I remember my first experience with bbq as a survivor, I was hiding and clown ran opposite of the map straight to me and I was like #########? But I read his perks at the end, didn’t even know that existed until then
-
I’d say the more survivors escape the better the blood point gain, since it seems survivors get less than killers on average.
-
Bye bye lil sabastion
-
Curious as I keep forgetting to check, with the locker perk, when dredges teleport is ready you can just walk up to and jump in a locker to start his teleport. Does just getting into the locker also trigger darkness revealed?

So a semi-nerf to these perks that aren't meta to begin with?
I mean the concept is creative but the excecution would be so poor.
I don't think survivors would risk the slight buffs for a chance for it to backfire.
Also did you mean "Deception" for Misdirection?
Well yes, but they would also be totally optional. And no where near what I was proposing, my examples were just to show what I was attempting to explain
-
When you first place the remnant face the direction you plan on coming out of it in. I’ve noticed that L and T tiles are great for it. Also helps if you place it out of immediate sight of it so the survivor doesn’t know it’s there. (Like near walls)
-
I’m still waiting for emotes on killers, always wanted to cut someone off at a doorway with spirit, become visible, then have her scream at them
-
Only thing I wasn’t a fan of is once they are locked they can’t be opened by a survivor, I don’t think, and I like the misdirection perk
-
Lurkey the turkey, or the lockhopper
-
Been using noed more because I have zero of my favorite perks on dredge so far
-
I’ve played a few matches against him now. And not once have I seen him use the remnant. I use it all the time (trick is to use it behind walls so survivors done see it being used and you get to jump scare/hit them sometimes). And since I use it a lot I thought that was odd
-
He means it’s against forum rules to post the names
-
As one of you’re biggest flans, I hope next year we get pie.
-
If you use chatterers tooth, you can learn where the cube spawns for you after a few games. I can almost always run to it at the beginning of the match now. Picked it up this morning right off the bat and had 2 survs dc XD
-
If I find the cube first, usually have 1-2 dc's
-
I mostly play killer, played quite a few matches yesterday, people were jumping in snowmen left and right, only twice did it actually benefit them. Don't want to come off as rude, but we know about the snowmen going into every trial, so either we do something new to counter it, or we don't. I would hate much more if the event had different random things we COULDN'T account for, that's for sure.
-
From what I've been hearing, you need to be hit by M1, not a special attack, haven't tested it myself tho
-
Love pinhead, ir you use chatterers tooth a few games you learn the spawn pattern of the box, can almost find it in 20-30 seconds at the beginning
-
Currently main pinhead.
-
Honestly, I loved his terror radius, was My favorite part

Yeah corrupt isn't 100% effective all the time, but having it is still better than what can happen without it though, it helps with most of my games anyway.
I agree, I almost always use that instead of any other slowdown perk

The irony is Shroud of Binding, which starts all the survivors together, only appears on survivor bloodwebs, and the Shroud of Separation, which starts them all far apart, is a killer offering. Those two really ought to be swapped.
Let's not give that one to the survivors to control please, there's 4 of them ;)
-
Went from deathslinger to pinhead...
-
I used chatterers tooth for a few games to see where spawn points for the box are from the start, and when it spawns again, first three games after that I found the box within 30 seconds of starting the match, and those games went really well for me.
-
Use the chatterers tooth a few games and you'll see where the cube spawns in relation to where you are at the time, then you can almost always get it right after spawn
-
I wanna say the better comment I saw from this is the teabagging at the gates as a comparison. Cause when the gates do open, this almost always happens. As killer, I'll break doors or pallets and just wait till they leave. Can't force them to do that either :)
-
I love seeing multiple flashlights, go for a fake pickup, and listen for a quick running survivor and smack em, works almost everytime
-
First three games as artist, had 2 people run up to me to get downed, and 2 dcs after that
-
Used to main spirit, then deathslinger, now I'm on pinhead..
-
So I was playing resident evil resistance {the multiplayer one} and when I hit a certain level I could choose maps, then change the spawn points of zombies/traps and save them. That way anytime a certain map was loaded, it would already have my spawn points saved on that map :)
-
My first thought here was iron maiden
-
So I wonder if the traps resetting after triggered are from stepping in them, r setting them off manually. Cause trapping the exit gate would be broken.
-
Trapper has always been my favorite. So I'm kinda excited, sometimes no one steps in my traps, sometimes I get three people in egc because of them.
-
Couldn't say exactly why, but I've never played oni more that 3 times or so, just wasn't interested
-
My hope would be that if a hex totem was cleansed, and then there's a boon totem I place, maybe the killer stomping it out would replace it with one of his cleansed hexes, thus reactivating it :O
-
Pretty sure the last time I saw spirit was when I played her 2 MO this ago

Boon: Gluttonous Conviction
- When this blessing is active any attack that would normally put you in the dying state, from the healthy state, will instead put you in the deep wounds state.
- When the associated totem is destroyed you suffer from the mangled status effect for the remainder of the trial.
I would assume also, that if hit when in deep wounds state would be put in the dying state.
-
I like the insidious perk on her, when I phase I stop until it activates then unphase with no TR, wonder if insidious will silence the phasing sound

the ######### does the gate have to do with solving the box
The OP mentioned that his chains were good for interrupting things? And this is something it doesn't interrupt.
-
Funny thing about insidious, when It activates you can phase, move, then stop during phase for a few seconds and insidious will activate before coming out of phasing. Granted you can't get super far, but if they think you faked them out, only moving a bit out of view, they believe you left them altogether, since you TR is gone when you unphase.
-
His chain doesn't interrupt survivors opening the gates
-
I feel that the chain hunt being deactivated when the cube is picked up is the worst mechanic. After about 10 to 20 seconds of the hunt it gets picked up again. Been playing him a week now, definitely the part I hate the most, also his chains don't interrupt, so they usually power thru them when opening the gate.
-
Both, survivor during the day, and killer at night. Cause, queue times.

They could remove it for the others. Nemesis says, "Stars" during his Mori, but only if he's killing Jill or Chris, so theyve already done context sensitive lines.
Nemmy also said stars when I pulled a Leon from a locker
-
Without changing any of the mechanics, I would just slowly take away BP from the points gained from hooking, the longer the face camp, the bigger the point loss.
I get that it's a strategy, but it shouldn't be encouraged, although I wouldn't take away the points if the face camping was after the gens are done.
No risk, no reward
-
Wait, isn't that Dwight?
-
I tested this this morning with kyf, (have 2 ps4s, one for me and one for my kid) I actually found that standing still Pinhead's basic attack won't hit unless you are right on top of the survivor, like seriously, RIGHT on top. I mostly play killer and it's super noticeable, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it
-
I use BBQ specifically for the blood points. If there was a different perk that just gave the blood points, I'd be using that instead. I don't believe I play all that sweaty (killer main I guess you could say). I use corrupt intervention as my only slowdown, and usually don't bother even kicking gens anymore.
Used to use NOED a lot, but even stopped doing that. (I'm glad NOED isn't the perk that has a blood point gain). I don't notice my games changing much since mmr has been on.
Funny side note, if there's a lot of cakes, or party streamers, I'm all for hanging out maxing everyone's BP, cause that's what those are for.

They went from Nemmy’s near useless iridescent addons to Cenobite having really good ones.
When nemmy came out I was going to just play as him for a long time, loved the idea of the zombies, we all know how they love them trees, now I just hit them out of spite
-
I just used this for two games, had no idea it was so hated. But seeing the comments, I guess it makes sense
