Let's hope it runs better than the Xbox/PS4 version.

A while ago, I saw a Werewolf killer, Slenderman, a shark one, and a little girl one that was released with a mother looking for her lost child. Great suggestions! :D
While a werewolf killer would be dope, the whole creepypasta killer concept is cringy.
-
Probably a split of some percentage or another. I'd advertise against buying the Pig cosmetics due to the price inflation.
-
They designed Legion to be a fun killer for either side in a trial. It backfired because Legion was so poorly designed, riddled with handicaps and restrictions, that even minor things ended up with him being absolutely broken. Moonwalking being an example.
Now he's Fun™.

@KillermainBTWm8 Ehhhhh... I see your point there...
But I like being toxic to survivors who were toxic to me.
Or at the very least giving a warning to toxic survivors by pressing the mori button once and hooking them.
Being toxic to toxic people is what created the downward spiral that turned the DbD community into such a cesspool to begin with.
-
Spirit. Top tier killer that's a lot of fun.
Clown and Legion are both low tier garbage, sadly.
-
It shouldn't be possible, nonetheless. A buttonpress and bam, mori starts.
@Peanits, is there a reason why mori-spamming is even possible still?
-
At first I thought you meant that Mori's shouldn't have a bar you need to fill completely in order to use it which would have been something I'd totally agree with.
Mori-spamming is toxic as ######### and should just go and ######### itself into oblivion.
-
Never gonna happen.
-
Why would you want to know if a survivor is looking at you? That's like, not relevant information. At least not without an actual indicator of where-from they're watching.
I'll stick to Whispers. It can tell me plenty more, like the location of a survivor and which areas I don't have to check out.
-
The only buff the perk needs, if any, is that the stun happen instantly which makes it impossible for the killer to grab you mid-animation. That's kinda it.
-
Why?
-
You could;
- Walk in one direction, count to five and go in another direction.
- Hide in a locker.
- Obscure your aura by taking cover behind an unfinished generator.
- Get close enough to the hook to not be revealed.
- Run Distortion to block BBQ's aura reading three times every game.
- Not bother at all since only 2-3 killers can actually make use of the aura reading.
-
Just let him reset the traps himself without having to pick them up first and his power level will increase dramatically as he'll be saving so much time.
-
That'd turn the perk into a camper's favorite. Whisper should affect all alive survivors, hooked, dying or healthy.
-
If you're playing killer and hook a survivor, instantly give them a whack to stop the screaming.
-
Its not impossible, no. It just relies on your ability to generate pressure versus the survivors' will to win. Certain killers perform better, of course.
-
Meh, its probably just going to be another killer with a heavily handicapped and restrictive power.
-
If Trapper's gonna get anything, it should be the power to reset his traps without having to pick them up first because THAT ONE THING ALONE wastes so much of his time.
-
It would and it wouldn't. It'd basically be S tier power in certain areas, where the killer could just leap over obstacles in a loop to just bypass any and all defenses a survivor have, but it'd also be pretty garbage in areas that's indoors.
-
Or just spend a minute extra in-game before the generators are fixed to hunt for some dull totems. Seriously, why are people making out NOED to be such a huge deal?
-
I am not gonna ask the developers of the spaghetti mess of coding that's Dead by Daylight to try and disable a feature for a specific map. Its like inviting chaos over for dinner, only for them to spill their food plate over you.
Rather, keep Bloodlust enabled until all other maps have been fixed.. then you can remove that damnable band-aid solution.
-
Nah. You're better of trying to ask for a refund instead.
-
How many exhaustion add-ons are there out there..? Clown has one.. Huntress has one.. eeerrrr..
-
You've nothing to fear. I am sure they'll do their best to make her Fun™.
In all honesty though, I hope they only touch her add-ons because those suckers need a remake.
-
Actually a very fitting killer since he kinda vanished out of thin air, didn't he?

There is literally an add-on for that! Do you people even play him? Lol.
It resets them without any interaction from the Trapper, yeah. I mean that the Trapper himself can reset traps without picking them up first via manual interaction. That's the buff I propose.
Don't a douche-nugget, dude.
-
Its a perk that can be disabled before it can even be activated, it just requires survivors to not focus generators for a minute or two. It doesn't need a nerf or a change.
-
Let the Trapper RESET traps without having to pick them up first.
This one change would save Trapper players so much time and sanity.
-
Or you could make WGLF easier to stack by letting you get a token for healing a health state on another survivor, on top of everything else. Survivor perks shouldn't be on par with Killer perks.

Gen times really need to increase. Maybe more for swf or high ranks?
That's literally the worst way to fix things. Do you think holding M1 for 80 seconds is fun? Because holding it for 100 or 120 seconds sure isn't.
There needs to be a secondary objective somewhere that motivate survivors to do something else than pushing generators.
On topic, most reason for the gen-rush is due to how many killers lack any for of map pressure and cannot stop survivors from doing generators. Bad habits like tunnel visioning a survivor for all five generators and lose a game because of that doesn't help but in general.. if the survivors wanna win they gonna win.
-
It sounds like compensation left-overs. People used to lose progress a lot back in the day and they got a shitload of BP as compensation, depending on how long they'd played.
-
Reworking the maps to not be as big as they currently are AND improving struggling killers' power with QoL stuff would go a long way.
-
I thought you were gonna mention hammering spacebar to struggle..
-
Mask-Less cosmetics for some killers, although I'd probably require an update to killer facial textures and perhaps rigging to compensate. But like, it'd be dope.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF
You killed him bro.
Not really. I asked if they're planing on doing something with struggle mechanic (which was a "no for now") and if they plan on adding lootboxes too, which was a sort of "no to maybe" answer.
Both were questions we basically already knew the answers too. I was hoping for something more.. concrete in terms of answers.

@LCGaster said:
The problem with their Q&As in general is that they often aren't allowed to give a lot of info
They should wait until they have a lot of info and are allowed to share it, then open a Q&A that way they could actually answer the questions instead of giving vague, prewritten answers
Heh, too late for that now.
-
Because this is a forum and that was my honest opinion.
-
I honestly don't care at this point.

@SenzuDuck - I expected to come away from it with some information that we didn't already know.
Even if it was corporately controlled, they could have at least have prepared some exclusive information specially for the AMA, as a lot of the questions were those that people have been wanting answers to for a long time.
The answer to the second question in the AMA summary tells you all you need to know about how the rest of the AMA went, "Can we have another bloodpoint event?", "Yes, there will be more of these in the future."
They'd not have lost anything by not having a Q&A to begin with. It was no satisfaction to be had because, like you said, we learned literally nothing new.
-
Here's the reason why the developers will never balance for higher ranks. There's simply no reason to it when a HUGE majority of all their players are between 11-20.
-
@Seanzu said:
What did you exactly want them to answer?
More than they did?
-
@SpacingLlamas said:
All their Q/A have been this way for months. Honestly don't see the point for them now.
I've stopped watching/reading them. If anything important is said someone will make a post about it.
Sometimes I'd just like to feel.. hopeful, you know? Like things can change.

Who needs food? When you can have sleep. And somma those skins!
Between digital eye-candy or food in my stomach, I'll go for the food every time. Its just waaaaay too expensive.
-
The only go for questions that's easily answered and require no effort from their side.
Just check the ongoing QnA on Reddit. Most answers to most questions are in the "we have no plans but we'd like to see it implemented" style.
-
He's already a better Clown at this point, I don't see why the snares need a buff.

Cherry picking questions then answering those questions with non answers*
It is easiest that way. I mean, check through their list of answers and you'll see its mostly "no plans but we'd like it" answers.. Basically just copy/pasting at this point.
-
They cost too much for me. The Trapper skin is dope but like.. that price.. I could have food for a few days for that price.
-
Implying they're focusing effort on their game in any other way than pumping out cosmetics and DLCs.
@NuclearBurrito said:
Yeah. We clearly need a 2v10 gamemode instead.
↑This.

Shame that most responses from the developers so far are generic corporate "responses" straight out of a rulebook or something.
