I just want to play with friends, and being penalized to play with friends it's a great way to kill dbd and any other games with this feature
Yes, and for me playing 100% of the matchs in iridescent/swf ranks is not fun either.

Dredge Main I just don't complain about killer on here no one is picking my perk builds for me lol.
Very funny but inefficient killer...
I'm main skull merchant chess (no chase) hahahaha

What? I am talking about reduce the time it takes to repair each gen. For example if everyone in the lobby was in a party each gen would take 100 seconds baseline. Where as if each person in the lobby was solo the gens would each take 80 seconds. Each solo survivor in the match would reduce the repair time of the generators.
Yes, I think 80 seconds is the correct time to complete a gen.
While toolboxes should only be used to sabotage hooks, the reason is very easy to understand...repairing gens is very easy and fast.

SWF is balanced, objectively speaking. A good team of solos will destroy you just as easily as a good 4-man. Part of why solo queue is bad is because of bad teammates.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/389262/ultimate-solution-for-balance-swf
You can't punish people for playing with their friends. Showing killers who's in a SWF and who's solo would result in excessive lobby dodging, which leads to unbalanced matches, which leads to queue times increasing exponentially, which then leads to swfs quitting, which then leads to longer queue times for killers because not enough survivors.
Texas Chainsaw's number one issue right now is lobby dodging.
However ur answer ignores completely SWF issue, u solution is keep enjoying yourself and keep games a miserable experience on the other side.
-
@Biscuits said:
They already have the tuning knob for balancing solo and SWF, and it's generator repair time. Make it so for each solo survivor in the lobby the generator repair time is reduced by 5 seconds. Increase and reduce numbers as needed but it is an incredibly easy fix to make. There is no reason there should be the difference in power that there is right now. Especially because the developers keep balancing the game around SWFs and making the game more and more miserable for the average player.
Now players on soloQ have in-game info about who repairs generators, runs away from the killer etc, it's time to nerf SWF and I think this information should not be available to SWF players.
-
I assume u think SWF is balanced. 🤣

It's a perk you aren't being forced to run it.
I can't take ur answer seriously but let me guess are you a main survivor?

Trash perk with a problematic design, nerf already.

What would be the point of leaving a survivor on the hook when the killer isn't nearby? You're 1 person down then.
trying repairing a generator in a three gen.

There are a lot of perks they need to look at, even if just for tiny buffs.
There is no reason Opression should have such a long cooldown when far better regression perks have none.
I agree with u some perks are obsolete and hope they announce again more perk changes for the next chapter.

It looks to me that its a latency issue and/or the system works different for private matches. Because i haven't been denied like that in any public match.
goes without saying this happens in public games also and as said it can be exploited
I still remember in the past when survivors got a mini tp to the other side pallet after drop, no one remembers anymore (?

and the old stun validation was unfair for survivors, like, a LOT more unfair.
It is rare for the events shown to actually occur in game, hardly any players will pallet reverse a killer because it's extremely risky, not only that but I'm pretty sure that there has been confirmation that visual and audible feedback regarding new pallets (blood spurting and survivor screaming in pain) is going to be fixed.
This stun can be exploited and by the way neither of the 2 systems is fair

How come the paradise for stealth killers gets turned into Pallet Town 2.0?
I understand u perfectly.
The new maps/reworks are on the survivors sided because they are 70% players base in this game.

devs should be improve "hit validation" the patch is horrible and benefits only survivors.

When are we nerfing BBQ? Every killer runs it, so it must be nerfed.
Yeah, remove the aura reading, tell the killers to stay camping the hook.
-
servers is down
-
The problem in this game is impossible to balance if the devs don't change the mentality, they need courage to saying for the community "if you're not good in chases u never can't be are rank 1"
The most survivors are good to repair, rescue, purifying totems etc but when they face a good killer the skill comes in.
-
I'm main huntress and got the same problem, matches agains't survivors potatos I give the hatch to the last survivor in every game.
-
The new system matchmaking is terrible but I will continue to play this game because no exist none like it.

I feel like it's going to be decent on a map like Mother's Dwelling but any other map it's going to be near-worthless.
Maybe if it had a secondary effect (like another aura reveal on a kill or something) I could see myself using it. But this is just 3 perks: the perk in its current form.
3 solutions from best to worst.
Add a secondary ability active.
Increase the time of reading auras.

Well actually, that's Eruption's description.
Lethal Pursuer shows the auras of all survivors at the start of the trial for 5 seconds(?). It's a one-time use perk but it actually sounds pretty good and I can't wait for it.
Yes, I was wrong to upload the image.

I think the killer should get extra BP but they shouldn't know they are a SWF till after the game because every killer would just lobby dodge
I desagree.
Playing against SWF is too much advantage over the killer and breaks the balance, we have to know the number of survivors play on SWF to adapt builds and addons
-
Hello
I was looking information on how to improve the games against SWF and think this idea is wonderful.
I would like to know how many players are on swf, if I lose against a 4 players premade wouldn't care because SWF is OP
-
Reduction to the movement speed when replace false pallets or traps.

For me it's fine

My idea. Gen TAP it’s ok. Stop nerfing survs with a kill rate of 65-70%. And probably at least 80% with the ds nerf
so nurse needs a buff because has a low kill rate

- Generator progress now only starts after a survvivor finished the " kneel down to work on the generator"-animation.
This would stop survivors from just canceling regression in a single frame.
To buff general kicking/ regression, how about:
- Kicking a generator reduces its repair progress by Y ( Y < 3 ) charges and applies X ( X < 3) charges of "damaged" to the generator. Regression will add 0.25 charges per second of "damaged" , up to a total of 5 charges.
- ""damaged" only gains additional charges while the generator is not being repaired.
- For every charge of repair porgress, a charge of "damaged" is depleted
- Regression stops after all charges of "damaged" have been repaired. Regression stays active during that time. ( ~ 25 % repair speed penalty)
For clarity, kicking a generator would apply a debuff that stops the rempval of regression until you work on it for a time.
Might be a little complex.
Definitely devs need to fix it, increased time to complete gens is unhealthy for the game but they should make a gen regression worth it after being kicked for killers, now kicking a gen not is profitable.

Some killers think they're entitled to more.
I guess your opinion is the only one that matters here and killers are wrong.

I think the Devs are still convinced that Overcharge fixes it (even though they very deliberately allow you to hit the skillcheck whilst running away)

You're right, that's totally unbalanced!
Did you know the killer moves quicker than the survivor too?? I mean, what kind of shoddy balance is this?!
It's almost like it's asymmetrical or something!
I propose possible solutions where the game become healthier.

sorry post incorrect, delete

@malloymk said:
It would make 3 genning too strong. Maybe 1 percent, with a faster regression.
For me it's a problem when I lose 2 seconds to kick a generator and a survivor only needs a half second to stop regression, not mention "overcharge" if a survivor leave after tapping gen the skillcheck appears even if move too far from and can still succed skillcheck to prevent a explode.
1% not fix the problem, kick a gen takes 2 seconds, gen tapping about 0,5 seconds.
-
balance team? This ptb can be done in 3 months by a single person. 😆

The new killer has too weak power if u compared him with Huntress or Gunsliger I don't see any need to play it.
Short answer: I will keep playing Huntress.

I never understood why people play a game like dbd on a console with a monitor. Why not use a pc
My point was that a small % of playstation users own a ps5. An even smaller % have a tv that can support 120fps with the ps5. It's just not worth it in the near future to waste resources on it.
I play DBD on Steam/ Ps5 and for me not is a problem the controller on console because play with m&k (xim apex), my problem with ps5 it's the bad optimization.
Maybe u are right but the devs could try to unlock fps and request feedback.
-
@Might_Oakk said:
Pretty sure the only playstation 120fps game is destiny 2. I wouldn't expect many for a couple years.
To run 120fps you need an hdmi 2.1 tv as well. I'd reccomend sony 900h to pair with it. Great value on it I bought the 65
I use a monitor 27 "1080p 165hz (displayport), in my country cost $ 200.
It would great to include a performance mode, DBD not is a demanding game just need a optimization.
-
Your problems are the same as any player even big streamers, DBD is almost unplayable.

there are around 40k players playing this weekly i dont think it would make such a huge difference.
2nd i hate it when killers say EZ GG NOOB GET GOOD and im palelt stunning them but they clip through hitting me then getting teleported back behind the pallet and you cant really do anything this causes me to ALMOST ALWAYS pre drop pallets hard and barely getting any valute anyways
The latest update patch has broken the game, currently DBD has a dsync problem.
Someone tell u such nonsense "gitgud etc.." is no reason to limit the ping to other players, u should ask for devs fix the dsync.
-
Your idea is horrible when I play survivor accept the lobby after waiting 10 minutes and I want to play even though I may have the bad ping, remember that there are few killers at some times and maybe u need to play against people from far away, limiting ping of the lobby reduces the chances to find.

Kill rates are irrelevant in nurses case due to her high skill floor. She takes a lot of practise to get down hence her kill rate is low because less experienced nurses will Do worse.
The cooldown is there to help survivors break LOS and actually escape her in chase
I don't see enough nurses playing to ask for nerfs, there are currently very few.
-
The nurse needs a buff, removing cooldown power would be enough.
I don't remember the last time I see a nurse against me for this reason I know that nerf would remove her from the game almost entirely.
my advice: stop asking unnecessary nerfs Nurse has the worst kill rate and is very difficult to play.

ok so the first hex is pretty cool, really interesting, and i think u can make it a bit bigger: lvl 1 40 secs, lvl 2 50 secs and lvl 3 60secs. The survivors can't complain about it cuz it's a hex so yeah, at the hexes u need to be lucky to get a nice totem spawn, u can also add undying which has been nerfed :'( but it's still a good combo.
the second hex is insane. if u make an endgame build, like NOED, blood warden and maybe undying it would be awesome. It also slows the game, survivors having to do bones and u patrolling gens looks really nice.
Furtive ambush just seems to be a change to furtive chase, which in my opinion is a stupid perk, also if the obsession gets killed u gotta run nemesis(which is good only with STBFL or PWYF) to get a new one.
Play a build for the end game should be strong because using 2 hex totems for the end game is too risky.
cleanse totems should be as important an objective as generators.
Furtive chase is different because don't not work in chases, my idea proposes reduce the terror radius base always but requires hang survivors and not camping.
Exactly my idea is several survivors not repair the same gen or looking for totems.
The effect is strong but is a hex and it also has a cooldown.
It could be combined with other perks, for example "Tinkerer" and can be quite interesting.
I think is a bit creativity lacking every time think of "Coup de Grâce" I wonder who had the idea.

@The_Nightmare69 said:
First off I would like to state that I am a killer main,
Hex: obsessive progress seems to be alright. But is 40 seconds like max lvl? is it a 20/30/40? I like this idea because it is both a destructive and a slowdown perk. Because it discoureges survivors to coop on gens.
Cursed fog seems to be a bit broken my man, the way I understand it this just seems like blood warden but without the hook requirement and without a timer and they are unable to open the gates. so the survivors are trapped until they find the corresponding hex, This in combination with NOED just seems too OP. especially of you trow in blood warden too.
Furtive ambush just seems like a variant of furtive chase, which in imo is a useless perk. Because since Ghostface, Pig and The Shape everyone has been rocking spine chill.
About "Cursed fog"
It's true that it can be a powerful perk but by itselful is not as powerful as NOED.
Anyway playing multiple perks for end game requires a high reward, is a hex totem and can be cleanse.
I agree can get strong but has a counter and this would make the end games different and more fun.
My biggest problem with "Furtive chase" is when reduction the terror radius not work in chases.
Killers need a perk for reduce terror radius to surprise survivors.
we have "Distressing" to increase the terror radius but we need something opossed.

The solution is Xim Apex it allows emulate a mouse and keyboard in 90% (not are optimized to DBD) but I can guarantee is better than playing with gamepad.

It's necessary use NOED, at the beginning I never using it because was frowned upon for the community and received many complaints, later I seen it is because nobody wanna cleanse totems and the objetive is to make gen rush, now when I play all matches with NOED getting 4k in every game.
