Is it possible we'll ever get genderbender killer skins?
I'd love to see some of the killers as the other sex where applicable, like a male Nurse would be really cool to see, or Hag, or Huntress.
Imagine female Trapper? Endless possibilities.
You're welcome BHVR.

With Legendary outfits being a thing this is totally possible.
Male nurse is essentially the doctor.
They could totally sell that as legendary skins, but they would have to change the voices for that though
God I hope not. This game does not need officially licensed rule 63 skins.
You mean they would have to do the thing they said they were going to do but immediately threw away for the very first legendary killer skin with zero explanation?
Oh. Oh, those poor developers.
Meh, in my opinion while it could be cool with some killers, it wouldn't work with others. I see some of the killers as entities more than regular humans or creatures.
If u do it with killers like huntress, nurse, trapper, it would work.
How do u do it with Myers or Blight, what about Wraith or Hag? Are u just going to add or remove the breast depending of the sex? don't think so.
So yeah, i would love to see it, but someone needs to think it through to make it look cool.
You have to know that BHVR is a small indie studio. It's only natural that they can't do everything at once :((((((
I'm definetely not salty about the unfinished and glorified purple skin for my boi oni that they try to sell us as """"legendary skin"""".Nope not at all 🙄Spirits skin should just be Oni only covered in a couple bandages
I would pay top dollar for that
Would probably earn them enough money for Dead by Daylight 2 lol
Yes, an indie studio so small and poverty stricken they cannot even afford to write an apology paragraph stating that they cannot afford to follow up on their promise just yet but that they absolutely will when time and resources permit.
Also, still my favourite Oni skin. Not quite worth, but close.
Things the game doesn't need 101. Just play legion. Female hillbilly and female deathslinger lol
No, because BHVR would actually have to give the legendary skins new voices, and that's probably not going to happen.
I mean, unless they're actually going to follow through on giving Lisa Garland a different lobby name and voice acting but just haven't gotten around to that yet.
Let's focus on getting bikinis for our current characters, then we can go full on gender swapping.
Baby steps.
Not if the whole purpose is so the character can be another gender.
I won't have a political discussion here (on my wall if you want one) but this shouldn't be a thing.
Yes because women can’t be doctors, right? 8 upvotes too. Jesus Christ
Daddy plague
Daddy plague
Doesn't legion already sort of have that?
Yes, so no reason for that to be impossible to implement on other killers
Trapper, trapper new name ---> the trap.
Sorry I had to.
No
That's not what they were saying, god your comment reeks of victim complex.
imagine a genderbender skin for legion. no that would be crazy right?
Riiight .....
It can probably happen, we already have identity-bending outfits.
Not sure if they're interested in just making them the other gender though.
If they do, it will probably come with a whole re-design as well, instead of only re-designing the character to look like the other gender.
yeah because a nurse and a doctor are the same thing....
it would be a very interesting and inclusive idea.
The only problem is that killers (and survivors) do have a lore, meaning that the only way to change the gender with a skin would be to add the gender transition in-lore, which is a very sensitive subject.
They tackled the possible gender swap with the Legion, but while it was a great idea, most "serial killers" work alone, and that's why it will be difficult to replicate.
Eh... I don't know, maybe I guess. This just feels like an odd topic to talk about for me (No offense), I guess it could work like I imagined PH being a female as a skin to represent Cheryll, and what the combination of the two characters would look like. Since as far as I know, that Pyramid head has different forms and are meant to look different depending on the person. But I would like to see what the combination of the two would look like, maybe not for the other killers though
Riiiiiight ......
I mean they're really close but isn't there a difference between Nurses and Doctors regardless of sex? Also I might quite like to fancy using her powers in a male skin sometimes. I still prefer Nurse as she is but I'll always welcome new skins for her
Well I did say where applicable. Obviously it would be impossible or completely crazy to try and do one for Demogorgon. But it would be cool for those that can. We already have Old Lady Bubba.
I'd be down. I've wanted Bikini Hag for so long.
Yes I agree it can verge on insensitive but it's not malicious in anyway, I just want expanded options for skins and it would be more relatable to change the killer a little bit to fit yourself more, not for everyone but enough to make profit.
The Trapmare's sister
That's understandable. They could do it like Paladins did and make that specific skin have it's own unrelated or semi-related lore and be a designed piece that is more than just them in a different sex.
Not really though. They could always just use the "it's another version of the character from a different universe" route, or just make the skins own set aside lore. There's ways to do it without actually making every character transsexual.
Better yet Imagine if they were all one being and thus a mixture of f and m pretty crazy right
ermm how is that a "sensitive subject"?
Instead of Jeffrey Hawk its Jennifer Hawk, soo....ermm...what is the problem?
It's called a joke, buddy. Don't take everything so seriously.
what you are saying is to create a second character, what I was implying instead is to have trans characters - which is a sensitive subject.
@coppersly, I like the alternate universe idea, but I still think it would need a moderate rework in how the characters lore is exposed. That's just my opinion anyway.
My comment wasn't supposed to be taken literally...
Isn’t that literally their Halloween skin?
Oh, you mean the Legion?
Yeah kinda
from the thread title and the OP's comment it seems they were asking for the characters genders to be bended, or swapped if you will.
female doc, oni, trapper, deathslinger etc
male huntress, hag, spirit etc
No, I want El Nurso.
Oh, it’s okay to make sexist jokes, as long as you call it a joke?
you sound like a prick. Kidding!
We are being sarcastic
You must be fun at parties.
probably more fun than the guy posting tired, old, unoriginal comebacks.
zing! Another joke buddy!
Instead of a gender swap Pyramid Head, can we just get his sister, Triangle girl?

Imagine caring about the genitals of a demented monsterous killer... hilarios people live in this world.
Doesn't Legion count? I mean.. you can play as either gender..
I get this point of view, I do. But that's not what this is about. I want them to be able to explore skins that otherwise wouldn't work on the killer in their original form. Having a different sex opens up more options for cool skins, especially with the legendary skin idea. Yeah you can wear whatever clothes on whatever gender you want but it's a game and the skins are a little more rigid than our understanding of gender and sexuality.
Legion is already done, only 21 more to go!
I think if I ever saw Michael Myers with some Tata's coming at me I might just take that L ya know.
Would Michael be stalking the survivors or would the survivors stalk Michael?
Can I be honest with you. . . . I might just be stalking Michael.
