This would be a cool feature, but I personally would rather see PlayStation develop a gift system themselves so I don’t have to go through Amazon.

I see a lot of people in the comments who want a better skin for Julie and I completely agree with you. Julie deserves some love, she's the only member of the Legion who doesn't have a good and unique skin, all of them are pretty "boring" if you know what I mean.
They’re “boring” because it’s essentially the default skin recolored. Meanwhile even Frank has a special letterman jacket with a noticeably different mask. So it just really makes Julie look like an alternative Frank outfit aka Frank With Boobs as opposed to being her own personality.
-
All I have known is the yellow coloring but the darker MENU looks so much more appealing.
-
I got Julie’s Suspended outfit. I hope she gets some nice and unique stuff soon. I like Julie the best.

They got the neon high vis one
That was Joey technically. Julie in particular literally has nothing unique and special for her. Frank has his letterman and Susie has her colorful hair and hoodie skirt combo.
-
I’m very glad that issue is getting fixed, but I’m talking about people who have prestiged and have 50 levels and are mysteriously still at rank 18 or 20.
I consider myself subpar at best and I’m a yellow/green survivor. If you play enough of the game to prestige, no matter how bad you are at the game, you’re still more knowledgeable and better than genuine newcomers.
It just looks like derankers looking to bully the new kids on the block.
-
I feel exposed without ds. I get tunneled a lot, whether it’s intentional because of my psn name, because I play Jane, or it’s the killer I don’t know. Ds has either saved me or given me some pity points and a “shame on you” boop.
As far as underrated perks go, I quite like equipping lightweight, poised, and stake out.
For killers, it’s probably bbq. I just like blood points.

It should. Killers shouldn't be able to make lobbies with bad connection.

Good enough Internet is a requirement to play dbd. I'm sorry for your friend, but nothing can be done about it.
Besides having bots, but those will probably be boring after playing against real people. Would also require a lot of money and time to be made for very little return
We were able to play before the update though.
Is this a bug or is it intentional?

Satellite internet is terrible for gaming, not only for the slow download speed and hard data limits, but also the very slow ping going from the receiver to the satellite and back.
I am aware of this, but it’s not like my friend has any control over it. Her mom made her move with her from good internet in a nice town to bad internet in the middle of nowhere.
-
I’m gonna miss it. I’m going to be out of the state.
-
It amazes me that the internet - a tool of limitless knowledge and communication - makes people think “yup, time to be an ######### cowering in anonymity” instead of being decent human beings. You’re not cool for making people feel like crap.
Also so many of these comments are so Edgy, grow up. You learn about empathy in kindergarten - shame it seems like some of you never matured passed that level.
-
I don’t really care unless survivors try to break it or coordinate breaking it in front of me. It just screams disrespect and bullying a killer they know must be below them. I won’t tunnel though. I refuse to let them get and break my goat.
-
I don’t think so because Nancy is louder than Claudette as well as more noticeable. She either has a bright white or bright red shirt on, so she can’t pull nearly as many stunts as Claudette can.

Put in a Support ticket. They're really good about responding to those.
How do you make one of those? Keep in mind I’m on ps4.
-
Making wiggling and struggling more accessible helps both players and gaming equipment!
The frantic whirling and mashing is just destructive and does not make players feel the struggle of survivors - it’s just annoying, tiresome, and makes players nervous about their stuff (which isn’t cheap, mind you.)
-
Bump...I hope it’s not spam. I’m genuinely curious if anyone else finds Nancy’s portrait Stranger than normal.
Edit: ahhh sorry! I didn’t mean to make a nasty bump! I didn’t want to spam the forums with another topic. My bad!
-
I hope it comes out before 12:30 pm est because I have doctors appointments to talk about my surgery! Stranger Things update would make today easier!
I can’t wait to play Nancy.
-
I play Jeff and Quentin sometimes but tbh it’s the equivalent of playing with Ken dolls. They’re fine but Barbie is the real fashionista and star of the show.
Seeing another Jane is rare imo, even rarer to find bloody Jane. Jane solidarity!
-
Give me Alien and then we’re good.
-
Original killers are great but give me Xenomorph WITH Ripley AND a Nostromo map and I will die a happy dbd fan.
It should also be noted Xenomorph is the last licensed tm killer I want or need.
DISNEY MAKE IT HAPPEN.
-
I would like to think that “anything is possible, nothing is off the table” means that Disney is willing to let dbd make an Alien chapter.

That's the wrong way of looking at it. Actually, Frank is boobless Julie.
But seriously....does she not have cosmetics?
Joe has some nice outfits, Susie has some distinct and cute outfits, Frank has his varsity jacket, and Julie has a slightly darker default outfit.
Julie should have some distinct outfits! Why should Susie and Joe have all the fun? I like Julie.

I would have said my favorite killer was Old Freddy, bar none, but he got changed - I still really like him so thank god he isn’t another Symmetra but I really miss my aura reading.
I guess my favorite killer would be Plague, Pig, Doctor, or Myers. I really like Plague’s design but she needs buffs!
My favorite survivor is definitely Jane! Gogo boots and fashion! An adult who is not a skinny minnie either!
-
The Pigman - a man with the face of a pig who put pig heads on sticks to ward off intruders. When some kids snuck onto his property, he beheaded them and kills anyone - particularly young people - that tries to summon him or goes near his property.
It’s an urban legend that’s not entirely true but it’s my hometown’s claim to fame. Other than the grisly Angola Horror in the 1860s where a train crashed into a gorge and 50 people burned to death. Fun fact! Rockefeller was supposed to be on that train but was too late to get on it. Anyways, the train crash happened on/very near Pigman Road which lends itself to that area’s reputation for hauntings. It’s said that their spirits still linger too.

Also can we please stop with the whole "it's a challenge perk" idea? If you want a challenge then you don't need no mither to get it.
Anyone who runs the perk either feels they can get some benefit out of it or just wants to be a one down and doesn't feel like going out of their way to enforce it.
It's not hard to just stop moving if you get hit, and that's effectively the same thing. So if you want your challenge then there you go. It would be more practical to try and buff NM to be an unironicaly useful perk with being broken representing a huge drawback to a powerful effect.
Agreed. Something can be challenging without screwing over the other survivors (or making them think the game is a lost cause so they dc.)
No Mither should have either built in iron will or resilience/Unbreakable speed (not both because it should still be a personal challenge.)

If she can climb UP the hay bale, yeah that's an exploit, that's pretty distinctly designed as a 1-way path.
Yeah she was distinctly OFF the hay bale and on the little slide whatever and when I came near, she scooted herself back UP the hay bale and over.
-
People whine about self care, but boy howdy is it a godsend as a solo.
I feel naked without ds and bt tbh. If I take either off, I immediately feel the sting afterwards. Lately, pretty much my builds have been sc/bt/ds/perk du jour. Although now I’m running a Pirate Santa build.
As for killer, there’s not really a single perk I’m married to. BBQ is nice. I guess Lightborn is probably the closest - I see flashlights and I would rather equip that if I had it.

Poised + Lightweight = Run like the wind, Bullseye!

There are plenty of games still going with low player pops, stop being naive
Perhaps you should stop feeling like something is OWED to you because you’re legacy. Your legacy skin is payment enough. Be satisfied with that while the rest of the players can enjoy the game fully without the weight of grinding on their shoulders.

That’s not BVHRs fault or responsibility because players decided to not play on day 1... Christ the entitlement and they are reworking the BW to for more perks, GL getting the developers to commit more time and resources for ANOTHER rework because of some crybabies on the forums, maybe the devs would like to work on something else for once instead of reworking all their hard work to have it not be good enough for you guys
First, remove the bug lodged up your Demogorgon portal.
Second, we’re criticizing this aspect of dbd BECAUSE we like this game and want it to succeed. You are foolish if you genuinely believe people should have been here from the start, and even more foolish for not considering that new players are what will be this game’s lifeblood.
-
I have been playing dbd since August of last year when it came on ps plus, quite regularly, and here’s a couple things to note:
- Jane is my only p3 maxed out character.
- I have only prestiged Jane, Ash, Michael, and Plague - all tier 1.
- As far as killers go, it’s only NOW that I’ve been able to get MOST of my killers to 50. I STILL have to do Clown, Legion, and Leatherface.
- Levels 40-50 literally take over half a million (500k) bp to complete.
- Even level 40 killers are not guaranteed to be fully enjoyable and playable due to perk rng.
The grind is neither fun nor satisfactory.
-
That is such a good chase scene.

XENOMORPH. RIPLEY. NOSTROMO.

Yeah I'm self employed and am the hardest working person I've ever met (probably) and my stress level is through the roof, what's that got to do with anything? Should every new account start with a level 50 killer and survivor and they've got all perks unlocked? If you're SOOOOOOO busy that you don't have time to play the game then go play fortnite. The grind to get a decent playable killer or survivor on this game is not bad at all.
I’m sorry that you’re so stressed but the grind is not very accessible to new players at all, and that’s a fact.
I admit survivor is much more forgiving with a weaker loadout since survivors can manage just fine with no perks at all, or even just self care. But killers NEED access to perks to even keep up with survivors on a similar or greater level than they are - and that definitely takes time. Even for someone who wants to play survivor and experiment with perks of their choice, that also takes a lot of time.
People a) want to play dbd and b) they DO have time to play - but the time it takes to have a desirable build in dbd is egregiously long and unfair for new players.
I’m sorry that you struggled so much that you feel like others should too, but the truth is that the grind needs to be easier on players.

- Overall - Freddy. His swipe is nice and the way his fingers snickety snick is nice too.
- Successful hit wipe up animation - Ghostface. I like how it harkens back to the movie.

Getting to 40 doesn't take hardly any time, bunch of crybabies in this thread. Yeah the game takes a lot of time to get a lot of things unlocked and all p3, but it takes very little time to get a killer or survivor geared up to be in good shape for matches. Exceptionally little time.
Maybe for people who have time to game all day, but people with busy schedules are limited with their time and it DOES take a while and an investment to level up killers to a reasonable level of use.
-
I used to, but I’m going to try saving for shard cosmetics especially since I have bbq on several killers and Jane is fully maxed out with all perks.
-
I think Ghostface is fun on both sides because I actually really like how he’s like Jumpscare Myers’ scary little brother.
My only complaint is what happened to me last night: I looked right at Ghostface and he was not revealed and I got exposed.
-
I haven’t dodged a lobby in forever, and I’m starting to think I should listen to my “I got a bad feeling about this Scoob” instinct more because every single time I load up as killer, I get reds and high purples. I am a rank 14 novice killer. Then when I decide I have had ENOUGH with the bs and go ham with my loadout, the survivors are my level or lower.
Neaons and bright colored survivors, especially mixed with prestige and/or many items, is usually a sign of trouble. I always try to think the best that MAYBE THEY WANT TO LOOK CUTE but nope, I get into a game and what dya know, it’s ooo trying to bait me and ruin my day.

True, it is basically giving Botany. However, pair that with Thanatophobia, Huntress Lullaby, Ruin, and/or Pop Goes the Weasel, and I could see it working quite well.
Hi! If you want to talk about Dying Light please make your own topic and stop derailing this one, thank you :)
This topic is about getting survival scores for recovering and using Unbreakable - just as a reminder.
-
It’s a no for me.
1) They’re all dlc perks - and licensed to boot.
2) Good kernel of an idea though - I do think Kindred should be part of the base kit for SOLO players.
-
She’s really fun but I agree with the others: her traps should be more of a threat, her ambush should count as a basic attack for perks like stbfl, and her add ons need reworking. I also wouldn’t say no to faster crouch speed.
Rule set 2 should definitely be base. I think a fun change would be making traps start immediately upon putting them on and any gen completions take 20% of the time away - of course the timer would have to be increased somewhat so it’s fair.
-
I like playing in my comfortable recliner, and I see very little difference graphics wise. Other than nurse I see no difference.

You know, polyamory can be a beautiful thing.

Perhaps. It does seem a little weird to me to show the one person you don't want to hit while using the perk.
Can you elaborate on why the obsessions aura should be shown when using it?
So being the obsession would have a downside. Free Botany is a nice plus.

Interesting, but that screws over other survivors who are already being screwed over by Dying Light anyway, doesn't it?
Oh yeah good point. Maybe their aura can show for a time after they complete said action?
