had a match last night where all the survs were using it, never seen so many endurance hits
-
I forget wasn’t unhooking a conspicuous action?

Really? I find his anti-loop extremely boring to verse as the correct play 99% of the time is just "press the W key and go to another loop" and his power makes a lot of goofy locker perks very sad.
Use hangman’s trick, hook a survivor then leave the remnant behind a corner near the hook. You will be on the unhooker before they finish they’re scream.
