But if someone should be banned for something, it needs to be reported. Sitting around saying doing anything qould be a waste of time, and not trying just results in him getting off scott free

well i have put a ticket in, tho im not sure what will be done about it

If you reported him and sent a ticket in and they actually were lag switching they'll get banned no if's and's or buts about it. Once they receive your ticket your part of the equation is done since due to privacy reasons they can't say x person has been banned.

Marth was the best example that you shouldnt bring the unbalance of DBD to public because the devs dont give a damn and the only result is survivors abusing the broken design.

And yes, asylum SWF results in a lot of camping for me

(btw it even is more broken with balanced landing)

Yes the devs don't care about anything which is funny considering all the changes that've benefited killers these last 9 months. Also as @Mister_xD said you can take a shortcut on the one and Bamboozle or just cut them off on the other.

See my petition on the Steam forums which has over 4000 comments, or here on the official forums which strangely stopped showing up on the front page about 3 days after I posted it despite replies, and still will not show up on the front page.

This issue has been beaten into the ground, and honestly nothing short of simply splitting the queues into solo-only players and SWF-only players is going to fix it. I have a pretty good idea that could still allow it to be used in some kind of competitive Ranked mode, but the devs, both Dave and not_Queen have made it quite clear to me that they have no intention in doing jack ######### about SWF.

They tend to hide every uncomfortable thread, don't worry, you are not alone.

Yes because 4k comments on a thread you like is a really good representation of the communities desires let alone actual good ideas.

Now speaking of good ideas do you honestly believe removing swf from the game is a good idea because if you do I've got some beachfront property on the moon to sell you.

Also if you split the queues up you still destroy the game because most of the playerbase is swf so all you complaining killers won't have a lobby.

The issue isn't that they won't do jack ######### as you say but that they won't do stupid things they know won't work. In business you don't destroy your business just to please a vocal minority that has only their own self interest in mind.

Yeah I've faced very few really good Tapps but the ones at rank 1 that know how to play properly are super difficult to find. Claudettes actually aren't that hard to find once you know where to look and the same for Adam's who have larger models.

If all the people complaining about Claudette's would play them against good killers they'd stop saying they're so hard to find. Since the update where maps are brighter it's even harder to be super sneaky except for Red Forest which is still great for it.

They've been getting banned on Pc for quite some time already and consoles have had to wait on Sony/Microsoft to sing the agreements with Sony being the usual pain about it.

Dont fool yourself, just an hour ago I had a game where all survivors ragequit and they were like "what do you expect, we always do this when a killer tries to win"

Real punishment is punishment you can actually feel, i.e. you get a queue timer which increases the more you DC and eventually if you DC like crazy, then you will get banned too

You should take your own advice because people that don't want to get punished will say that so that you won't report them. In this case since dc's are automatically checked I highly doubt they do it that often since otherwise they'd be banned already.

I can remember all the people on League that used to say the exact same thing then I'd see them later on the forums complaining about said bans.

The people you had probably just said that to piss you ff knowing if they actually did it all the time they'd get banned. It'd be even funnier if they came on the forums after getting banned saying they didn't deserve it, but most likely they'd post on Reddit or Steam.

OP has only posted survivor buffs into his post so yeah he is biased otherwise he would take time to write about other issues as well but he did not care about other ones since they don't concern him.

Ok so they only posted survivor ideas, that doesn't make them survivor biased since as has been pointed they've also posted mainly killer buffs. Besides sometimes it's better and easier to focus on one side of an equation so as not to lose your train of thought.

Also giving survivors aura perks for free wouldn't put them on same level as SWF since main reason why SWF is so powerfull isn't the information it gives but that it allows 4 great survivors to play together and have strategy with communication as bonus to all this. Giving aura perks to survivors would only ruin immersion of the game which is one part of survivor gameplay that I enoy so I'm against it.

It's more along the lines of giving them information since that's what is important and what makes swf stronger. If the solo player is on the same level as swf information wise they'd know when someone is going for a save, when someone isn't. Who's working on what gens etc since that's where they're at a huge disadvantage.

I play mostly solo survivor and giving me some info wouldn't ruin my immersion in the least since i'd still try and skulk around. I'd still be paying attention just as i always do for the heartbeat and my skill checks etc. I'm most definitely not going to start playing sloppy just because i've got a few extra tidbits of info.

Survivors actually aren't playing to win since larger part of my playtime is on killer so I'd known what builds they run and how they play. Many survivors are using builds that aren't 100% meta and are far more alturistic then they should be if winning is their goal. Main reason why killers experience ingame isn't horrific is because survivors most of all play for fun. If every single survivor decided that only winning is what they want they would dominate every game that doesn't have god nurse in it.

So because survivors aren't playing meta somehow equates to them not playing seriously to win how again? Did you ever consider that they want a challenge in order to win, they're going for that extra bit of difficulty like going perkless etc.

Also you don't need a God Nurse just to win against people playing to win, that's the biggest fallacy out there. I played Spirit at rank 1 and faced many a sweaty team and usually was still able to get 2-4k quite often. If you think you can't win unless you're playing a Nurse then you won't win even if the survivors make plenty of mistakes.

Having fun while winning isn't the same as going straight for the win only with nothing else in mind. You can play fun builds with which you can win but you could win more with more meta builds that are far more powefull. Meaning that survivors want fun which 5 min games can't give them since in such sort amount of time nobody has fun unless having fun is ruining killer's fun.

That's incorrect, you can have fun while also going for the straight up win and again this is a zero sum excuse made to back up an argument. I can go full meta builds and still have fun because I choose to have fun and not because it's a meta build.

I've faced really good killers some with 4k hours and those are games that can last quite long and both sides have FUN. It's not because meta builds were used but because both sides enjoyed the match that was challenging. Also just stop saying it's trying to ruin the killers fun since that's another zero sum excuse fallacy.

The victimhood mentality displayed is pretty bad since if the survivor have fun it's only fun if they're ruining the killers fun. To use your logic the killer is only doing quick games to ruin the survivors fun which is also a zero sum fallacy.

I have no idea where did you find that I want killers to remain weak. What I actually want is not to make all killer stronger but to make games longer which would actually make many killers stronger in the process. Many killers have optimal power level but games last far too short if survivors rush gens. So we need either to give survivors other objectives to work towards or give killers more tools to stall and protlong the game.

I was making a point that using your logic of not buffing solo up to swf level you're forcing killers to remain weak since killers can't be buffed that much. Since if killers were buffed that much you'd destroy solo players to where they'd get killed before the 1st gen was done.

The secondary objective is something they're working on which the test during Halloween proved could work provided it's done right. But again making the games longer via a another objective does help killers but again solos would suffer.

The 3 years part was exaggeration based on the amount of time fixing DBD takes since whenever devs do something right they get backlash from survivors even when changes weren't as drastical as what killer had to endure several times. (like when for some reason timing on pallets and flaslight was removed, great change indeed)

Well they just buy back the rights to the game and since then things have been improved dramatically and it's not just survivors that complain killers do as well. also using the complaints on the forums or the steam forums isn't a good way to judge balance since the extremes are more likely to post.

Most of the rest don't mind much and just roll with the changes and with the patch changes coming more frequently but in smaller sizes it'll be much easier to adjust as well.

Side question: Does anyone know what happens if I drop a survivor that has Adrenaline? Does it put them into the injured state from the dying state so I can smack them?

If I'm not wrong Adrenaline becomes wasted if it activates while being carried by a killer.

There was a bug a few months ago and it was quite funny actually where it'd launch the survivor off the killers shoulder as if they'd used a rocket launcher. It was basically a sprint burst flying in air and landing running and I'd gone to body block the killer and the survivor went flying past my head in air.

You complain about moris mate? [BAD WORD] off

Ok how do the survivors know the killer wants to farm?

How do survivors know the killer is trying a fun build?

Killer lets you have hatch then you complain about them complain about said killers wanting 4k, then completely ignore all of the said forum posts by killers complaining about not getting that 4k.

Well you complain about DS, medkits, insta heals (one time use only and then medkit is gone), AD, IW, SB, etc etc etc.

  • Both sides systems need a major upgrade although the present one was better than the one before and the next one should be an improvement as well. But looping the killer only doesn't help you pip up, you need to do some totems, open chests, do some gen progress, unhooks, heals etc.

"Can we remove one of the only two ways that make this killer barely viable at all? I don't care if that makes him absolutely worthless and weak, I just want easier games."

Removing the exploit won't make the killer weaker, it'll just punish exploiters and bad players. Also why is it anytime someone suggests something it's always viewed as making the killer weaker?

It doesn't matter if it makes them weaker or not it's just the mere suggestion of changing something causes the same it's a nerf posters to complain.

This is not an exploit, it's an intentional mechanic. What would be an exploit is walking backwards to cut the chase even though you're still chasing them, which is not what the OP is complaining about. Stopping the DW timer when mending would be a huge middle finger to legion and would mean that survivors can instantly start mending as soon as the chase music stops, and if they get chased again they can stop and start looping again. This would make it even more in favor of the survivor since it can make it so that either they mend or the DW timer stays in place. This would pretty much be a direct nerf to him.

Ok it seemed like that was part of what op wanted and yes I think it going down while not in a chase is fine, that way you don't simply run off to the nearest gen and start working on it. As for the mending mechanic I think once the timer starts ticking down it should slow down the more progress you make on it.

But if you stop mending it start speeding up at 2x the rate it slowed to prevent people from simply gaming it on either side. Since right now Legions are running M&A and just staying outside the terror radius so the moment you go to mend they run up. Then back off again so you're basically screwed which isn't what was intended.

  • @Kebek said:
Perfect example of survivor main who wants buff for free to his already more powerfull side. Survivors still rule the game with iron fist IF they are trying to win which most players don't since they either suck or want games longer then 5 min.

Your ideas are what would tottaly ruin any horror aspect or sence of tension that DBD has left so no I hope those never happen. Grind isn't hard to fix it's only matter of time that something will change as it always does.

Also you named quite a lot of things that need SIGNIFICANT changes so no the game has still long way to go to be balanced. On the positive side devs have been lately doing pretty good job with balancing so if they won't do something utterly stupid in following patches it might not take another 3 years to get the game balanced for both sides eaqully.

Perfect example of a killer main not thinking things through since if you buff solo survivors up the level of swf information wise. Now see how that sounds when your own insult gets used against you, it makes you look silly . If you buff solo up to swf levels you can now buff killers up to facing swf level since everyone will be on equal grounds.

Also who says people aren't trying to win just because they suck doesn't mean they're not trying or are you always playing to lose as well? Since if we go by your logic if you're new to a game or you just suck you're not trying to win.

It also doesn't matter if the player wants the match to go longer or not, if they're trying to win while having fun doing it they're still trying to win. Someone not trying to win would run up to the killer and sacrifice themselves, someone not trying to win would simply dc the moment the match started.

Also what you're saying is keep the status quo so that killers remain weak because gasp making them stronger would remove the horror aspect of the game. Do you see how illogical that sound now that' it's worded properly.

If a killer is a lot stronger to the point they can take on a swf group or solos buffed to that level then the game becomes much more scary. The grind will take time to fix properly but if you fix the killer power role issue the grind becomes easier to fix.

There's a lot that still needs to get done, map reworks, perk changes, less homogenization on both sides etc. Yes the improvements have been nice and they're actually going to do them more frequently in smaller increments which will speed things up and also avoid major bugs.

No it won't take the game 3 years to get it right and the Ad Hominem thrown in was beyond nonsensical and only serves to lower your posts quality.

  • It's actually not bad once you get used to it and recognize the usual places people will go and on Trapper and Hag those places are golden for setting traps.

You stalk one but if multiple are in the stalk cone you end up stalking multiple survivors not just one for faster Evil Within gain. You get more from the person you're stalking and less in general from others in that stalk cone.

  • DS doesn't ruin the game so seriously just stop with that nonsense, you were given ways to deal with it, strategies to sue and were told about standing in a corner before. This is nothing more than an entitled I want my 4k post again.

You didn't know where the hatch was well go look for it, you're a Spirit and you can cover a large area of the map. If it's close you'll know really quickly, if not you go back and eat the DS and down her quickly again and congrats you've got your 4k.

If it's close and she was toxic just let her bleed out and take your 3k knowing you frustrated them because you didn't take the bait.

  • Ok to everyone bashing the op while it's fun and it does get tiring of seeing these types of posts have you considered any of the following?

    1. They're new to the game.
    2. They don't know how to deal with it yet by gen rushing instead.
    3. They're possibly facing a deranked killer that wants EZ matches to stomp newbies knowing they don't know how to counter it.
    4. They have a low post count meaning they're new to the forum and thus new to the game. See above reasons.
5.By bashing them instead of simply explaining things to them you run the risk of turning them into the next Bar*on etc.
6.By bashing them you increase the chances they'll simply start being toxic to killers in game. Thus turning them into what some of you killers complain about survivors doing in game.

Now what I used to do ovr on the League forums along with some of my friends that responded to the same questions over and over was have a template of stuff. So if someone complains about camping you simply tell them that.

1.It's not against the rules and is a viable tactic
2.The devs tried something before and it got abused.
3.The counter is not to swarm the hook but to gen rush the killer.

The same is true for killer related complaints etc.

The end result are people are somewhat mollified and are given good information and don't turn into toxic jerks. = profit

It should be impossible to escape 3k hour guys who play this game as their living unless you are playing a SWF with 4 guys on the same level. Thats my opinion about this

3k hour people shouldn't be facing noobs just for easier games so they can brag about stomping said noobs. If you want to use that 3k hour example then they should only be playing against people with similar playtime.

Unfortunately the rank system has not been designed for that.

True but it's what we have to deal with for the moment until they come up with something better but here's what would need to happen to prevent that.

You'd have to match up those 4k hour players with players of the same general playtime although playtime doesn't always equal skill. Now if you lock people into say 500 hour or w/e hidden $ the devs would use you run into a huge problem of lobby times.

Because you might have a strata of 4k hour players that's limited to perhaps a few hundred as an example worldwide spread out. Those people are going to have really long lobby times similar to how League's high tiers have longer wait times due to the limited player pool.

Now if you add in actual skill together with time played you'd have a much wider pool of players that'd have more equal chances playing against each other. That's compared to now where say Marth runs into say a 200 hour player lobby and they get defenestrated.

Killers have different powers, some are better, others worse. Explain to me how, assuming all perks unlocked, picking any of the survivors has impact on your gameplay performance.

P3 Claudette says hi about impacting game performance.

  • @Raziel said:

    1. I highly doubt that you are older than me. Or better educated.
    2. My argument against the OP still stands. When the devs balance the game they DO factor in player skill and compensate lack thereof with mechanics. Example: It's the result of the killer's better skill when a survivor is caught, yet they can bridge this skill gap by using DS. Passing one skill check is not the equivalent of outsmarting your opponent and downing them.
    3. You have not really presented an equation.
    4. The fact that you are leaning on ad hominem in your reply makes me think you ran out of arguments.
    1. Born in 1965 just turned 53, I never said I was better educated.

    2. That's true but just because they use DS doesn't mean they magically get to walk out the exit gates and never get touched again does it. You can also just down them yet again a few meters away and not everyone is great at hitting the skillcheck.

Now you could argue that yes hitting that skillcheck after looping the killer because they were the bait is outsmarting the killer. If their plan was to waste the killers time as much as possible and then preferably get downed away from any valuable objectives then yes it was.

(I don't run DS myself and only equipped it for the Laurie adept and at rank 12 when 1st playing tried it 6x. I think it need a nerf but one that works for both sides. That way it doesn't become one of the useless perks but still is good for both sides.)

    1. Actually I did I showed several equations where any or all or any combination of those equations could influence the player ratios. In fact those are a common occurence most online games with DBD being a good example.

WoW has always had an issue with everyone want to play DPS and there not being enough tank and most of all healers. So they introduced the role to encourage people to play those and thus get into dungeons and raids quicker. Well people figured out they could go in with an off spec not suited for that role and bad gear and get into the dungeon quicker.

League did it but they learned to counter it by actually forcing you to choose that position and you could swap to another unless someone traded you. They also encouraged it by adding extra rewards for playing the least desirable spot the support.

What you want is for people to be forced into playing a role just so you can play your favorite role while not wanting to be forced to do the same. Since unless people are forced into playing your desired roles your 4:1 ratio isn't possible 100% of the time.

In fact people will simply do what they've done before not play until they're not forced into a role they don't want to play. You can encourage it by adding extra rewards but you can't force them into playing say killer or survivor if they don't want to.

    1. If you think I was using Ad Hominem then you're the one that has run out of arguments and good ones at that as evidenced by your replies above.

You maybe be right after all the are perks you can use to counder ( if you can use it you build ), but an eazy way to end this problem will be only killer have obsession perk, then make it so OOO work for all but with very lower range and DS can use if and only a killer have an obsession perk in he/she build.

Well you would have to do run those but you don't know if the persons running said perks like Bond, Plunderers Instinct and Ace In The Hole combo. Since if you knew what perks people are using that'd be broken since oh that person is a chest fiend gotta tunnel them.

Well that one is running the medic build they need to die 1st so tunnel them, that ones going a sabo build well I'll run Hangman's Trick and ignore them.

Which therein lies the problem with complaining about the meta since you know the perks most likely to be used. That means you can choose the best perk layout and addons with changes depending on what you see in lobby.

I think changing perhaps survivors perks to not have an increased chance of being the obsession is a good idea. That way it's only OoO for survivors and other than that only killers perks choose and if the persons running DS they get chosen if OoO isn't in play.

If multiple people are running it there should be some restrictions on it perhaps change it to be similar to Doctors screams where it shows the last known location. This way other users don't get a completely accurate location only a general 5-10 meter location while the Obsession does.

For DS I prefer just a flat stun time which if the killers running Enduring reduces it and the carry time gets reduced on struggle by say 3,4,5 seconds at each rank.

Edit: working on a better version of the wigle timer reduction atm that works for both sides.

  • @Raziel said:

You do realise that the 4:1 ratio must be maintained in real time, right? Have you had math in school yet?

You do realise you completely ignored all the reasons given because gasp it'd mean your argument has holes in it and thus it failed the math test.

Also yes I had math in school further back than when you were even alive but I also learned logic while doing said math and common sense. It works wonders when you use both to their fullest since in any equation you can't focus solely on the desired outcome.

As any good mathematician will tell you when doing an equation, you have to account for all variables, not just the ones that your personal confirmation bias likes.

The ONLY time that bans were actually done from what I've reported was back when the mods actually took reports. Now I don't see anyone who gets reported actually being banned. Funny how that works.

So because they didn't respond to you personally means they weren't important enough to do anything about? This is what's known as entitlement and the fact you feel entitled to a response says it all even after a mod told you why they don't respond toe very thread and comment.

How do you know that person didn't get banned, are you stalking them, are they on console and thus can't be banned unless Sony/Microsoft allow it until the ban system is in place? Also how do you know those people didn't get banned, if they're you're friends why are you not putting a stop to it?

If you're not putting a stop to it why are you either still playing with them or friends with them when you can put your foot down and show some leadership. If you're allowing it to continue then you're just as guilty as they are by enabling it to continue.

Just because you don't get a warm and fuzzy message saying x person has been banned doesn't mean they haven't been banned. That's like calling 911 for a drunk driver then saying the cops didn't do anything because you didn't see them do it.

Most people play both sides yet we get fast games at a 4:1 ratio of the playerbase. Hmm....
Yeah totally makes sense. I guess the game must be balanced too, since we all play both sides, right?

You do realize there's different time zones, time of day, work schedules, real life, family, vacations, being sick, school, playing different games etc.

I mean if we use common sense and logic we'd understand any or all of those or any combination of those things will affect lobby times.

    Duh

EVEN WORSE HORRIBLE LOGICAL FALLACY DETECTED.

I can't believe you did that 2x in a row and you just proved my points yet again about how biased you are. soi much so that you're going out of your way to post completely nonsensical stuff now in order to make yourself look good.

I like who you use so many IF he/she has this can be "counter". But yes if the killer has this perks can make them weaker not useless but just weaker, ( is not like the perk you just say counter have a wort weakness).
DC if the killer use slugged you sill have the perk and you can use it later. and yes they can mori you if they have one.
OOO can be mind game both way you know and normally a survivor can win it.

I like how I give you weaknesses and you resort to the same old excuse making every time you're given answers.

The smart killers know how to counter and use obsession perks against survivors, the bad killer simply make up more and more excuses. There isn't a perk in the game that makes another perk useless, they're all about making things better for you and weaker for the other side.

Also really bad logical fallacy usage there since you knew it was a failed argument before you even typed it but hoped it'd work.

Well gee you're on the ground dying and if in a solo game guess what it's worthless since you're teammates if they're not running bond or empathy won't come for you. Oh and Knockout says hi along with Myers Evil within I, and hex perks and oh you get the idea. You were given information and chose to completely ignore it because it just shows you're the issue not the perk.

So now you admit it can be mindgamed so now your story is changing and sure a can win it, it doesn't mean they will or that they normally do. If a survivor uses it better they outplayed that killer, and if a killer does it the same is true.

Bottom line STOP MAKING EXCUSES UP FOR EVERYTHING.

If you can't counter what the survivors do or adapt to it and play better then the common denominator in all your losses is YOU.

As some of the killer mains like to say when survivor mains make up as many excuses as you do al you have to do is.

See there's the answer to all your problems, do that and all your excuse making will magically vanish.

Trying to replay or even open up the overlay takes 20-30 seconds when any other game it works instantaneously.

Turn off the overlay, there's a known issue right now with using overlays to launch DBG and a few other games.

Also if you're on a laptop go into settings/games and disable battery boost if it's enabled since it causes lot of problems.

Anyway @DarkGGhost said you need them though, and I was saying you don't. So You and I agree. Sorry for any confusion. lol

Now irres and one thing I've found is to delete most of the quote except for the very specific things you want since otherwise it tags everyone. If 20 people are in the post as having commented and you're replying to just one it tags all 20.

Ok good point what is the weakness of the perks for the survivors?

    **> > All aura perks:

    1. The killer could be running knockout
    2. The killer could be running a hex perk.
    3. The killer could be mind gaming your aura perks.
    4. The killer could simply follow someone using say bond to other survivors.**

    .

Very nice but where are the Obsession perks you the reason of this post?

Would you look at that I gave 4 right there but so you want specific perks as well here.

DS: Which isn't a pure obsession perk, it just increases the chance that you'll be the obsession.
1.One time us and it's only going to be worth it if the killer actually chases you and downs you.
    2.You can be dribbled.
    3.You can be slugged.
4.They can be running Rancor and just mori you.
5.They can just mori you after you've been unhooked if you didn't use it before 1st hook.

Object of Obsession: The only true obsession perk.
1.The killer could be running knockout
2.The killer could be running a hex perk.
3.The smarter killers could be mind gaming your perk.
4.The killer could simply follow someone using it badly to other survivors, especially if the obsession is injured. Since they always want the killer to go after someone else.
5.The killer could be a Myers or a Freddy in which case you're screwed since you can't see Freddy's aura outside the dream world. You also can't see a Evil Within I Myers and if it's a Scratched Mirror MYers well sucks to be you.
6.Then there's these little gems called Tinkerer, M&A, and Granma's Heart.

Sole Survivor: Also not a pure Obsession perk.
1.Only works if you're not on the hook or dead.
2.Only works if others are actually dying.
3.Only works if the killer isn't smart and doesn't realize you're running said perk.
4.Only works within that radius because if you're outside that radius of the killer you can be seen so if outside BBQ radius you're getting seen. If you pop a gen while the killers outside that radius you're being seen.

Now imagine that I gave lots of weaknesses for the perks and survivors only have 1 true obsession perk and 2 that increase the chances of you becoming the obsession.

So your stocking stuffer has been a note that you've just run out of excuses to use. ๐Ÿ˜œ

The killers on the other hand have 5 obsession perks that're directly gameplay and they affect all the survivors alive in the trial.

  • Wow that was incredible and so thoughtful of you and it's sad that people abuse it.

What I've seen done to control this is to have people respond to a thread and ask for either a specific one or dm the person doing the giveaway.

Then the person doing the giveaway dm's them the code back and takes it off the list/says it's claimed.

  • The prodigal son returns. ๐Ÿ˜

    But seriously welcome back.

Oh come on. You're not being serious right? Or are you telling me killer mains can not be against camping and tunneling?

Of course they can be against it. Just like survivors are against completing gens.

  • It's on their agenda for once they get back 2nd week of January although people have been working on it before the break.

Good grief just stop with the victim mentality here, you've got perks that can be really strong if used right so of course they have to have a weakness. You were never supposed to be able to use all 4 obsession perks together so that's a really bad argument to use.

I use Rancor all the time and it's not a bandaid fix and if use right works wonders even against someone running OoO. Instead of making excuses or complaining about something how about learn how to actually counter the things you complain and make excuses about.

Ok good point what is the weakness of the perks for the survivors?

That's just sad that you instantly go that tired old excuse, so here's just a few examples.

    Self Care:
    1. It takes forever to heal now.
    2. Sloppy Butcher can make it take forever

    No Mither:
    1. You start in the injured state so you're a 1 hit down.
    2. The killer knows you're running it on the icon screen right at the start of the game.
    3. You moan loudly and you run in an injured state.

    Adrenaline:
    1. It's only going to work if you manage to live until all 5 gens are done.
    2. You could be one the hook and your teammates are either all dead, potatoes or they all run out the exit gate the moment they hear a killer's heartbeat.

    All aura perks:
    1. The killer could be running knockout
    2. The killer could be running a hex perk.
    3. The killer could be mind gaming your aura perks.
    4. The killer could simply follow someone using say bond to other survivors.

    Autodiadact:
    1. You actually have to find someone to heal.
    2. You actually have them let you heal them.
    3. You actually have to have a skill check come up and hopefully not before the killer comes and interrupts your healing party.

    Balanced Landing:
    1. You have to hope you actually get a map where it's useful.
    2. It causes EXHAUSTION
    3. See # 1 above.

    Borrowed Time:
    1. Better hope you're not being unhooked at a bad time.
    2. Better hope that you're not facing a smart killer that just waits out the timer like usual.

    Calm Spirit:
    1. Better hope it's a Doctor since it's pretty much worthless otherwise.
    2. Don't give me the Clown excuse because while you don't cough they still get a hit notification.
    3. Any Doctor worth their salt will tunnel you to the hook and probably camp you the moment they realize you're running said perk.
    4. It doesn't stop you from progressing in madness tiers.
    5. It doesn't stop you from standing up and quietly screaming usually in full view of said doctor.
    6. It doesn't stop the Doctor from getting a visual notification that hey someone's over here.
    7. It doesn't stop illusions from spawning let alone doing #6 above.

    Dead Hard:
    1. It doesn't stop smart killer from just baiting you into using it and then downing you shortly afterwards.
    2. It causes EXHAUSTION.

    Deliverance:
    1. You have to be able to get a safe unhook done.
    2. The person you just safely unhooked can't decide to be a noob and run right into the killer and get downed.
    3. You have to hoe the killer doesn't camp you since otherwise the perk is useless.
    4. You have to hope some noob doesn't run in and unhook you right in front of the killer and waste it.
    5. It causes the broken effect meaning you can't heal or be healed for 60 seconds and ths are fresh meat for any smart killer.

    All movement speed perks:
    1. They all cause EXHAUSTION.
    2. Smart killer will bait out the uses and then simply down the survivor.

I could go down the entire list but you get the point and the fact your arguments are just an excuse looking for something to blame your own poor gameplay on.

Playing in a way that is frustrating to the opposition is as old as the concept of opposition iteslf, yet how some survivors get so triggered by me standing by their hook for 2 mins that they call me racial slurs and tell me to kill my self is beyond me.

While playing in away that's frustrating to the opposition is quite old, teabagging the killer is not in anyway comparable to hook camping.

You can chase that person and down them, the person on the hook can't unhook themselves even with Deliverance because you'll just down them again.

Also slurs and other insults don't require just one specific trigger, I've been called many things playing both sides just because I outplayed the other side.

  • It's doable and it's not supposed to happen within the 1st few weeks of launch so asking for screenshot proof already is foolish. This is going to be something that will take some time to get similar to some of the other adepts.
