Yeah, i'm pretty sure, you now my personal experience better. I'm just stating my opinion based on my experience. My friends had the same experience.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3082452#Comment_3082452
Yeah, i saw the site. And i dont think it can track everything and everyone, so i dont think i can trust on that.
For example, i only used Dead Hard in tombs, wasnt playing much of meta perks at all and most of my games are 4k stomps for the killer. Right now, i only play solo q.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3082500#Comment_3082500
Solo q needs buffs. And now its more shown than ever,
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3082550#Comment_3082550
I mean, before the patch, every 5 game someone tunneled. Now its the other way around, only in every 5 game someone doesnt tunnel.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3082631#Comment_3082631
This! So much.
I still think base BT is not a buff at all, its way to short for that. Also killers can easy count to 5.
BT was strong before, cause a killer couldnt know if you have it or not. Now they know you have it, easy countered.
I like the 1 in 5 now doesn’t tunnel, cause I’m that dredge or trapper that he might be talking about

Fact - it's really difficult to ban all perks across all types of players/killers AND in conjunction with all perks, addons, powers, etc. (not to mention future perks, addons, powers, etc.)
Thus, I believe BHVR needs to become open to banning combos. Like you can't pair thana with pentimento. If you try to put both in your loadout, it gives you an error.
Not the only solution to this problem, just using is an example. We all know there have been some almost game-breaking combos over the history of the game (remember undying 1.0 and ruin 2.0?).
They now have the ability to turn off maps. If they had the ability to "turn off" (aka ban) combos, they could not worry about balancing everything together and take short-term action.
I thought of something like this, like having perk points and every perk is worth a certain number, so you could have three strong perks or five weak ones or something like rhat
-
Slamming someone for taking lightborn instead of another slowdown perk…
-
I found if I slowly walk around a gen they get stuck and stare
-
I like the endgame ones, the one that blocks opening a gate, then Freddy’s that makes opening take longer, then the one that blocks exits if you hook a survivor after doors open
-
As a killer I don’t thinks it’s all that bad, had it activate long after the survivor was unhooked for about a minute. Once in two separate games. No where near the amount people were claiming ahead of the patch it would be
-
He’s my favorite right now, so yea

I’ve been maining Artist since I returned to DBD from my 2-month break and I really enjoy her. I used to play her a lot when she came out but then got bored of her after some time. I got back into her and I gotta say I really forgot how fun and rewarding she is. If you haven’t tried her I definitely recommend giving her a shot.
What perks do you like on her
-
artist works the best with dead mans switch
-
Act like a noob killer at first, like get a down, and look at the ground just away from the survivor, like you are attempting to pick them up but cant find him. Then when you do, walk up to the downed one and stop for a sec, looking down. then listen with headphones for footsteps.
-
No, it’s not considered an aura
-
Like demo with stbfl, it’s awesome. Tried it the first time last night. Usually play dredge or pinhead after that
-
Dunno what mine are, but it’s close to 99% killer to survivor
-
Well yes, but gens will be done at some point, I think the better would be, does brutal strength stack with fire up?
-
For me it’s all about how to play him, I love using make your choice, hooking a survivor then leaving a remnant out of sight just behind a wall. After the survivor unhooks and screams teleport back to the hook, only works once or twice tho usually.
Leaving a remnant needs to happen quickly and best done when there’s no los, like a wall, to be effective.

You can still hook trade, it's a bit more difficult to pull off successfully but it's doable.
We will be watching the feedback to all these changes very intently and things can be adjusted prior to the PTB going Live - so please test things and let us know.
Yea as a killer that was my first thought. If you can’t hook trade that would suck. However with the new dh, and bt base kit, hook trades might not be a thing if timed well (No more dh getting the unhooked downed again if the unhooker didn’t have bt and dh caused a hit)
-
My favorite thing as killer is it looks like I get blood points for a dh hit, as well as counting as a hit for challenges
-

With the changes, killers will become more weaker than they already are. All Slowdown-Perks are getting nerfed, while gens become more boring for the survivor-side. These 10secs mean nothing.
So its time to use STBFL and CAMP every hook u get.
This will be pure fun, long have we waited. Come to the hook, give me all my wonderful stacks and then its time to camp the hook + 1 on the ground.
Well... at least this will become the new Meta, I guarantee you. Is this an enjoyable Gameplay? Maybe not, but leaving and running around is not the way (as M1).
And finally: Corrupt and Ruin will PUNISH killers when they do their objective. Fun, right? You have to down and kill survs, but instead of gettint benefits for doing a good job, u get punishes. This is so hilarious, i cant even tell my frustration about this "reward system".
If they punish killers can we really call them perks anymore ;)
-
Saw this the other day
-
I have actually, also on ps4. I notice it when I attempt to slightly strafe when chasing. I literally have a noticeable slowdown, also thought it was my conyroller. Haven’t figured it out tho, sorry
-
I like most of the hexes, but rarely use them. Blindness was my favorite one to use. I’ll use them with trapper maybe.
mom one side, if a killer doesn’t tunnel ruin has the potential to be up for a while assuming it’s not cleansed. But at the same time, I’ll never use it (rarely did anyways) since it’s still a hex
-
It counts as a hit and doesn’t put you in the downed state, but like being hit while you have bt active, you still get the speed boost you get as if you just lost a health state
-
Wonder if after getting the endurance hit, that perk that lets you run faster for 2 extra seconds would also work, same with otr hit
-
Must be why most of these “nerfs” I don’t see as nerfs
-
Only thing I saw is that you gain 33% wiggle meter when killer drops from a great height while carrying
-
I’m sure being hit with deep wounds already activated won’t add another endurance hit. Plus if otr was cancelled by being healed a player could just heal tap you to deactivate it after being unhooked.
-
@TurboTOne said:
i think it just shouldnt stack at all.
You use off the record ? Nice. Now the next Hit WILL down you, no matter if you use a Stiptic or Deadhard.
You're in deep Wounds ? The next Hit will down You.
I like how you’re profile is legion with that comment. Not a dis btw, I just like it
-
I don’t see it being a problem, think of dredge. He places a remnant then runs at you. You then have to make a call if he is going to tp to it or stop using it for a hit on either side of a pallet. Dead hard will still gain distance when used correctly and it should. But when missed or baited it’s a huge detriment
-
Only thing that ever bothered me about ds in any state was when I fell for it. I’m chasing someone and the ds user jumps in a locker. And my moronic self goes “hah stupid! I saw that!” Boom ds, almost fell for it every time. Saw it last night and just aimed deathslings rifle at the locker until time ran out.
I see what everyone’s saying about Otr, but as I rarely chase someone who is just unhooked this won’t affect me at all, well mostly, only if they use it to bodyblock during endgame. But meh, if it gets that far, sometimes I have it coming
-
I like the 5 second bt. Yes I main killer, and I can see how that might not be enough, but it won’t affect me, I love my unhookers, just like the 80 second endurance doesn’t bother me at all either.
I don’t chase the unhooked, only sometimes randomly run into them, and that’s up to 80 seconds that they aren’t doing objectives.
Some matches I’ve been in as survivor I’ve seen where this is needed by some killers now. So I like it
-
Im thinking lethal pursuer, myc, and the scourge hook that shows the aura of survs after unhooking
-
I assume the 5 seconds is so the killer doesn’t immediately down the unhooked before they have a time to react
-
Was spirit for a while, till the nerf, tried strider once and with my headphones it would actually throw me off on how close they were with the better sound. Then ran around as deathslinger, then they nerfed him. I get the aiming speed decrease but hated the terror radius nerf. So dredge is my favorite now. Love being in the locker that they try to lock
-
That could have been me on dredge, I tested coup de grace on him ;)

yeah, you have to be lined up exactly right and in the line of sight of the killer to be able to hide behind a generator so it’s basically useless way to hide. If the aura reading was removed, for fewer killers would run the perk, likewise if the double bp was removed many killers would still run it so it’s obvious the aura reading is important. We all know why you run bbq- it’s for aura reading and the double bp is the cherry on top. Stop saying otherwise, we don’t buy it.
Who is we? I would only run perks if there were 4 like bbq for the bp. Of course aura reading isn’t that bad, but survivors have to be near gens at some point to escape

Yes. I think its design is really great. I've been playing dredge non-stop, it's just such a fun power to use.
I would make some minor miscellaneous changes though :
- Add locker priority logic information to the game. "If the Dredge teleports to a cluster of lockers, it will always teleport to the locked locker. If a survivor is hiding in one of the lockers, it will instead always teleport to that locker"
- Add killer instinct information to the game "When the Dredge teleports in nightfall, it will activate killer instinct 16 meters around the remnant for 3 seconds. It will also activate when the dredge is hiding a locker and will linger for 3 seconds after exiting."
I would not make any other changes right now.
Your first change is already how his power works on lockers

Whether the chicken or the egg came first, remind oneself that the question is completely useless, that everyone sucks and just play how you want to play so we can all stop goddamn complaining already.
I heard you’re entire post in bills voice just now
-
Honestly if bt was made basekit I wouldn’t mind it. I main killer, only change I’d make is that it wouldn’t activate if the survivor was hit in the front by charging the killer to waste time
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Also if people had to bet on it, what do you think will happen to NOED?
Oooh pick me! Noed loses hex status but only activates on survivors that are not on last hook status. I.e. your exposed unless you’re next hook would kill you.

Nah mate you gotta look for a more fitting killer
Swimsuit clown and bubba lol
Speedo Meyers and demo?

Actually, all this swimsuits and pyjamas and "cute" animal-suits kinda kill the moot for myself. I know that the game isn't "scary" anymore, as everyone playing it for more then 30h became jaded to that and no one respects killers anymore, but still keep at least a modicum of a gloomy atmosphere :V
Yes! Claudette in a onesie pajama!
-
Like Arthur from evil dead?
-
I saw that skin on jake last night, didn’t know what it was
-
Got 63 cakes with 400k bp
-
Sometimes it’s all about when you play and who. At night my killer games are slightly chiller. And daytime my killer games require more sweat because the queue is longer so mmr is somewhat thrown out the window. Opposite is said for my survivor games.
-
As a killer main, I purposefully don’t tunnel, i want the unhooker for my bbq stacks. Especially now with the cakes (flan). Played 6 survivor games today and killers were only going after the unhooked (no one runs bt anymore?). Which is also funny cause when I’m killer my accidental hits on the unhooked sometimes always trigger bt.
-
Im definitely a killer main at night (only play during the day when my son plays with me). I remember the first time I got called a tunneled (I play on ps4, so it was a message from a player) and I had to look up what it meant. I don’t tunnel people on purpose, I want my bbq stacks. But if I happen to run into you because your unhooker didn’t get my attention and I happen to find you again, I will hit you
-
Usually playing killer, I expect bt, ds, and dh in every game. Borrowed time is easy to avoid as I will always go for the unhook. Only thing I don’t like about dh is when it’s used to get to a pallet, otherwise always take an extra step to take it out. Ds is situational and only really annoying at endgame near the exit.
