The best way for the devs to change the meta isn't to release more meta perks, just release more fun perks. Here's some of the perks I'd consider fun from the most recent chapters:
- Desperate Measures
- Appraisal
- Power Struggle
- Smash Hit
- Can't remember the name (Flashbang Perk)
- Can't remember the name (Jill's Trapping Perk)
Release more fun perks like these and you'll not see as many meta perks in your games.
Smash hit is a nice exhaustion although I wonder how that idea took 4 years into the game to be a perk

Aiming with Trickster is weird because he's alternating his hands when throwing the knives, which means he's aiming in a different place each throw and it's not in the centre of the screen like the other ranged killers.
Main event isn't useless but it's not good. If you could hold Main Event it would actually be a decent ability, it's good for open areas and it lets you burst people down, but you don't get the choice of when to use it (technically you do, but you have to keep an eye on the meter then become an M1 killer until you can use it effectively). All they need to do is let us hold Main Event and the ability becomes actually useable.
Ah gotcha that's why the aiming is like that

Honestly, hardly ever. I find No Mither more useful.
It’d be nice if it had some sort of additional beneficial effect while cursed, that has nothing to do with the dying state.

A lot of people don't know what no mither does besides hue hue perma injured I've went against plenty of killers who think slugging me is fine when I'm a no mither lol

Desperate Measures is underrated for sure. The only time I use self care is when combo'd with that (and usually Botany Knowledge too). It can quickly stack up and make for some crazy good healing.
That combo can make your self care below 20 seconds right?

I figured increasing the chances of getting a skill check could help it to be paired well with perks that rely on skillchecks to happen naturally like Autodidact, Stake Out, and Fast Track.
That would definitely be nice getting no skillchecks with autodidact makes me cry

Flashbang for sure it's essentially a free firecracker that isn't event exclusive

I think survivor is faster during the day because of kids playing the game and most likely being attracted to the survivor role more

Bamboozel is fine I like running it in legion for the added bonus of pallet vaulting being faster

I like using it with a flashlight that baby lasts for ages with double batteries or a filament

IIRC, they said we will have enough shards to buy one character. But I don't remember if they said how to get the shards.
