Left behind was tough. Complete the last gen and escape by gates as the last survivor. A lot has to go just right for that one to work.
Farmed it. Only legitimately achieved that after the fact one time.
Left for dead and item of obsession I got because the killer was being nice to me. I used to do Left for dead to certain survivors though I stopped since cross-platform was put in.

If I've got a survivor who isn't pre-dropping I'm willing to waste the whole match practicing my curving. I appericate those players.
Though I see so many players giving Billy players ######### if they do resort to M1. I just saw recently a TTV mocking any Billy player they went against that used a M1 attack. I've received such salt in end game chat myself.
Because your using the thing he game with he has a hammer what's funnier they probably would be mad at you for only using the hammer on everyone but the obsession if you had STBFL.

Skilled Huntress. On PlayStation, it requires downing survivors 100 times from farther than 24 meters away. It's an absolute BS achievement and the only one I haven't gotten.
I think I remember reading it was supposed to be 10 times but BHVR made a mistake and just never bothered to fix it.

I didn't care for this perk much before, but my Lord, this perk is so annoying at times post-buff.
"Oh, but OP, you can just slug!"
I just went against 4 UBs with that perk. You know, the perk that prevents slugging.
"Oh, it's a meme perk!"
I don't care! It's hardly much of a meme anymore, and even if it was, it's still so annoying.
"Just look at wall!"
Yeah, that's really helpful when they run out into the open because they know I can't hook them.
"They're throwing the game!"
Maybe, maybe not! Have at least 1 person on gens; if I can't hook, you can win. Even if they're not on gens, it either stalls the hooking process or slows it so much that it drags on.
"Oh yeah, complain how BG player now, killer main."
Real insightful. I can find something annoying, even if it's not necessarily OP. I bought the game; I'm allowed to have an opinion.
I would suggest if it's flashlights most likely it is to pop on Lightborn it prevents background player from being usable since most people do it for the flashlight saves. Though I have known that if it's one flashlight in the lobby you should be gone without it but I mean last minute switch I think is still a thing.

Have you tried Infectious Fright?
I think it's a genuinely slept on perk at the moment, warns you of potential flashy or Buckle up plays.
I think the reason why it's slept on is because some survivors not all but some have started using Calm Spirit to prevent stuff like Infectious to be useless but I mean I think it's also because Ultimate Weapon is a thing while both are used differently but people more use Ultimate because they can locate survivors easily on the map if example it's an indoor map.

no it's a rifle. but does work kinda like a fishing gun.
except of course, comparison wise, fishing guns are extremely light and being underwater helps. also the harpoon and line weight almost nothing.
seriously, people underestimate the amount of force required to launch a harpoon like he uses in the game. the recoil alone is probably separating someone's arm from their shoulder.
I think I'm also trying to more look at it without all the fancy digging in files since I don't play on pc and I'm not a major tech person so seeing his reload animation I'm thinking he's putting a full bullet in and not just a cartridge with some gun powder. Because if it is a proper bullet it would cause problems as the bullet would hit the harpoon and ricochet off of it since it wouldn't just dead stop.

We are talking about the same game in which survivors are put on meat hooks and can heal themselves by rubbing over their wounds. I say, don't think about it too much.
It's a hypothetical question.

This game basically depends on how much you can improve the situation of the survivors until there are only 3 survivors left. So it's no wonder you give up.
On that note, there was a time when me and another soloQ defeated a region opponent with only 1 gen left and 3 gens crowded together, and we both escaped. This was the result of the survivors trying not to make any mistakes, and it showed the limits of the M1 killer.
Even if there is not such a reversal, the game quality is maintained even with two survivors. You might as well try your best.
I think it's also just how SoloQ treated me in the past I'm sorta stuck thinking there's no hope. Also didn't know they added region to the game which one were you facing.

There zero reason to pick up the preson on the floor because u won't complete the last gen so you better off playing for hatch. The person on the floor must suffer for 4 minutes because of this. Personally i just pick them up or die trying. i don't care about the hatch it a cheese win to me just like tombstone piece.
Tombstone peice I feel like is the feeling of when you look into a store see that thing you want but don't have the money for it so you instead dream of having it because you know the chances of a 4k with Tombstone is low but a man can dream.

Weird I mean I guess it kinda makes sense since your basically using 16.66% of the community(people who play on steam) as in the play testers.
-
Scary not fully uncanny yes i mean it's also a video game that has a lot of stuff so putting super realistic details can be hard unlike let's say dead space it's a single player game so no need for a server. So I think when it comes to scary it shouldn't be based on the full on graphics but also the idea of imagine that thing coming at you. I mean if you look at unknown in game uncanny in real life you wouldn't be standing there saying "Hey Bob wanna grab a cold one and watch the game?" So in the end scary no but uncanny or eerie yes definitely.
-
What I see it is as is
Dredge is the amalgamation of dark thoughts from several people while the unknown is the amalgamation of a person's single idea of what it looks like as they never fully specify what the unknown looks like in the lore instead saying this person drew what she thinks it looks like. So in the end sure it follows the same idea but instead of multiple people it's just one but the lore is also different plus it's a different style to the dredge with the unknown having a more uncanny human appearance and needing a chiropractor plus maybe a tooth brush because of those yellow teeth.

I've actually been wondering if the creature we see in-game is using a 'Dwight' outfit. It's pretty similar, and we know The Realms involve multiverses due to Haddie's lore. It would be nice to see if this is the case, with future skins being the others.
Just hopefully we don't get a Leatherface repeat since that ruined the fun for everyone still find it ridiculous people who do that.

Excellent analysis. It is also evidently a creature that “steals” the essence of people and either mimics or, I guess more accurately, assimilates them & uses their voices to lure other potential victims. Offline I think it’s inspired by several popular horror concepts: The Thing (body stealing), the bear from Annihilation (it consumed/assimilated victims and then used their voices to attract other potential victims), cryptids, and urban legends.
Yeah I did a quick read through since the dbd wiki makes it easy to read unlike the actual game where the text is small the voices part made me think of skin walkers since they mimic victims voices to lure people in. Plus the idea that it's technically doesn't have a form by the looks of it instead relying on what it's next victim/s think it looks like is cool so I am thinking that outfit wise maybe other then the usual recolors and such it might have a legion thing where it will appear as different people hopefully they do something like Leatherface(minus the major problem that got the masks removed) and release an outfit or two of the Unknown but as for example Dwight just extremely twisted up.

I don't understand your post, are you saying Huntress with STBFL is overpowered?
As for the other 4 Killers, since they have an instant down ability, chances are they won't be getting a lot of STBFL stacks as well if they are using said ability. The only justification would be for Ghostface and maybe Myers/Leatherface to some extent.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Hadn't looked forward to a game in this genre for a long time.
Was a huge fan & supporter of the game. Played the tech test, reported bugs & just looked forward to the game with excitement.
That excitement lasted about a week, if that. Between the horrible decisions they made (splitting playerbase cause they released the game w/ no anti-hack measures, made lobbies take 5 minutes to start, matches would start with 3v3 to try to curb lobby/character dodging, etc), the blatant greed, the unprofessionalism from the the devs in critique & feedback (arguing with redditors or people on twitter), blaming the players, etc..no big surprise so many people quit playing it.
TCM was just another game that came out too early, too fast, by a team of people who were not competent & destroyed a lot of credit/reputation their loyal customers once had for them (cough cough Blizz Entertainment).
I think what really drove me away from getting the game was what they were releasing in their terms of outfits with it costing money to have Bubba be bloody while in dbd it's 8 bucks(Canadian for me) and some time and grinding plus you had to pay a lot for recolors when in dbd you don't need to pay for recolors you just need grinding.

I don't understand why we have to jump through so many hoops to get these but Switch players just get codes.
Just make them available to everyone via codes if they're given out for free anyway.
See that makes sense if switch players just get codes let other folks get codes also plus it's simple still follow the watch for X amount of time claim your reward and either just send a message or whatever on Twitch with the code which is done with a bot or have it also done by a bot by emailing it. It's free most people will easily get it so the idea of scalping is not even smart because why would you scalp a free outfit that doesn't even change much I don't see many people drooling at their keyboard waiting for someone to sell an account that has legacy skins.

Just imo, maybz The Entity’s neutral or a dude, idk
Anyway, the campfire would probz have to be around 1700°-2200°F to melt any of the offerings (especially RPD badge and such) in the 45sec to 1min loading screen timeframe.
At those temps tho there’s not much chance of Survivors being able to stand that close w/o starting to cook😄
Now mix in the wards since they seem to be carved into the survivor/killer's hand unless they just have a bunch of severed hands with them.
-
@Xyvielia said:
The Entity is All Seeing, All Knowing etc. It’s her realms that she creates and holds full reign over.
I always imagined that The Entity just knows what is offered, and then chooses to accept. So offerings really don’t need to be completely burned before the start of the trial to be granted their individual effects.
She’s just pretty generous in that sense, imo
Never seen anyone give the Entity a gender before not that I'm complaining most people I guess refer to the Entity as it since you never full see it other then just spider claws.

Perhaps a little more challenging, but like i said, the solution is to work around it by making it harder for them to tell each other apart.
Here are some examples of how.
- Hiding information normally available for Survivors to see via the hud such as name, health states, etc.
- Giving The Thing the ability to see within a certain range Survivor's auras to strategically coordinate it's location to get a better jump on the Survivors when transforming back into it's normal form.
- Making Assimilation part of The Thing's power kit which has a small chance of infecting Survivors upon being injured from it, which the Survivors won't know has happen to them until it's too late and they turn into a Survivor-Thing themselves that can assist The Thing (If the Survivor-Thing refuses to assist The Thing, the killer player can just kick the player from the match and have an A.I take over.)
- Having The Thing suppress any of the Survivor's aura reading perks and items unless they take a Blood Kit Test.
- Being able to attack Survivors while Mimicking as one.
These are just some examples of how to work around SWF on comms, sure it won't really eliminate voice comm people from reporting their locations 24/7, however it still gives The Thing a greater advantage to utilitze it's power against them while adding uncertainty.
You can also give The Thing a Form Shift via add-ons that allows it to change into one of the Things from the John Carpenter movie that grants it a new power for a limited time until it turns back to it's normal form.
Also i don't think it's impossible for the devs to give the Survivor's cosmetics to The Thing when mimicking due to the fact that DC bots doesn't lose their cosmetics.
Won't lie good ideas though the one where survivors are infected and can be kicked for not participating could be a little problematic since basically like a survivor dcing it ruins the fun for everyone and that power could basically ruin the fun for some since it's a nice idea and I won't lie not everyone will like it but of course people start crying saying it's fun fair why do they need to do this when their survivor and then BHVR has to now rework it because little Timmy didn't want to be killer for a few seconds.
-
@BlightedDolphin said:
My issue is what would the Thing look like when NOT shape shifting? The true form of The Thing is never shown so would it just always be a survivor? Or maybe defaults to a random killer? Would we finally see what it actually looks like?
Well to make it simple have it be the person on the cover of the DVD as in a faceless person in a jacket with the hood up and weapon wise I would image some kind of mutated arm claw thing.
-
@Smoe said:
You can't remove SWF, but you can work around it and try to make it as hard as possible for people to tell each other apart and who they can trust.
Of course you can't remove SWF since well it would mess up the game a lot since it is also a co-op game but I think it is still the idea of a SWF would constantly say what their up too which could make playing the killer a little challenging or just boring since their isn't much pressure unless your facing SoloQ.

The reason I keep self-care is because I don't want to bring a medkit in realize after a full heal I barely got any juice left and barely another heal in so I basically have to either hope my team heals me or I find a medkit the reason I still keep it is because of stuff like Despite measures it stakes so it changes that 25% to a nice 11% just with me being injured so I heal a bit faster with self-care while stuff like Sloppy will still be annoying I don't deal with it for to long since Sloppy and Self care slow healing to increases it 50% with desperate measures alone its instead 36% while yes still alot I usually have another teammate injured or in chase while injured so on so forth while yes I could go find them I'm risking being caught and then downed so basically yeah I keep Self-care since my teammate rarely wants to heal me and Desperate just so I heal faster that way I'm back in action sooner.

Well first, working with the killer is reportable so that's an option for you in that scenario.
In general, you want your team mates to stay alive as long as possible. That increases your chances of escape. If everyone is 2 hooked and you haven't been hooked once, that's probably your cue to seek out the killer and use your hook states to buy time for the team.
I did report working with the killer is maybe the one thing I'll ever report because I get my fun isn't their priority but if they decide to do that congratulations you've just ruined the game.

Perhaps deleting your data would be an overreaction, don’t you think? You may come to regret it at a later date.
Just don’t start the game up if you don’t want to play it anymore.
Top be author they have a point don't boot the game up or better yet just delete the game since one deleting your save data if it even possible is basically shooting yourself in the foot all the chapters you bought and well outfits and such if you did buy them would be a massive waste of money while deleting the game isn't a or as much waste of money as you keep all your things instead of burning up all the cash you spent.
