  • I only do it sometimes if survivor/s try to mock me with teabags and clicking the whole game.

If they enjoy mocking others they can surely enjoy this experience as well.

Not saying you were toxic of course, I get bm'ed by killers when I didn't bm them. It happens from both sides.

Still, I wouldn't be against bleed out button. But only if one survivor is left or the whole team is slugged. And time for unbreakables or whatever passed.

yea i understand that, but sometimes i loop a killer for lets say 4 min and they say that its toxic to stun and just play... i mean what do they want me to do. Its like they expect me to do 3 pallet stuns and just let them down me. Thats the only time i get really pissed off when im playing good and getting punished for it. But hey atleast i can enjoy the endgame chats when they say "Ur so #########", "EZ", "Noob", "Uninstall dbd"

and yes only when you are the LAST survivor left and downed

  • Yes you should be able to hold a button to accelerate bleeding out. From like 4 minutes to 2.

I've literally seen a killer do this twice in my entire experience.

Once was a survivor abusing the pseudo-infinite on Haddonfield to loop a killer for ages with no way to catch up.

Once was a clicky clicky teabag teabag type.

It's no different than survivors sitting in the exit gates teabagging, and a lot less common.

If you loop them all game then go down at endgame, you weren't good enough and you get what they give you. Don't like it? leave game.

    Why so hostile man?

If all resources are gone and teammates took their time to do gens it is not possible to loop forever depending on a map even if you are a god. You are being illogical.

By your logic unviable m1 killers just need to git gud against swf and 4k on haddonfield. If they can't it is on them.

"You get what they give you?" Bullshit. You get downed and sacrificed, yeah. But people don't deserve to get BMed in an explicitly time-wasting way for just playing the game.

4-minute bleedouts is the equivalent of survivors wasting the whole EGC to tbag at the gates, except the survivor doesn't have the option of chasing everyone out to speed up the process. The only purpose it serves is BMing.

I said nothing about M1 Killers and my that logic does not in any way follow. There is a difference between a thing you believe you're skilled enough to do but aren't and just plain impossible things due to balance. Remember - Killers are racing against the clock with 4 opponents and 16 perks to outthink them. If their kits aren't good enough and Killer perks in general aren't strong enough or they make a mistake or a map layout is bad or the survivors are an SWF on voice with coordinated obnoxious strats who call out your every move...that makes it far less likely you'll win. That's not fair or balanced; it's very unbalanced in the survivors' favor. Just an example.

Then you are biased and make no sense.

So what was op supposed to do? Killer was chasing him for a while and resources were most likely depleted by the end.

If the killer sees you (which happens to even blendettes) they start chasing you, losing them is not always an option nor possible. It depends on a lot of factors. Also ever played solo q?

While it can be a breeze with decent teammates, if they aren't that good there is not much you can do to win sometimes even if you just play selfishly.

*Survivors get bmed by being bled out for 4 mins*

But boo hoo, killer hard. Do you guys ever stop complaining? Even in a thread about survivors being bmed and having their time wasted for no reason whatsoever besides to be annoying you're complaining about killer being hard.

You said they weren't good enough and that was the reason they died. Which isn't neccessarily the case in dbd since the game is very unbalanced and rng is a thing.

    That was my point.

The RNG is almost never against Survivors. Five years of playing this game has convinced me of that. I have played tons of games with loops that were nigh-unwinnable for a skilled M1 Killer without Bamboozle, for example. Something a Killer has no control over unless they always run that one specific perk. Survivors are never forced into a no-win like that; if they are screwed it's because of their decisions.

It is when rng gives you questionable teammates. Sbmm is not perfect either. Survivor is a team game and one weak link can sometimes turn the game around. Bad decisions from other survivors can affect you too.

Also like I said without pallets you can't work with certain tiles that much anymore. If you run the killer for a while it is inevitable you will go down eventually. And if your teammates weren't efficient on gens looping for two years wouldn't help you anyway.

Solo survivor is not always that easy as you might think. Dunno how much you played that role in your 5 years but if you did you would know that I think.

Not every loss is on you just like with killer. There are a lot of situations in dbd you can't really do anything about as a solo q survivor just like when you play killer. I am usually lucky with my surv games since the sbmm and satisfied with my teammates but it still changes from time to time.

You are being to harsh to the person who didn't bm the killer, played fairly and still left to bleed out for 4 mins at the end. This is not a vs thing. Both sides can suffer.

  • Problem is that it's a pretty hard fix. Slugging is needed for pressure sometimes.

Making the bleed out timer faster (even if optional) is just going to be used by salty people to get out of a match like hook suicedes work. And it still wastes your time. The difference between 2 minutes and 4 isn't that much. It's still going to be and feel like bm.

Killing all survivors when there is no way to get back up could deny some unbreakable plays and i don't think they'll be able to program it so it looks for those perks. The killer will know you have a way of picking yourself up if the game doesn't end.

It's a pretty tricky thing to fix and it doesn't happen often enough to be high on the priority list i imagine

  • I wanna say the better comment I saw from this is the teabagging at the gates as a comparison. Cause when the gates do open, this almost always happens. As killer, I'll break doors or pallets and just wait till they leave. Can't force them to do that either :)

  • It happened to me as well. By a nurse, because I was the only one that could outplay her. I wasn't even toxic. She was the toxic one.

  • I always try to hook everyone but sometimes some survivors you can't. I had a bully squad in an earlier match, they all ended up downed in the furthest place from hooks. I literally couldn't carry them to the hooks, I tried twice, so in the end they just had to bleed out. Also I sometimes lose track of one or two if they crawl away and end up bleeding out in a corner.

It seems simple enough to fix for me. Survivors can't voluntarily bleed out when the following conditions are true.

-Any survivor still present in the game is outside of the downed/hooked state

-Any hooked survivor is in the first phase and can attempt to escape

-Any survivor still has an active and unused Unbreakable, Soul Guard, No Mither, or Decisive Strike.

-Voluntary bleed-outs count as a kill for the killer for the purpose of emblems, challenges, and score events.

If the whole team is downed with no hope of getting back up, or you're the last player left, you can suicide out of the game. If there's still a chance the match can continue, the game won't let you do that.

I debated adding Power Struggle to the conditions, but that's useless if the killer never picks you up and would prevent the team from being able to exit if one player had it. Same with Deliverance; I decided it was covered enough by the net of a player being in the first hook phase. DS times out. And if people are too far from a hook and can wiggle off if picked up, that's probably why they're being bled out, and they have the option to simply stop wasting the killer's time by crawling closer to a hook.

So how much killer time have you wasted sitting in the gate area during EGC? As a killer main I have probably lost hours of my life waiting for survivors to leave during EGC. WeLl JUsT ChAse ThEm Out! Well there are two gates and they can be really far apart and then you get to enjoy another round of teabagging. If you are a survivor just leave, you won, congrats. let's all move on. Nope, survivors feel the need to stand at the exit gate, teabag and wait until the last possible second to leave. Standing in the EGC exit area happens EVERY GAME that I don't 4K. Even if it is a 3k and the last survivor is on death hook they will stand around and teabag, at least in this scenario I can chase them out. I have probably let people bleed out a handful of times if they had very BM like tea bagging after every thrown pallet, clicking constantly, spamming over pallets, etc.

  • What is really annoying is slugging someone and having them DC because they think you are just going to let them bleed out, but in reality you can't find them. I might have given them the chance to wriggle free.

  • I only let them bleed out for 4 minutes if they purposely run to a hook dead zone and try to wiggle when I pick them up. I'll gladly waste their time if they're gonna waste mine.

  • I've had people do it from the beginning of the match, so I am not surprised they still do it at the end of the match.

I understand some survivors can be awful and want to BM , but some killers are really dying to stoop to that same level. No amount of BM is going to make me give it back to you in the form of a bleed out. I would rather hook you and still win. I just don't have that kind of time.
