All of those would be great choices tbh.

It's so sad to see Billy below Bubba in today's tier lists.

I honestly don't know... I'm just a stupid teen who obsesses over anime and is imature as hell...
Eh, I liked your posts. It kinda made my day tbh, just some dumb joke posts outta nowhere with funny titles.
I hope you have a good day/evening.
-
Don't die yet, leak us the killer before the light takes you.
-
In all seriousness, DDLC characters should only be legendary skins for survivors at best, nothing else.
Chapter would be funny as hell but it'll never happen.
-
Plague, Clown, Hag, and Billy. They're pretty rare these days. Clown is only common rn because of the challenges.
-
Yeah I'm also placing bets on Candyman.
If I'm wrong and it ends up being Mr. X, I'll accept being neutered.

So people can make multiple threads about FNAF & be taken seriously, but questioning if among us has a chance is bait?
Heh, you're funny.

I can't wait for the outcome of this thread. It's very clearly bait.
Only sussy bakas would disagree. Or maybe just impostors.

You would think someone's holding a gun to their head and forcing them to join in the discussion given how vitriolic some of the replies are.
Yeah. I just want a civil discussion about FNAF and people who despise it choose to hop in the conversation to bring in their negativity.
-
Damn, in a dev's POV, must be embarrassing knowing your mobile counterpart has a better dev team than yours.
-
Best: Nurse, no question.
Worst: Trapper, too RNG and bag-reliant.

Can y'all just hop off the bandwagon for once, this is ridiculous
I think Springtrap would be coo- oh wait, gotta fit in. Springtrap would be cringe.

Why cant we just let people enjoy things that they want to enjoy. I think that some killers are good ideas and some are bad but in the end of the day BHVR will make it work. Let people make their own concepts and theorize about who they think is next. Just have some fun with it. thats why this post was created was to share ideas and thoughts and discussions, and the comments are just filled with bad intentions and vileness
100% agree with this tbh.

I get what you are saying, and yeah I am coming off as a dick, because It's exhausting having this conversation with the same small group of people on this forums multiple times weekly. With how EVERY thread turns out, (negatively) you would assume they would get the hint that majority of the player base don't want FNAF anywhere near DBD.
Yet multiple times a week you have these same people making the exact same post expecting different results, I think there's a term for that?
That's respectable.
However the threads themselves are pretty harmless, and you can just move onto another thread or ignore it. We get these about 1-2 times a week, they're not that common.

Not my fault you take it that way. I like kids stuff, Courage the Cowardly Dog is dope. You FNAF fans are the ones that get super defensive and triggered when people call out what FNAF is.
You literally said you disagree that someone is fine (which is an insult btw) for liking... ugh nevermind, it's worthless.
This whole thing is just a bandwagon honestly.
Also I literally said it's okay if you dislike FNAF.

“My logic” was me pointing out that Springtrap is not scary whatsoever. He shows no strength over others and does not insight worry, let alone fear.
As for the other killers you mentioned, they’re domineering, they appear stronger and are clearly unnerving and unsettling.
Also at least the Trickster has a set storyline. The FNAF plot lines are one big mess, they’re so convoluted that it would be very hard for a backstory to be established in regards to tying both Dead by Daylight and FNAF together.
It's your opinion on whether of not you think he's scary. Not everyone shares your opinion. I personally disagree with you and there's those that disagree with me as well.
FNAF's lore is complicated but if we're basing it off the 3rd game then it wouldn't be that hard to put it together.

Whether intended or not, a large portion of the FNaF fan base is children. They might not have been the target audience but realistically the games did appeal to children and young teenagers. I'm not saying it's a "kids game" but let's not ignore the fact that the games do have a LARGE following of young fans.
I mean Springtrap fitting into DbD is pretty subjective. I personally think he looks like a badly decorated gingerbread man but each to their own shrug.
Which is completely fine, it's not going to change my view on FNAF.
And that's your opinion. I disagree with it, but I respect it.

So you're telling me this is scary. It's truly not. It literally looks like a teddy bear that a child played with all the time, causing it to become worn-out, and then dropped it behind the sofa where it stayed for too long to collect dust and hairs. Honestly, everything about FNAF was too overhyped.
And as for the horror genre statement, I never said it wasn't horror I just said that it barely was. Which I stand by. It might as well not be with it's fear factor, or lack of.
Looks like a character that could work in DBD's environment.
Even if he didn't look scary, his background would be similar to that of Trickster. Sadistic serial killer who uses the screams of his victims for his music, and uses his kpop alter-ego as a mask of his true self.
By your logic, I can say that Trapper just looks like some big guy that got spikes stuck on his back. Maybe Billy is just some inbred. Or I can say that Bubba is just some fat guy wearing a mask that wields a chainsaw. But here's the thing: they have backstories. Springtrap is a literal child murderer stuck in a rabbit costume. If that isn't similar to how Billy killed his parents or whatever, then idk what to say man.

Hate to be that person but what does Paragraph mean?
Don't hate yourself, paragraphs haven't been done in a while.
Paragraphs are mini-chapters that only include 1 character with no map. It can include a killer or survivor. Examples include Bill, Leatherface, and Ash. Ghostface isn't considered a paragraph for whatever reason though.

Yeah, the community has "matured" enough to bombard every twitter post, dev stream, etc about it. All I'm seeing is a too vocal minority.
Also FNAF might as well be a kid's game because you can barely even class it as a horror one. The most horror thing about it is the jump scares and they're not even that scary. Like, oh no robots that look like cuddly toys are after me!! Come on.
Along with this, the Clown's elephant costume looks ridiculous, as does the Legion's bunny cosmetics, we don't need more of that, even if they look more damaged and hurt.
There's obviously going to be children in there.
It's a horror game whether you like it or not, because it's literally in the horror genre.
And finally, Springtrap is literally a mangled corpse inside a broken Springbonnie suit. He looks absolutely NOTHING like those cosmetics. Just because he's themed after a rabbit doesn't automatically make him goofy.
-
She's a hybrid M1-M2 killer, but mostly M1. Her ambush can be useful in loops and does not count as an M1 attack.
-
Honestly the FNAF hate bandwagon is what makes people think he can't fit in DBD, and it's really tiring. If you hate FNAF for reasons such as the games themselves or other than to fit in or to look cool, then that's fine, but Christ. If you're tired of people requesting for Springtrap, that's fine too, I totally understand that.
FNAF is not a kids game, people need to stop saying that. Calling the game a 'kids game' because of your interpretation of the community is ridiculous. It's not a kids game, it wasn't meant to be one either.
Besides, the community has matured over the years, you can't just stereotype the community over a bunch of YouTube comments. The community wouldn't be an issue either way, DBD's community is already toxic.
Springtrap is the mutilated corpse of a man who is stuck in an animatronic rabbit costume. If that doesn't fit in DBD, then what does?

Yeah. The perk could only be active once the trial started - not pre lobby. In a lobby you could of course bring one item as we've always been capable of, but that would take up one slot of finders keepers once the match started and you could then search a chest to obtain your second item. People could of course run Plunderers with Open handed and Appraisal but I don't feel many would cause then they'd be down 4 perk slots that could be used to keep them alive longer rather than going on a full on treasure hunt - unless of course they wanted to open a DBD shop in game.
What I mean tho is like, imagine having a green med-kit with double charge add-ons, bringing the perks Pharmacy (which guarantees another green med-kit from a chest), Built to Last (recharges your item by 50% after it depletes), and Finders Keepers, and being able to quickly heal yourself for a total of 4 times because of those 3 perks. It'd be broken af.
As long as you can't have 2 medkits or 2 of the same type of items in general at once, I think the perk idea is pretty cool.
-
I think as long as you can only carry one of each item. 2 green med-kits would be broken tbh.

-
Lucky Break, easily.
No Way Out is pretty damn powerful now, I can see it being used more eventually. You don't need an endgame build for it, it's a great perk on its own because it allows you to slow the game down after the 5th gen is completed, giving you a chance to catch the survivors with a lot more time before they open the gate.
-
As cool as it would be, I don't know if it can be executed easily in DBD. But hey, I could be wrong.
-
No, not even close.
The new Trickster has counterplay, that is being out of line of sight to get rid of your laceration. Old Legion had absolutely ZERO counterplay. Drop a pallet? Get #########. Vault a window? They fast vault it and hit you! Vault a pallet? You guessed it. And don't even get me started on mending.

I totally agree. We are all human, and things bother us from time to time. And there are tactics I don't enjoy. But regardless, I will not send some petty salty message. I may say some ######### in my living room and my lady may laugh at me, but in no way will I spread that to another person.
Yeah, I tend to get angry and that's human nature, but I won't go as far as to criticizing the way someone plays. It's just a video game, I'd rather have people feel comfortable about how they play. As long as they enjoy it.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts by the way.

I play since Aug. 18 and i absolutely dont want old dbd back. There were so many great changes since then and im looking forward to the next changes. One of the most fun things for me is reading the patchnotes for new changes.
I liked the old HUD designwise more, but the new one is more useful. Other than that i cant really remember a change, which i want to be reverted.
Pretty much this. I like the old HUD better as well as a few other things, but DBD seems to be getting better, in fact I think it's more balanced than it's ever been. Sure it's still not balanced perfectly, but I'd rather have this than no exhaustion status effect (which means constant SB and DH), old DS, more infinites, 5-blink Nurse, and old Self-Care.
-
I'm gonna be honest, when survivors hold W I get pissed off and talk ######### about them in my head. I call them a "megHead" or a "W gamer" in my head. I do the same for killers when they camp, tunnel, or slug at 5 gens (don't care if they do those during the EGC). But I don't do crying in the endgame chat about what they do. You know why? Because it's a playstyle and I respect that.
I talk ######### about them but keep it to myself, because there's no reason to get all pissy at them for playing the way they do. I just say gg or ggwp or whatever, if I get no kills then ggwp, you guys did good. If I die as surv I'll just go to the next game or if it's a death as soon as the game ends then I'll just say gg. If I like the way they played, I'll either give them hatch or let them kill me.
Plus, it would be rather hypocritical of me to ######### on them. I hold W against killers that literally require you to hold W as their counterplay, and sometimes I absolutely need to camp, slug, and tunnel (I respect if killers need to do those). Sometimes I even make fun of myself for holding W.
I truly don't mean it when I insult others in my head while playing, it's just my mentality, heh. Play how you want, and respect how others play. (Unless you slug at 5 gens then please change your playstyle.)
-
It's really just nostalgia. I get nostalgic over it every now and then, but we'll just have to accept that change happens.
There are some things I miss, some I don't. Past DBD has old DS and the 5-blink Nurse. I miss old base-kit Billy though, and I even miss old Bubba and wish he could be playable as a brown add-on. I liked charging up my chainsaw with freedom, and then releasing my chainsaw. Plus Nemesis PWYF was fun.

most the time survivor escapes because the game was played in their favor this includes comms
Play solo queue in red ranks and prepare to suffer against a Ruin Undying Corrupt PGTW Spirit.
-
Yeah, really powerful perk tbh. It's a perk that not only tracks generators that are regressing, but if they don't have Ruin, allows you to track the killer consistently as well.
If they have Ruin, you even get to have info on more generators to compensate.
-
He's probably the best example of a "meme killer." He's kinda fun to play as, but not a very viable killer in the higher ranks.
Thrilling is a powerful perk and although way better than BBQ it suffers from no BP bonus. All Ears is a decent perk for most killers, and great for some. Furtive Chase is... we don't talk about that.
-
I think Rookie Spirit is a solid and underrated perk for the same reasons @TheClownIsKing mentioned.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if 3 skill checks are done, you'll always see gens that regress, right? For example, 3 skill checks get done, a regressing generator's aura appears, and a killer damages another one, would that one show? If so, then it's definitely a great perk.
-
Sus 😳
I agree with all of these. Remove the contamination speed boost as well. Devs think it's too oppressive? Why don't they test it in the PTB then?
-
Windows of Opportunity is a great perk if you wanna find a pallet to practice looping at.

Actually ignore me, I think the end-game stats shows pre-game loadouts. in which case, a 4-man not all using med-kits is less optimal. I still think that Wraith should be able to be light burned from looking at him without the stun, but that there should be additional objectives for Survivors to complete at the start of the game across all Killers.
I think early-game objectives would be pretty cool.

again this is the hole survivor dug.
So killers should give up and quit the game because they can't do ######### about SWF? That's fun and fair.
the sooner BHVR acknowledges comms are broken the sooner we can get balance
"Can't do ######### about SWF"
In your streams you tend to camp and tunnel too much. Each time you fail to kill the last or last 2 survivors you throw a tantrum and assume it's SWF. Maybe consider that any survivor that escapes isn't part of a squad, and maybe consider that you may have not played well.
You should try playing survivor in solo queue.
