It's okay to play how you want, but it's okay to hate what you hate.
I hate tunneling, but sometimes I have to do it, and most killers will realize that they need to do it in certain games. It's also annoying when I get tunneled, but if I get tunneled to death, I just accept it and move onto the next game. I usually run DS so meh.
In short, it's a necessary evil for this game.
-
I have to do that Clown challenge...?
Thanks as always though.
-
The 60 to 44 blade count reduction is what makes him more balanced than he used to be. He's not OP, just boring as hell to go against.
He still gets bummed by high-wall loops, so against a competent team, be prepared to get destroyed.
-
Yeah this ver of MMR is actually not bad, been having some better matches lately.
-
Billy:
- More accurate camera animations
- Base-kit Punctured Muffler (you'll almost never overheat with this add-on)
Bubba:
- Brown add-on that completely turns him into old Bubba, with the chainsaw M2 holding and 1 charge with slightly increased chainsaw duration. Oh and base-kit The Grease for the add-on.
Legion:
- Increase Frenzy movement speed from 130% to 135% (5.4m/s)
- Decrease Frenzy cancel time from 4 seconds to 3 seconds
-
I would make an alternate version of Ironworks of Misery, corrupted by pustula flowers with plenty of orange glow on the ground, hooks, etc. (Blight map)
-
- The letters, up until E.
- The
leakrumor of it being a paragraph - Ace in a cage, representing the nightguard
It's most likely Pinhead, solely because of the letters.

fnaf, unfortunately, has quite a large anti-lgbtq+ following... And we already had little twats who treat the pridecharm like a key
Lord, quit it with this dumb accusation. I'm literally LG(B)T myself and even though I disagree with Scott's political opinions, he's still a good guy who donated 50k to an LGBT charity.
-
Christ, the nerve of people to quit a game because a single franchise they don't like is theorized to get in DBD.
If you'd actually quit over FNAF, you should take a break from the internet as a whole.
-
The combo was fine before his changes in 5.1.0. I'm glad they changed them quickly before people could abuse them.
-
Who the hell comes up with these challenges?
-
With the new letter we just got (E), it's more likely to be Pinhead (Hellraiser) instead of Springtrap.
#FreeAce, he doesn't deserve to be locked in there. Plus we may have solved it.
-
Imagine getting camped and tunneled by that... horrifying monstrosity.
-
Probably a survivor from the novels, like Charlotte Emily, or Michael Afton.
However a paragraph with just Springtrap is more likely.
-
It was fine before 5.1.0, but it was honestly too much with the changes Trickster got in this mid-chapter.
-
As someone who doesn't watch anime, I think it could work in DBD under two conditions:
- Making the characters fit DBD's style
- Choosing particular anime characters that would fit in DBD
An anime killer and survivor, as long as they are remodeled to make them fit in the rest of the cast, wouldn't be out of place at all IMO. I thought Trickster was weird to see in the roster among the other slashers, but I grew on it and he doesn't feel out of place, especially with his lore.
-
It's posts like these that make us look bad, even if it's just a joke.

My dream chapter would have two killers released and those would be excellent powers for them.
Snow Miser and Heat Miser? In all seriousness yeah it'd be awesome. I'd imagine an ice-based killer's ability is to freeze pallets in place or something.

What does trickster's sound like
It's kind of like an ambient sound, it's pretty noticeable and if you play against a Trickster the next time, you'll definitely hear it for sure.
Here's what it sounds like though:

I still want an elemental-based killer (fire and ice being the most notable).
-
Breakable walls would be a better mechanic if they stopped slapping them into places that creates infinites.
Also I agree with you, their lack of communication with the community is unnecessary, ridiculously annoying, and gives us a harder time.

Wraith’s learning curve is arguably the smallest in the game.
Hit and run tactics (especially on low visibility maps like RPD) are super easy to use for newer players.
Compare that to picking a killer like Huntress… actually aiming, measuring hatchet speed and distance… Wraith is basically a noob’s favorite killer.
As I said, he's easier than many of the other killers, but he still has a skill ceiling despite his very, very low skill floor. For instance, mindgaming in loops with his uncloak superlunge.
-
People... people actually complain about Wraith, the ######### Wraith, a basic M1 killer.
(I'm not saying there isn't anything wrong with him, All-Seeing Blood is braindead.)
-
@scenekiller said:
He's a lot more powerful than he used to be, and requires basically no skill.
As for hook camping, the players seem to think they're clever by hiding nearby while invisible.
Just because a killer is easier than others, doesn't mean they take zero skill.
-
Cool story brah.

It.. would? How?
it was only meant as a joke (though I do expect some kinda twist and the letters not spelling out the actual killer..)
Oh, lol. It's still an interesting analysis, even if it was a joke.
I would like to see the Teacher in the game eventually, plus Mathieu did say "...yes, there's something to do with them" when he was asked about the Teacher's in-game files in an interview (linked).

Maybe it’s the Teacher. An original Killer which had some files in the game. They get teased by random letters because they are teaching reading and writing.
That's actually an interesting analysis, it would make a lot of sense with the whole paragraph thing.

Honestly I don't this Behaviour is this predictable. They're probably laughing watching us guess Springtrap, Candyman, Pennywise, etc... while they're finishing up development on an entirely different killer that literally no-one has thought of.
I can already feel it.
"LMAO, hey [NAME], come look at this #########. [insane laughter here]. These guys actually think it's Candyman and Springtrap? Absolutely hysterical."
-
Considering it could have been used to hold the game hostage, I guess it's understandable to why it was removed. It was funny as hell tho, sometimes the killer would be forced to break the wall to hook the survivor.

Thanks, I changed it to Blight cuz I like him and also because ynot.

I actually made a joke concept of this 5 months ago, I just never mentioned it since I couldn't come up with any perks.
Killer: The Impostor
Terror Radius: 32m
Speed: 4.6m/s
Overview: The Impostor is a suspicious killer, able to make stealthy survivors more visible in order to sneak up on them to down them instantly. They are able to traverse through lockers with their special ability, Vent.
Their personal perks, [BLANK], [BLANK], and [BLANK] .
Power: Suspicious Anomaly
Power Description: The embodiment of mystery lies upon the hands of the Impostor.
VULNERABLE VISION
While standing over a survivor who is in the Dying State, the Impostor can press the Active Ability button to stuff the survivor in a randomly colored astronaut helmets that largely resembles the Impostor's head. The astronaut helmets are very bright, and can be seen from long distances. The Impostor can place an astronaut helmet on a survivor any time they are in the Dying State while not wearing the astronaut helmet.
TASKS
Survivors must verify their identities in order to remove their astronaut helmets. Four different computers are placed around the map. Each computer is assigned to each survivor, and all of them are given a random task each time they are used. Tasks include Start Reactor, Uploading, Unlock Manifolds, and Card Swiping. Survivors are given the Oblivious status effect while doing tasks. Survivors immediately take off their hats after they complete their task successfully.
SPECIAL ABILITY: Vent
Start the trial with 1 Token. Each time a generator is completed, gain 1 Token, up to a maximum of 6 Tokens. Pressing the Power button in front of an unoccupied locker activates the venting state. The Impostor is Undetectable while in the venting state. When the Impostor is venting, their speed is tremendously increased until they teleport to another locker or leave the one they are currently at, in which they are given the option to teleport to any locker around the map by moving to an unoccupied locker. Leaving any locker, including the one you originated from, consumes 1 Token. Auras of the lockers are shown during the venting state. Unoccupied lockers are marked in white auras, while occupied lockers are marked in red auras. Occupied lockers cannot be teleported to. Once the Impostor leaves a locker, they are given the Undetectable status for 10 seconds. All survivors standing 48 metres within the Impostor are given the Exposed status until the Impostor downs at least one survivor. If the locker is occupied, a token will not be consumed, and instead the Impostor will carry the survivor formerly occupying the locker.

Antagonist of Five Night's at Freddy's 3
Also, pretty much...
the main antagonist of the FNAF franchise as a whole. Springtrap is a broken springlock suit worn by William Afton, who was killed in there and possessed the costume.
-
So, we have plenty of letters that have been confirmed.
Springtrap.Which leaves:
P, N, and G.
Red Herring has G in it, so...
P, N,
and G.Dead by Daylight's maps usually take place at night, so...
P,
and N.Some of the killers in the game have the letter P in their names, the most notable being the Pig, so...
PThat leaves... S, P, R, I, N, G, T, and A. Which forms Springtrap when put together. 1000 IQ right here. Springtrap CONFIRMED.
-
Plot twist: This "Red Herring" implied by BHVR is a red herring of that red herring to keep us from discovering the truth.
-
They pretty much did what many people asked for, making it capped at 1 hatchet and unstackable.
I do wish they did something more creative with it, though.
-
Sounds like normal Switch gameplay to me.
/j

It might overheat your PC/console idk that's all I could think of
For the update, it'll kick you out and force you to update before allowing you to play the game.

Oh that makes sense, I miss Windows 7. Glad there's people out there still using it.

It would appear he is using a computer from 1990
With all the updates DBD has gotten, it'd probably make their PC explode if that were the case.
-
@Dr_Gaster said:
Why yes it would appear you have... if you don't mind me asking what OS is that?
Holy ######### I just noticed the OS, is this man actually able to run DBD on their PC
-
See you in a year!
Probably more because of the amount of updates we'll get in a year.

I could see some skins being added. Maybe a chapter would be asking for too much since its popularity has died down.

Nothing wrong with any of the characters on the bottom.
And it won't be FNAF because Candyman will be the next licensed chapter.
Even the Among Us Impostor?

yeah I currently only really like it on plague (vomit comet)
Wraith and GF are also fun with PWYF since you can automatically get a stack by going undetectable.
-
Trickster.
G-guys come on, don't push me off the cliff yet. Let me explain.
He's fun as hell to play as IMO, his character design is stunning, yeah...
AH- wait, c'mon guys... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
-
Hell yeah, that's awesome. I can't wait to try it with double speed add-ons.
I hope they adjust PWYF for other killers.
-
Although it's true that it would make more sense for them to be VR and Cake and Pudding to be green, I disagree. I don't want the grind to be even more miserable.
-
Damm, that's terrifyingly realistic.
