Why suzie and not any of the other legion? She’s just as evil
I think she is the only 'normal' female in the game. Without being mutilated. As normal as normal can be in DBD. Julie is debatable.

Yeah it’s super crappy when a killer does this. Very uncool.
I’ll only hook survivors in farm games that make it abundantly clear they’re happy to be hooked by either tea bagging under a hook or pointing at a hook.
Hooking for points is fine. The killer I faced immediately killed everyone. None of us really got much points out it. Only the killer got points. It sucked.
-
A killer told me he wants to farm. I said ok and used bloody party streamer. Killer killed all of us.
Never again am I agreeing to farming.
Blame that 1 killer who ruined it for everyone.

Apparently legion is actually now a 100% movespeed killer in frenzy, at least after the first hit.
Is this confirmed? Why do the devs always butcher a killer nobody was complaining about?
-
This happens on all models.
-
Not afraid of the killer. I can handle killers. I'm afraid of other survivors. They are more dangerous and lethal than the killer.
-
This been going on for a while. Like maybe 5-6 months. Its been reported before. Can u guys keep talking about it? Becuz the devs keep ignoring.
-
This never got fixed. Its been going on for a while. I have to make extra accounts to keep playing. Otherwise I would just be ban for DC'ing.
Idk why the devs won't do anything about it. Wish they would just say something.
-
This happens all the time. It happened to me on both xbox one x and original xbox one. This been going on a long time and the devs don't care.
Can't even upload a video as it happens as soon as the match starts.

You: survivors should learn not to down near basement
People: but some maps have basement in the middle of the map
Me: and Trapper with fast hook perks even make it easier to basement hook in those map
You: I dont get it.
And you said survivor learning curve is slow...
Uh.. yea ... u win .....

As Trapper main, I love Wrecker yard alot, since there is no main building, and basement always spawn in the shack in the middle of map. Sometimes I like to play basement Trapper (Agitation, Iron grab, Mad grit), everysingle down is a basement hook.
I dont understand the point of this conversation. But yea basement trapper is great.

Having survivors escape through the hatch is very frustrating as killer, and does not feel earned at all when you pull it off as survivor. It is also pretty annoying for the survivor who brings the key because the killer is probably going to tunnel the hell out of them. I heard some rumours about keys getting a rework, how would you guys balance them?
Best way to balance the keys is to simply leave them alone as it is.
-
Keep camping basements so survivors learn not to down near basements.
It's a learning curve for survivors. They learn slow.
Basement camping will teach them a lesson.
-
Dont be nerfing no more killers. I am a survivor. But don't nerf killers no more.
I'm tired of bullying killers cuz survivors are extremely OP. If I die it's cuz other survivors gets me killed.

Because it didn't work as expected. The rank system also does not work correctly. Why do I become a victim in every match and do not leave the red ranks? I really enjoy playing this game. NO.
Smurf accounts. Also beginning nof every month, u need to start deranking. Otherwise ur at where suppose to be at.
Survival rate should only be around 20-25%.
Unfortunately most survivors are entitled to survive 100% of their games.

But you have no idea if anyone else has cleansed any totems because unlike the gen counter the perk doesn't tell you how many totems there are left.
So you could be wasting precious minutes that could be spent repairing gens / rescuing or mending allies / looping killers because your searching for 'that last totem' that's already been cleansed. It's a crap perk needs re-working.
I have a good sense of the game. I can see the remains of totems that someone else cleansed and keep a count on my own.
I clean usually 3-5 totems. If I did 4, and there's no indication of the last totem. I know the general area I need to go thru.
I'm not 'looking' for the last totem. That's what normal survivors do, I just end up playing my game w a mindset that there might be 1 left. That 'ding' sound lets me know where its at.
I know there's no 2 totems within 25-30 meters from each other.
And I know the general area I need to go to. Even without small game, some maps I know all the totem locations. But I need small game for maps like midwich. Not gonna run around wasting time.
Somewhere down the line, small game is extremely helpful vs hag, trapper, Freddy.
The shock I sense in the killer when noed doesn't pop lol

@Unseen_Force said:
You can help by playing killer more. Thats really the only thing that would help. Game needs more purple and red rank killers
The thing is, at high ranks, survivors are extremely OP. Only a handful of high Calibur killers play consistently.
Other killers don't want the stress.
-
@Tricks said:
Small Game + Detectives Hunch are crap perks that waste 2 slots and all Survivors need to load it in each match for it to be effective so essentially that's 8 perk slots which could have been used for far better perks to even stand a chance against 2 perk slots.
I run small game and I clear all totems on my own.

I swear every game where I manage to do well in a chase, more than half the time I get a killer who will sit there on me, teabag me, shake their head frantically like they just won the E- Superbowl. I'm sorry that it took you eight chases to finally down me, but it's not my fault, dude.
It makes me not want to get better at chases. I'd rather be knocked down in 15 seconds and hooked, than to do well in a chase for a minute and get slapped around and told no like a bad nanny for an extra minute. Yeah it's good for the game but it's certainly not enjoyable to experience. I'm already high adrenaline from managing to somehow survive a chase for that long, now you want me to take a beating I didn't deserve?
But they get bullied by survivors. They have to do what u don't like. Cuz u are doing things the killer doesn't like.

So i just came back from a doctor game after sacrificing 3 survivors and catching the last one and downing him , i then grab him and bring him to a generator and attack it as a sign to repair it . I drop him and he starts repairing then i lead him to the second one ( last one) then guide him to the exit . In the afterchat people say that they will report me for ,,farming points ?" . You dont even get points from this cause if u stay next to the survivor it doesnt count as a chase ... I personally believe that what i did is called being a good sport and doing fairplay .
Ppl been telling me they gonna report me and ban me ever since I started this game.
Nothing ever happened to me.

@Hyd said:
To be clear, I don't care if people tunnel or camp. This is a game about chasing and killing, so, honestly, complaining about being chased TOO long, or camped if a Killer wants to try and make sure you die, is just dumb. The number of things Killers and Survivors can BOTH do to screw the other over in any given game is nearly endless so, in my eyes, this really shouldn't matter but, the two things I see more people whining about here than anything else are tunneling and camping, so, even though I don't personally care about it, I do think that the devs can address it in ways that are beneficial for both Survivors and Killers.
My thoughts in general on this are that tunneling and camping only happens when you have 1) a griefer, or 2) an inexperienced new player that doesn't know any better.
It'll be difficult to stop a griefer from doing this as they won't care about any penalties for whatever they're doing (unless the penalty outright makes the killer unplayable while doing it), so, that's a tough player to counter. New players will (I think) eventually grow out of the tunneling the camping strategy. As they gain more experience, they'll eventually learn tunneling and camping is not in their best interest as it wastes a lot of time, and in addition to wasting time, camping is also super boring after a while. I've been in their shoes (new player of almost a month now), and with a lack of experience, perks, not knowing the maps, strategies, plethora of perks and add-ons, etc, this game was pretty overwhelming for a few days and at times I felt forced to camp as it was the only way to get a kill, but, I pretty quickly grew bored of it.
So, what can be done?
Tunneling - implement a passive debuff called "Tunnel Vision":
It's all in the name basically. This will be a debuff that over a certain amount of time, substantially reduces the Killer's FOV, almost to 0, the longer a chase goes on. So, basically, the Killer is going to have to call off the chase because they're not going to be able to see very well at all.
Now, the devs would have to somehow be able to distinguish between actual tunneling happening and the Killer simply being within range of Survivors for a long time - you wouldn't want to punish the Killer for being near Survivors and legit just not being able to find them, or, for doing other things like kicking gens, laying traps, etc. So, I'm not sure how exactly they'd regulate this debuff to account for all of those situations in order to activate and deactivate at fair and correct times, but I'm sure they could come up with something.
Camping - implement a passive buff/debuff called "Deadly Focus":
The Entity requires peace and quiet to focus on sacrificing the hooked Survivor, and thus, after a time within the hook radius, Deadly Focus causes hook progress to greatly slow, and when outside that radius, the progress is sped up slightly.
In addition to this, if the Killer remains, Deadly Focus has a second aspect to it where the Entity attempts to force the Killer away by making them suffer bloodshot eyes (pulsing red haziness and veiny vision on-screen) along with increasingly loud voices from the Entity, basically making it difficult to see or hear around you until you leave the radius.
Conclusion
These aren't perfect of course, I'm sure there are all sort of holes in these that could be exploited, but it's just a starting point that I think could be workable. I think to solve the tunneling and camping, you have to implement things that will make those strategies unplayable, as this helps against griefers, but also have cues or effects which make it obvious why it's happening, so that newer inexperienced players aren't confused and can learn how to play without being punished too harshly. The tunneling is probably the more complex thing to solve since it could be pretty hard to distinguish when a player is actually doing that or not.
Thoughts?
The devs have already addressed it. It was the million dollar question EVERYONE was salivating over. It was announced in a dramatic fashion w drums rolling.
Idk how many ppl I need to tell this to. I see complaints about camping everyday even though several post down, someone else already posted it about it.

I mean they're really close but isn't there a difference between Nurses and Doctors regardless of sex? Also I might quite like to fancy using her powers in a male skin sometimes. I still prefer Nurse as she is but I'll always welcome new skins for her
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1771021#Comment_1771021
Well I did say where applicable. Obviously it would be impossible or completely crazy to try and do one for Demogorgon. But it would be cool for those that can. We already have Old Lady Bubba.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1771313#Comment_1771313
Yes I agree it can verge on insensitive but it's not malicious in anyway, I just want expanded options for skins and it would be more relatable to change the killer a little bit to fit yourself more, not for everyone but enough to make profit.

The Trapmare's sister
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1772055#Comment_1772055
That's understandable. They could do it like Paladins did and make that specific skin have it's own unrelated or semi-related lore and be a designed piece that is more than just them in a different sex.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1772072#Comment_1772072
Not really though. They could always just use the "it's another version of the character from a different universe" route, or just make the skins own set aside lore. There's ways to do it without actually making every character transsexual.
My comment wasn't supposed to be taken literally...

I Disagree. I think he should keep playing. Everyone has those noob moments of frustration.
At some point, u get good enough or grow a thicker skin. Camping and tunneling helps.
And its hard to relate to top tier streamers like that when ur a noob.
Better watch streams of mid tier killers and learn that way.

we should just remove match tbh, worst idea in the game and when its down to two players it becomes hide an seek. it sucks as survivor and as killer. removing hatch and not punishing the killer s much because someone escaped would reduce slugging for 4k massively
Yea I dont play that hide and seek unless the killer is slugging and camping the body.
I work on gens til I die, or if I see the other survivor just hiding doing nothing. I just go to the killer and get myself killed.
-
All it takes is someone complaining about face camping for the 100th time and me responding by saying let's just have everyone freely play how they want.
My answer is pretty universal to most complaints. Not necessarily for face camping post.
If everyone can relax, play the game for what it is, instead of arguing over 'fun' or 'unfun' or 'fair' or 'unfair '.
Half the post would disappear and the constant bickering would just stop.
I still don't understand whats so wrong with me saying that we should all just play how we want. It gets ppl upset for some reason.
I'm pretty sure someone right now whose reading my comment is worked up.

That just adds to the power fantasy for me. I have the mind set the the survivors were set loose in the enclosure for me to play with. They exist in the trial for my entertainment. I get to be greedy and hunt them all so in that way I suppose they have fun, but as I said, the suvivors are there to make sure the killer enjoys themselves. In the game the Killers are the main characters.
Well... I guess we need more players like u on dbd.

Killer really isn’t that stressful most of the time. I’d say 90% of my killer games are really fun and hilarious, and I’m just an average boring person, not a psychopath. Maybe you should try to take the game a little less seriously.
I don't take it too seriously. But the numerous salty post I see on the forums suggests otherwise.
The results of one of the past surveys from I think April, also has it that ppl tend to not play killer cuz of how stressful it is. Overwhelming amount of surveyors stated that it was too stressful.
Ur actually in the minority, and not the majority.

Then again, I have had wonderful teammates on PC and other platforms, and also some talented killers, but that is from playing well, not just owning a device. Seriously, get over yourselves lol
EDIT: I came back bc this sounds super harsh and I hate being mean so I'm adding this and a smiley to remind people that at the end of the day, we are all here to have fun! On all platforms!! So you can disable crossplay or give people the benefit of the doubt, but keep in mind we all have the potential to be extreme gamers lmao! Thank you for listening to my DBD Talk :)!

I play games I only leave facecampers and with the previous posts you have had its obvious you are a killer main. Also I am able to show you playing killer is very easy tbh. Also even with counter perks if someone is tunneling you hard enough there nos escaping so maybe address that first. Nothing you say can excuse your first commit being a bully doesn't teach someone to have thick skin what is your logic. Your a grown adult and I can't believe you even thought that was appropriate he was venting and you decided that would be a great time to teach him a lesson. It's not your job to educate people about that obviously he know but him venting has nothing to do with you trying to bully him. You literally use facecamping as a strategy that contributes to making this game toxic so no i'm good. Have a nice day and I would kindly ask you to stop trolling people your contributing to an endless amount of anger.
Whoa whoa chill there buddy. Let's not get angry and worked up over camping.
There's only a few solution to the camping problem.
1- play single player or another game
2- play w friends and let them know camping is not allowed
3- implement bots who are programmed not to camp
4- u play killer from now on and show the rest of us how it's done
5- or just grow a thicker skin.... Put on counter perks and get good.
Not every game is a camper waiting for u to be facecamped.

I realized looking at other comments that you put that you are a regular camper you cant even play without camping its your strategy makes me laugh since everyone has thick skin ima just say you suck. Killer who have to camp on the regular are trash nothing about it. Go play a single player game. Don't get worked up just get a thicker skin im not mad I just think you should get educated. Those are the facts you live in fairy tail ponyland your justifying it by saying other people do it what an adult. I can only wonder what your teaching your children to do to other kids.
I teach my kids what I'm teaching u.
That is to have a thick skin to prepare them for the world to come.
Also I am a survivor main, we should totally play together. So u can learn more about me. I'm the type of survivor who comes for ur rescue when no one else does.
Yes, even in front of a facecamping Bubba. I will come get u.
