Lol yea I had someone burn a offering to make it darker on the suffocation pit with a p3 Claudette in game and I was getting looped by a jake and downed him, then I look to my right a little in a corner of the section I was being looped around and there’s Claudette crouched the whole time and I had no idea haha but she ran out right into a trap and I got them both haha I’m honestly surprised they chose flashlights as a defense in this game , I like it don’t get me wrong but if a supernatural being was coming at me I think I would hit them with it before trying to blind themMesme said:Why can't Killers have flashlights? Yea it really doesn’t affect me because I don’t run exhaustion perks or loop the killer all day but to whine when you just got a buff is why I said that to him, I see people suggesting things or offering advice then we have these types who cry cry cry all day
What´s wrong about suggesting changes? It´s a forum. So people can express their opinion and talk about things that bother them.
Trapper got some add-on buffs and can set his traps faster. But he still is only mid tier.

Killer isnt even hard, I’ve been to high rank killer and it just got a buff at the same time as nerfing survivors , everyone was happy on here talking about the balance being back , going in the right direction etc.. and there have been no survivor buffs since but yet here are all these ######### diapers that we’re still changing and a salt mine for anyone wanting to bathe, I don’t think there are enough tissues in the world for all the killer mains on this forum who whine, that being said there are a lot of killer mains I respect on here who realize what I’m saying and who actually understand how to counter 90% of the things most people complain aboutZombieGenesis said:Killers are used to getting shafted. I've been trying to get this through to him about BL 3, if you get to that point you've been chasing them too long. If someone kites you that long they're doing it intentionally to make you waste time. The top killers always abandon bad chases instead of getting to BL 2 let alone BL3.

Most survivors don't have an issue with Nurse, they don't like her but they also don't quit. I take it as a challenge to face the strongest killer in the game.

Gotta break those pallets take away the safe zones for everyone else, what I’ll do is I’ll initiate a chase with one in a pallet dense part of the map and let them stun me immediately thinking I was a dumbass and ran into their slam and then they will go crazy with going to each pallet thinking I’m “easy” and I’ll immediately get rid of about 3-4 with no looping THEN I start trying and when they try to loop me the pallets are gone and there are always a couple of weak links in the group who can’t keep the killer busy even with the pallets, it may be a dumb strategy but it got me to rank 5 as a killer when I main as a survivor and just play killer when I want a changeyeet said:@lyric said:

it's pretty damn easy to stand still at a safe pallet and totally deny the killer bloodlust

People wonder why there are so many swf groups but it’s because whenever you play solo you get sandbagged by some piece of ######### on the team or the whole team if they are together, I’m used to playing solo and I’ve gotten to where I’m not as altruistic playing that mode because I know if I try to be I’ll end up sandbagged, one match I saved a Claudette off the hook and took a hit to try to slow the killer down from tunneling, I was getting healed by a teammate far away and here comes hobbling Claudette from outta nowhere to a part of the map you would never be running to in a chase and uses empathy to bring the killer right to me then her and the other Claudette proceed to pretend to unhook me over and over until I die on my first hook while the killer just watches in awe and even sends a message with a pic in mid mori animation of one of them and told me he got one for me, the other survivor also messaged and said sorry because they saw what the other two didUnit said:Honestly I'm getting tired of these scummy SWF survivors not wanting to help anyone that's not in their group, it's irritating and unfair to people who enjoy to play by themselves. -

Insta heals shouldn’t be added there because they’re one time use and your item is gone as well , I can agree with the others though some can really be game changers , Restraint is pretty strong and I could be wrong but you don’t even have to make it disappear do you? I always thought if you looked away the aura didn’t reveal anymore that it was only effective in the FOV for the survivors, or at least that’s what my friend told me who played this on pc before I bought this game on console two years ago (which made me buy the game after seeing it once) and I’ve just went with it ever since lolMaster said:@Rex_Huin said:

Yes they are both legit and both have a downside, by looping you’re risking getting downed by the killer for refusing to break LOS and possibly putting your team in a bad position if you’re caught or you run into them with the killer on accident. camping might guarantee you a kill if you play your cards right but they could pop all the gens in your face and leave, camping can generate 4ks pretty easy though if you have an over altruistic group and you can identify it in time. Honestly nobody should complain about either because they’re both part of the game and after a few years it’s obviously intended that way to give you multiple styles of play to choose from, if one thing isn’t working you can always switch it uppowerbats said:@Tzeentchling9 said:

Well I’ve played this game for two years and it’s my favorite game, I paid money for it so I deserve the option to play it on my off time and I could give a rats ass if you want to hear it or not YOU go away if you don’t like the thread simple as that, nobody is forcing you to be in this thread if you’re that upset. I’ve got Friday and I honestly don’t think it’s worth it, like every single match have survivors working with Jason showing him where you are or trying to pretend they have the car to pick you up so Jason can pull you out of it , or running you over with the car etc... it’s basically like if swf groups on here got to rotate on being killer and anyone not in their party is screwedtohanlon said:Checking on the price for Friday the 13th. Camping is sometimes warranted if you know for a fact someone else is there, people shouldn’t follow the killer to the hook trolling or continuing a failed flashlight save unless you are pretty certain they can wiggle free and body block. Those are ALWAYS the ones who message me after the match calling me a ######### camper , telling me to go jump into oncoming traffic etc... I just know when I play killer if I see little Claudette and meg running circles around me while I’m hooking another survivor I’m pitching a tent, roasting marshmallows, and singing campfire songs.Flipkick661 said:@Orion said:

If she’s camping the hooked survivor I always sprint through to set them off so someone else can get a unhook while she’s trying to hit me, I know doing gens is the best option but I’m gonna at least attempt to save someone before I resort to that and if you somehow know a person is gonna use the hag get a flashlight and double stack those batteries for destroying the traps on the ground and NOT to blind or save and you can avoid that problem all together

I know and I get you, trust me. I personally think this whole Server issue could have been avoided if they had better Servers but while we rage, get pissed and what not the devs try to fix it (if we believe the news). Try telling your friends It's going to be fixed and they should try it out with you at the Start of next week when everything (hopefully) is just working like it had been on the 6th.
With how long they took releasing the curtain call chapters, don't expect the problem to be solved until september. Now that they have fixed it for PC, it's a low priority for Behaviour. They don't care for the console version.
Server issues are different from certification processes. They will be able to resolve the situation quicker than the Curtain Call release debacle for console.
It's different, yeah. A normal company could fix something like that by the end of the week. But we're talking about behaviour, if you can think of something that goes wrong, behaviour will make it happen and one up it.
I honestly believe that due to how simple the solution can be, they will make the necessary changes quickly. I'm trying to be optimistic

I play on PS4 is why it was a bluescreen, it’s common when a app is open for hours on end in the background and you just pick right back up at the menu instead of restarting, I agree with a time punishment for DC but if we’re going that far then there should also be a certain ping rate requirement to be able to start a game and if you lobby dodge from a clean good connection you deserve your time ban. People say they shouldn’t be forced to play with SWF or flashlights but the devs claim they want survivor mode based around that even in solo, to have that team connection without speaking and items are apart of the game you’re not good if you dodge a item , so would you include killers and survivors in that rule for lobby dodging along with dc?Master said:@lyric said:

You’re right and majority are rage quits, but there are a few cases where mine has blue screened in game if my app is left open, like when I leave and just hop back in without restarting the app hours later . One time I got a message from a 3 SWF and killer because I was in a chase , lost the killer and was walking up to a gen to help work on it and it blue screened. Survivors thought I was trying to spectate for the killer for some reason and the killer thought I was scared of his ivory mori but never was damaged lol , I think there should be a punishment for rage quit but for something out of your control or tech wise you shouldn’t get punished

However, as you said, if it happens at all, then it is really rare and the time you need to restart your PC and get back into DBD should be around 5 minutes, which is the time punishment for the first DC in other competitive games. This time would increase if you DC regualrly -
You’re right and majority are rage quits, but there are a few cases where mine has blue screened in game if my app is left open, like when I leave and just hop back in without restarting the app hours later . One time I got a message from a 3 SWF and killer because I was in a chase , lost the killer and was walking up to a gen to help work on it and it blue screened. Survivors thought I was trying to spectate for the killer for some reason and the killer thought I was scared of his ivory mori but never was damaged lol , I think there should be a punishment for rage quit but for something out of your control or tech wise you shouldn’t get punishedMaster said:@Nickenzie said:

After all the gens we’re doing and the exit games were powered, I ended up getting hooked in the basement but it just so happened that I had adrenaline.. so after a Quentin runs down to save me and I’m automatically healthy... as soon as I head for the stairs, the nurse is standing in the middle of it not letting me or the Quentin pass. Everyone including my friend escaped and it was just me and the Quentin stuck in the basement with the nuse. Killers will do anything to justify themselves.
If you find yourself body blocked on stairs in basement just have both jump in locker, it insures one escape.

That’s strange , I guess it could be possible they haven’t patched that on xb1 yet or a glitch but I know it was specifically addressed and mentioned that you will now get to keep your items and get the 5000 for the escape if the killer DC but you still lose the offering sadly, I hate when you get an escape cake or a map you really like and they DC right at the beginning of the game because they see one or the otherfeffrey said:

I was a Rank 7 the killer left I was a rank 8 after match and when I got to campfire I was still rank 8
I played one match after that escaped and piped back to rank 7 -

They'll lose 1 pip and you'll lose 2 but it won't matter because you're rank 20 lol
You got to lose killer trolls I don't know if this is a glitch or not but if the killer leaves a lobby early during the game everyone lose a pip

hey guys. I play on the ps4, and ever since i reached rank 12 as survivor people have been very toxic.. I’ve always played the game for fun and NOT for ranks. I dont Care what rank i am, all i Care about is having fun with the game and test out builds and tactics
Yet today i encountered a lot of toxicity. First off as a survivor against a myers. The others were sacrificed and i had opened the doors to the exit. The killer seemed like he wanted to farm as he gave sign to something. I’m thinking its a totem but No it was the hatch. I go in to get that hatch and he immediately grabs me and go to a hook. He first hook me tho, instead he puts me down by the exit gate, so i crawl forward to reach it and one meter before i get there he grabs me and hooks me.
one thing is grabbing me at the hatch. I trusted him which i shouldnt have.. it was a legit tactic.. but WHY put me down so close to the exit only to grab me again and hook me. There was No reason for that, and i never teabagged or flashlighted.. i wrote the killer after the game with ‘good game’ and he then apologized saying he needed the points.. i left it at that.
second game i go in as a survivor with a 3 man swf group. We get 4 gens and i inhook people 3 times. I hurry to the basement to search the chedt for a heal kit but is downed and we all get hooked. Afterwards all 3 swf message me with toxic messages about how we are a team and i’m a leech doing nothing the entire game.. seriously? You’re telling me i was to blame? I wrote them that they should remember to have fun since its a game..
3rd game i was hooked the 2nd time. This guy that i had saved from a hook earlier comes closer. The killer is not near. The guy stands in front of the hook and looks at me struggling. He teabags and goes off. Then comes back right before i die to teabag some more. #########? We needed one gen to go. But why? Whats the point of being an ass?!
After all this i felt quite down. Why do people waste Their times just to be idiots? My suggestion is to fight salt with kindness. Lets ‘good game’ those salty killers and survivors until everyone shares the kindness.. kindness breedes kindness i hope.
Had a guy message me because he said I left before he was down and called me every name in the book and said he would show the video of me leaving to everyone, I honestly laughed because he chose to stay in with the killer and troll away from the open exit gate while everyone else was dead already so I bounced, what’s the point in staying?
Also had a guy tell me i farmed him off the hook when I healed him with We’ll make it and a full minute passed before he got caught in a bear trap and DC when he was pulled out of it , but he didn’t even get chased after being unhooked -
